Abstract

Penelitian Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) Menganalisis pelaksanaan bimbingan belajar SMP Negeri Kota Jambi. (2) Menganalisis tingkat kemanfaatan ilmu yang dimiliki siswa SMP Negeri Kota Jambi. (3) Menghasilkan model bimbingan belajar berbasis prinsip-prinsip belajar dalam Islam untuk meningkatkan kemanfaatan ilmu siswa SMP Negeri Kota Jambi.  (4) Menganalisis kefektifan model bimbingan belajar berbasis prinsip-prinsip belajar dalam Islam dalam meningkatkan kemanfaatan ilmu yang diperoleh siswa SMP Negeri Kota Jambi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri Kota Jambi yang berjumlah 275 orang. Jumlah sampel 10 siswa dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) bimbingan belajar sudah dilaksanakan, namun belum menggunakan basis tertentu dalam pelaksanaannya, (2) hasil penyebaran skala kemanfaatan ilmu pada 275 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri Kota Jambi diketahui bahwa 42,18% kategori sedang, (3) dihasilkan model bimbingan bimbingan belajar berbasis prinsip-prinsip belajar dalam Islam untuk meningkatkan kemanfaatan ilmu siswa, (4) kemanfaatan ilmu pada siswa mengalami peningkatan. Tingkat kemanfaatan ilmu pada siswa sebelum bimbingan belajar adalah 116,7% dan setelah bimbingan belajar meningkat menjadi 151,7%. Terjadi peningkatan sebesar 35%. Peningkatan tersebut terjadi pada semua aspek kemanfaatan ilmu. Ini berarti model bimbingan belajar berbasis prinsip-prinsip belajar dalam Islam efektif untuk meningkatkan kemanfaatan ilmu pada siswa.The purpose of this study was to: (1) analyze the implementation of the learning guidance, (2) analyze the level of expediency owned science students SMP Negeri Jambi Twon, (3) produce a model learning guidance based on principles learned in islamic to improve the expediency of science on students, (4) analyze the effectiveness of a model learning guidance based on principles learned in islamic to improve the expediency of science on students SMP Negeri Jambi Twon. This type of research is used in research & development (R & D). The population in this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri Jambi Twon totaling 275 people. Total sample of 10 students selected by purposive sampling.  The results showed that: (1) learning guidance has been implemented, but has not been used in the implementation of a certain base, (2) the results of large-scale deployment of expediency sciences at 275 eighth grade students of SMP Negeri Jambi Twon is known that the category was 42.18%,  (3) generated model of guidance learning guidance based learning principle in Islam to enhance the expediency science students,  4) expediency science in students has increased. The level of expediency science in students before learning guidance is 116.7% and after the guidance of the group increased to 151.7%. An increase of 35%. This increase occurred in all aspects of science expediency. This means that the model-based learning guidance learning principle in Islam effectively to improve the expediency science in students

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' career understanding through career information service with Mind Mapping technique. The experimental method used pre-test post-test control group design, involving 2 classes as control group and experimental group. The results of this study indicate that students who obtain career information services with mind mapping techniques have increased understanding of career higher than students who do not get information carier information with mind mapping techniques.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of deep breathing and progressive muscle relaxation training (PMRT) techniques for pre-natal pregnant women's anxiety at Puskesmas 9 November Banjarmasin. The research method used repetead measure experiment design and the research design used was pretest and multiple posttest design. The research population is 99 and 36 samples are determined by using purposive sampling technique. Instruments used scale The Perinatal Anxiety Screening Scale (PASS). Data analysis technique used data analysis method: descriptive analysis, normality test, sphericity test, and parametric statistic with One Repeated Measure One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) test. The results showed deep breathing technique and progressive muscle relaxation training technique (PMRT) effective to reduce the anxiety of pregnant mother pre-delivery at Puskesmas 9 November Banjarmasin. Judging from the difference of effectiveness level, progressive muscle relaxation training (PMRT) technique is more effective than deep breathing technique. This study provides clarification of treatment of anxiety problems of pregnant women pre-delivery with deep breathing techniques and techniques progressive muscle relaxation training (PMRT).

