Abstract

Farmers in West Muna Regency firmly believed that the good production of purple sweet potatoes has been related to well-known local wisdom called Kasalasa. The goal of agricultural development is also determined by the quality of human farmers as development actors. The quality of farmers is related to the characteristics of farmers. The objective of the study was to find out the characteristics of purple sweet potato farmers in West Muna Regency and to describe the procession of Kasalasa tradition practiced in West Muna Regency. The study was conducted in Lalemba Village, Lawa Sub-District and Wulanga Jaya Village, Tiworo Sub-District. Locations were selected by the purposive method. Determination of respondents was done by quota sampling, which was 15 people per village, so the number of respondents was 30 people. This research is survey research that uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. Purple sweet potato farmers in West Muna Regency have an average productive age (45.64 years). The level of education pursued by purple sweet potato farmers is the junior secondary level, which is 66.7 percent. The land is used by farmers for purple sweet potato cultivation is mostly in the range of 0.20 - 0.47 ha, 56.7 percent. The number of family dependents, ranging from 4-6 people or reaching 70 percent. Most purple sweet potato farmers are local of the MunanessEtnic, about 56.7 percent. The orientation of purple sweet potato farmers is still divided into two groups, the first group is commercial orientation, as much 50 percent and the second group is subsistence orientation, as much 50 percent. Kalasa tradition was still practiced by the farmers in West Muna Regency, and such tradition gave motivation and belief to the farmers that the purple sweet potatoes would be free from any kinds of pests and diseases, ghost disruption, and other farmers and human distraction.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze margins and efficiencies for each marketing agency. This research was conducted in Wonua Sangia Village, Landono District, South Konawe Regency. This study was conducted from June 2021 to March 2022. Thes objects in the study were patchouli farmers in Wonua Sangia village of Landono Subdistrict and patchouli oil marketing agencies. The sample in this study was done by purposive sampling method for patchouli farmers and Snowball Sampling for fishing institutions. Their search was analyzed using margin analysis and marketing efficiency. This study showed two patchouli oil marketing channels in Wonua Sangia Village, Landono Subdistrict. Marketing channels (I), Farmers, Middlemen, Collecting Merchants, Wholesalers, and Consumers. Then Marketing channels (II), Farmers, Collecting Merchants, Wholesalers, and Consumers. Marketing channel II has the highest Farmer's Share value of 81%, with a total marketing margin of IDR97.000/kg. It is indicated to have the best marketing efficiency of a channel, 80%, with a total marketing margin of IDR110.000/kg. Both marketing channels have been efficient because the farmer's share value obtained>50%.

Abstract

As the priority forestry development programs in Indonesia in recent years, Social Forestry policies (SF) and Forest Management Units (FMU or KPH) still indicate low performance. The SF program in particular, is dependent on the role of the KPH as an institution in realizing its expected goals. Using the theory of bureaucratic politics, this article presents the implementation of the SF program under the KPH system and how both programs can mutually support or inhibit the development of the other. The research was conducted using policy content analysis in the implementation of SF and KPH programs by applying interview methods, questionnaires and field observations that are presented both qualitatively and descriptively. We find that the development of SF cannot be separated from the role of the KPH bureaucracy due to the absence of bureaucratic institutions at the site level. SF sites are located in KPH working areas and perform a central role in all aspects of SF management. However, SF programs are not clearly stated as one of the main tasks and functions of KPHs and the existence of KPH interests in realizing independence without special budget allocations for the development of SF are obstacles to its implementation. KPH also still face regulatory issues that have not fully supported KPH operations resulting in weak institutions and independence to governing hierarchies due to the strong influence of the bureaucracy at the central and provincial levels. On the other hand, the SF program is still perceived as a rival of KPHs in forest management areas and further suffer from rigid regulations that are difficult to apply, making it challenging for SF to support the objectives of KPH programming. Under these conditions, KPH tend to limit SF schemes, thus privileging specific different forestry partnership schemes that are anticipated to support the independence of the KPH.

