Abstract

This study aims to reveal the phenomenon of elementary school principals in Kota Lubuklinggau engaging in blusukan leadership. The research employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenology method. The subjects involved were school principals, teachers, and school staff. The data were collected using observations, interviews, and documentation. The obtained data were then analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive models in the following steps: data collection, reduction, display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results indicated that: 1) the concept of blusukan was performed by the elementary school principals through their willingness to directly supervise the working conditions of their subordinates to get real and accurate information from various sources; such information might be taken as consideration when making a decision; 2) The blusukan leadership style was implemented by encouraging subordinates, hearing and valuing their views, and sustaining close bonds between leaders and subordinates; 3) communication made by leaders was clear and not ambiguous, also easy to understand language, so subordinates can accept messages accurately, 4) due to the other vital obligations of school principals, the blusukan style should not be executed on a daily basis. Blusukan could also be done on the fly to check on subordinates while working. In this digital age, leaders could also utilize technology to support their blusukan by controlling the jobs of their subordinates through CCTV media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students difficulties in reading ini grade II students at SD Negeri 38 Lubuklinggau, to determine the factors that cause reading difficulties in grade II Students at SD Negeri 38 Lubuklinggau and to find out and to find out the teachers efforts to overcome difficulties in reading in grade II students SD Negeri 38 Lubuklinggau. This type of research used in research is using a qualitative case study approach. The subjects in this study were grade II students at SD Negeri 38 Lubuklinggau. Data collection techniques were 6 students who had difficulty reading. The types of difficulte experienced by students are: Lack of recognition of letters, difficulty reading word for word, difficulty in distinguishing letters, not placing books too close to the eyes, difficulty in reading punctuation, lack of understanding of reading content, lack of eliminating word, lack of memory, difficulty spelling, difficulty pronouncing letters, errors in substituting letters. Factors causing reading difficulties in grade II students at SD Negeri 38 Lubuklinggau are caused by two factor, namely, internal and external factors, internal factors, lack of interest in learning to read, students not attending kingdergarten (TK), intelligence factors that can affect students in reading, external factors, the teacher lacks motivation to students who have difficulty reading, familly factors that play less attention to children who have difficulty reading. Efforts made by the teacher in overcoming the reading difficulties of grade II students at SD Negeri 38 Lubuklinggau are by using interesting and effective learning media, increasing self-confidence, providing motivation, not blaming the conditions experienced by students and providing special remedial reading programs to class students II SD Negeri 38 Lubuklinggau. Abstract

This research aims to develop interactive power point-based media design. To test validity, practicality and effectiveness of interactive power point-based learning media in science learning at SD Negeri 56 Lubuklinggau. This type of research is Research and Development with a 4-D development model. The subject of this research is the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 56 Lubuklinggau. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, questionnaires, tests and documentation. Based on the results of validation of interactive power point-based learning media based on the assessment of linguists, materials and media show that interactive powerpoint-based learning media meets the valid criteria with an average score of 0,83. Meanwhile, From the analysis of the teacher and student practicality assessment sheets it was found that interactive powerpoint-based learning media met the practical criteria score 91,5%. In the field test, the N-gain (g) of 0,67 was media has moderate classification, which means that interactive powerpoint-based learning media has moderate effectiveness. Based on the results of study it can be concluded that interactive powerpoint-based learning media is proven to be valid, practical, and has effective in learning science at SD Negeri 56 Lubuklinggau. Abstract

This research aims to determine the communication of high school principals in Lubuklingga city when conducting blusukan. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, with the research subjects being the School Principal, Teacher Council, and School Staff. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. From the research, it was found that the communication carried out by the school principal in carrying out blusukan was conveying messages to subordinates in language that was easy to understand and also paying attention to the condition of the subordinates, carrying out two-way communication, using verbal, non-verbal and interpersonal communication so that the principal received appropriate and accurate information. When conducting a blusukan, the information collected during the blusukan can be used as a basis for the school principal to make decisions. In conclusion, the blusukan carried out by the school principal must use good communication so that the results of the blusukan can be used as a basis for the school principal in making decisions. Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the school principal's leadership style and spiritual approach in conducting Alaskan. This research uses a quantitative approach with multiple regression methods. The target population in this research is Lubuklinggau City elementary school principals, totaling 53 respondents. The sampling technique uses a stratified random sampling technique, namely, taking proportional random samples from each group in the school. As a result of the research, it was found that the correlation coefficient between the independent variable leadership style (X1) and the dependent variable blusukan (Y) or r x1y = 0.501, the coefficient of the principal's spiritual approach (X2) with the dependent variable blusukan performance (Y) or the correlation r x2y = 0.493 and The correlation coefficient between the leadership style variables (X1) and the principal's approach (X2) is r x1x2 = 0.429. Meanwhile, the r table value at the 5% significance level = 0.325 and the 1% significance level = 0.413. In conclusion, the influence of the independent variable leadership style (X1) and the independent variable principal's spiritual approach (X2) together with the Alaskan variable (Y) is significant Keywords: Blusukan, Leadership Style, Spiritual Approach

