Abstract

Adolescent exposure to violent content on social media has emerged as a critical issue due to its potential impact on mental health and cyberpsychological well-being. This study aims to classify multiple cyberpsychological impacts experienced by adolescents as a result of exposure to violent content on social media using a multi-label machine learning approach. A quantitative method was employed using self-reported data collected from 550 Indonesian adolescents aged 12–18 years through an online questionnaire. Psychological impacts were measured using adapted instruments from the Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS-21) and cyberpsychology scales, then transformed into multi-label targets. Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Random Forest algorithms were implemented using a One-vs-Rest strategy. Model performance was evaluated using Hamming Loss, precision, recall, and Macro F1-score. The results indicate that SVM outperformed Random Forest with a Hamming Loss of 23.16% and a Macro F1-score of 0.42, particularly in predicting dominant labels such as anxiety and decreased self-confidence. However, both models showed limited performance in predicting minority labels such as depression and academic decline due to data imbalance. These findings highlight the importance of handling imbalanced data in cyberpsychology-based machine learning research and demonstrate the potential of multi-label classification in representing the complexity of psychological impacts of digital violence on adolescents.

Abstract

The preservation of local history in the digital era requires innovative and interesting media, especially for the younger generation. This study documents the process of designing and producing a 3D animated film entitled "The Origin of the City of Banjarmasin" using Blender software. The project development method includes four main stages: historical exploration, pre-production, production, and post-production. The project produced a short animated film consisting of four key scenes that represent the thematic narrative of Banjarmasin's history, starting from life in a river village to its evolution into a modern city. In production, a hybrid approach is used by combining manual 3D modeling and the utilization of asset templates from open source for efficiency. The results of this project show that Blender is an effective tool for creatively visualizing historical content. 3D animation has proven to have strong potential as an educational medium to revitalize and convey local cultural heritage visually, interactively, and attractively to the digital generation. Three-dimensional visualization allows audiences to experience the historical atmosphere more deeply than conventional media, while opening up more engaging and memorable learning opportunities.

Abstract

The high variability of rainfall in tropical climates presents a major challenge for agricultural management, as weather uncertainty often leads to inefficient fertilization practices due to nutrient loss. This study aims to develop a robust framework for rainfall prediction, which can inform a flexible and precise crop nutrient scheduling system. Utilizing an hourly rainfall dataset (n=6,624) obtained from IoT sensors, the research proposes an approach that integrates Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA) for signal decomposition and noise reduction with Gradient Boosting algorithms (LightGBM and XGBoost). Spline interpolation was employed to handle missing data, while SSA served to disentangle deterministic trends from random noise, enabling the models to perform more effectively on the refined dataset. Empirical evaluation demonstrates that the SSA-XGBoost hybrid model achieves superior performance, with an RMSE of 0.0057 and an R² of 0.8278, significantly outperforming the SSA-LightGBM model (R² 0.2879), which struggled to capture non-linear patterns within this dataset. The high predictive accuracy of the SSA-XGBoost model facilitates the implementation of responsive nutrient management strategies, wherein fertilizer application can be deferred during forecasted periods of high rainfall to prevent runoff and environmental pollution. This research contributes to the field of hydroinformatics by demonstrating the effectiveness of combining SSA and XGBoost as a cost-efficient yet high-performance solution for mitigating climate-related risks in tropical wetland agriculture.

Abstract

Abstract

This community service (PKM) activity aims to improve students' online communication ethics through the utilization of digital technology. Conducted at SMKS 1 Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin on January 23, 2026, the activity involved 25 students as participants. The method applied was an educative-participatory approach integrating Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) theory and digital literacy framework, implemented through interactive presentations, Digital Escape Room simulations, case studies, and pre-test/post-test instruments. Data reveal that 97% of Indonesian students aged 13–18 access the internet daily (APJII, 2024), yet 45% have experienced cyberbullying and 62% share information without prior verification (UNICEF, 2023). Results showed significant improvement in students' understanding of online communication ethics across all measured dimensions, including digital netiquette, hoax identification, privacy awareness, and responsible use of digital media. Students demonstrated high enthusiasm through active discussion participation. This program is expected to contribute to the formation of an ethical digital communication culture in the school environment and serve as a model for sustainable digital literacy education.

Abstract

The acceleration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology development brings major transformations in various aspects of life, including the elementary education sector. However, a wise and targeted understanding and utilization of AI among elementary school students is still very minimal, where digital technology is more often associated with entertainment media or online games. This Community Service activity aims to educate and improve the digital literacy of 5th and 6th-grade students at SDN Kebun Bunga 6 Banjarmasin through an interactive and fun introduction to basic AI concepts under the theme "Getting to Know AI: Smart Robots as Human Companions." The implemented implementation method includes the preparation stage (coordination and module preparation), the implementation stage (pre-test, interactive material presentation, practical demonstration of prompt engineering using Google Gemini, and a critical discussion session), and the evaluation stage (post-test). Quantitative evaluation results show a significant increase in students' understanding, where the average pre-test score of 45.67 increased to 88.33 in the post-test. In addition, students demonstrated high critical thinking skills during the question-and-answer session and were able to practice creating learning prompts independently. The outputs of this activity are an increase in students' digital literacy, a Guidebook for Using AI Wisely for Elementary School Students, and a scientific publication that supports the readiness of the younger generation to face the digital era.
