Abstract

This was research conducted in four villages (irrigated and non-irrigated) was designed to identify the impact of Riam Kanan Irrigation to efficiency  in rice farming system. For each villages, sample was selected by random sampling of farmers. To analyze of efficiency, use regression model according to Cobb Douglas. Next, to get frontier production use Tobit model from software SHAZAM. Results of the research  showed that on the function of production findness value of Technical Efficiency Rating (TER) first plant session (0.9958) higher than second plant session (0.9829). It means that for usefullness  of production factors in irrigated still higher than non-irrigated. Following should be implemented,  that for growing up rice production in farmer , it must be controll about irrigate and drainage system.   Keywords : impact, efficiency, rice farming system

Abstract

Pengembangan klaster makanan ringan merupakan salah satu usaha meningkatkan kinerja usaha agroindustry skala UMKM di Kota Malang. Studi ini dilakukan di sentra industri keripik tempe dan sentra industri marning jagung. Permasalahan utama sentra industri makanan ringan di Kota Malang antara lain; aspek manajemen, teknologi dan sistem produksi. Hal ini diduga menjadi salah satu penyebab belum efektifnya kinerja klaster. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh variabel manajemen, teknologi dan sistem produksi terhadap efektivitas kinerja klaster makanan ringan di Kota Malang. Metode analisis data menggunakan menggunakan permodelan GSCA. Hasil analisa menunjukkan  bahwa variabel manajemen dan teknologi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap sistem produksi. Namun, kedua variabel tersebut tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap efektivitas kinerja dari klaster makanan ringan.

Abstract

ABSTRAKHalmahera Timur merupakan salah satu daerah yang berkembang dengan agroindustri kopra. Pada pengembangan agroindustri kopra di Halmahera Timur saat ini diperlukan adanya perbaikan sistem kelembagaan rantai pasok. Rantai pasok agroindustri kopra sendiri dipengaruhi oleh lembaga rantai pasok yang menanganinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan struktur atau model kelembagaan rantai pasok agroindustri kopra di Kabupaten Halmahera Timur menggunakan metode Interpretive Structural Modelling (ISM). Hasil analisis pengembangan sistem kelembagaan rantai pasok menggunakan metode ISM menunjukkan bahwa struktur baru kelembagaan rantai pasok untuk agroindustri Kopra di kabupaten Halmahera Timur yang didasarkan pada empat elemen analisis yakni elemen kebutuhan, elemen kendala, elemen tujuan, serta elemen lembaga yang terlibat ABSTRACTEast Halmahera is an area that is growing copra as one of agro-industries comodities. In the development of copra agro-industry in East Halmahera institutional system need to improve their supply chain. Copra agro-industry supply chain itself influenced by supply chain handle.The purpose of this study was to determine the structure or institutional model of agro-industry supply chain copra in East Halmahera using Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM). The results showed that the new structure of institutional supply chain for copra agro-industry in East Halmahera that is based on the four elements of the analysis of the elements needs, element constraints, elements of interest, and elements of the agencies involved

Abstract

ABSTRAKAnalisis risiko produksi merupakan aspek penting dalam menjamin keberhasilan produksi dan bisnis. Riset ini bertujuan menganalisis risiko produksi yoghurt, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya risiko produksi yoghurt, dan strategi untuk meminimalkan risiko produksi yoghurt. Metode FMEA merupakan metode yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi risiko produksi  yoghurt. AHP digunakan untuk membantu penentuan alternatif strategi dalam meminimalkan risiko produksi yoghurt. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan risiko tertinggi dari masing-masing variabel. Risiko tersebut yaitu kualitas susu segar (susu mengandung bakteri patogen), proses produksi (kualitas bakteri starter menurun/mati), dan produk jadi (pesaing produk sejenis). Strategi untuk meminimasi risiko produksi yoghurt yaitu kualitas susu segar (pelatihan intensif bagi peternak), produk (kemitraan dengan pelaku bisnis lain), dan proses produksi (meningkatkan perawatan mesin dan peralatan). ABSTRACTProduction risk analysis is an important aspect for ensuring the success of the production and business. This research aimed to analyze the risks of yoghurt production, identify the factors that influence the risks of yoghurt production, and formulate the strategies to minimize the risks of yoghurt production. FMEA method was used to identify risk production and AHP was used to determine alternative strategies for minimizing the risk of yoghurt production. The results showed there are some the highest risks of each variable namely: milk contains bacterial pathogens, quality starter bacteria decreased/dead, and competitors that produce similar products. Strategies to manage the risk of the production of yoghurt, namely intensive training for the breeders to ensure the quality of fresh milk, partnership with other business person, and improving performance machinery and equipment

