Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how Capital Structure, Investment Decisions, and Dividend Policy affect the value of LQ-45 firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2018 and 2022. A quantitative methodology is employed, utilizing documented evidence from literature, research publications from the past, and firm financial records. Purposive sampling was used to choose the sample. The study's findings demonstrate that, either in part or all at once, Capital Structure, Investment Decisions, and Dividend Policy do not significantly affect a company's value. External variables that have a greater influence on investor views, such as global market dynamics, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic conditions, might be the reason for this insignificance. The traditional financial theory tenet that capital structure, investment choices, and dividend policy affect business value is called into question by this study. Practically speaking, in an attempt to boost firm value, management is encouraged to take into account additional elements including market strategy, operational performance, and innovation. A more thorough and in-depth investigation is required to determine the actual determinants of firm value.

Abstract

In Indonesia, especially among people who actively use technology, including academics, the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) has developed significantly to assist digital transactions. Using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework, this study aims to study the factors that influence the use of QRIS among academics. The two main variables prioritized by TAM are perceptions of the usefulness of QRIS and ease of use, each of which is considered to have a significant influence on technology acceptance. This study utilized a survey method to collect data from university students who use QRIS as an official payment method. The results showed that the usefulness and ease of use of QRIS have a significant influence on the amount used in the academic community. In addition, it has been shown that additional reasons, such as perceived security and ease of use of QRIS technology, greatly influence the decision to use it. According to data analysis, perceptions of the benefits of QRIS in facilitating transactions and ease of use have a significant influence on increasing the frequency of use. These factors show how important TAM is to implementing QRIS in the world of education. The results of the study indicate that digital payment service managers must consider factors of convenience and better security. This will allow QRIS to become more popular in the academic world.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of leverage on the performance of non-financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2012 and 2021. The analysis is segmented into three subsets: all companies, Sharia-compliant firms, and non-Sharia-compliant firms. Leverage is gauged through four metrics: debt to total asset ratio (DAR), debt to total equity ratio (DER), short-term debt to total assets (STD), and long-term debt to total assets (LTD). Firm performance is evaluated using return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE), and Tobin's Q. The study employs a quantitative approach, utilizing data from publicly listed companies. Leverage and performance are quantified using the specified metrics. Statistical analyses, including regression models, are conducted to examine the relationship between leverage and performance in each of the three subsets. The primary findings indicate a negative and statistically significant correlation between leverage and firm performance, as measured by ROA and ROE, across all company subsets. However, there is a positive and statistically significant impact of leverage on Tobin's Q. A more detailed analysis within the Sharia-compliant subset reveals a negative impact of leverage on all leverage indicators concerning ROA and ROE. In contrast, within the non-Sharia-compliant subset, leverage has a negative and statistically significant influence on ROA and ROE, but a positive and statistically significant effect on Tobin's Q. These empirical findings suggest that leverage has a detrimental and statistically significant association with a firm's accounting performance, as evidenced by ROA and ROE. However, it exerts a positive and statistically significant effect on the firm's market performance, as indicated by Tobin's Q. This underscores the importance of carefully managing leverage, particularly for firms operating within the Indonesian non-financial sector, to strike a balance between accounting and market performance objectives.

Abstract

Empowering communities and educated groups through entrepreneurial programs are positively impacting the national economy. Vocational students frequently have specialised and practical abilities that they have developed through practical training. These skills can be directly applicable to various aspects of entrepreneurship, including product development, production, technical support, and more. This study aims to prove that the big five personality traits, entrepreneurial awareness, self-efficacy, and family financial socialization have contributed to entrepreneurial intention of students. 200 data were obtained from Indonesian vocational high school students, and processed with SEM-PLS. The result proved that awareness, self-efficacy, and some indicator of the big five personality has a positive affect on entrepreneurial intention among students. While family financial socialization has no impact on it. This study is a reference for schools and policy maker to provide education on entrepreneurship for vocational students. Understanding how different types of awareness (opportunities, resources, skills) influence intention can guide the development of targeted curriculum and training methods

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the significant positive effects of corporate social responsibility (CSR), the board of directors' size, and the board of commissioners' size on financial performance, as well as to assess whether institutional ownership functions as a moderating variable that strengthens the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The research utilizes secondary data derived from the annual reports and sustainability reports of mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2020–2023. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling method, and the data were analyzed using panel data regression with EViews software. The results indicate that CSR has a positive and significant influence on financial performance, while the board of directors' size does not show a significant effect. Conversely, the board of commissioners' size exerts a positive and significant impact on financial performance. Moreover, institutional ownership is found to moderate the relationship between CSR and financial performance, but does not moderate the relationship between the board of directors or board of commissioners and financial performance. Based on these findings, future research is encouraged to broaden the scope of industries and the length of the observation period, incorporate additional relevant variables, categorize institutional ownership, and explore alternative moderating variables.
