Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the picture story book method on the vocabulary skills of children aged 5"“6 years at KB Abu Hurairah Malikian. The research method used is an experiment with a form of quantitative research. The data sources for this research were the children's test sheets and the observation sheets of the PAUD KB teacher Abu Hurairah Malikian. The results of the study showed that the pre-observation (pre-test) vocabulary skills in children obtained an average value of 8.45 with the ability of vocabulary skills in children (65%). While the ability of vocabulary skills in children after being given the story method treatment (post-test) obtained an average value of 11.55 with the ability of vocabulary abilities in children (86%). Children's learning outcomes experienced a greater increase, meaning that there was an influence of the picture story book method on the vocabulary abilities of children aged 5"“6 years at PAUD KB Abu Hurairah Malikian.

Abstract

Character education is the cultivation of character values which include various components such as knowledge, awareness or will, and actions to implement these values, both towards God Almighty, oneself, others, the environment and nationality. Storytelling is a method that can be used as a tool or bridge to achieve the vision and mission of character education because storytelling can be an effective method of conveying character values to children. This study aims to describe the implementation of character education using the storytelling method for children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Taman Pena, Kubu Raya Regency. In particular, this study aims to describe character education for hard work, independence and creativity. The methode used in this study is a descreiptive research method with a qualit approach. the data source consisted of 1 teacher in class B1 and 8 students as research subjects. After the data is collected, the data is presented to then draw a conclusion. The results of research on the character of hard work, independence and creativity are quite good. There are five steps in storytelling, namely determining the theme, setting goals, establishing the form of the story, supporting facilities and preparing the steps for assessing storytelling activities. It is hoped that teachers will add storytelling media that support and apply the five story methods to children according to the character they want to develop.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the teacher's role in introducing balanced nutritious food to children aged 5-6 years at PGRI Karya Nilam Kindergarten, Ketapang Regency. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative research form. The data source for this study was the B1 group teacher and the data consisted of observation sheets and the results of interviews with B1 group teachers as well as documentation of learning activities in class B1. The results of the study show: 1. The role as an inspiration in introducing balanced nutritious food, namely, the teacher sets an example and becomes a role model for children, for example, the teacher shows a good example to children with habituation, such as showing nutritious food supplies, showing types of balanced nutritious food, and shows people eating a nutritionally balanced diet; 2. The role of the teacher as a motivator in introducing balanced nutritious food to children, namely, providing encouragement and motivation to children so that children are always enthusiastic about learning, besides that the teacher also gives praise to children such as applause "thumbs up" praise if the child brings food supplies healthy at school; 3. The role of the teacher as a facilitator in the introduction of balanced nutritious food, namely, the teacher provides learning facilities to children with various interesting media in the form of healthy food story books, songs and videos regarding the introduction of balanced nutritious food.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai moral yang terkandung dalam Serial Upin dan Ipin Episode: Terima kasih Cikgu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data berupa kutipan dialog para tokoh yang mengandung nilai pendidikan moral dalam Serial Upin dan Ipin. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa teknik simak bebas libat cakap dan catat. Dari hasil analisis penulis dalam serial Upin dan Ipin terdapat nilai-nilai moral yang bisa diteladani seperti menghargai jasa guru, guru tidak hanya mengajar tetapi juga mendidik, jangan takut untuk memiliki cita-cita, kehangatan antara guru dan murid, tidak boleh mengolok-olok guru. Film animasi ini dikemas dengan sedemikian baik sehingga mampu memberikan keceriaan bagi siapa pun yang menonton ditambah lagi banyak sekali nilai-nilai pada episode-episode yang lain seperti nilai religius, toleransi beragama dan lain sebagainya. Implikasi penlitian ini menunjukkan bahwa serial animasi seperti Upin dan Ipin dapat berperan sebagai media efektif dalam menyampaikan nilai-nilai moral yang dapat diterima oleh berbagai kalangan, terutama anak-anak. Serial ini tidak hanya memberikan hiburan, tetapi juga membekali pemirsa dengan pemahaman tentang pentingnya menghargai jasa guru, memiliki cita-cita, serta menjaga hubungan yang harmonis antara guru dan muridThis research aims to describe the moral values contained in the Upin and Ipin Series Episode: Thank you Cikgu. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. This research uses data in the form of dialogue excerpts from characters which contain moral educational values in the Upin and Ipin series. The data collection technique used is a free, engaging, proficient listening and note-taking technique. From the results of the author's analysis in the Upin and Ipin series, there are moral values that can be emulated, such as respecting teachers' services, teachers not only teaching but also educating, don't be afraid to have ideals, warmth between teachers and students, don't make fun of teachers. . This animated film is packaged so well that it can provide joy for anyone who watches it, plus there are lots of values in the other episodes such as religious values, religious tolerance and so on. The implications of this research show that animated series such as Upin and Ipin can act as effective media in conveying moral values that can be accepted by various groups, especially children. This series not only provides entertainment, but also equips viewers with an understanding of the importance of appreciating teacher services, having ideals, and maintaining a harmonious relationship between teachers and students.

