Abstract

Piroxicam is antiinflammatory non-steroidal (AINS) drug group that has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects. Like most other AINS drugs, piroxicam has low solubility and has gastrointestinal (ulcerogenic) side effects on long-term use. The nano-emulsifying drug delivery system (SNEDDS) is one of the technologies that can be used to overcome it. This study aims to determine the effect of ulcerogenic SNEDDS piroxicam compared with piroxicam formulas instead of SNEDDS. This study uses white rats male strain SD age 2-3 months and weight 100-200 grams of 40 rats. Rats divided into 5 groups. Group I was a normal control group, the test animals were given only water. Group II was a suspending control group treated with a 1% polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) solution, group III is a carrier control group treated with SNEDDS carrier which is a mixture of tween 80, virgin coconut oil (VCO) and polyethylene glycol (PEG) 400, group IV was a group of piroxicam drugs suspended with piroxicam 1.08 mg/kg in 1% PVP, group V was treated with SNEDDS piroxicam.Treatment was done for 28 days. After treatment, the gastric of rats were taken to be observed for ulcerogenic effects. Observations were made macroscopically by looking at ulcer scores followed by histopathological observations of tissue. The ulcer score data from each group were analyzed using one-way ANOVAand LSD test. The results showed that the normal control group, 1% PVP suspension and carrier group had a ulcer index of 0.0, 0.0 and 0.0, while the piroxicam suspension group and the SNEDDS group had an ulcer index of 0.88 and 0.0. These results were confirmed by histopathologic results of SNEDDS piroxicam to decrease the effect of pyroxicam ulcerogenic with results in the piroxicam suspension group has ulcer with necrosis by neutrophil infiltration, lymphocytes and mast cells in the mucosal tunica to submucosa. In the SNEDDS piroxicam group there is erosion with necrosis of the mucosal tunica epithelium with infiltration of lymphocytes and mast cells in submucosal tunica. It can be concluded the SNEDDS piroxicam can decrease the ulcerogenic effect.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu mensosialisakan prodi pendidikan fisika FKIP Unipa dan melakukan pameran media pembelajaran fisika berbasis TIK. Instrumen dalam kegiatan ini merupakan angket respon peserta didik yang dibagikan setelah kegiatan berakhir. Angket dibagikan secara online menggunakan google form. Jumlah peserta didik yang hadir sebanyak 70 orang ditambah dengan guru pendamping 7 orang. Jadi Total peserta didik mengikuti kegiatan ini sebanyak 77 orang. Peserta didik yang mengisi angket berjumlah 48 orang. Kegiatan Sosialisasi Profil FKIP dan Pengabdian Kepada Masayarakat di SMA N 1 Warmare Manokwari telah berjalan dengan tertib, lancar dan respon kepuasan peserta didik rata-rata memberikan respon puas dengan kegiatan yang telah dilakukan oleh Prodi Pendidikan Fisika FKIP UNIPA.  Kata kunci: Sosialisasi, Berbasis TIK

Abstract

Lack of exact use of teaching materials and does not correspond to the needs of student leads to lack of analytical ability of students to the process of problem solving. Research development worksheets based on Polya problem solving on the heat material aims to develop valid LKPD, practical, and effective. Stages of development using the 4D model was modified into 3D, namely define (definition), Design (planning), and Development (development) The results of the validity of the learning device in the category valid, obtained from the calculation of CVI are in the range 0-1 and said in category reliably with r11 value greater than rtabel (rcount > rtabel). The results of the analysis of questionnaire responses of students obtained an average percentage of 87.9% on the analysis. The analysis result of sheets assessment of learning physics used LKPD-based Polya problem solving obtained average percentage analysis results in the first meeting is 77.33% with good category, the average percentage of the results of the analysis at the second meeting is 81.11% with a very good category and average of results percentage analysis at the third meeting is 78.89% with good category. So it can say that LKPD-based Polya problem solving developed valid, practical and effective to use.

Abstract

General Physics is one of the compulsory subjects not only for the Physics Education program but also for others including the Biology Education program. General Physics encompasses a wide range of materials that require a practicum. Unfortunately, not all laboratories could facilitate and had supporting tools for such practicum activities. It was believed that simple props can be used in learning activities especially to explain the concept of subject matter found in everyday life. This study aimed to determine the quality of General Physics learning by using simple media of learning in the Biology Education program, University of Papua. The research was conducted through the stages of Lesson Study activities namely Preparation Phase (Plan), Implementation (Do), and Reflection (See) in each cycle. The data was obtained through observation and video recordings during the learning activities. The results show that the quality of learning including the activities, cooperation, and mastery of the subject matter by the students are increasing in each cycle.

