Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve the ability to write an explanatory text summary using the SQ3R model with the aid of mind mapping. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). This study uses the Arikunto cycle in two cycles. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, tests, documentation, and field notes. The subjects of this study were students of class 5C SDN Polehan 2 Malang City. The research instrument used teacher and student observation instruments, interview instruments, and test instruments. Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The average percentage of teacher activity from the first cycle was 83.35 percent to 95 percent in the second cycle. The percentage of learning outcomes in pre-action skills is 31.81 percent. The percentage of skill learning outcomes in the first cycle was 86.36 percent, in the second cycle it increased to 90.9 percent. The aspect of attitude in the first cycle is still lacking in the aspect of self-confidence because students are still shy and do not dare to show themselves, but in the second cycle they are better and the attitude of responsibility is increasingly visible. Based on the data obtained, the ability to write an explanatory text summary using the SQ3R model with the aid of mind mapping increased. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis ringkasan teks eksplanasi menggunakan model SQ3R berbantuan mind mapping. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini menggunakan siklus Arikunto dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, tes, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 5C SDN Polehan 2 Kota Malang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan instrumen observasi guru dan siswa, instrumen wawancara, dan instrumen tes. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Persentase rata-rata aktivitas guru dari siklus I sebesar 83.35 persen menjadi 95 persen pada siklus II. Persentase hasil belajar keterampilan pada pra tindakan sebesar 31.81 persen. Persentase hasil belajar keterampilan pada siklus I sebesar 86.36 persen, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 90.9 persen. Pada aspek sikap pada siklus I masih kurang dalam aspek percaya diri dikarenakan siswa masih malu dan belum berani unjuk diri, namun pada siklus II sudah lebih baik serta sikap tanggung jawab semakin terlihat. Berdasarkan data yang didapatkan, kemampuan menulis ringkasan teks eksplanasi menggunakan model SQ3R berbantuan mind mapping meningkat.