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of group counseling with self-talk and combination of self talk & reframing techniques to reduce aggressiveness in students of SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Semarang. The research method used was experiment with randomized pretest-posttest comparison group design involving 14 subjects selected purposively from the total population of 117 students. The main instrument used is the Agression Questionnaire with the number of 29 items valid (rxy = 0.303 – 0.687) and reliability of 0.870. The treatment was given for 5 sessions for self talk and 5 sessions for self talk & reframing combination with 2x40 minute duration. Data analysis using wilcoxon and wallist cruciate test. The results showed the technique of reframing and self-talk effective to reduce aggressiveness of students of SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Semarang. Judging from the difference in effectiveness levels, self talk and self talk & reframing techniques show the same level of effectiveness. This study provides clarification of handling aggressiveness problem with self talk technique and combination of self talk & reframing technique.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to enhance students’ emotional maturity through experiential learning group counseling service. The experiment research method of pre-test post-test control group design was used with involving 16 students as experimental group (N = 8) and control (N = 8). The result of data analysis by using Wilcoxon test and Mann-Whitney test showed that group counseling based on experiential learning was effective to improve students’ emotional maturity. Discussion of the results of this research is directed to identify the implications of the application of group counseling based on experiential learning in improving students’ emotional maturity.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were (1) to describe and analyze non computer-assisted assessment (2) to produce a hypothetical model of computer-assisted non-test assays to improve the professional competence of School counselors and (3) to know the effectiveness of non computer-assisted assessment to improve the professional competence of School counselors. This research uses the Research and Development (R & D) method to develop computer-assisted non-test assays to improve the professional competence of school counselors. Assessment of non computer-assisted tests proved to be effective in improving the professional competence of school counselors especially on the aspects of mastering aspects and practical assessment to understand the condition, needs, and problems of learners. Discussion of the findings of this study focused on the application of non-test assessments in Junior High School Sukoharjo District.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to analyze the religiosity and readiness to face death before and after receiving Islamic group guidance, and analyze the effectiveness of Islamic group guidance to improve the religiosity and readiness to face death of the members of PWRI Jakarta. This study used experimental method with the design of one group pre-test – post-test by involving as many as 8 people as research subjects. For more, the results of Wilcoxon analysis showed that the level of religiosity of PWRI members got improvement in the post-test when compared to the results of their pre-test (z =-2.52; p < 0.01). Besides, the readiness to face death of PWRI members also increased in the post-test when compared to the results of their pre-test, (z = -2.52; p < 0.01). In conclusion, the results of this study assert that Islamic group guidance contributes the improvement of religiosity and readiness to face death.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of group guidance based on Islamic teachings with simulation game techniques in improving student interpersonal communication. The experimental research method uses the design of One Pre-test – Post-test Design with a purposive sampling technique to determine the research subjects of VII grade Madrasah Tsanawiyah as many as 10 people who have low interpersonal communication. Validation of this experimental study with guidance and counseling experts, and MTs level counselors in Kudus Regency. The results of this study indicate that interpersonal communication of students before being given group guidance based on Islamic teaching simulation techniques, the average interpersonal communication amounted to 107.71 (SD = 8.51), then increase after group guidance based on Islamic teaching amounted to 136.86 (SD = 9.02). The paired sample t-test results showed group guidance based on Islamic teaching effective simulation techniques to improve interpersonal communication of MTs students (t(9) = 14.93, p < 0.01). This study confirms that group guidance based on Islamic teaching with simulation techniques can be applied to improve student interpersonal communication.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the effectiveness of group guidance based on Gayo ethnic’s cultural value to develop the students’ Islamic character. This research used a psychological scale of Islamic character which was consisted of 3 kinds: Iman, Islam, and Ihsan. The research was done in Senior High School 4 Takengon with ten students as the research subjects. The design used is one group pre-test – post-test design. The Wilcoxon data analysis showed the group guidance based on Gayo ethnics’ cultural values was effective to improve students’ Islamic character. The result showed students’ Islamic character level improved after being given the service. Group guidance was done by internalizing Gayo ethnics’ cultural value in every step of the service.

Abstract

This study was conducted at Public Islamic High School 2 Semarang (MAN 2 Ito examine the effectiveness of Islamic-based REBT approach group counseling to reduce students’ delinquent behaviors. For more, the study belonged to experimental study with the design of pre-test – post-test control group, and involved fourteen eleventh grade students. Their data were collected through the adapted instrument of activities delinquent scale resulted from Paired sample t-test. Based on the results of paired sample t-test, it was known that the Islamic-based REBT approach group counseling was effective to reduce students’ delinquent behaviors (t(6) = 7.36, p < 0.01). This finding confirms that the Islamic-based REBT approach group counseling implemented through akhlak (good character), sholat (Islamic worship), fasting, dhikr, and prayer is effective to reduce students’ delinquent behaviors.