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the management of private high schools in improving school quality. This study used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. The subjects of the study consisted of the Principal, Teachers' Council, and School Staff. Data collection techniques; interviews, documentation, and observation. Using the Miles & Huberman data analysis technique, namely interactive model analysis. The results of the study, educators and education personnel, were carried out through selective recruitment, ongoing training, competency development, and routine performance evaluations. Students formed OSIS, extracurricular clubs, and coaching teams to support student activities. Facilities and infrastructure, namely compiling a facility management team, setting a maintenance schedule, recording needs. Finance, namely optimizing the use of existing facilities, carrying out routine maintenance, and ensuring the feasibility of facilities to support the learning process. Facilities and infrastructure through periodic audits, checking the feasibility of facilities, and collecting input from users for improvement and development. Conclusion, the management of private high schools in improving school quality consists of planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating schools which include; teaching and education personnel, students, facilities and infrastructure, finance, and curriculum.  Keywords: Management, School Quality, Senior High School

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of democratic leadership of elementary school principals in Lubuklinggau City in increasing teacher participation. The research method used was a qualitative approach with phenomenology. The research subjects consisted of principals, teachers, school staff, and the school committee. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis used the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that principals implement democratic leadership by prioritizing openness, two-way communication, dialogue, and deliberation in decision-making, and involving teachers, staff, and the school committee in resolving various school issues. This leadership implementation was able to increase active teacher participation in school planning, implementation, and development. In conclusion, the principal's democratic leadership is effective in increasing teacher participation and supporting the creation of a school climate conducive to school progress.   Keywords: Democratic Leadership, Principal, Teacher Participation, Elementary School

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leadership of elementary school principals in Lubuklinggau City in improving school quality in the digital era. The research method used was a qualitative approach with phenomenology, with research subjects including the principal, teachers, school staff, parents, and the school committee. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis employed the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results indicate that principal leadership in improving school quality in the digital era is achieved through understanding the challenges and opportunities of digitalization, strengthening principals' digital competencies, encouraging teachers to utilize technology in learning, providing adequate digital facilities and infrastructure, building collaboration among teachers in developing digital materials, ensuring the security and privacy of school data, fostering a positive digital culture, and establishing policies for the wise use of digital devices. The conclusions of this study confirm that adaptive, innovative, and digital-based principal leadership plays a strategic role in improving school quality through learning management, school management, and strengthening digital culture and security in elementary schools.   Keywords: Principal Leadership, School Quality, Digital Era, Digital Competence, Digital Culture

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the leadership strategies elementary school principals use to handle conflicts among teachers. This study used a qualitative, phenomenological approach. The results showed that the principals' strategies for handling disputes between teachers included: gathering information from various sources, being objective, using deliberative, meditative, and counseling approaches, strengthening the team, prioritizing cooperation, and respecting mutual opinions. This resulted in the implementation of their primary duties and functions running smoothly and in the prevention of serious conflicts in the performance of their respective duties. In conclusion, the leadership strategies of elementary school principals in handling disputes between teachers included using deliberative, meditative, and counseling approaches, strengthening the team, prioritizing cooperation, and respecting mutual opinions.   Keywords: Conflict, Principal, Leadership, Strategy

Abstract

Pendidikan berbasis kewirausahaan merupakan solusi potensial dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan kelompok masyarakat rentan ekonomi. Penelitian ini merupakan tinjauan pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif, bertujuan untuk memperkaya referensi terkait pengabdian masyarakat. Data diambil dari 14 artikel yang dipilih dari 22 artikel yang ditemukan di Google Scholar periode 2022-2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program-program kewirausahaan, seperti Rumah Kreatif BUMN, Kartu Prakerja, dan Program Mahasiswa Wirausaha, berperan penting dalam memberdayakan masyarakat dengan memberikan pelatihan bisnis, pendampingan, serta akses ke pasar dan modal. Studi kasus lokal dan internasional, seperti Youth Business International dan Program Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Perempuan, menunjukkan dampak signifikan dari pelatihan kewirausahaan terhadap peningkatan pendapatan dan kemandirian ekonomi. Implikasi dari temuan ini adalah pentingnya kolaborasi antara pemerintah, sektor swasta, dan lembaga pendidikan untuk menciptakan ekosistem kewirausahaan yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Saran yang diajukan meliputi diversifikasi pelatihan, pendampingan jangka panjang, peningkatan akses teknologi, dan evaluasi berkala terhadap program yang dijalankan.
