Abstract

Arabic language learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) still faces various challenges, including the lack of learning media that is interesting and in accordance with the needs of students. This study aims to analyze the needs and problems in Arabic language learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) as a first step in the development of collaborative interactive e-modules FAL (Fun Arabic Learning). The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a preliminary study approach. Data were gathered through observations, interviews, and questionnaires administered to teachers and students. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was ensured through source and method triangulation. The results showed that students had difficulty in understanding Arabic vocabulary and sentence structure, low motivation to learn due to limited learning media, lack of collaborative activities to improve Arabic language skills. Teachers also experience obstacles in delivering material interactively and collaboratively.  Therefore, the development of collaborative interactive e-modules FAL (Fun Arabic Learning) is expected to be an innovative solution To enhance the efficiency and appeal of Arabic language learning in MI. Abstract

Waste management is a major challenge in sustainable development, particularly in areas with tourism potential. Paya Jeget Village, Pegasing District, Central Aceh Regency, a developing tourist destination, is addressing waste management issues that require serious attention. The increasing number of tourists visiting the village has the potential to significantly increase the volume of waste generated. Without proper management, this condition can threaten environmental sustainability and public health. Therefore, a community-based waste management approach is needed that involves the active participation of all stakeholders, from village government, community leaders, tourism operators, and the general public. The objectives of this community service activity are to increase public knowledge and awareness about sustainable waste management, develop an integrated community-based waste management system, and establish independent community waste management groups to realize a clean and healthy tourist destination. Implementation methods include outreach and education, practical training, the formation of working groups, and ongoing mentoring to ensure the program runs consistently. The community service activities carried out on June 2, 2025 have achieved the following results: 45 participants participated in the outreach activities, 90% of participants understood the importance of waste from a religious and environmental perspective, the formation of collective awareness to maintain environmental cleanliness, the formation of a waste management group consisting of 15 members, the availability of waste sorting places at three strategic points, the implementation of waste sorting activities at the household level, and the start of organic waste composting activities. In addition, this activity also succeeded in fostering a spirit of mutual cooperation in waste management and improving residents' skills in processing organic waste into compost.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of a deep learning-based learning model to improve the speaking skills of students at SMP Muhammadiyah Purworejo. This study uses research and development with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research location was at SMP Muhammadiyah Purworejo in the 2024/2025 Academic Year for class VIII students with a population selection of class VIII students. Meanwhile, the research sample with a purposive sampling technique was 30 students representing diverse speaking abilities. Data were collected through tests, questionnaires, and observations. The test measures speaking skills, the questionnaire collects student responses, and the observation sheet observes the activities of teachers and students during the learning process. Interactive methods were used to analyze the data. The results showed an increase of 11.3 points in pretest data of 28.9 and posttest of 40.2. In addition, the questionnaire and observation showed that both teachers and students showed positive responses to the application of the deep learning model. Therefore, it can be concluded that students of Muhammadiyah Purworejo Middle School can acquire better speaking skills with this model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan proses sains antara peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model discovery learning dan inquiry learning dan (2) mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif antara peserta didik yang menggunakan model discovery learning dan inquiry learning di SMP Negeri 1 Wonosari. Desain penelitian ini yaitu eksperimen semu dengan one case study dan pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel pada penelitian ini ialah kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen-1 menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen-2 menggunakan model pembelajaran inqury (structured inquiry). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah (1) lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains dan (2) soal pretest-posttest hasil belajar kognitif. Teknik analisis data meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji independent sample T-test menggunakan program SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan proses sains antara peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model discovery learning dan inquiry learning dengan nilai signifikansi 0,014; (2) tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif antara peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model discovery learning dan inquiry learning.Kata kunci: model discovery learning, model inquiry learning, keterampilan proses sains, hasil belajar kognitif