Abstract

Abstract: Beginning reading is an early stage that supports other language skills. Good reading skills can affect student learning success. This research is motivated by the problems that occurred at SDN Cemorokandang 01 Malang City, namely the lack of effective learning due to the pandemic period so that learning has been running for one semester there are still students who still have difficulty in reading the beginning and affect the student learning process, because students read to learn. The purpose of this study was to determine the application and influence of reading card media on the early reading ability of first graders at SDN Cemorokandang 01 Malang City. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Pre-Experimental Design method. The type of design used is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The number of samples in this study were 30 students with a total sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test nonparametric statistical test. Observation results show the percentage of 77 percent with the category of students participating in learning using reading card media well. The results of data analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test obtained a significance of 0.000 less than 0.05, which means that there is a significant difference between the initial reading ability of first-class students at SDN Cemorokandang 1 Malang before and after learning using reading card media. Abstrak: Membaca permulaan merupakan tahap awal yang mendukung kemampuan berbahasa yang lainnya. Kemampuan membaca yang baik dapat berpengaruh dalam kesuksesan belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah yang terjadi di SDN Cemorokandang 01 Kota Malang yaitu kurang efektifnya pembelajaran karena masa pandemi sehingga sudah berjalan pembelajaran selama satu semester masih terdapat siswa yang masih kesulitan dalam membaca permulaan dan mempengaruhi proses belajar siswa, karena siswa membaca untuk belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan dan pengaruh media kartu baca terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 1 SDN Cemorokandang 01 Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Pre- Experimental Design. Jenis desain yang digunakan, yaitu One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 siswa dengan teknik total sampling. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji statistika nonparametrik Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil observasi menunjukkan persentase 77 persen dengan kategori siswa mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan media kartu baca dengan baik. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test diperoleh signifikansi 0,000 kurang dari 0,05 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas I SDN Cemorokandang 1 Kota Malang sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran menggunakan media kartu baca.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on a preliminary study during KPL (Field Practice Study), interviews with fourth grade teachers, and analysis of the needs of fourth grade students at SDN Bunulrejo 3 Malang, which shows that the use of media is still limited to learning to write instructional texts, so students feel bored. in learning. Based on these problems, an animated video "Vivi and Jeje" was developed for learning to write instructional texts for fourth grade students at SDN Bunulrejo 3 Malang. This study aims to produce and test animated video products for learning to write instructional texts for fourth grade elementary school students that are valid based on the validation of material experts and media experts, interesting and practical based on teacher and student responses. This research uses the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, questionnaires, observations, tests and documentation. The results showed that the product validity from the results of the material expert validation was 91.66 percent and the media expert validation results were 100 percent. The attractiveness and practicality of the results of the teacher's response questionnaire are 96.36 percent, the results of the small group student response questionnaire are 96.36 percent, and the results of the large group student questionnaire response are 96.83 percent. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the product validity is categorized as valid without revision, the attractiveness and practicality of the product are categorized as very attractive and practical. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi berdasarkan studi pendahuluan selama KPL (Kajian Praktik Lapangan), wawancara dengan guru kelas IV, dan analisis kebutuhan siswa kelas IV SDN Bunulrejo 3 Malang, yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media masih terbatas pada pembelajaran menulis teks petunjuk, sehingga siswa merasa bosan dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan pengembangan video animasi “Vivi dan Jeje” untuk pembelajaran menulis teks petunjuk bagi siswa kelas IV SDN Bunulrejo 3 Malang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan dan mengujicobakan produk video animasi untuk pembelajaran menulis teks petunjuk bagi siswa kelas IV SD yang valid berdasarkan validasi ahli materi dan ahli media, menarik dan praktis berdasarkan respon guru dan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini berupa wawancara, angket, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kevalidan produk dari hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 91,66 persen dan hasil validasi ahli media sebesar 100 persen. Kemenarikan dan kepraktisan dari hasil angket respon guru sebesar 96,36 persen, hasil angket respon siswa kelompok kecil sebesar 96,36 persen, dan hasil angket respon siswa kelompok besar sebesar 96,83 persen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kevalidan produk dikategorisasikan valid tanpa revisi, kemenarikan dan kepraktisan produk dikategorisasikan sangat menarik dan praktis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dua bahasa bersama siswa kelas IV di SD Lab UM Kota Malang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriftif kualitatif. Pendekatan Kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini karena data yang terkumpul berbemtuk wawancara dan observasi. Metode ini digunakan sesaui denngan tujuan yaitu menganalisis penelitian kemampan menulis cerpen dengan pengajaran bilingual pada siswa kelas IV SD Lab UM Kora Malang tahun Pelajaran 2025/ 2026.Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV Bilingual SD Lab Kota Malang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu edoman observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan pada menulis siswa Kelas IV dengan pengajaran bilingual di SD Lab UM Kota Malang adalah kemampuan yang dimiliki siswa dalam menentukan unsur intrinsik cerpen terutama pada teks cerpen terbilang cukup rendah. Mengapa demikian karena hasil tes yang telah dilakukan oleh siswa menunjukkan bahwa tidak semua siswa memahami dengan baik materi unsur intrinsik cerpen tidak semua siswa mengetahui cara menentukan dan menulis cerpen dengan benar

Abstract

Based on project-based collaborative learning, this study attempts to evaluate the numeracy skills of prospective elementary education teachers. The study design is pretest-posttest control group, and the research methodology is experimental and quantitative. Purposive sampling strategies are used to create experimental and control classes.While project assignments are completed individually in the control class, they are administered in groups to the experimental class. Ten multiple-choice and yes-or-no (objective) questions are used in the pre-test and post-test results to gather information on students' numeracy proficiency. Project-based collaborative learning research findings are applied to enhance the numeracy skills of prospective elementary education teachers. The score's outcomes after acquiring the experimental class were 0.001 and The experimental class used group projects, while the control class used individual projects. The control class's pre-test and post-test collaborative learning results differed by less than 0.001.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a humorous children’s audio podcast based on the Seven Habits of Great Indonesian Children to strengthen character education in elementary schools. Using a Research and Development design with the ADDIE model, data were collected through observations, interviews, expert validation, student questionnaires, and short character-based tests. Instruments included validation sheets, teacher practicality questionnaires, student response forms, and tests aligned with the Seven Habits indicators. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques supported by qualitative feedback. The product consisted of seven humorous podcast episodes. Validation results indicated high feasibility (mean = 4.67). Field testing with 48 students at SDN Sumberdem 1, Malang Regency, showed very positive responses (mean = 4.74; 95%). Students were enthusiastic, understood moral messages clearly, and demonstrated emerging positive traits such as empathy, responsibility, discipline, and motivation. The podcast is feasible, engaging, and effective for strengthening character education and supporting the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