Abstract

Abstrak. Ketahanan pangan merupakan konsep yang tidak hanya menjadikan faktor produksi sebagai variabel utama pencapaian, melainkan terdapat faktor ekonomi yang juga menjadi penentu. Sedangkan nilai ekonomi bukan hanya mencakup kontribusi pangan terhadap devisa negara akan tetapi juga perihal taraf ekonomi pelaku yaitu petani dan nelayan. Selama ini jika ditinjau dari aspek kontribusi maka terlihat ketimpangan yang besar antara besarnya nilai kontribusi pangan bagi ekonomi negara sedangkan para pelaku (petani dan nelayan) rata-rata berada dalam garis kemiskinan. Oleh karena itu aksi kolaborasi kemitraan kelompok masyarakat yang diusul oleh tim peneliti menggunakan pendekatan pemberdayaan pemanfaatan sumber daya alam dengan menjadikan pelaku sebagai titik prioritas eksekutor sehingga pemberdayaan dapat menambah daya produktifitas mitra. Adapun tujuan dari pengabdian ini yaitu; 1) Diversifikasi produk olahan mitra melalui pengolahan ikan sapu-sapu menjadi produk pangan berupa bakso, 2) Pembuatan pakan alternatif bernutrisi dari limbah kulit dan tulang ikan sapu-sapu, 3) Meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat pesisir danau Tempe melalui pemanfaatan sumber daya lokal. Penjabaran tujuan merupakan upaya dalam mewujudkan ketahanan pangan, menciptakan generasi cerdas melalui peningkatan konsumsi pangan bergizi dan menekan biaya produksi peternakan ayam melalui pemanfaatan bahan baku lokal. Kata Kunci: Ikan Sapu-sapu, Bakso, Tepung Ikan, Pellet

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis cerita pendek dan sebagai bentuk pengembangan diri. Pelatihan ini dijalankan dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan praktis. Para peserta pelatihan terdiri dari 30 siswa SMK 1 Wajo yang memiliki minat dan potensi dalam penulisan kreatif. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 86 persen peserta aktif terlibat dalam pelatihan penulisan cerpen, yang terlihat dari kemampuan kreatif mereka dalam menulis cerpen. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga berhasil menarik minat peserta pelatihan untuk membangun budaya literasi yang sehat, fleksibel, dan ramah. Harapannya, peserta dapat menerapkan apa yang telah mereka pelajari dalam kegiatan ini, yaitu memanfaatkan sumber daya di sekitar mereka sebagai sumber literasi. Proses dan hasil dari kegiatan ini bergantung pada tingkat kedisiplinan masing-masing individu. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian ini berlangsung dengan sukses dan tanpa hambatan.

Abstract

This study is descriptively qualitative and aims to analyze the ability of mathematical communication related to the motivation to study mathematics in class VIII D of SMP Negeri2 Campalagian. Of the 29 students who completed the diagnostic test, 6 showed high levels of mathematical communication skills, 9 showed moderate mathematical communication skills, and 12 showed low levels of mathematical communication skills. rice field. It was reduced from 29 students to 6 students, with talking subjects each covering the mathematical communication skills of low, middle and high level students. In this study, mathematical communication skills tests and interviews were used to obtain the desired results. The results of this study only met 3-4 indicators of mathematical communication, but intermediate level mathematical communication skills, the ability to connect jasmani mathematical ideas, students who failed to meet everyday events. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the role of the driving teacher in improving pedagogical competence at UPT SD Negeri 331 Tempe, Wajo Regency. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study focuses on observations and interviews with driving teachers and members of the learning community at the research location. The novelty of this study lies in the exploration of how collaboration in a learning community can strengthen teachers' pedagogical abilities and improve teaching effectiveness. The results of the study indicate that driving teachers not only act as facilitators, but also as motivators who influence other teachers to improve their pedagogical skills. Driving teachers are also able to create a more enjoyable and contextual learning atmosphere, according to students' needs. In conclusion, the presence of driving teachers and learning communities contributes significantly to improving pedagogical competence, which in turn improves the quality of learning in schools.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi peran guru penggerak dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik di UPT SD Negeri 331 Tempe, Kabupaten Wajo. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini memfokuskan pada observasi dan wawancara dengan guru penggerak dan anggota komunitas belajar di lokasi penelitian. Kebaruan dari penelitian ini terletak pada eksplorasi bagaimana kolaborasi dalam komunitas belajar dapat memperkuat kemampuan pedagogik guru dan meningkatkan efektivitas pengajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru penggerak tidak hanya berperan sebagai fasilitator, tetapi juga sebagai motivator yang mempengaruhi guru lain untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pedagogik mereka. Guru penggerak juga mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih menyenangkan dan kontekstual, sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Kesimpulannya, kehadiran guru penggerak dan komunitas belajar berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah.

