Abstract

This study aims to systematically review the literature on the influence of the integration of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) with digital technology on the mathematical critical thinking skills of secondary school students. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by examining primary studies obtained from Google Scholar, Scopus, and Web of Science published between 2020-2024. Articles were analyzed based on the year of publication, level of study, teaching materials, research methods, and research results. The results of the study show that the application of PBL based on digital technology is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills. The use of electronic LKPDs, digital pocketbooks, interactive e-modules, animated videos, and Classwiz emulators has been proven to support an active, collaborative, and meaningful learning process. The integration of digital technology in PBL not only increases the effectiveness of material delivery but also strengthens the internalization of concepts through learning experiences relevant to 21st century skills. This study concludes that PBL integrated with digital technology has a positive influence in improving the mathematical critical thinking skills of high school students.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy is an important competency in the 21st century curriculum that requires students to be able to connect mathematics with real life. However, the results of national and international assessments show the low mathematical literacy skills of Indonesian students. This study aims to examine how the Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) approach can be used to develop students' mathematical literacy. The method used is a systematic literature study, published between 2018 and 2025. The results of the study show that SRL can improve students' abilities in understanding, managing, and applying mathematical concepts in real contexts, through three main phases: planning (forethought), implementation (performance), and reflection (self-reflection). These findings provide strategic direction for the development of more independent, reflective, and contextual mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning strategies that have been implemented to improve the creative thinking skills of junior high school students in mathematics. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review of nine relevant scientific journals from 2018 to 2025. The results of this study show that the application of contextual approaches such as realistic mathematics, cooperative models such as Think Pair Share, and innovative learning media such as E-comics, regenerative STEM, and KOLANG comics have proven to be effective in developing creative thinking indicators, namely fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. In addition, internal student factors such as self-confidence and intrapersonal intelligence also play an important role in the creative thinking process. It was concluded that the combination of contextual learning, innovative media, and psychological factor support is the key to success in increasing the mathematical creativity of junior high school students.

Abstract

Mathematical communication skills play an important role in supporting conceptual understanding and improving student learning outcomes. This article aims to examine the effect of mathematical communication skills on student learning outcomes through a literature study approach. Data were collected from 20 scientific articles discussing the relationship between mathematical communication and learning outcomes. The results of the study indicate that mathematical communication skills have a significant influence on learning outcomes, both directly and through interactions with other variables such as self-confidence, learning interest, and learning independence. Interactive learning models such as Think Pair Share, Problem Based Learning, and Think Talk Write have proven effective in improving these abilities. Therefore, the development of mathematical communication should be a priority in learning to produce reflective, critical, and communicative students.
