Abstract

Anaemia is a disorder characterized by a decrease in Hb (haemoglobin) levels it should; in Indonesia, 32% of adolescents suffer from anaemia (3-4 out of 10 adolescents in Indonesia have anaemia). Adolescents who suffer from anaemia can experience changes in their ability to focus on learning, decreased levels of physical fitness, and growth problems that lead to abnormal height and weight. The Indonesian government has created a program in the form of iron supplementation aimed at adolescents through educational institutions to combat anaemia.  In addition to assessing the impact of this health education activity on students' understanding and knowledge about the importance of TTD intake, this health education aims to increase students' understanding and knowledge about the urgency of drinking TTD in overcoming anaemia. This activity was carried out by a lecture method about the benefits of consuming TTD through PowerPoint and pamphlets and included the initial and final tests. Eight multiple-choice questions that measure knowledge of TTD are included in the test. The questions include the definition of TTD, the correct consumption technique, the benefits of TTD, the content of TTD, and ways to reduce the negative effects of TTD. The test assesses how much students know about blood-boosting supplements before and after attending health education. The result of this activity is that after receiving intervention in the form of health education, students' understanding increases as a result of this health education activity. Conclusion: Using educational resources such as PowerPoint and pamphlets, adolescents' understanding of TTD can be improved through health education about TTD. Abstract

Learning concentration is the student's ability to focus entirely on the subject matter, leaving aside all unrelated distractions. Concentration involves focusing attention on a particular problem or object, where attention is the process of selecting stimuli from the environment. This centering is only aimed at certain objects. Therefore, it is important to have good knowledge and attitude in recognizing learning concentration disorders. Health education aims to increase students' knowledge about the definition, causes, characteristics, and ways to overcome concentration disorders, to create a conducive learning environment and optimal learning outcomes. The method used in health education is the lecture method. The supporting media for this service is in the form of leaflets, and visual media with power points. Before and after health education, participants were given pre and post-test questionnaires. The results showed that health education can be done repeatedly to get optimal concentration improvement results. Thus, it can be concluded that the health education provided can be effective in increasing students' knowledge regarding learning concentration disorders. Although only health education has been carried out once, the impact on grade 11 students at MAN 1 Sumedang has shown effective results. The conclusion of health education using this lecture method is effective in increasing knowledge about learning concentration disorders in students. Abstract

Anemia is a serious health problem that affects society and is common throughout the world, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. The prevalence rate of anemia in adolescents aged 15 to 24 years is 32%, which means that 3-4 out of every 10 adolescents are estimated to suffer from anemia. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about anemia and the incidence of anemia among adolescents. The method used in this community service is an educational method, namely health education about anemia.  The result of this dedication is a change in knowledge after the provision of health education about anemia.  Key Words:  Anemia In Adolescents, Health Education, Level Of Knowledge

Abstract

Background: The increase in cigarette consumption is not only among adults, but also among the younger generation. The health sector in Indonesia urgently needs to understand how policies and programs can be more effectively implemented to combat smoking among adolescents in Indonesia. Aims to identify interventions and important factors that facilitate successful smoking cessation in adolescents.Methods: A Systematic review, using Publish Or Perish databases (PubMed, Crossref, Google Scholar, Scopus, Semantic Scholar) and the COCHRANE Library. Selection was based on PICOTS, which included adolescents and young adults who had never smoked, had been exposed to tobacco smoke, had ever smoked, or were planning to quit. Non pharmacological intervention, RCT studies with a minimum duration of 6 weeks were published in English in 2019-2024.Results: Reported interventions were successful in strengthening tobacco-free behaviors, but the impact and scale of implementation were limited. Changes in knowledge, attitudes and behaviors, social support, policy and environment, satisfaction and participation, and program effectiveness play an important role in the success of the intervention. Interventions range from training, consultation, skills development, to collaboration using personalized and interactive content, and development of tobacco-free content on social media.Conclusion: The use of non pharmacological interventions has the potential to create tobacco-free behaviors in adolescents. It is important to differentiate between interventions for adolescent smokers and non-smokers in order to tailor the intervention to the content to be delivered.

