Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan makna simbolik seni pertunjukan arak-arakan dalam upacara adat kenduri bungah di Desa Bedingin Kecamatan Sambit Kabupaten Ponorogo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan bentuk dan makna simbolik. Sumber data dalam penelitian diperoleh dari person, paper, place. Person meliputi Marjuki selaku Kepala Desa, Prapno selaku sesepuh, dan Andi selaku seniman Desa. Paper yang digunakan adalah buku dan artikel ilmiah yang sudah teruji kredibilitasnya. Place yang digunakan penelitian adalah di Masjid Dusun Kambangrejo tempat pemberangkatan arak-arakan dan di lemah gemplah Desa Bedingin. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan mereduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validalitas data menggunakan dua teknik triangulasi, yaitu triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bentuk seni pertunjukan arak-arakan terdiri atas struktur dan elemen seni. Struktur pertunjukan arak-arakan secara berurutan diawali cucuk lampah, pembawa obor, gunungan, ambengan, dan pemain sholawat terbang. Elemen seni pertunjukannya adalah pelaku, gerak, tata rias dan busana, musik iringan, tempat pertunjukan, apresiator, dan penyelenggara. Makna seni pertunjukan dapat dilihat dari dua makna, yaitu makna diskursif dan presentatif. Makna diskursifnya adalah untuk bersih desa dan meminta keselamatan kepada sang pencipta dengan simbol besar arak-arakan dan kenduri. Makna presentatifnya adalah makna yang melekat di masing-masing elemen seni pertunjukan arak-arakan yaitu, simbol doa dan rasa syukur kepada sang pencipta agar menjadi desa yang kuat, dijauhkan dari mara bahaya dan selalu menjadi manusia yang berada di jalan kebenaran.   Kata kunci: Arak-arakan, Bentuk Seni Pertunjukan, Makna Simbolik.

Abstract

Analisis terhadap bentuk penyajian tari “Uling” pada Grebeg Suro Desa Sumbermujur Kecamatan Candipuro Kabupaten Lumajang ini mengangkat permasalahan mengenai bentuk penyajian tari “Uling”. Analisis ini bertujuan untuk melihat dan mendeskripsikan bentuk penyajian tari “Uling”. Analisis ini menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. yang menjadi analisa adalah tari “Uling” pada Grebeg Suro di Desa Sumbermujur. Metode pengumpulan data yang diterapkan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tari “Uling” mungkin merupakan tari inventif yang diciptakan pada tahun 2017 oleh seorang pencipta bernama Tutik Pusparini S.sn S.pd. Terdapat tujuh (tujuh) komponen penyajian, yaitu gerak, penunjang, Elemen-elemen yang mencakup pola lantai, tata busana, tata rias, tempat pertunjukan, dan alat peraga. Gerakan tari “Uling” terkesan dengan ikan sidat berukuran besar yang disakralkan masyarakat setempat, selain itu karena tempo. gerakannya, ada yang lambat, sedang atau cepat.

Abstract

The utilization of digital technology in the independent curriculum with a Project Based Learning model is considered highly beneficial in implementing learning in schools. One of the uses of technology is through the use of an Android application as a medium for learning the Tari Remo Putri Gaya Tawi dance. This research aims to develop Android application-based learning media in learning Remo Putri Gaya Tawi Dance at SMK. This research uses R&D (Research and Development) method with Thiagarajan 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). This research produces a definition in the form of the needs of teachers, students and the learning environment with an android application to support learning in the classroom and independent learning activities outside of school. The android design of the application in remo dance learning places interactive learning knowledge and skills of Tawi style princess remo dance based on 4 kinds of Tawi style princess remo movements and collaborates with project based learning syntax fosters student activity, interest, creativity and understanding so that mastery of the material both in practice and theory becomes very good i.e. 4.5, 4.7, and 4.8. Development obtained the form and the results of the  trial on the  teacher's response got an  average aspect of  79.65% got good criteria  with the aspect that obtained the highest percentage score was the content of the material of 82.14% which got very good criteria.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, many students are experiencing a cultural identity crisis, where they are more likely to appreciate foreign culture than local culture. This phenomenon can be seen among students of SMA Negeri 13 Surabaya, where students' interest in the archipelago's cultural activities tends to be low. This study aims to increase awareness of the archipelago's cultural identity among students of class XII 8 SMA Negeri 13 Surabaya through digital collage learning. The method used is a cultural arts learning approach with the theme of the archipelago which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The results showed that students were not only able to complete the task well, but also produce quality collage works. There was a significant increase in students' understanding of the culture of the archipelago, which was reflected in the average pre-test score of 58 to 82 in the post-test. Some students even published their work on social media, indicating an increase in cultural awareness. This research is expected to be a reference for other teachers in developing art and culture learning methods that are more interesting and relevant to modern technology. The conclusion of this research shows that digital collage learning is effective in improving students' understanding of Nusantara culture. Students show active involvement in the learning process, which can be seen from students' activeness in the learning process.