Abstract

This"study aims to determine the effec"of the project "ethod on the" social behavior"of children aged 5-6 years"at PAUD Pandu Pertiwi, Teluk Keramat District."The research method used is"an experimental method"with a"quantitative"research from. The subject"in this study were children aged 5-6 years in class B1"PAUD Pandu Pertiwi Teluk Keramat District, which were determined using a purposive sampling technique."The data collection tool"uses observation sheets and documentation which is then analyzed."The results showed that there was an effect"after the project method was applied to"the social" behavior of chlidren"aged 5-6 years at"PAUD Pandu Pertiwi, Teluk Keramat District."This can be seen from the average"social behavior of"children before and after"the application of the project method is from 1,17 to 1,23. Which means that the social behavior of children has increased."This is also"proven"from the results of hypothesis testing"obtained t_(hitung ) t_(tabel ), namely 3.225 2.160 then H_0rejected and H_a accepted. So the results and conclusions show"that the"project method influences the social behavior"of children aged 5-6 years"in PAUD Pandu Pertiwi, Teluk Keramat District.

Abstract

This research purposes tu describe the utilization of audiovisual media in developing listening skill of children aged 5 to 6 years at Kindergarten. The method of this research is descriptive with qualitative method. The subject of this research was Group B of teachers class at Kindergarten. The techniques to collecting data in this research were observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this research were (1) Planning the utilization of audio visual media, the teacher first prepared the tools and materials to be used such as projector, speaker, laptop, and learning videos according to the learning theme. (2) Implementing the utilization of audio visual media, the teacher displayed a learning video which has been downloaded from Youtube. (3) Evaluate the the utilization of audio visual media, the teacher assessed children worksheets. (4) Some factors inhibited the utilization of audio visual media were the limitations of the media and tools used such as projector and speaker, room lighting was too bright and the lack of teachers"™ understanding in using laptop.

Abstract

This study aims to develop animated video media for the development of cognitive aspects of children aged 5-6 years. This animated video media is expected to be feasible and make it easier for children to develop their cognitive aspects. The research conducted is a type of research and development or research and development (RD) using the ADDIE method (analysis, design, development and implementation, evaluation). The study population was children aged 5-6 years in a limited scale trial with a total of 5 children and a large scale trial with a total of 13 children. Data was collected by observation for needs analysis, questionnaire distribution and validation by validators, namely material experts and media experts. The results of the study obtained an average total score of 85% for material experts and 82.6% for media experts in the "very appropriate" category as an animated video medium. As well as the results of the final observation in the achievement of developing good animated video media and can be used to develop the cognitive aspects of children aged 5-6 years, with valid information.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the traditional Bakiak game for gross motoric development of children aged 5-6 years in kelurahan mariana kecamatan Pontianak kota. The method used is a qualitative method with descriptive approach. The data source of this research is children aged 5-6 years 6 people, 3 men, 3 women. Data collection tools through observation sheets, interview guidelines and documentation. Research result shows (1) this traditional Clog game has potential in develop aspects of child development including motor development namely strength, balance and agility. (2) the strength shown when the child is able to use his muscles to lift the Clogs then step one to the next, (3) the balance is shown in when a child walks using clogs by traveling the same distance determined without falling and walking in a straight line using sandals Clogs, (4) agility is shown when the child holds his feet to spin turn around without holding the Clogs and walk using the Clogs without holding his friend.

Abstract

This research aims to develop picture card puzzle game media to train early reading skills in children aged 5-6 years to determine the attractiveness and feasibility of use, and children after using picture card puzzle game media to train early reading skills in children. The method used by researchers is the development of Research and Development (RD), namely the development of picture card puzzle game media. This game media development model was developed based on the development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The data collection tools used were: first a material expert questionnaire and second a media expert questionnaire. The test subjects in this research were children in Gudang Hulu Village, Selimbau District. The results of the research developed obtained a design in the form of a picture card puzzle game media to train early reading skills in children aged 5-6 years. The percentage of eligibility is 96% by material experts, 87% by media experts. based on the results of the percentage that the media developed by the researcher was declared suitable for use as a learning medium.
