Abstract

Adolescence is a complex developmental phase, where individuals face various emotional and social challenges that can affect their psychological well-being. Religiosity is believed to play a role in improving psychological well-being especially when individuals have meaning in life, emotional support, and stress management strategies. This study aims to explore the relationship between religiosity and psychological well-being in adolescents through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. This study analyzed 8 articles from the Scopus, Taylor & Francis, and Google Schoolar databases in the range of 2021-2024, which were selected through inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results showed that religiosity has a positive relationship with psychological well-being in adolescents at various levels of education, where adolescents who have high levels of religiosity tend to show better levels of psychological well-being, especially in aspects of self-acceptance, healthy social relationships, and clear life goals. However, religiosity is not the only factor that influences psychological well-being, as other variables such as social support, resilience, emotional intelligence, and economic conditions also play a significant role in shaping adolescent psychological well-being. _____________________________________________________________Masa remaja merupakan fase perkembangan yang kompleks, dimana individu menghadapi berbagai tantangan emosional dan sosial yang dapat mempengaruhi psychological well-being mereka. Religiusitas diyakini berperan dalam meningkatkan psychological well-being terlebih ketika individu memiliki makna hidup, dukungan emosional, serta strategi penanggulangan stres. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara religiusitas dan psychological well-being pada remaja melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Penelitian ini menganalisis 8 artikel dari database Scopus, Taylor & Francis, dan Google Schoolar dalam rentang tahun 2021-2024, yang dipilih melalui kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa religiusitas memiliki hubungan positif dengan psychological well-being pada remaja diberbagai jenjang pendidikan, dimana remaja yang memiliki tingkat religiusitas tinggi cenderung menunjukkan tingkat psychological well-being yang lebih baik, khususnya dalam aspek penerimaan diri, hubungan sosial yang sehat, serta tujuan hidup yang jelas. Meskipun demikian, religiusitas bukan merupakan satu-satunya faktor yang memengaruhi psychological well-being, karena variabel lain seperti dukungan sosial, resiliensi, kecerdasan emosional, serta kondisi ekonomi turut berperan signifikan dalam membentuk psychological well-being remaja.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of parents in promoting spirituality, the correlation between attachment to God and adolescent well-being, and to explore the relevance of Q.S. Ar-Ra'ad: 28 in enhancing adolescent psychological well-being. This research is a type of Systematic Literature Review with the PRISMA 2020 diagram. The database used in selecting articles includes Taylor & Francis, PubMed, and Garuda. Data analysis resulted in six articles that were selected according to the inclusion criteria. Based on the results of the literature review, it is explained that parenting from an early age has a significant influence on adolescent spirituality. Furthermore, this study proves that a high level of spirituality will provide a sense of security, tranquility, peace, life satisfaction, and self-love, so that one's psychological well-being will increase and avoid negative emotions; for this reason, there is a correlation between attachment to God and adolescent psychological well-being. Then, by interpreting Q.S. Ar-Ra'ad: 28 in life, it will provide self-awareness that the way to deal with life's problems and get peace of mind is to remember Allah. So it can be concluded that it is important to increase spirituality by building attachment to God in dealing with problems, so that you always feel calm and serene, so that you are kept away from negative actions in adolescence. ___________________________________________________________________Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan spiritualitas, korelasi antara kelekatan kepada Allah terhadap kesejahteraan remaja, dan mengetahui relevensi Q.S Ar-Ra’ad:28 dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis remaja. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Systematic Literature Review dengan diagram Prisma 2020. Data base yang digunakan dalam menyeleksi artikel yakni menggunakan Tailor & Francis, PubMed, dan Garuda. Analisis data menghasilkan enam artikel yang terseleksi disesuaikan dengan kriteria inklusi. Berdasarkan hasil literature review menjelaskan bahwa pola asuh orang tua sedari dini sangat berpengaruh pada spiritualitas remaja. Selanjutnya, dalam penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa tingkat spiritualitas yang tinggi akan memberikan rasa aman, ketenangan, kedamaian, kepuasan hidup serta mencintai diri sehingga kesejahteraan psikologi seseorang akan meningkat dan terhindar dari emosi negatif, untuk itu terdapat korelasi antara kelekatan kepada Allah dengan kesejahteraan psikologis remaja. Kemudian dengan memaknai Q.S. Ar-Ra’ad:28 dalam kehidupan, maka akan memberikan kesadaran diri bahwa cara dalam menyikapi masalah hidup dan mendapatkan ketenteraman hati yaitu dengan mengingat Allah. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan pentingnya meningkatkan spiritualitas dengan membangun kelekatan kepada Allah dalam menghadapi masalah, agar selalu merasa tenang dan tenteram sehingga dijauhi dari tindakan negatif pada remaja.

Abstract

The challenge for future counselors is using technology in counseling. Online counseling is a strategy that can be applied amid the counselee’s doubts about the effectiveness of existing counseling services. This study aims to identify the point of online counseling services from various counseling service settings. The qualitative systematic literature review design is sourced from 9 scientific journals through the semantic scholar database and has been reputable from 2013-2022. The PRISMA flow diagram model is presented—data analysis of 9 articles (out of 588 invalids) through descriptive narrative. The data findings show that it is more effective than face-to-face. School, college, addiction, health, and community counselors can apply for it. Telephone, chat, video, and text features can support multiple counseling approaches. Counselors need to develop the skills and competencies of counselors with online counseling through training and webinars.

