Abstract

This research presents a low-cost automatic Air Conditioner (AC) control system designed to improve energy efficiency and thermal comfort. The system utilizes an ESP 8266 microcontroller, a DHT22 sensor to monitor temperature, and a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor to detect human presence. It is integrated with the Blynk app for real-time monitoring of temperature and AC status. The system operates based on a control logic that activates the AC only when the room is hot and occupied, adjusting its intensity depending on activity levels. The research follows the prototyping model, using the IRac.h library for managing AC communication protocols. Functional testing in six different scenarios confirms that the system operates effectively, turning the AC on only when needed and shutting it off when the room is empty or the target temperature is reached. The proposed prototype successfully automates conventional AC systems, improving both energy efficiency and user comfort.

Abstract

This research discusses precision farming in hydroponic greenhouse using design thinking methods and sensors to ensure process control and monitoring in hydroponic greenhouse. The place of research was conducted at Puriponic Greenhouse Depok. During the Covid-19 pandemic there were social problems with many employee quarantines. Quaranitine occurs, activities are carried out at home, and there also many effect of unemployment. This will cause food problems for the community to be disrupted. This hydroponic system designs a system using an Arduino device with 6 sensors to control and monitoring hydroponic greenhouse. The methodology used is Design Thinking, the research time is 2022. The systems uses 6 sensors and 6 actuators. The result of this study are the design of hydroponic system prototype along with an actuator to guarantee hydroponic control and monitoring. The novelty of this system is the actuator of each sensor in guaranteeing control and monitoring of the greenhouse.

Abstract

Currently, the use of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) has become a necessity to achieve better ranking results from Search Engines known as Search Engine Optimization, which is a collection of techniques for positioning a site so that it can be indexed by search engines and get a position in search engine results—result Pages (SERPs). Based on Globalstatistics data, there has been an increase in internet users in Indonesia who search for products through the search engine market, which has reached 97.38%. This study aims to increase the visibility of a website or multi-umah web page in search results to get a higher ranking on the SERPs in the search results. search results using white hat SEO by comparing on-page techniques and off-page techniques through descriptive qualitative methods, then analyzed using Google Search Console and Google Analytics tools to understand keyword performance, behavior, and customer interests on the umahmulti.biz.id website

Abstract

This study aims to analyze improvements to the Vocational High School (SMK) curriculum based on the COBIT 2019 framework as a standard for IT governance. Amid the rapid development of Industry 4.0 and digital transformation, the SMK curriculum must be adaptive and relevant to equip students with competencies aligned with workforce demands. The research uses a qualitative approach involving literature review, interviews, and an IT governance audit in vocational education. The analysis focuses on the Governance and Management domains of COBIT 2019 and their relation to the current SMK curriculum structure. The audit and analysis reveal gaps in risk management, information security, and curriculum implementation compared to ideal IT governance principles. Recommendations include strengthening curriculum planning, integrating digital competencies, and applying outcome-based performance measurement. This study is expected to contribute to improving vocational education quality through the effective and sustainable application of IT governance principles.

Abstract

Air pollution due to factory activities can have negative impacts on the environment and human health, especially from excessive carbon dioxide (CO?) concentrations. This study aims to design and build an Internet of Things (IoT)-based air quality monitoring system using NodeMCU V3 (ESP-12) and MQ-135 sensors to detect CO? concentrations. This system provides real-time air quality monitoring through the Blynk application and is equipped withnotifications and buzzer alarms if the CO? concentration exceeds the threshold of 2,000 ppm. The data obtained helps identify air quality and provide early warnings regarding the dangers of air pollution. The test results show that the system can work effectively in detecting increasing CO? concentrations and providing notifications as needed, so it can be used as a solution to minimize health risks due to air pollution in factory environments.

Abstract

Recommendation systems have now become an important part of a digital service, one example is e-commerce. The facts show that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on customers by making them spend more time surfing online to get daily necessities products by shopping on e-commerce sites. With the rapid development of deep learning technology today, of course, it can be used to help in terms of the process of producing a product image-based recommendation system that has a fairly high level of similarity. This study will discuss how to produce an image-based product recommendation system architecture by comparing the results of the application of algorithms 8 pre-trained models that are available and have also been widely used in various studies and the information technology industry. The dataset used is product images sourced from the kalcare.com website. After testing the pre-trained model, then an application prototype was made to be tested then in the final stage of this research a poll was conducted to determine the response and opinion of users to the protopine recommendation system made for e-commerce kalcare.com using deep learning.