Abstract

Pemantauan tumbuh kembang anak merupakan salah satu kegiatan utama program perbaikan gizi, yang menitikberatkan pada upaya pencegahan dan peningkatan keadaan gizi anak. Stimulasi, Deteksi, Intervensi Dini Tumbuh Kembang (SDIDTK) perlu dilakukan agar tidak terjadi keterlambatan dalam  penanganan masalah tumbuh kembang anak. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh pada PAUD-TK Ash Shafiyah, pelaksanaan skrining tumbuh kembang anak sudah dilakukan secara rutin. Beberapa anak diantaranya mengalami permasalahan tumbuh kembang seperti hiperaktivitas, gangguan autisme, speech delay (keterlambatan berbicara), dan stunting. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan skrining SDIDTK meliputi pengukuran berat badan dan tinggi badan, lingkar kepala, pengukuran status gizi, pemantauan perkembangan motorik halus dan kasar, berbicara dan berbahasa, sosial kemandirian, TDL, TDD, mental emosional, autis, dan hiperaktif. Pemeriksaan dilakukan selama kurang lebih 30 menit, jika ditemukan gangguan maka hasil pemeriksaan akan langsung disampaikan pada guru, untuk selanjutnya diteruskan pada orangtua anak masing-masing, yang selanjutnya ditindaklanjuti oleh dokter atau pihak puskesmas. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini adalah 80% anak balita dan prasekolah perkembangannya sesuai, dan 20% anak perkembangannya meragukan.Kata Kunci: Pendampingan, SDIDTK, Balita, PrasekolahMonitoring child growth and development is one of the main activities of the nutrition improvement program, which focuses on efforts to prevent and improve children's nutritional status. Stimulation, Detection, Early Intervention for Growth and Development (SDIDTK) needs to be done so that there is no delay in handling child development problems. Based on the data obtained at the Ash Shafiyah PAUD-TK, screening for child growth and development has been carried out routinely. Some of these children experience growth and development problems such as hyperactivity, autism disorders, speech delays, and stunting. The methods used in SDIDTK screening activities include measuring body weight and height, head circumference, measuring nutritional status, monitoring fine and gross motor development, speech and language, social independence, TDL, TDD, mental emotional, autism, and hyperactivity. The examination is carried out for approximately 30 minutes, if disturbances are found, the results of the examination will be immediately conveyed to the teacher, to then be forwarded to the parents of each child, which will then be followed up by the doctor or the puskesmas. The results obtained from this activity are 80% of toddlers and preschoolers whose development is appropriate, and 20% of children whose development is doubtful. Keywords: Assistance, SDIDTK, Toddlers, Preschools

Abstract

Abstrak Latar Belakang : WHO mendorong kelanjutan menyusui selama pandemi tanpa memisahkan ibu dari bayinya, sambil tetap memperhatikan langkah pengendalian penularan yang tepat. WHO kembali memaparkan data berupa angka pemberian ASI eksklusif secara global, walaupun telah ada peningkatan, namun angka ini tidak meningkat cukup signifikan, yaitu sekitar 44% bayi usia 0-6 bulan di seluruh dunia yang mendapatkan ASI eksklusif selama periode 2015-2020 dari 50% target pemberian ASI eksklusif menurut WHO. Data Riskesdas yang diambil tahun 2017 sebesar 61,33%, dan pada tahun 2018 mengalami penurunan yang signifikan yaitu sebesar 37,3%. Jika dibandingkan dengan target yang ditetapkan oleh Kemenkes RI yaitu 80% maka, capaian ASI eksklusif di tingkat Indonesia masih belum memenuhi target. Masih rendahnya pemberian ASI eksklusif akan berdampak pada kualitas dan daya hidup generasi penerus. Tujuan umum pengabdian ini untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat tentang edukasi pemberian ASI Ekslusif pada ibu yang memiliki bayi berusia 0-6 bulan di masa pandemi. Maka dari itu kami memberikan edukasi tentang pemberian ASI Ekslusif pada ibu yang mempunyai bayi usia 0-6 bulan di masa pandemi Covid-19 secara door to door. Hasil dari Pelaksanaan Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat dosen Program Diploma III Kebidanan Universitas Almuslim  yaitu: didapati dari 6 orang ibu yang mempunyai bayi usia 0-6 bulan adalah mampu mengulang informasi yang telah kami berikan dengan seksama dan berjanji akan mengikuti saran dari kami dimana pemberian ASI Ekslusif sangat bermanfaat untuk bayi dan juga untuk ibu  sendiri. Kata Kunci : Edukasi, ASI Ekslusif, Pandemi Covid 19 , Desa Paya Meuneng