Abstract

The curriculum is a guideline for implementing learning in the world of education, both formal and non-formal education. Non-formal education has an important role as a complement to formal education. It’s for supporting, strengthening, and developing the learning process, especially in empowering the skills practice of children or students at the institution. An example of non-formal education is a training institution which in the arts field can be called an art studio. Moreover, Banyuwangi is known for its diverse cultures and preservation of traditional arts, one of which is through optimizing art studios, which in this research analyzes the Sayu Wiwit art studio. This research aims to describe and analyze more deeply the planning and implementation of the dance learning curriculum at the Sayu Wiwit art studio. The methods used in collecting data are observation, interviews, and documentation. Analyze the data by reducing, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the dance learning curriculum at the Sayu Wiwit art studio is complex, from the planning to implementation stages. At the planning stage, there are objectives, curriculum content, learning activities, learning resources, and learning evaluation. As for the implementation stage, it is also complete, starting from various types of learning methods, arranging training schedules, management, various studio activity programs, and communication with student parents, to complete facilities and infrastructure owned by the Sayu Wiwit Banyuwangi art studio

Abstract

School culture is a complex concept. Generally, culture can be defined as a way of life that develops within a community and is passed down from generation to generation. School culture encompasses various elements such as language, religion, customs, arts, and social norms that shape the identity of a group. The school environment possesses a unique culture, as each school has its own profile based on its characteristics. Cultural education is the knowledge imparted to students based on existing culture, including cultural values, norms, and skills in the field of culture. The essence of culture is a system of values, norms, and regulations that persist within a group.In many schools, habitual activities such as commemorating national holidays help students become more active and participatory in school activities. Exemplary behaviors such as dressing neatly, arriving on time, and communicating politely enable students to internalize desired behaviors in their daily lives. School culture plays an important role in shaping character. As educational institutions, schools have visions, missions, and goals not only to disseminate knowledge but also to cultivate the morals and behaviors of students through the values taught within the school environment.By implementing positive culture, students are expected to develop good character, become responsible individuals, and contribute positively to society. Therefore, it is essential for every school to develop a culture that supports character education and creates an inclusive and productive learning environment. Thus, school culture not only shapes students' character to be more disciplined and independent but also creates a stable and structured learning environment within the school.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of centralization and decentralization policies on teacher performance at the Hidayatullah Education Institution in Balikpapan. Using a quantitative approach, the research employs questionnaires, interviews, and observations as data collection methods. The findings indicate that centralization policies help maintain consistency in curriculum standards and evaluation, while decentralization policies enhance creativity and innovation in teaching. However, coordination between these two policies remains a challenge. With a balanced strategy, the combination of centralization and decentralization policies can improve teacher performance and the quality of education. This study offers practical and theoretical contributions to the development of more adaptive educational policies.

