Abstract

To develop the potential of students must be supported by quality education. Total Quality Management becomes a management approach centered on quality for long-term success through customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to find out how customer satisfaction is assessed from aspects of tangibles (direct evidence), reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. This research uses mixed methods with the Embedded Concurrent model (unbalanced mixture), applied to students with a sample of 90 students as respondents chosen randomly with 25 items of questions, observations, interviews, documentation. The findings of these study address customers getting satisfaction with the services provided by schools. With responsiveness aspects that are more prominent than other elements.

Abstract

Teachers in madrasas have a central role in realizing educational goals. Teacher performance affects students' academic achievement and shapes their attitudes, values, and moral character. Managing teacher performance in madrasah has its challenges, including fulfilling training and professional development needs, objective performance appraisal, appropriate motivation and rewards, and efficient resource management. This study aims to analyze teacher performance management at MTs Negeri 1 Lampung Utara. The research method used is qualitative. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects were the madrasah head and teachers. The results showed that teacher performance management is carried out in four aspects, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. Based on the research data, it was found that planning and supervision were effective. However, in terms of implementation, several problems were found, namely external and internal problems. To overcome these problems, several things are applied, namely, developing several characteristics in planning, organizing personnel, implementing programs, providing intensive supervision, instilling Islamic values and brotherhood, and optimizing the functions and roles of teachers.

Abstract

Literacy can be acquired through the learning process through two literacy skills that students can acquire gradually, namely reading and writing. This research is motivated by the fact that there is no literacy program at elementary school 1 sukarame dua, teluk betung, Lampung, Indonesia that has been conceptualized by the school as it should be, then educators have not received training on literacy programs, there is no School Literacy Team (TLS), the availability of books in the library is relatively poor, both in terms of quantity and quality, including the absence of a comfortable reading room for school residents. This study aims to determine and analyze the management of the literacy program at State Elementary School I Sukarame Dua, West Teluk Betung Subdistrict, Bandar Lampung City, from the planning, implementation and evaluation stages. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the literacy program at elementary school 1 sukarame dua, teluk betung, Lampung, Indonesia has an integration process of all school components, starting from the planning process, then the implementation process which has several stages, namely the habituation, learning and development stages. As a new program, the implementation of literacy at elementary school 1 sukarame dua, teluk betung, Lampung, Indonesia is seen as good by all school components. In addition, in the evaluation process, elementary school 1 sukarame dua, teluk betung, Lampung, Indonesia can provide the results of what are the inhibiting factors, namely the lack of books in the library, and the lack of awareness of students to read, some things that can be a solution to the results of the evaluation of the literacy program carried out, namely elementary school 1 sukarame dua, teluk betung, Lampung, Indonesia can provide a variety of new books, approach parents and each school component, especially homeroom teachers, provide reinforcement, enthusiasm and encouragement to students about reading books and always encourage and give prizes to students who diligently read books.

Abstract

The study aims to determine and analyse the implementation of strategic management in the tahfidz program at MTs N 2 Bandar Lampung. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection methods used were interview, observation, and documentation. The collected data were analysed through data reduction procedures, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Data validity test was conducted by triangulation. The results of the study found that: 1) The formulation of the strategy for developing the Qur'an tahfizh program, namely the vision of realising religious people and the mission of developing the potential of students according to their interests and talents and increasing the competence of students through intensive coaching both academic and non-academic. The goal is to produce students who have the character of memorising the Qur'an, facilitate students in learning to memorise the Qur'an and equip students with the knowledge of Tahfidz Al-Qur'an as capital for further schooling. The strengths are the teaching staff or mentors, quite a lot of enthusiasts, full support from the madrasa head. The weaknesses are the ups and downs of student enthusiasm and motivation, the absence of dormitories. The opportunities are support from parents, career paths for students for further schooling, and a better image of the institution. 2) Implementation of the development strategy of the fullday Al-Qur'an tahfidz class program, namely the fullday Al-Qur'an tahfidz class program that has been formulated and implemented including the targets to be achieved. Routine activities on Monday-Thursday at 14.00-16.00. Memorisation and muroja'ah, sima'an, memorisation test, certificate collection and tabarukan. The fullday Qur'an Tahfidz class is headed by Aisyah. There is no difference between the culture or habits carried out by regular students and Tahfidz Al-Qur'an students. the leadership style in the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program is an analytical leader. 3) Evaluation of the development strategy of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program is a review carried out directly and also periodically, namely meetings every 2 months. Tahfidz with the most enthusiasts at MTs N 2 Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

The existence of education personnel or school administration in the learning process is very necessary as one of the components of the learning process. Duties and functions are not usually carried out by educators because administrative work is administrative in nature which is subject to special rules. Often times quality improvement is always echoed with teachers and students, in fact, increasing the quality of education quality is almost unheard of involving also improving the quality of administrative staff who are part of the education workforce. As an educational institution that offers service products, schools must be able to offer and convince the public that the school is the right educational institution. The increasing need for education among the community both formally and non-formally is an encouragement for them to send their children to schools that have good quality and service. This study aims to determine whether there is a significant influence between the performance of education personnel on the quality of academic services at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. The approach used is quantitative by using various validity tests, reliability tests, prerequisite tests and also deeper hypothesis testing. The methods used consist of questionnaires, observation, and documentation with non-parametric statistical analysis techniques on ordninal data. The results show that there is a significant influence between the performance of education personnel on the quality of academic services at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung.