Abstract

Educational autonomy in Indonesia constitutes a strategic milestone in post-1998 educational reform, marked by a transition from a centralized to a decentralized system. This policy reflects the government’s commitment to promoting independence, participation, and accountability in educational governance at both regional and institutional levels. This study aims to examine the concept and implementation of educational autonomy while identifying the opportunities and challenges faced by Islamic educational institutions. Employing a qualitative-descriptive approach through library research, the study draws on regulatory and scholarly sources, including legislation, ministerial regulations, and recent academic literature. The findings reveal that educational autonomy provides substantial opportunities for Islamic educational institutions to foster curriculum innovation, strengthen community-based governance, and enhance educational quality in alignment with Islamic values. However, its implementation encounters significant challenges, including regional disparities in capacity, limited human resources, and weak coordination between local governments and the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The study concludes that the effectiveness of educational autonomy depends on stakeholder collaboration and institutional readiness to implement autonomy principles in a sustainable manner. This study contributes a policy-oriented framework that positions Islamic educational institutions as active actors in decentralized educational governance.

Abstract

Healthcare is an integral part of health development in Indonesia, which aims to optimally improve public health. Hospitals, as healthcare facilities, are required to provide quality, safe, and patient-centered services. Service quality is a key indicator of service success, as good service impacts patient satisfaction. One of the most important services in hospitals is obstetrics, which directly relates to maternal and infant health, making patient satisfaction a crucial aspect. Midwives, as professional healthcare workers, play a strategic role in providing comprehensive, sustainable, and patient-centered midwifery care. This study aims to analyze the influence of healthcare facilities and midwife performance on patient satisfaction through service quality. The method used is a quantitative study with an analytical approach and a cross-sectional design. The results of the multiple linear regression test indicate that midwife performance has a more dominant influence on service quality than healthcare facilities. Meanwhile, regarding patient satisfaction, service quality is the most dominant factor, followed by midwife performance and healthcare facilities. The conclusion of this study is that service quality reflects the overall patient experience and is a key factor in improving patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Intensifying competition in the culinary industry has encouraged business actors to develop experience-based and digital content–driven marketing strategies capable of capturing consumer attention, in line with the rise of viral marketing phenomena that combine creative on-site service with the dissemination of content via social media. This study aimed to analyze the influence of Performative Name Calling Service and Credibility Content on visiting decisions, with Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) as an intervening variable at Kedai Pinara Semarang. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey of 100 respondents who were social media users and had previously viewed Kedai Pinara’s promotional content, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The results showed that Performative Name Calling Service and Credibility Content had a positive and significant effect on E-WOM and visiting decisions. In addition, E-WOM had a positive and significant effect on visiting decisions and was able to mediate the influence of Performative Name Calling Service and Credibility Content on visiting decisions. These findings indicate that performative forms of service and credible digital content can strengthen online consumer-to-consumer communication, thereby increasing consumers’ interest in and decisions to visit. This study provides practical implications for culinary business actors to integrate unique service experiences with trustworthy digital content strategies to enhance consumer appeal and visitation.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and implement an artificial intelligence-based reading learning application using Deep Learning technology to enhance the literacy skills of eighth-grade junior high school students. The research employed the Kemmis & McTaggart Classroom Action Research model combined with a mixed-methods approach. Data collection involved pretests and posttests, complemented by observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The findings revealed that the use of this application significantly improved students' reading comprehension, question-answering skills, and overall engagement in the learning process. Key features of the application, such as adaptive learning technology, allowed for real-time adjustments to the difficulty level of the material, which catered to each student’s individual learning pace. Additionally, the provision of instant feedback enhanced the learning experience by helping students understand their progress and areas for improvement. These results suggest that the application is an effective tool in fostering literacy development and aligns with the goals of the Independent Curriculum. Consequently, this Deep Learning-based application offers a promising innovation for improving student literacy skills in the digital age.