The background of this study is that welfare is one of the conditions where a person can meet basic needs, food, shelter, and the ability to continue education and have additional jobs. For business actors, UMKM are businesses run by individuals, households, and small business entities. The purpose of this study is to find out how the role of UMKM in the welfare of the community is carried out in UMKM Omah Bawis Pak Ucil. This research is a field research using a qualitative descriptive approach, using data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data sources through interviews obtained through interviews with UMKM owners Omah Bawis and the community. While secondary data sources are obtained from relevant books and journals. The data analysis techniques used are data analysis techniques from Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. While the data validity technique used is triangulation of source and time. The location of this research used is the Omah Bawis Bontang UMKM Production House on June 3, 2023. The results of this study show that this is the role of UMKM in the Omah Bawis fisheries sector on community welfare. Viewed in terms of production which includes the provision and creation of something that is valuable and beneficial to society in the form of goods and services. The business, run by entrepreneur Omah Bawis Pak Ucil, aims to improve the family economy in the Bontang City community.

Abstract

Construction of the BJ Habibie Floating Mosque influences the volume and system of traffic movement, the existence of high efficiency has an impact on increased traffic flow and demands the provision of a road network. The aim of this research is to identify the performance of roads and intersections and also to determine the impact on traffic due to the construction of the BJ. Habibie Floating Mosque by using the MKJI 1997 analysis. The results showed that the heaviest traffic flow on the Mattirotasi road section occurred on Saturday at 16.00 until 17.00 WITA with a traffic volume of 220.1 pcu/hour, a v/c ratio of 0.11 and Level of Service A with average vehicle speed 28.77 km/hour. Massepe road section occurred on Sunday at 16.00 until 17.00 with a volume of 943.49 pcu/hour, a v/c ratio of 0.30 and Level of Service B with an average speed of 28.06 km/hour.

Abstract

Landono District has a potential area for developing a cattle breeding business, but cattle farming requires a considerable investment. The Budi Karya Farmers Group is one of the groups that conduct cattle farming in Landono District, South Konawe Regency. The research objective was to determine the feasibility of developing a cattle breeding business for members of the Budi Karya farmer group in Landono District, South Konawe Regency. Determination of the research location was carried out purposively with the consideration that in Landono District, there is a cattle business carried out by farmer groups. The number of respondents, namely all members of the Budi Karya farmer group, as many as 19 people and one of the officers from the livestock service who helped develop the cattle farming business in Landono District. Data analysis used feasibility and sensitivity analysis. The results of research on the development of a cattle farming business for members of the Budi Karya farmer group obtained an NPV value of Rp663.881.185, an NBCR value of 2,412, an IRR value of 35,97%, a PP value of 2 years four months, a production BEP of 2 heads and a BEP price of Rp389.153. The results of the sensitivity analysis of the cattle farming business of members of the Budi Karya farmer group to a 10% decrease in production and an increase in production costs of 10% meet the five eligibility assessment criteria so that the development of cattle farming business members of the Budi Karya farmer group is feasible to be cultivated or run.
