Abstract

Two xanthone derivatives, garciniaxanthone E (1) and 12b-Hydroxy-des-D-garcigerrin A (2) have been isolated from ethyl acetate extract of the tree bark of Garcinia dulcis. The Ultraviolet (UV), Infrared (IR), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), and Mass Spectrometry (MS) data analysis elucidated the structure of the isolated compounds. This study represents the first evaluation of compounds 1 and 2 in terms of their efficacy against receptor tyrosine kinases. The results showed that compound 1 exhibited weak activity with 12% inhibition against Insulin Receptor (InsR), while compound 2 showed moderate activity with 29% inhibition against epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). A molecular docking study targeting EGFR-TK suggests that the hydroxyl group at C-4 on compound 2 can be demolished to raise the inhibitory activity in future research.

Abstract

Food poisoning is a global issue of grave concern. If food is not properly cooked, it can be a medium for the spread of pathogenic bacteria. Vibrio alginolyticus is one of the pathogenic bacteria that can cause food poisoning. real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction (rt-PCR) can detect pathogenic bacteria in food, so it is necessary to determine the optimal annealing temperature. This research aims to obtain the optimal annealing temperature of the Va_Chr1_FR primer using Gradient PCR. The DNA concentration used was 174.5 with an A260/A280 purity of 1.94. The temperature range tested, 53°C-62°C, corresponds to the melting temperature of the Va_Chr1_FR primers. The primers designed were F5'-TTCTTCTGTTGTAGGTTCCG-F3' and R5'-CCAGCCCTCACATCTAATAC-R3'. Based on these results, a temperature of 60°C is deemed as the most optimal annealing temperature because it produces one of the brightest bands on electrophoresis with an amplicon length of 146 bp. The findings of this study will be beneficial to the development of Va_Chr1_FR Vibrio alginolyticus primers testing on food samples using the real-time PCR method.

Abstract

Abstract Adapting the national education system is fundamental to navigating the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0 eras, which prioritize the mastery of 21st-century skills. Despite the implementation of the Emancipated Learning policy, low PISA scores (OECD, 2019) underscore the urgent need for a comprehensive overhaul of the learning ecosystem that integrates technology with character strengthening to mitigate the risk of moral erosion (Lickona, 2004). This qualitative research aims to analyze and formulate a transformation strategy toward a sustainable Blended Learning Ecosystem through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology. Data were gathered from indexed scientific journals published between 2020 and 2025 and analyzed using content analysis and thematic synthesis techniques. The synthesis results indicate that an effective smart learning ecosystem requires an adaptive blended learning model based on data personalization, which is curricularly integrated with the graduate profile. This study concludes that the success of educational transformation in Indonesia depends on a harmonious tripartite synergy: technology as an instrument, innovation as a pedagogical strategy, and character as a moral foundation. This synergy is expected to produce a generation that is intellectually superior, digitally proficient, and possesses strong moral integrity on the global stage. Abstrak Penyesuaian sistem pendidikan nasional menjadi fundamental dalam menghadapi era Revolusi Industri 4.0 dan Society 5.0 yang berorientasi pada penguasaan keterampilan abad ke-21. Meskipun kebijakan "Merdeka Belajar" telah diimplementasikan, rendahnya capaian PISA (OECD, 2019) menunjukkan urgensi perbaikan ekosistem pembelajaran secara menyeluruh dapat mengintegrasikan teknologi dengan penguatan karakter demi meminimalisasi risiko erosi moral (Lickona, 2004). Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan menganalisis dan merumuskan strategi transformasi menuju Ekosistem Pembelajaran Cerdas berkelanjutan melalui metode Kajian Literatur Sistematis (Systematic Literature Review). Data dikumpulkan dari jurnal ilmiah terindeks periode 2020 -2025 dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis isi serta sintesis temuan. Hasil sintesis menunjukkan bahwa ekosistem pembelajaran cerdas yang efektif memerlukan model blended learning adaptif berbasis personalisasi data yang terintegrasi secara kurikuler dengan profil lulusan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan transformasi pendidikan di Indonesia bergantung pada sinergi tripartit yang harmonis: teknologi sebagai instrumen, inovasi sebagai strategi pedagogi, dan karakter sebagai fondasi moral. Sinergi ini diharapkan mampu mencetak generasi yang unggul secara intelektual, cakap digital, dan memiliki integritas moral yang kuat di kancah global.