Abstract

Pelayanan kesehatan jiwa di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Dr. Soeharto Heerdjan membutuhkan sistem pendaftaran pasien yang efisien dan terintegrasi guna meningkatkan kualitas layanan. Oleh karena itu, dalam Tugas Akhir ini, kami merancang dan mengimplementasikan sebuah sistem pendaftaran pasien berbasis situs web. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan efisiensi proses pendaftaran pasien serta memberikan pengalaman yang lebih baik bagi pasien yang datang ke rumah sakit. Dalam penelitian ini, Penulis menganalisis latar belakang permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh rumah sakit jiwa terkait proses pendaftaran pasien. Penulis mengidentifikasi bahwa proses yang saat ini digunakan mengakibatkan penundaan, kesalahan, dan ketidaknyamanan bagi pasien. Oleh karena itu, sistem pendaftaran pasien berbasis website dianggap sebagai solusi yang tepat untuk mengatasi masalah ini. Penulis menggunakan metode pengembangan Waterfall dimana mudah dimengerti dan digunakan. Sistem ini memiliki fitur-fitur seperti formulir pendaftaran online, jadwal praktek dokter, pembaruan data pasien, serta system antrian yang telah terintegrasi dan realtime. Dalam pengujian, penulis menggunakan Metode Blackbox Testing yang menitikberatkan pada fungsionalitas system. Pengujian dilakukan oleh beberapa user yang terkain dalam system tersebut. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi positif bagi Rumah Sakit Jiwa Dr. Soeharto Heerdjan dalam meningkatkan pelayanan pendaftaran pasien. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga dapat menjadi acuan bagi rumah sakit jiwa lainnya dalam pengembangan sistem pendaftaran pasien berbasis website yang efisien dan terintegrasi. Abstract

PT Lapi Laboratories merupakan perusahaan farmasi yang memasarkan produk Over-The-Counter (OTC) melalui tenaga penjual (salesman) untuk menjangkau pasar retail seperti apotek, warung, dan minimarket. Perusahaan masih menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan target penjualan, pemberian insentif, serta evaluasi kinerja dan profitabilitas salesman yang belum dilakukan secara terintegrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun aplikasi Point of Sales (POS) yang mampu memonitor kinerja dan profitabilitas salesman secara real-time sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan manajerial.Pengembangan sistem dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan Agile Development yang memungkinkan fleksibilitas terhadap perubahan kebutuhan bisnis. Data kebutuhan sistem diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan pemangku kepentingan dan dimodelkan menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML). Implementasi sistem menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP. Evaluasi kinerja salesman dihitung berdasarkan pencapaian target dan volume transaksi, sedangkan profitabilitas diukur melalui kontribusi penjualan dikurangi biaya operasional per individu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi POS yang dikembangkan mampu menyajikan laporan penjualan secara real-time, mempermudah evaluasi pencapaian target, serta memberikan perhitungan profitabilitas secara otomatis dan lebih akurat. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan daya saing salesman, sekaligus meningkatkan efisiensi operasional perusahaan dalam aktivitas pemasaran produk OTC.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement an Arduino Uno and NodeMCU ESP8266-based air quality monitoring system integrated with Telegram as an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automatic notification medium. This system uses MQ-7, MQ-135, and MG811 sensors to detect CO, CO₂, and other air pollutants. The research method is descriptive quantitative with testing at two locations with different activity levels, namely (1) Lebak Bulus Terminal (heavy traffic) and (2) Jl. H. Midar Pondok Pinang (low activity). The results show that CO levels reached 120 PPM at Lebak Bulus Terminal in the afternoon, which is categorized as “unhealthy” based on the Air Pollutant Standard Index (ISPU). The system was able to detect differences between clean and polluted air with 97% accuracy, a response time of 2.3 seconds, and a 98% notification success rate via Telegram. These results indicate that the system operates in real-time, efficiently, and is easily accessible, while also increasing public awareness of air quality and mitigating health risks due to pollution.

Abstract

A transcriptional fusion for an Aeromonas caviae chitinase gene was constructed under the control of a constitutive promoter of the kanaraycin resistance gene (PKmR). The construct was inserted into a medium copy number broad host range plasmid vector to yield recombinant plasmid pAM340, which harbored transcriptional fusion PKmR- chi. Another transcriptional fusion, Ptac-chi, in a recombinant plasmid pAM630, was conducted as comparison. Triparental mating of E. coli  carrying the recombinant plasmids with Pseudomotws fluorescens  5100, a phyllosphere bacterium, was performed. Pseudomonas fluorescens  5100 exconjugants were examined for constitutive expression of chitinase employing a spectrophotometric assay; they showed stronger chitin degradation activity than Escherichia coli transformants. Using a fungal antagonism plate assay, this chitinolytic P. fluorescens, however, could not inhibit selected phytopathogenic fungi.