Abstract

Penyalahgunaan narkoba pada akhir tahun ini dirasakan semakin meningkat. Angka penyalahgunaan narkoba di Indonesia mencapai kurang lebih 5 juta jiwa, sedangkan di Yogyakarta sudah mencapai 60.182 jiwa pada tahun 2014. Penyalahhgunaan narkoba menjangkiti semua lapisan masyarakat, tidak terkecuali siswa sekolah. Hal ini terjadi biasanya terjadi karena penawaran, bujukan, atau tekanan seseorang atau sekelompok orang kepadanya. Didorong rasa ingin tahu, ingin mencoba, atau ingin memakai, siswa mau menerima tawaran tersebut, yang selanjutnya tidak sulit baginya untuk menerima tawaran berikutnya. Program pengabdian ini merupakan bagian dari Iptek bagi Masyarakat (IbM) dengan tema Swamedikasi Teman Sebaya, bertujuan melatih siswa SMA untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengenal bahaya penyalahgunaan narkoba dan miras di kalangan teman sebaya. Metoda pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan pendidikan masyarakat melalui penyuluhan, pelatihan dan focus group discussion (FGD). Pelatihan diselenggarakan bekerja sama dengan Badan Narkotika Nasional Provinsi DIY. Masyarakat sasaran tanggal 24-25 juli 2017, bertempat di Ruang Multi Media SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta. Tingkat partisipasi peserta 100% dan tingkat kemampuan penguasaan peserta terhadap materi pembelajaran bahaya narkoba meningkat setelah dilakukan pelatihan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kualitas butir soal fisika dengan menggunakan Model Rasch yang ditinjau berdasarkan tingkat validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda dan efektivitas pengecoh soal pada Penilaian Akhir Semester Gasal kelas X IPA SMA YPK Oikoumene Manokwari tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif yakni evaluasi hasil belajar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, dengan sampel sebanyak 28 peserta didik dari kelas X IPA 1-X IPA 3. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada soal pilihan ganda yang terdiri dari 15 soal. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa 1) berdasarkan tingkat validitasnya, 8 butir soal (60%) yang valid dan 7 butir soal (40%) yang tidak valid. 2) Berdasarkan reliabilitasnya, soal tersebut reliabel karena mempunyai nilai pada butir soal sebesar 0,01 berkriteria lemah, sedangkan untuk reliabilitas antara peserta didik dengan butir soal sebesar 0,94 yang berkriteria bagus sekali. 3) Berdasarkan tingkat kesukaran soalnya, masuk dalam kriteria kurang baik dengan jumlah 6 butir soal (40%) didominasi oleh soal yang mudah. 4) Berdasarkan daya pembeda soalnya, masuk dalam kriteria cukup dengan jumlah 12 soal (80%). 5) Berdasarkan efektivitas pengecoh soalnya, masuk dalam kriteria baik karena terdapat 8 butir soal (60%) dengan option pengecohnya berfungsi dengan baik. Kesimpulannya bahwa analisis kualitas butir soal menggunakan Model Rasch pada penilaian akhir semester gasal dapat dinyatakan valid, reliabel, tingkat kesukaran soal kurang baik, daya pembeda soal cukup dan efektivitas pengecoh soalnya baik.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an e-module assisted by Canva HOTS-oriented material on momentum and impulse into a valid, practical and effective e-module. Based on validation results by 3 HOTS-based e-module experts, the momentum and impulse material developed with the help of Canva is very valid with a validity level of . Based on the researcher's research on student responses when the e-module has been implemented, the practicality questionnaire data is at an interval of 87.88% so that the criteria for the practicality of the e-module are very practical. From the e-module effectiveness test based on questionnaire data, effectiveness is at an achievement level of 81.18%, so that the e-module effectiveness qualification based on the questionnaire is good or effective, and based on analysis of student completion data, the percentage of student completion is 94%, so that the e-module can said to be effective. From the results of the overall analysis of the data that the researchers obtained, it can be concluded that the HOTS-based e-module on momentum and impulse material developed with the help of Canva is very valid, very practical and effective.