Abstract

Kegiatan Penguatan Kompetensi Dosen Dalam Pembuatan Proposal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Kolaborasi Nasional Antar Perguruan Tinggi (Kolaborasi Universitas Negeri Surabaya Dengan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat Dan Universitas PGRI Banjarmasin, Kalimantan Selatan) merupakan solusi dari kurang Pengoptimalan serta Penguatan Kompetensi Dosen Dalam Pembuatan Proposal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Kolaborasi Nasional Antar Perguruan Tinggi. Tujuan PKM yaitu: (1) Melaksanakan Pelatihan Dosen Dalam Pembuatan Proposal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Kolaborasi Nasional Antar Perguruan Tinggi, (2) Merancang Terwujudnya Proposal Kolaborasi Universitas Negeri Surabaya Dengan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat dan Proposal Kolaborasi Universitas Negeri Surabaya dengan Universitas PGRI Kalimantan. Kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan dilakukan dengan metode workshop, pendampingan, dan project. Hasil dari pelatihana adalah mahasiswa dan dosen mitra menhasilkan Proposal Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) kolaborasi Nasioanl antar Perguruan tinggi yang siap untuk diajakukan di https://bima.kemdikbud.go.id. Dari kegiatan tersebut dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut. Kegiatan berjalan baik dan lancar sesuai dengan jadwal yang direncanakan, Kegiatan pendampingan secara umum berlangsung secara efektif, Pendampingan menghasilkan 10 Proposal Pengabdian kepada masyarakat kolaborasi Nasional antar perguruan tinggi yang siap untuk di laksanakan pada tahun 2025.Saran dari kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan adalah masih perlunya kegiatan yang serupa kepada mahasiswa dan dosen mitra lainnya sebagai upaya pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berdasarkan pada kolaborasi seni budaya dengan kemasan yang lebih menarik dan efektif.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran video tutorial menggambar motif batik Jawa Timur dengan metode mebariuka, (menggambar batik dengan huruf dan angka) untuk meningkatkan kreativitas menggambar siswa tunarungu dengan menggunakan model 4D yang terdiri :: Pendefinisian (Design), Perancangan (Define), Pengembangan (Dessiminate), dan Penyebaran (Develop) untuk siswa tunarungu di SMPLB. Berdasar data penelitian, validitas, kepraktisan dan keefektifan produk video pembelajaran dinalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan skor rata-rata validator adalah 87,2%. Penilitian yang dilakukan dengan uji normalitas signifikan pretest sebesar 0,990 dan nilai signifikan post test sebesar 0,998. Hal ini menunjukkam bahwa nilai p value ( > 0,05), dapat disimpulkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal. Dari data nilai yang dihasilkan selama uji coba produk mulai dari uji kelayakan produk dengan skala kecil sampai uji kelayakan produk dengan skala besar. Pengujian kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar dengan uji t skala kecil menunjukkan nilai signifikansi nilai koefisien sebesar 0,919 dengan nilai signifikan 0,027 < nilai p value (0,05). Dalam uji coba skala kecil dari nilai rata-rata awal 65,8 menjadi 84,4 dan terdapat selisih kenaikan 28,27 %. Setelah dilakukan uci coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba kelompok besar dengan hasil perhitungan uji t skala besar menunjukkan nilai signifikansi nilai koefisien sebesar 0,895 dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 < nilai p value (0,05), dapat disimpulkan bahwa H₀ ditolak dan Ha diterima, terdapat rata-rata antara hasil belajar pre test dan post test yang artinya pengaruh penggunaan media dengan peningkatan produktivitas siswa pacsa media dari rata-rata awal 62,467 menjadi 81,733 dan selisih kenaikan 30,9 %.

Abstract

This study describes a creative dance model in dance lessons for PGSD students at the State University of Surabaya. The purpose of this research is to find out the making of dance for elementary school children, making elementary school children's dances through creative dance models, the process of making dance creations, developing an idea and being creative, as well as having the objective of analyzing creative dance models to create children's dances. Elementary school children in dance lessons. The creative dance model means a creative dance model. The research method uses qualitative research and descriptive analysis. Data collected from documentation, observations, and observations. The results of this study are the product of a lesson model for coaching guidelines and dance exploration for children for PGSD students at the State University of Surabaya.