Abstract

ABSTRAKHalmahera Timur adalah daerah yang cocok untuk pengembangan usaha tanaman perkebunan, salah satunya yang berkembang saat ini adalah perkebunan kelapa dengan agroindustri kopra. Agroindustri kopra di Halmahera Timur semakin berkembang dan meningkat seiring permintaan bahan baku industri kopra saat ini. Pada pengembangan usaha diperlukan suatu analisa perencanaan strategi yang matang sehingga diperoleh hasil yang optimum dari setiap penggunaan sumber daya bidang produksi, pemasaran, sumber daya manusia, dan teknologi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan alternatif perencanaan strategi yang tepat dalam pengembangan agroindustri kopra di Kabupaten Halmahera Timur menggunakan analisis SWOT (Strenghts, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan strategi agroindustri kopra di Halmahera Timur menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan internal eksternal industri berada pada kategori Hold and Maintain, dengan strategi pengembangan terfokus pada penetrasi pasar dan pengembangan produk. Strategi pengembangan yang dapat dilakukan antara lain pengembangan UMKM lokal skala kecil, pengembangan kemitraan, pengembangan kualitas kopra, pengembangan keterampilan SDM ABSTRACTEast Halmahera is a good area for the development of plantation crops, one of them is currently developing is Agroindustry Copra. Agroindustry Copra in East Halmahera growing and increase as demand for industrial raw materials copra. Business development strategy required a careful analysis planning in order to obtain optimum results from any use of resources in production, marketing, human resources, and technology. The purpose of this study was to determine the alternative planning strategies in agroindustry development especially for copra in East Halmahera using SWOT (Strenghts, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis. The results showed that based on the SWOT analysis, strategy development Agroindustry Copra in East Halmahera indicate that the internal forces external to the industry is the hold and maintain category, with the development strategy focused on market penetration and product development. The development strategy that can be done include the development of small-scale local SMEs, the development of partnerships, the development of copra quality, human resources and skills development

