Abstract

Shrimp shells are not just waste but has many health and economic benefits. Shrimp is a marine product that is widely produced in Dusun Sembilang Banyuasin, but the people there do not know yet how to utilize and manage shrimp waste so that shrimp shells only become waste, pollute the environment and can cause disease. Therefore, it is necessary to transfer information regarding the utilization of shrimp shell waste. The method used in this community service is to provide training in the utilization of shrimp shell waste into flavorings and crackers with a target of 25 mothers. The purpose of this activity is so that shrimp shell waste can become a product that can be sold and become income for families so that it can increase family food security. This activity was part of the Kedaireka activity with partner PT Pertamina RU III which was carried out in July 2024 in Dusun Sembilang Banyuasin. The results of this activity were that the mothers were very enthusiastic in practicing making shrimp shells into flavorings and crackers. The flavoring from shrimp shells and shrimp shell crackers have a savory taste. Evaluation of this activity requires applied technology in drying shrimp skin and crackers because conventional drying (with the sun) is very dependent on the weather.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan anak di bawah usia 5 tahun yang berdampak pada peningkatan morbiditas dan mortalitas, keterlambatan perkembangan motorik dan kognitif, serta keterlambatan perkembangan otak. Fakta dilapangan mengatakan bahwasanya sebagian orang tua masih sulit untuk memilah, mencerna dan menyimpulkan serta memahami informasi kesehatan dan banyaknya isu-isu dan mitos yang berkembang.  Maka perlu dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa edukasi gizi dan kesehatan. Peserta yang menghadiri kegiatan edukasi sebanyak 34 orang. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masayarakat dilaksanakan dengan penyuluhan menggunakan metode pemberian kuesioner sebelum dan sesudahnya sebagai pendekatan evaluasi. Pada penyuluhan materi pencegahan masalah gizi sejak dini berhasil meningkatkan rata – rata skor pengetahuan ibu balita dari 4,49 menjadi 5,03 dan pada materi kesehatan gigi dan mulut terjadi penurunan dari 10.97 menjadi 10.00. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan kegiatan edukasi yang diberikan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu balita terkait gizi dan tidak pada kesehatan gigi dan mulut.

Abstract

The role of cadres in Posyandu activities is vital to detect growth and development problems in children under five in their environment. Technology that is developing over time makes it possible for several health services including recording the results of posyandu activities which are made in the form of an Android-based application. The aim of this study was to analyze differences in knowledge before and after being given the MAGENTA application training intervention. This research was conducted in October 2023 at the Kenten Palembang Community Health Center involving 34 posyandu cadres. Data analysis was carried out on the results of the trial evaluation which began with a normality test, and continued with a difference test on the results of the pre-test and post-test assessments. The MAGENTA application is an alternative form of guidance for posyandu cadres in monitoring child growth and providing nutrition education to mothers of toddlers during posyandu activities. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant difference in knowledge between before and after training in using the MAGENTA application regarding calculating and inferring nutritional status, and health promotion regarding attitudes towards the nutritional status of toddlers. There was a significant increase in cadre knowledge before and after the training.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh green finance, kinerja keuangan, dan kinerja lingkungan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan  pada sektor Consumer Non-Cyclicals yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2021-2023. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan menentukan kriteria tertentu yang mengahsilkan 19 perusahaan sebagai sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan pengujian hipotesis Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan didukung oleh metode analisis Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa green finance dan kinerja keuangan berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan kinerja lingkungan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of inflation and interest rates on global stock market index performance, with the moderating role of the Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) across five countries representing different continents: the United States, the United Kingdom, China, South Africa, and Australia. These countries were selected for their distinct economic policies and significant contributions to the global economy. Using the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) method and 2,400 monthly data observations spanning 2014 to 2023, sourced from official institutions such as central banks and financial agencies, this research provides key insights. The findings reveal that inflation positively influences index performance in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, while it negatively impacts performance in China. Interest rates predominantly have a negative effect on index performance, except in the United Kingdom and China, where the effect is statistically insignificant. The moderation effect of the CCI varies by country, highlighting the role of unique economic contexts in shaping the relationship between inflation, interest rates, and stock market indices. This study offers valuable implications for policymakers in managing inflation and bolstering consumer confidence and provides strategic insights for investors navigating global economic dynamics.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengaruh Profitabilitas sebagai Variabel Intervening Pertumbuhan Penjualan terhadap Struktur Modal. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh langsung dan pengaruh tidak langsung pertumbuhan penjualan terhadap struktur modal melalui profitabilitas sebagai variabel pemediasi. Metode pengujian yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah pemodelan persamaan struktural dengan program SmartPLS 3.3.0. Sampel yang digunakan di penelitian ini yaitu laporan tahunan perusahaan yang tersedia di Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) tahun 2018-2020. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, melalui cara itu dihasilkan sampel sebesar 50 perusahaan.  Sales growth ratio digunakan sebagai indikator pengukuran tingkat pertumbuhan penjualan, debt to equity ratio sebagai indikator pengukur struktur modal dan profitabilitas sebagai pemediasi diukur dengan return on asset. Setelah dilakukan analisis, hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa pertumbuhan penjualan berpengaruh negatif dan  tidak signifikan terhadap struktur modal, pertumbuhan penjualan berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap profitabilitas, profitabilitas berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap struktur modal serta profitabilitas tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh pertumbuhan penjualan terhadap struktur modal.Kata Kunci: Pertumbuhan penjualan, Struktur Modal, ProfitabilitasAbstract: The Influence of Profitability as an Intervening Variable Sales Growth on the Capital Structure. The study is intended to examine and analyze the direct and indirect effect of sales growth on capital structure through profitability as a mediating variable.  The test method used in this research is structural equation modeling with the SmartPLS 3.3.0 program. The sample used in this study is the annual report available on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2018-2020. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, through which a sample of 50 companies is generated.  Sales growth ratio is used as an indicator to measure sales growth rate, debt to equity ratio as an indicator to measure capital structure and profitability as a mediator is measured by return on assets. After the analysis, the research results prove that sales growth has a negative and insignificant effect on capital structure, sales growth has a positive and insignificant effect on profitability, profitability has a negative and significant effect on capital structure and profitability is not able to mediate the effect of sales growth on capital structure.Keywords: Sales growth, Capital Structure, Profitability