This development research was motivated by fifth-grade elementary school students’ limited understanding of the digestive system and the scarcity of learning materials. The results of the needs analysis indicated that students require engaging digital media to help them understand the concepts of the digestive system. This study aims to produce a PBL-based digital learning kit that is valid, practical for teachers to use, and engaging for students. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product consists of problem-based digital modules designed to enhance students’ motivation, enthusiasm for learning, and engagement. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires, with a pilot test conducted at SDN Lowokwaru 5. The results showed 90.6% content validity, 100% media validity, 96.6% practicality, and 98.7% appeal. Based on these results, the PBL-based digital learning kit was deemed highly valid, practical, and suitable for use in IPAS instruction.

Abstract

The community service activity aims to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among students and strengthen school independence in developing entrepreneurship programs based on local potential. The training activity was carried out at SMPN 4 Lumbang, Probolinggo Regency. The stages of this training activity include planning that includes identifying partner needs, preparing training designs, implementing training, and evaluating and following up through questionnaires, interviews, and participant work portfolios. The results of the training showed an increase in participants' conceptual understanding of entrepreneurial principles, technical skills in organic vegetable cultivation, and motivation to start a business independently. In addition, this training activity also formed an organic vegetable garden at the school as an entrepreneurship laboratory. The benefits of this activity are not only felt by the participants but on the other hand it is also able to strengthen the development of teacher and institutional capacity in developing entrepreneurship-based programs in the school environment. Recommendations for the future are that schools can develop collaboration with farmers and MSMEs while integrating entrepreneurial values ​​into the school curriculum so that the development of entrepreneurship among students can run optimally.

Abstract

This research was carried out to produce a guided inquiry learning module on the topic of energy and its changes for grade IV elementary school students, with the module expected to satisfy the standards of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. A Research and Development (R&D) design following the ADDIE framework was applied, engaging 25 pupils as research subjects. Data collection combined classroom observation, teacher interviews, expert validation sheets, user response questionnaires, and a set of achievement tests. Findings indicated that the developed module obtained a validity rating of 94% from the material expert and 95% from the media expert, placing it in the very valid category. Practicality scores from teachers and pupils reached 95.6% and 93.8%, respectively, confirming a highly practical rating. The average student score rose from 61.43 to 86.57, yielding an N-Gain value of 0.65 which falls under the moderate category. Based on these results, the module can be considered a suitable resource for supporting science instruction at the elementary level.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop a science story book for improve science interest elementary school students in Malang. This research is classified as development research. The research stages use the ADDIE model. This research was conducted at SDN Percobaan 2 Malang, Malang City, East Java Province. The research instrument used validity and effective questionnaire sheet. The research data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of the study indicated that the science story book meets the validity. Based on the validation results of the material experts, the percentage results were 78% with valid criteria, the media experts obtained a percentage result of 98% with very valid criteria and the validation results of the educator response test obtained a percentage result of 84% with very valid criteria. The effective of science storybooks in students’ interest in learning science obtained a percentage result 83,54% with very high criteria. The conclusion of this study is that the developed science storybook is effective for use in science learning and improve the interest science elementary school students. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan buku cerita sains untuk meningkatkan minat belajar sains siswa tingkat sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Tahapan penelitian menggunakan model ADDIE. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Percobaan 2 Malang, Kota Malang, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar angket validitas dan angket minat belajar sains. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan buku cerita sains memenuhi syarat validitas. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli materi diperoleh hasil persentase 78% dengan kriteria valid, ahli media diperoleh hasil persentase 98% dengan kriteria sangat valid dan hasil validasi uji respon pendidik diperoleh hasil persentase 84% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Uji efektivitas buku cerita sains terhadap minat belajar sains siswa diperoleh hasil persentase 83,54% kategori sangat tinggi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah buku cerita sains yang dikembangkan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran sains dan meningkatkan minat belajar sains siswa tingkat sekolah dasar.
