Abstract

The development and implementation of a competency-based training model for Quality Management System (QMS) auditors are crucial for enhancing audit quality and organizational performance. This study identifies and addresses gaps in current auditor training programs through a structured approach that includes clear instructional goals, effective assessment tools, and robust instructional strategies. The research utilizes Training Needs Analysis (TNA) data and aligns training objectives with industry expectations through Occupational Standards and Competency Standards. Learning outcomes are formulated using the ABCD method (Audience, Behaviour, Condition, Degree) to ensure clarity, measurability, and achievability. The training program employs Outcome-Based Learning and Teaching (OBLT) methodologies, ensuring that the focus remains on achieving specific competencies. Self-assessment based on competency standards encourages reflective learning and self-improvement, while competency-based assessments measure the effectiveness of the training and the skills acquired by participants. The program culminates in the awarding of Micro Credentials and Certificates of Competency, which are traceable to national and international standards, thereby validating the skills and knowledge gained. Through rigorous testing and evaluation involving experts, educators, and participants, the study refines the training model to ensure its effectiveness and relevance. The findings indicate that the competency-based training model significantly improves the skills and performance of QMS auditors, leading to more effective audits and continuous quality improvement within organizations. This research contributes to the field by providing a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to developing high-quality training programs for QMS auditors.

Abstract

This research investigates the enhancement of employability for professional self-employed individuals in business management by mapping occupational standards in entrepreneurship within the Indonesian Qualification Framework (IQF). The study aims to identify the types of entrepreneurship occupations and their corresponding competencies to bridge the gap between formal education and industry needs. Utilizing a combination of the Mapping Study method and Rapid Assessment Process (RAP), the research collects and analyzes secondary data from national employment databases, industry reports, academic publications, and government documents. The findings reveal a comprehensive occupational matrix detailing the progression from foundational to advanced entrepreneurial roles, each with specific core and elective competencies. These competencies are crucial for roles emphasizing strategic leadership and business development. The study provides a structured approach for developing targeted training programs and vocational education policies that align with industry requirements, ultimately enhancing the employability of self-employed business professionals. Recommendations include aligning training programs with industry needs, enhancing access to certification programs, increasing awareness of occupational standards, incorporating practical experience, and standardizing competency descriptions across regions and institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas pelayanan dan customer experience terhadap Word of Mouth (WOM) melalui kepuasan pelanggan pada pusat kebugaran FTL Gym. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling terhadap 120 responden yang merupakan anggota aktif FTL Gym di wilayah Jabodetabek dan telah berkunjung minimal tiga kali. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan dan customer experience memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Namun, kedua variabel tersebut tidak berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap WOM. Kepuasan pelanggan terbukti berperan sebagai variabel mediasi yang signifikan dalam hubungan antara customer experience dan WOM, tetapi tidak untuk kualitas pelayanan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa WOM yang efektif dalam konteks bisnis kebugaran lebih mungkin terbentuk melalui kepuasan pelanggan yang tinggi, bukan semata-mata dari pelayanan atau pengalaman yang baik. Oleh karena itu, strategi peningkatan WOM sebaiknya difokuskan pada upaya menciptakan pelayanan berkualitas yang membangun pengalaman positif sekaligus menghasilkan kepuasan pelanggan secara optimal.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan kewirausahaan bagi remaja perempuan di Desa Cupang sebagai bagian dari upaya mendukung pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2045. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui dua tahap, yaitu sosialisasi dan praktik pembuatan produk kuliner berbasis seafood. Sosialisasi bertujuan memberikan wawasan dasar mengenai kewirausahaan, sedangkan praktik ditujukan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan teknis dalam mengolah produk makanan yang memiliki nilai jual. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta mengenai konsep wirausaha serta keterampilan dalam mengidentifikasi peluang usaha lokal. Peserta juga mampu mempraktikkan pembuatan produk jajanan secara mandiri. Program ini memberikan dampak positif dalam memberdayakan remaja perempuan menjadi pelaku ekonomi yang mandiri, serta mendorong pembangunan ekonomi desa yang lebih inklusif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh struktur kepemilikan yang terdiri dari kepemilikan manajerial, kepemilikan institusional dan kepemilikan publik terhadap nilai perusahaan pada sektor perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2021–2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik regresi data panel menggunakan Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 8 perusahaan perbankan dengan total observasi sebanyak 32 data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemilikan manajerial dan kepemilikan institusional tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Sementara itu, kepemilikan publik berpengaruh negatif terhadap nilai perusahaan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa meskipun partisipasi publik dalam kepemilikan saham meningkat, kurangnya keterlibatan aktif dalam pengambilan keputusan membuat kontribusinya terhadap peningkatan nilai perusahaan menjadi terbatas. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis terhadap literatur tata kelola perusahaan serta implikasi praktis bagi investor dan regulator dalam menyusun struktur kepemilikan yang optimal.