Abstract

In Indonesia, an estimated 14 million people or 6.1% of the population aged 15 years and over experience increased anxiety. The profile of adolescents in 2021, as many as 46 million adolescents in Indonesia or 17% of the total population of this country which is 270,203,917 people aged between 10 and 19 years. Self-efficacy concerns an individual's belief in their ability to carry out tasks or actions needed to achieve certain results. Low self-efficacy will cause anxiety, especially when facing exams. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self efficacy regarding magnitude, strength, and generality with anxiety in late adolescents approaching the final exam at SMAN Situraja. This study uses quantitative research methodology and Spearman rho correlational research design, with a sample of 80 respondents. The sampling technique used was Custer random sampling by applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, The data collection instrument used quantitative cross sectional with IBM SPSS Statistics. The results of this study stated that most adolescents have high self-efficacy with normal anxiety as many as 46 people (57.5%). Based on the statistical test, the significance value of self-efficacy with anxiety in late adolescents using Spearman rho produced a p value <0.1. How important it is to support teens in gaining self-efficacy so they can manage the stress of tests. This can involve giving pupils techniques to increase their self-confidence, fostering supportive situations, and giving them positive reinforcement. Supporting self-belief can play a significant role in fostering mental health and academic achievement.

Abstract

Transformasi remaja, baik fisik maupun mental, dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan dan dapat memicu perilaku negatif seperti kenakalan remaja dan risiko HIV/AIDS. Oleh karena itu, remaja memerlukan pendidikan kesehatan yang tepat guna untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang HIV/AIDS. Pendidikan kesehatan dapat memberikan dampak yang signifikan pada kesadaran dan pengetahuan remaja dalam menghadapi masalah kesehatan ini. Salah satu media yang digunakan dalam pendidikan kesehatan adalah Tiktok tetapi belum diketahui apakah berpengaruh kepada tingkat pengetahuan atau tidak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-test and Post-test One Group Design. Terdapat 104 sampel remaja akhir dari SMAN 3 Sumedang yang diperoleh dari teknik purposive sampling dan rumus Slovin untuk menentukan jumlah minimum sampel. Tindakan yang diberikan kepada sampel berupa pemberian video pendidikan kesehatan berupa video tiktok. Terdapat 104 sampel remaja akhir dari SMAN 3 Sumedang yang diperoleh dari teknik purposive sampling dan rumus Slovin untuk menentukan jumlah minimum sampel. Hampir seluruh responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan tinggi sebanyak 100 orang (96,2%) dalam hasil Pre-test. Lalu seluruhnya responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan tinggi sebanyak 104 (100%) dalam post-test setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa pendidikan kesehatan melalui media sosial tiktok. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa nilai p-value adalah <.001. sehingga p-value < 0.05 maka dapat diartikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan HIV/AIDS melalui video TikTok terhadap tingkat pengetahuan remaja akhir.

