Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes through the TGT Cooperative Learning Model in Class IV SDN 18 Balaesang. The research was conducted in II cycles and applied to the fourth-grade students of SDN 18 Balaesang with a total of 22 students, consisting of 13 female students and 9 male students. The data were collected by means of tests and observations. This type of research is classroom action research, the learning outcomes of the first cycle of classical learning completeness of 60% and the second cycle of 90.90%. The percentage of teacher activity results in the first cycle of 72.72% is categorized as sufficient and the second cycle of 80% is categorized as good. This shows that if the TGT (team games tournament) learning method is applied it can improve student learning outcomes in social studies subjects in grade IV SDN 18 Balaesang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the pedagogic competence of teachers and student achievement in social studies learning and the effect of teacher pedagogic competence on student achievement in social studies learning. This research method uses quantitative descriptive type with the research subjects are all fifthgrade students at SDN 015 Kenangan, Lariang District, amounting to 9 people. The results showed that of the 9 students, there were 9 students or 99.9% who stated that the teacher's pedagogical competence was good. While the student achievement of 9 students, there were 9 students or 99.9% who had good learning achievement. To determine whether there is an effect of teacher pedagogical competence with student achievement in social studies learning, it is consulted at a significant level of 5% or 0.05 (two nails) with the testing criteria if rcount <rtable, then Ho (null hypothesis) is rejected and if rcount> r_ (table,) then Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted. Based on the data found in this study, that the correlational analysis consulted at a significant level of 5% obtained r count> r table or 0.983> 0.666. This means that Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted and Ho (null hypothesis) is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between teacher pedagogical competence and student achievement in social studies learning during the COVID-19 pandemic in Class V SDN 015 Kenangan, Lariang District

Abstract

Community service is one form of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education that must be fulfilled by lecturers. Community service can be done in various forms of activities, but the most common is the sharing of knowledge and skills to improve the competence, capacity and performance of the target group (partners). For lecturers who concentrate on education, the target group is teachers and other educators. In this case, community service this time targets teachers at SDN 8 Banawa as partners. Based on the results of the situation analysis, in general, learning assessments are carried out based on assessment guidelines, but teachers have not innovated HOTS-oriented learning assessments in elementary schools. This community service aims to provide skills as well as understanding how to carry out HOTS-oriented learning assessments in elementary schools. The purpose of this community service is to improve the skills of teachers in HOTS-oriented learning assessment at SDN 8 Banawa. This activity is carried out in four stages, namely observation, training, mentoring and evaluation. Observations have been made before this proposal was drafted, while training is a process of transferring knowledge and skills in routine monthly activities that are on the teacher's agenda at SDN 8 Banawa, Banawa District, while mentoring will be carried out in schools when partner teachers apply the results of training in class. Evaluation was conducted to determine the applicability and effectiveness of the training results. Based on the evaluation results, it can be seen that teachers' knowledge about HOTS has increased, as evidenced by the results of interviews with teachers who have understood and understood what HOTS is. Whereas previously they were unfamiliar with the word HOTS or Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). The skills of teachers have also improved, and they have been able to develop HOTS learning assessment instruments.

Abstract

Video learning media is an alternative that can increase student participation in learning, so that students can think actively. The formulation of the research problem is how the student learning outcomes using video media and student learning outcomes who do not use video media at SDN Tondo. Are there differences in student learning outcomes taught using video media with student learning outcomes taught not using video at SDN Tondo. How do students respond to learning using video media and student responses who do not use video media at SDN Tondo. The results showed that the learning outcomes of the experimental and control classes were categorized as very high, where the percentage of the experimental class was 86.63% and the control class was 77.53%. There are differences in the learning outcomes of the experimental and control classes in SBdP subjects, it can be seen with the sig-value t-test. (2-tailed) for the experimental class of 0.014, greater than the significance level of 0.005 (0.014> 0.005) as well as the sig results. (2-tailed) for the control class of 0.018, which is greater than the significance level of 0.005 (0.018> 0.005), which means that these two have significant differences. The t value of the Experiment class is 2.545, which is greater than the t table (1.70562) as well as the t value of the Control class, which is 2.467, which is greater than the t table (1.71714), meaning that there is a significant difference. Thus it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. From the research results, it was concluded that learning using video media could affect student learning outcomes in SBdP subjects in class IV SDN Tondo.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the teacher's role in fostering student discipline at SDN 1 Posona, to determine the inhibiting factors in fostering student discipline at SDN 1 Posona. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research model. The research subjects were 20 students. The data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, observation and documentation. In fostering student discipline, namely, using an exemplary approach and getting used to discipline, religious, independent, responsible, fond of reading and caring for the environment. The inhibiting factors for the teacher's role in fostering student discipline are: The corona disease outbreak, the influence of peer relationships in the student's residential environment, limited communication between students' parents and students due to economic factors and being too busy with personal gadgets. And the results of the study show that: the teacher's role in fostering student discipline at SDN 1 Posona in online learning from a total of 20 student respondents which can be seen from the percentage can be concluded in the very high category.