Abstract

Conflict is a part of human nature in living together in the society which by good management it can be used as a stimulus for improving the quality of work performance, especially in Islamic educational institutions. This study examines the source of conflict and the urgency of conflict management in the institutional environment of Islamic education. This research is qualitative descriptive research. Conflict management in Islamic educational institutions is an effective way of increasing work productivity. The key of the effectiveness of conflict management in Islamic educational institutions is the ability and innovation of institutional leaders to combine or choose the best among several conflict management strategies such as giving explanation (tabayyun), deliberation, tahkim, ishlah, and other strategies. Therefore, the leaders of Islamic educational institutions must strive to improve the ability, insight, and innovation in managing conflicts in order to improve the quality of work performance optimally.

Abstract

The Micro-Credential Quality Management System (QMS) is designed as a dynamic framework to enhance graduate employability, self-learning ability, and innovation capacity in higher education. This study adopts a research and development (R&D) approach to develop, implement, and validate a QMS that ensures micro-credentials align with industry standards, competency-based learning, and labor market demands. The preliminary validation phase tested the QMS in both vocational and academic settings, involving key stakeholders such as educators, students, and industry professionals. The findings confirm that the system effectively bridges the gap between education and industry, ensuring credible, standardized, and globally recognized micro-credentials. The QMS fosters a flexible and competency-driven learning environment, enabling graduates to acquire targeted skills that enhance career growth and workforce readiness. This study highlights the importance of continuous evaluation, industry collaboration, and standardization in optimizing the implementation of micro-credentials. The research contributes to the advancement of quality assurance in micro-credentialing, reinforcing its role as a transformative tool for lifelong learning and professional development.

Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this research are to find out the students’ needs of using material at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta toward English speaking material due to Covid-19 disease, to find out teachers’ needs towards English speaking material, and to find out the development of English speaking material based on essential basic competencies.This research employs Research and Development. The population was all XI students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta and the sample was chosen purposively only 35 students of class XI MIPA 8. The data were gathered through interviews with teachers to find out the existence of the use of English speaking materials. In addition, researchers have also distributed questionnaires to students of class XI MIPA 8 to find out the students' need for appropriate modules to improve speaking skills. The data was analyzed by based on the theme of the research questions.The results of this study indicate that the existing material is in line with the pandemic conditions, such as the module design being attractive, the content in the module in line with the latest syllabus (essential basic competencies), and the module being converted into the online form, thus students can study anywhere and anytime. The students' need for the material developed showed very varied results. As for the module development process, the researcher follows the stages under the Research and Development method.

Abstract

One of the most important aspects that must be included in ELT textbooks is culture. This research aims at exploring types of cultural contents and cultural elements. The subject of this research was English Textbook for grade XII entitled “Bahasa Inggris”. This research belongs to content analysis. Document observation was used to collect the data which were analyzed by using Miles & Huberman’s model and coding method. The research findings show that there were three types of culture found in this textbook, namely the source culture (66 times or 58%), target culture (34 times or 30%), and, international culture (14 times or 12%). Concerning the cultural elements, they were represented by product (39 times or 80%), person (9 times or 18%), and practice (1 times or 2%). Meanwhile, perspective was not represented. It implies that the textbook still focused on source cultures which were more easily internalized by the learners and on products which were the most concrete for learners to learn the culture. It is recommended that the authors of the textbook balance the cultural contents proportionally and the teachers creatively insert more target and international cultures to avoid cultural shocks.