Abstract

Sharia tourism is a new trend of tourism in the world. Sharia tourism opportunities are potentially very profitable. Sharia tourism accommodates many industries, such as halal food, halal travel, halal restaurants, and sharia hotels. One aspect that must be met in the certification of sharia hotels is halal certified restaurants. UNIDA Gontor Inn is one of the hotels in Ponorogo owned by Universitas Darussalam (UNIDA) Gontor which is prepared to be a sharia hotel.The purpose of this study is to determine the strategy of developing hotel restaurants to become halal restaurants as supporting sharia hotels. Determination of the development strategy using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. AHP calculation obtained the highest level factor level priority results, production system 0.454, the highest level goal priority is halal restaurant certificate 0.412, the priority level alternative strategy is the highest weight, determination of the production quality standard of 0.316. Hotel management must focus on determining production quality standards related to input, process and output, including purchasing raw materials, receiving, selecting, storing, processing and serving according to the Halal Assurance System (HAS) so that it can support halal restaurant certification to support the hotel sharia, as well as being a pilot of sharia hotels in Ponorogo.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the cluster development strategy based on product performance and quality and analyze the elements in the institutional cluster of gadung chips in Tulungagung Regency. The superior product of gadung chips in Tulungagung Regency is currently being developed in connection with the government's efforts to improve the regional economy through the application of the One Village One Product (OVOP) concept. The center of the gadung chips industry in Kalidawir Subdistrict, which is still active, produces 25 SMEs. The problems faced by SMEs in developing businesses, individuals, lack of communication and cooperation among SMEs with the Government, limited marketing and technology activities and low product quality. The method used is K-means cluster and FAHP. The results showed that the grouping of SMEs gadung chips based on the performance and quality of the products produced 2 clusters. Cluster 1st consists of 11 small-scale members and cluster 2nd consists of 14 micro business scale. Development strategy of cluster 1st by increasing innovation on product features and cluster 2nd through increased access to capital. The institutions consist of several parties involved including core industries, supporting industries, suppliers, supporting institutions and buyers. The success of the development of the gadung chips industry cluster is highly dependent on inter-institutional cooperation relationships.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKeripik gadung merupakan salah satu produk unggulan daerah Kabupaten Tulungagung,  sentra produksi keripik gadung terletak di Kecamatan Kalidawir dengan jumlah 25 UKM yang masih aktif produksi. Kapasitas produksi yang dihasilkan UKM rata-rata sebesar 5,416 kg per bulan. Permasalahan yang dialami UKM selama ini adalah kelembagaan masih cenderung individu sehingga minimnya komunikasi dan kerjasama antar UKM, belum ada asosiasi dan kerjasama dengan Pemerintah serta rendahnya kualitas produk. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis clustering UKM keripik gadung berdasarkan kinerja dan kualitas produk. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah K-means clustering. Hasil penelitian menggunakan metode K-means clustering membentuk 2 klaster. Klaster 1 terdiri dari 11 anggota UKM skala kecil dan klaster 2 terdiri dari 14 anggota UKM skala usaha mikro. Pada klaster 1 dan 2 perbedaan signifikan terletak pada nilai kapasitas produksi, jumlah investasi, jumlah tenaga kerja, rata-rata penjualan dan pendapatan. Usulan perbaikan yang dapat dilakukan klaster 1 untuk mengembangkan usaha melalui peningkatan akses informasi dan peningkatan inovasi teknologi sedangkan klaster 2 melalui peningkatan permodalan agar dapat melakukan kegiatan pemasaran dengan optimal, meningkatkan kapasitas produksi serta memperbaiki kualitas produk yang dihasilkan. Penerapan standarisasai, quality control (QC) dan peningkatan akses pemasaran juga diperlukan untuk mengembangkan usaha keripik gadung. Upaya perbaikan melibatkan seluruh pelaku dan Pemerintah daerah yang saling terhubung. ABSTRACT Gadung Chips is one of the superior products in the Tulungagung Regency, Gadung chips production center is located in Kalidawir District with 25 SMEs which are still actively producing. The production capacity produced by SMEs is an average of 5,416 kg per month. The problem experienced by SMEs so far is that institutions still tend to be individuals so there is a lack of communication and cooperation between SMEs. There is no association and cooperation with the Government and low quality products. The aim of the study was to clustering analyze of gadung chips SMEs based on performance and product quality. The method used in the study is K-means clustering. The results of the study used the K-means clustering method to form 2 clusters. Cluster 1 consists of 11 small-scale SMEs members and cluster 2 consists of 14 micro business scale SMEs. In cluster 1 and 2 the significant difference lies in the value of production capacity, amount of investment, number of workers, average sales and income. Proposed improvements that can be made in cluster 1 to develop the business through increasing access to information and increasing technological innovation while cluster 2 through increasing capital in order to be able to carry out marketing activities optimally, increase production capacity and improve the quality of the products produced. Standardization, quality control (QC) and increased access to marketing are also needed to develop the gadung chips business. Improvement efforts involve all actors and local governments that are interconnected.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kabupaten Lamongan merupakan salah satu wilayah di Jawa Timur yang memiliki potensi di sektor pertanian. Banyaknya jagung di kecamatan Lamongan menjadi peluang untuk diolah menjadi emping jagung yang berpotensi menjadi produk unggul daerah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini menentukan strategi terbaik untuk tiap klaster yang terbentuk. Metode yang digunakan yakni K-means Cluster dan Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy (FAHP). Pada model pengembangan klaster agroindustri diperoleh 2 klaster berdasarkan berdasarkan kinerja dan kualitas produk UKM emping jagung di kabupaten Lamongan. Pada klaster 1 merupakan usaha skala kecil yang terdiri 3 UKM emping jagung, faktor yang gunakan adalah kualitas UKM (0,57) dengan kriteria performance product (0,32) sehingga alternatif yang dapat digunakan adalah meningkatkan kualitas tenaga kerja, menentukan dan menerapkan standarisasi produksi dan menerapkan teknologi tepat guna (0,26). Klaster 2 merupakan usaha skala mikro yang terdiri dari 5 UKM, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa klaster 2 faktor yang berpengaruh adalah kinerja UKM (0,51) dengan kriteria permasalahan yang mempengaruhi strategi pengembangan klaster adalah tenaga kerja (0,30) sehingga alternatif yang dapat digunakan adalah meningkatkan kualitas tenaga kerja (0,35). ABSTRACT  Lamongan regency is one of the areas in East Java that has potential in the agricultural sector. The large amount of corn in Lamongan district is an opportunity to be processed into corn chips which has the potential to be a superior product of the region. The purpose of this study is to determine the best strategy for each cluster formed. The method used is K-means Cluster and Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy (FAHP). The agroindustry cluster development model obtained 2 clusters based on the performance and product quality of SME corn chips in Lamongan regency. In cluster 1 is a small scale business consisting of 3 corn chips SMEs, the factor used is the quality of SMEs (0.57) with performance product criteria (0.32) so that an alternative that can be used is to improve the quality of labor, determine and implement production standards and applying appropriate technology (0.26). Cluster 2 is a micro scale business consisting of 5 SMEs, the results of the study show that cluster 2 factors that influence is the performance of SMEs (0.51) with the criteria for the problem affecting the cluster development strategy is labor (0.30) so that alternatives can be used is improving the quality of labor (0.35).