Abstract

Adolescents are in a critical phase of personal and spiritual development, yet their increasing exposure to social media trends often creates challenges such as reduced self-awareness, weakened moral grounding, and decreased spiritual sensitivity. This research aims to explore the role of Guidance and Counseling (BK) services in enhancing adolescents’ spiritual awareness through the utilization of social media platforms. Employing a qualitative approach with the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, the study synthesizes findings from various peer-reviewed articles published between 2015–2024 that address the intersection of counseling, spiritual growth, and digital media. The results reveal that BK services conducted through social media enable counselors to deliver spiritual education, foster reflective group discussions, and provide personalized online counseling while simultaneously disseminating inspirational content. These practices have been shown to promote adolescents’ ability to manage stress, recognize the impact of online behavior, and internalize spiritual values. The findings also emphasize the significance of BK teachers adopting holistic and psychologically grounded approaches in addressing spiritual challenges in digital contexts. The study concludes that integrating BK services with social media can effectively strengthen spiritual awareness among adolescents when supported by appropriate supervision and structured program design. This research contributes practical insights for educational institutions in optimizing digital platforms for character and spiritual development. Future research should focus on testing specific BK models that integrate spirituality and digital literacy across diverse educational settings.

Abstract

Despite extensive research on the mental health consequences of bullying victimization, there is limited information on the protective factors that may mitigate these negative outcomes. This systematic review seeks to identify factors that can buffer the impact of bullying victimization on adolescent mental health. Articles were selected from the Scopus and Pubmed databases, covering studies published between 2014 and 2024. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 11 studies were found that focused on protective factors against the mental health effects of bullying among adolescents. The review reveals two major categories of protective factors: personal strengths and social support. Personal strengths include traits such as resilience, forgiveness, and religiosity, while social support involves factors such as student connectedness, parental psychological control, increased autonomy support, strong parent-child attachment, and the presence of multiple supportive adults. The findings suggest that schools should focus on building personal strengths and enhancing social support systems as key strategies to protect students from the adverse mental health effects of bullying, particularly through the improvement of counseling services and the creation of support programs.

Abstract

Initial investigations revealed that the typical student experiences a diminished level of well-being. This research aims to delve into the happiness patterns among students, scrutinize the underlying factors, and ascertain methods for enhancing their happiness. Employing a phenomenological qualitative approach, the study elucidates that students perceive happiness subjectively. Additionally, it explores the determinants influencing student happiness and strategies for augmenting their well-being within the Islamic boarding school environment. Happiness is interpreted by students at the salafiyah/traditional Islamic boarding school as a feeling filled with togetherness, simplicity and oriented towards achieving the goals of the world and the hereafter. Factors that support the happiness of students from within are acceptance, openness, calmness, resilience, self-control and good time management. While the determinants of the happiness of students who come from the first environment are attachment and parental support, peer support and support from pesantren through kyai/ustadz. The article can significantly contribute to our understanding of students' lives in Salafiyah traditional Islamic boarding schools and has practical implications for enhancing the quality of education and student well-being in that context

Abstract

Gap year adalah istilah bagi siswa yang menunda melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi mereka dalam jangka waktu yang terstruktur. Beberapa masalah pada mahasiswa gap year adalah takut akan persaingan, kurang percaya diri dengan kemampuannya, dan tidak berani bertemu orang. Oleh karena itu, ketahanan sangat penting bagi siswa tahun jeda. Ketahanan adalah pola perilaku positif selama atau saat mengalami kesulitan. Metode yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Metode SLR mengumpulkan penelitian yang tepat dan kemudian mengevaluasinya untuk menjawab pertanyaan/topik yang telah ditentukan. Pencarian data literatur menemukan 410 artikel (PubMed = 4; Skopus = 315; Google Cendekiawan = 52; pencarian manual = 39) yang kemudian diidentifikasi. Artikel yang diperoleh untuk digunakan sebagai bahan diskusi adalah 15 artikel. Hasil analisis kemudian ditinjau melalui Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). Jadi, kita dapat menyimpulkan, berdasarkan tinjauan literatur sistematis (SLR) yang telah dibahas, bahwa spiritualitas berperan penting dalam meningkatkan ketahanan mahasiswa gap year.

Abstract

Self-efficacy plays a crucial role in shaping students’ motivation, learning strategies, and future career readiness, especially for vocational high school students who are preparing for both academic and practical workforce demands. This study aimed to develop and validate a self-efficacy scale tailored to the context of vocational students by measuring three key dimensions: Magnitude, Generality, and Strength. Using a quantitative approach, the study involved 256 students from vocational schools in Sukoharjo Regency. The validation process employed Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) to test the construct validity of the scale, revealing that all items loaded significantly on their respective factors, with some items such as M3, M6, and G3 demonstrating high modification indices. This indicates a strong contribution to the model structure and areas for potential refinement. A novelty of this research lies in its contextual adaptation of the self-efficacy construct to vocational education, which is often underrepresented in psychological measurement studies. The findings confirm that self-efficacy in vocational students is a multidimensional construct and that the developed scale is both valid and reliable. The implications suggest that educators and policymakers can use this scale to design more personalized interventions aimed at enhancing students' confidence across different levels and contexts. Future research could explore longitudinal applications of the scale or its predictive validity on academic and career outcomes.