Abstract

This research aims to explore the impact of digital transformation in the Islamic finance sector, discussing the opportunities and challenges that arise with the adoption of digital technologies. The study utilizes a qualitative method with literature review approach. Digital transformation includes the implementation of innovations such as financial technology (fintech), blockchain, and artificial intelligence within the context of Sharia-compliant finance. The results of the discussion present a comprehensive overview of how digitization affects Islamic financial products and services, considering the potential for increased operational efficiency, financial inclusivity, and more effective adherence to Islamic financial principles. Meanwhile, challenges such as data security, regulations, and market acceptance are also outlined, emphasizing the efforts required to optimize the benefits of digital transformation in the realm of Islamic finance.

Abstract

Welfare of the people is a goal of every region, including Central Kalimantan, North Kalimantan and East Kalimantan. Welfare of the people measured using Human Development Index (HDI). There are many factors that influence welfare of the people. This purpose of study to analyze the effect of unemployment and inflation on welfare of the people with economic growth as an intervening. The research method used quantitative wita data from the Central Bureau of Statistics and Path analysis as an analytical technique. The results of study unemployment has a positive significant effect on welfare of the people, while inflation has a negative significant effect and economic growth has no significant effect. Unemployment has a negative significant effect on ecomic growth, while inflation has a positive significant. And economic growth cannot be an intervening variable. So to improve the welfare of the people it is necessary to play the role of governments in each province to really focus on allocating funds for health, education, employment expansion programs, skills improvement and effective and efficient poverty alleviation programs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the challenges and opportunities of share waqf in Indonesia. This study is a review of the literature that draws on a variety of earlier investigations and is bolstered by information from studies that have been disseminated through journals and other scholarly publications from various universities. Researchers employed qualitative descriptive analysis to examine and evaluate the gathered data. The research's findings demonstrate Indonesia's enormous potential for share waqf, which is partly explained by the country's sizable Muslim population. Additionally, there are maslahah in its application that serve as markers of maqashid sharia. However, there are a number of challenges with its implementation, including illiteracy and a lack of knowledge of share waqf. Aside from that, most people still think that fixed assets are the sole way to be able to grant waqf. As a result, share waqf socialization for both the general public and nadzir parties is necessary. Additionally, there has to be more thorough communication and cooperation about share waqf between regulators and participants in the sharia capital market.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between inflation, unemployment rate, poverty rate and economic growth in East Java province. The introductory chapter focuses on the economic challenges of developing countries, particularly those related to poverty, inflation, and economic growth. The research method uses a descriptive quantitative approach with hypothesis testing using t-values. Data for his seven cities/districts in East Java province were collected by the Central Bureau of Statistics from 2012 to 2022. The results of classical assumption testing indicate that the data are normally distributed, with no multicollinearity, autocorrelation, or heteroscedasticity. The results of the hypothetical analysis show that inflation has no significant impact on poverty, but unemployment has a significant negative impact. Inflation does not have a direct impact on economic growth, but unemployment rate has a negative impact on economic growth. Poverty level does not have a significant impact on economic growth. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of controlling the unemployment rate to reduce poverty and improve economic growth in East Java. Although inflation does not have a direct impact on economic growth, its stability is still important. Suggestions for further research include considering additional variables and gaining a deeper understanding of regional economic dynamics.