Abstract

Rokok sudah sangat dikenal oleh masyarakat tidak hanya di Indonesia namun juga di seluruh dunia. Meskipun upaya terus-menerus dilakukan untuk mempublikasikan dampak buruk dan bahaya merokok terhadap kesehatan banyak orang, masih banyak orang yang mengalami kecanduan rokok bahkan jumlah perokok baru pun semakin meningkat. Kenyataannya di masyarakat tidak hanya orang dewasa saja yang merokok, namun banyak juga anak  di bawah umur  yang  merokok padahal secara biologis mereka masih anak-anak, tubuhnya belum matang sempurna. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui upaya peningkatan pengetahuan keluarga terhadap bahaya rokok bagi kesehatan dengan pendidikan kesehatan di masyarakat Desa Mekarjaya Kecamatan Sumedang Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang berbentuk pengolahan angka atau bilangan atau data numerik, dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang dimasukkan untuk memperoleh informasi peningkatan pengetahuan keluarga dengan pendidikan kesehatan di Desa Mekarjaya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh keluarga dari 10 Rw Desa Mekarjaya. Sampel dalam  penelitian ini ditarik secara proporsional yaitu berdasarkan metode proportional stratified random sampling sehingga setiap keluarga memiliki kesempatan yang sama menjadi sampel penelitian (responden). Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dan penkes. Pada tingkat pengetahuan dapat diukur menggunakan kuesioner pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan responden terhadap bahaya rokok bagi kesehatan dengan pendidikan kesehatan sebelum dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan (pre-test) berada pada kategori kurang yaitu sebanyak  (58.8%) dan pengetahuan responden tentang bahaya rokok bagi kesehatan dengan pendidikan kesehatan sesudah dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan (post-test) berada pada kategori baik yaitu sebanyak  (73.5%).

Abstract

Gastritis merupakan suatu penyakit yang berhubungan dengan proses terjadinya pencernaan pada lambung yang disebabkan oleh pola makan dan gaya hidup yang tidak sehat dan tidak teratur. Tujuan kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan derajat kesehatan terhadap penyakit maag. Kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan dilakukan pada tanggal 3 Mei 2024 di SMAN 2 Cimalaka Kabupaten Sumedang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan pre eksperimen yaitu one group pretest-posttest design yang dilakukan menggunakan metode ceramah umum, dengan media presentasi power point dan e-leaflet dengan jumlah responden 32 siswa dengan responden laki-laki 8 orang dan responden perempuan 24 orang . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prevalensi penyakit gastritis pada siswa sebanyak 24 orang pernah menderita penyakit gastritis dengan persentase 75% dan 8 siswa tidak pernah mengalami penyakit gastritis dengan persentase 25%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan pengetahuan siswa sebelum dan sesudah pendidikan kesehatan mengenai penyakit maag. Siswa yang berpengetahuan kurang baik menurun dari 46,9% menjadi 18,8%, sedangkan siswa yang berpengetahuan baik meningkat dari 53,1% menjadi 81,2%. Berdasarkan hasil analisa data menggunakan uji Mc Nemar hasil nilai p=0,004 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan siswa SMAN 2 Cimalaka dalam pencegahan dan penanganan penyakit gastritis. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh (nilai p 0,004) pendidikan kesehatan penyakit gastritis terhadap pengetahuan pencegahan dan penanganan penyakit gastritis pada siswa di SMAN 2 Cimalaka.

Abstract

Anemia adalah penyakit medis yang ditandai dengan kekurangan jumlah sel darah merah atau kadar hemoglobin (Hb) dalam darah yang berada di bawah standar norma untuk kelompok umur dan jenis kelamin tertentu. Anemia sering terjadi pada wanita muda. Setelah dilakukan penelitian pendahuluan di MAN 1 Sumedang, ditemukan bahwa anemia gizi terjadi pada lebih dari 50% siswa kelas 11 sekolah tersebut. Ketidaktahuan pelajar mengenai penyebab anemia gizi dan strategi pencegahannya menjadi salah satu penyebab tingginya prevalensi kejadian anemia gizi. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif, yaitu dengan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner pre-post test untuk diberikan kepada siswa dengan tujuan mengetahui pengetahuan siswa mengenai anemia gizi sebelum dan sesudah diberikannya pendidikan kesehatan. Hasil kegiatan penyuluhan kesehatan dapat disimpulkan bahwa seluruh sasaran mengikuti kegiatan dari awal sampai akhir dengan feedback yang sangat baik dari peserta. Tidak ada teks yang diberikan. Temuan pra-tes dan pasca-tes menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 33% dalam pengetahuan siswa dan siswi tentang anemia. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan diketahui bahwa siswa dan siswi memiliki pengetahuan dengan tingkat cukup baik tentang anemia gizi.