Abstract

Bawang dayak (Eleutherine bulbosa (Mill.) Urb) merupakan bahan alami berupa serbuk kering yang diperoleh dari umbi tanaman ini. Standardisasi sangat penting untuk memastikan konsistensi kualitas, keamanan, dan kemanjuran bagi konsumen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi mutu bawang dayak yang diperoleh dari kota Sintang, Kalimantan Barat berdasarkan uji parameter spesifik dan non spesifik. Pengujian dilakukan dengan mengukur parameter non spesifik dan parameter spesifik. Hasil uji parameter non spesifik menunjukkan bahwa Simplisia memiliki kadar air sebesar 9,10%, kadar abu total 0,57%, dan kadar sari larut etanol 5,46%, menunjukkan stabilitas dan kemurnian yang baik. Uji parameter spesifik menunjukkan bahwa kandungan flavonoid total adalah 3,57 mg QE/g dan kandungan fenolik total adalah 2,05 mg GAE/g, yang menunjukkan potensi kapasitas antioksidan dan aktivitas farmakologis. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa umbi bawang dayak memenuhi standar mutu berdasarkan uji parameter spesifik dan non spesifik, layak digunakan sebagai bahan baku obat herbal. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaannya dalam formulasi farmasi.

Abstract

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a severe neurodegenerative disorder, that causes progressive motor issues from the loss of dopamine-producing neurons in the substantia nigra pars compacta (SNpc). Purple yam (Dioscorea alata), rich in anthocyanins, shows promise as a natural antioxidant and neuroprotectant. This study investigated the antiparkinsonian effects of D. alata extract on dopamine levels and brain microscopic features in a haloperidol-induced PD mouse model. Thirty-five male mice were randomly allocated into seven groups: normal (CMC-Na and aqua pro injection), haloperidol-induced negative control (CMC-Na), positive control (levodopa 39 mg/kgBW), curcumin (200 mg/kgBW), and D. alata extract-treated groups (100, 200, and 400 mg/kgBW). Treatments were administered daily for seven days. On day 8, all groups, except the normal control, received an intraperitoneal injection of haloperidol (2 mg/kgBW) to induce Parkinsonism. Three hours post-haloperidol injection, dopamine levels were measured from orbital vein blood. Subsequently, brains were harvested for histological examination of the SNpc using Toluidine blue staining. Data were statistically analyzed using one-way ANOVA followed by LSD post-hoc tests. The 400 mg/kgBW dose of D. alata extracts significantly increased dopamine levels (p<0.05) compared to the negative control group. Microscopic analysis of the SNpc in mice treated with 400 mg/kgBW extract revealed preserved, dark, and solid neuronal morphology, with significantly higher scoring results (p<0.05) when compared to the levodopa-treated group. These findings suggest that D. alata extract, particularly at a dose of 400 mg/kgBW, exhibits potential antiparkinsonian activity by elevating dopamine levels and mitigating dopaminergic neuronal damage in a haloperidol-induced PD mouse model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and measuring the differences of the cognitive learning and activity on learners using direct instruction and cooperative TPS type in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Sorong. This research is Quasi-experimental research which used The Matching Only Posttest Control Group Design. This study occur on two classes; XI IPA 1 as an experimental class and class XI IPA 2 as the control class. The results shows that the average cognitive achievement test at 78,82 and the average activity 88,66, while the control class 70,59 and the average activity 84,21. It shows the results of learning and activity using TPS type of cooperative learning more effective. The results of data processing using independent sample t-test, with significance level α = 5% obtained t = 2,396. Value ttabel =1,694 so thitung> ttabel which means H0 rejected, so there are significant differences of cognitive achievement between control and experimental class.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengukur perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif dan aktivitas peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran direct instruction dan kooperatif tipe TPS di kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Kabupaten Sorong. Penelitian kuasi eksperimen ini menggunakan The Matching Only Posttest Control Group Design. Penelitian ini sebanyak dua kelas yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata tes hasil belajar kognitif kelas eksperimen sebesar 78,82 dan rata-rata aktivitas peserta didik 88,66, sedangkan kelas kontrol 70,59 dan rata-rata aktivitas peserta didik 84,21. Hal ini menunjukan hasil belajar dan aktivitas dengan menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS lebih efektif. Hasil pengolahan data menggunakan Independent Sample t-test dengan taraf signifikan α = 5% diperoleh thitung = 2,396. Nilai ttabel=1,694 sehingga thitung > ttabel yang berarti H0 ditolak sehingga terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar kognitif antara kelas kontrol dengan eksperimen.