Abstract

Abstract Decentralization of education is an important policy to improve school quality by transferring authority, resources, and responsibilities from the central government to local governments and educational units so that education management is more responsive to local needs. However, its implementation has had varying impacts due to differences in institutional capacity, resources, and educational culture. This study aims to comparatively analyze the impact of education decentralization on school quality in Indonesia and Japan by examining the regulatory framework, the level of school autonomy, and educational governance practices. The research method uses a literature review with a descriptive-comparative qualitative approach through policy analysis, official government documents, international agency reports, and relevant scientific articles. Data analysis was conducted using content and thematic analysis to identify patterns of relationships between decentralization configurations and school quality. The results show that educational decentralization in Indonesia is still dominated by the delegation of administrative authority and is highly dependent on fiscal capacity and regional institutional quality, so that its impact on improving learning quality and equalizing school quality has been inconsistent. In contrast, Japan implements decentralization within a strong national standard framework, supported by teacher professionalism, the capacity of local education councils, and a collaborative school culture, thereby maintaining high and relatively equitable education quality. This study concludes that the effectiveness of educational decentralization in improving school quality is largely determined by strengthening institutional capacity, a consistent quality assurance system, and a sustainable professional culture. Abstrak                                                                Desentralisasi pendidikan merupakan kebijakan penting untuk meningkatkan mutu sekolah melalui pengalihan kewenangan, sumber daya, dan tanggung jawab dari pemerintah pusat kepada pemerintah daerah dan satuan pendidikan agar pengelolaan pendidikan lebih responsif terhadap kebutuhan lokal. Namun, implementasinya menunjukkan dampak yang beragam akibat perbedaan kapasitas kelembagaan, ketersediaan sumber daya, dan budaya pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komparatif dampak desentralisasi pendidikan terhadap mutu sekolah di Indonesia dan Jepang dengan menelaah kerangka regulasi, tingkat otonomi sekolah, serta praktik tata kelola pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif-komparatif melalui analisis kebijakan, dokumen resmi pemerintah, laporan lembaga internasional, dan artikel ilmiah yang relevan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis isi dan analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola hubungan antara konfigurasi desentralisasi dan mutu sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desentralisasi pendidikan di Indonesia masih didominasi oleh pelimpahan kewenangan administratif dan sangat bergantung pada kapasitas fiskal serta kualitas kelembagaan daerah, sehingga dampaknya terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan pemerataan mutu sekolah belum konsisten. Sebaliknya, Jepang menerapkan desentralisasi dalam kerangka standar nasional yang kuat, didukung oleh profesionalisme guru, kapasitas dewan pendidikan daerah, serta budaya sekolah yang kolaboratif, sehingga mampu mempertahankan mutu pendidikan yang tinggi dan relatif merata. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa efektivitas desentralisasi pendidikan dalam meningkatkan mutu sekolah sangat ditentukan oleh penguatan kapasitas kelembagaan, sistem penjaminan mutu yang konsisten, dan budaya profesional yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a POGIL-based interactive chemistry e-module for chemistry learning in chapter stoichiometry or chemical calculation. This type of research is Research and Development (RnD) and the Borg and Gall development model. The subjects of this research were XI grade high school students. Product validation was carried out by material and language and media experts. The application used is Flip PDF Professional. The product trial was conducted at SMAN 71 Jakarta. The results showed that: (1) Expert assessment related to material aspects amounted to 85% with good interpretation, language aspects 85.83% good interpretation, and media aspects 82.21% good interpretation. (2) Assessment by teachers on a small and large scale as a whole increased, namely 94.91% on a small scale and 99.22% on a large scale with very good interpretation, and assessment by students as a whole also increased, namely 82% on a small scale and 83.50% on a large scale with good interpretation. It can be concluded that the e-module developed is very good and feasible to use as teaching material in the classroom and the students' independent learning process.

Abstract

Background: Madrasah Aliyah (MA) menghadapi tantangan berupa keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran dan sarana praktikum yang berdampak pada optimalisasi pembelajaran kimia. Pemanfaatan e-modul berbasis STEM dan etnosains menjadi alternatif inovatif, namun implementasinya masih memerlukan penguatan kompetensi guru. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru kimia MA yang tergabung dalam MGMP Kimia Jakarta melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan implementasi e-modul generasi keempat berbasis STEM-POGIL, STEM–Case Based Learning, dan etnosains pada materi laju reaksi, koloid, dan larutan penyangga. Metode: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan blended learning berupa pelatihan, diskusi kelompok terarah (FGD), dan pendampingan kepada guru kimia Madrasah Aliyah yang tergabung dalam MGMP Kementerian Agama DKI Jakarta. Materi meliputi penggunaan e-modul kimia generasi keempat berbasis STEM-POGIL pada materi laju reaksi, STEM–Case Based Learning pada koloid, serta pendekatan etnosains pada larutan penyangga. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pre-test, post-test, serta kuesioner tertutup dan terbuka. Hasil:  Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan, ditandai dengan dominasi skor post-test sebesar 100% pada sebagian besar indikator dibandingkan pre-test yang masih berada pada rentang 60–70% pada beberapa butir, serta tidak adanya peserta dengan skor di bawah 60 pada akhir kegiatan. Tingkat kepuasan peserta juga berada pada kategori sangat baik (88,3–98,3%), terutama pada aspek penguasaan materi narasumber (98,3%) dan pemahaman materi (97,2%). Kesimpulan: Meskipun demikian, implementasi di sekolah masih menghadapi kendala infrastruktur dan kebijakan internal, sehingga diperlukan pendampingan berkelanjutan untuk memastikan penerapan e-modul berbasis STEM dan etnosains secara lebih merata dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Foodborne illnesses remain a public health concern in Indonesia, prompting the search for natural antibacterial agents. This study evaluated the antibacterial activity and chemical profile of Nannochloropsis oculata extracts against Listeria monocytogenes and Shigella flexneri. Microalgae were cultivated, and cell density was monitored using an Ultraviolet–Visible (UV–Vis) spectrophotometer. Biomass was harvested and extracted using chloroform–methanol, followed by compound identification through Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC–MS). Antibacterial activity was assessed using the disc diffusion method. A total of 1.3196 g of dry biomass was obtained. At 200 mg/mL, the extract produced inhibition zones of 8.40 ± 0.17 mm against L. monocytogenes and 8.83 ± 0.29 mm against S. flexneri. GC–MS analysis revealed fatty acid derivatives, predominantly methyl palmitoleate (26.47%). These findings provide preliminary insight into the antibacterial potential of N. oculata extracts; however, further quantitative and application-based studies are required to determine their practical relevance.