Abstract

ABSTRAKWisata syariah merupakan trend baru pariwisata di dunia. Peluang wisata syariah berpotensi sangat menguntungkan, tidak hanya bagi Muslim tapi juga non-Muslim. Wisata syariah mewadahi banyak industri, salah satunya hotel syariah. Syarat menjadikan hotel syariah, salah satu aspek yang harus dipenuhi yaitu restoran hotel harus merencanakan menu halal. UNIDA Gontor Inn merupakan salah satu hotel di Ponorogo milik Universitas Darussalam (UNIDA) Gontor yang belum memiliki sertifikat hotel syariah. Untuk itu, perlu penelusuran di Resto UNIDA Gontor Inn secara menyeluruh baik pada katering dalam maupun katering luar. Penelusuran menggunakan metode Halal Assurance System (HAS) 23102 Lembaga Pengkajian Pangan dan Obat-Obatan Majelis Ulama Indonesia (LPPOM MUI). Tujuan penelitian ini menentukan titik kritis kehalalan menu di Resto UNIDA Gontor Inn sehingga menunjang persiapan sertifikasi halal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengembangan konsep model sistem jaminan halal di Resto UNIDA Gontor Inn sangat berpotensi untuk dikembangkan. Penelusuran titik kritis halal pada 25 menu unggulan, terdapat  78 bahan baku, 7 merupakan bahan kritis. Artinya, semua menu yang diteliti telah tertelusur sebanyak 9% bahan  tidak memenuhi kriteria kritis. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan masukan bagi manajemen UNIDA Gontor Inn untuk melakukan perbaikan sebagai pendukung dokumen untuk proses sertifikasi halal oleh LPPOM MUI. UNIDA Gontor Inn is one of the hotels in Ponorogo owned by University of Darussalam (UNIDA) Gontor which does not yet have sharia hotel certificate. Therefore, it needs a search on the Resto of UNIDA Gontor Inn thoroughly both inside and outside catering. This search uses Halal Assurance System (HAS) 23102 the Assessment Institute for Foods and Drugs Majelis Ulama Indonesia (LPPOM MUI). The aim of this study is to determine the critical point of halal menu in Resto UNIDA Gontor Inn, so it is able to support the preparation of halal certification. The result shows that the development of the concept of a halal assurance system model in Resto UNIDA Gontor Inn is very potential developed. The search of halal critical point on the 25 top menus, there are 78 raw materials and 7 are critical materials. It means all menus studied have been traced as much as 9% of the materials that do not meet the critical criteria. The implications of research finding can be used as recommendation for management of UNIDA Gontor Inn to do enhancement as supporting document for halal certification process by LPPOM MUI.
