Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya fenomena yang terjadi pada siswa SMP N 3 Luhak Nan Duo meliputi masih ada beberapa siswa yang memiliki self esteem rendah dikarenakan terindikasi masih ada siswa yang suka menyendiri di dalam kelas. Terindikasi masih ada siswa yang tidak mau mencoba sesuatu yang baru karena takut gagal. Terindikasi masih ada siswa yang kurang memahami siapa dirinya. Terindikasi masih ada siswa yang suka mengejek temannya di kelas. Terindikasi masih ada siswa yang tidak mengikuti aturan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) Untuk mengetahui gambaran self esteem siswa kelas IX sebelum diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok. (2) Untuk mengetahui gambaran self esteem siswa kelas IX setelah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok. (3) Untuk mengetahui apakah layanan bimbingan kelompok efektif untuk meningkatkan self esteem siswa kelas IX SMP N 3 Luhak Nan Duo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis Pre-Experimental Design dengan menggunakan model One Group Pretest-Posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 siswa, teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 12 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kuisioner self esteem yang dikembangkan oleh penulis. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) gambaran self esteem siswa kelas IX sebelum diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok berada pada kategori sedang dengan meannya adalah 122.5. (2) gambaran self esteem siswa kelas IX sesudah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok berada pada kategori tinggi, dengan meannya adalah 127.8. (3) hasil uji wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa nilai Asymp. Sig 2-tailed 0.003 yang berarti lebih kecil dari 0.05. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok efektif untuk meningkatkan self esteem di SMP N 3 Luhak Nan Duo.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh remaja yang akan melanjutkan pendidikannya ke perguruan tinggi. Kelangsungan pendidikan pendidikan remaja tersebut tentu membutuhkan dukungan dari keluarganya agar pendidikannya berjalan dengan lancar. Sementara pendidikan orang tua remaja banyak yang hanya lulusan sekolah dasar serta pekerjaan orang tua banyak sebagai petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana bentuk dukungan keluarga pada kelangsungan pendidikan remaja di Jorong Koto Tuo Kenagarian Mungka Kecamatan Mungka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Informan kunci dalam penelitian ialah orang tua remaja yang anaknya melanjutkan pendidikannya ke perguruan tinggi sedangkan informan pendukung ialah remajanya sendiri. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrument wawancara dan observasi, sementara teknik analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data serta kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Sedangkan teknik pengujian keabsahan data melalui perpanjangan keikutsertaan, ketekunan pengamat, triangulasi, pengecekan sejawat dan kecukupan bahan referensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa remaja mendapatkan dukungan dari keluarganya dalam kelangsungan pendidikannya. Berdasarkan hasil observasi terlihat bahwa orang tua remaja berusaha menyediakan dan memenuhi fasilitas belajar serta biaya pendidikan anaknya dengan bekerja, selain itu juga terjalin komunikasi yang baik antara orang tua dengan anaknya serta orang tua ada memberikan hadiah serta pujian saat anaknya mendapatkan nilai belajar yang baik. Dari hasil wawancara juga diketahui bahwa orang tua lebih mendahulukan kebutuhan pendidikan anaknya dibandingkan kebutuhan lain. orang tua remaja juga memberikan nasehat serta saran dalam pendidikan anaknya, namun remaja terkadang tidak melakukan nasehat serta saran tersebut.

Abstract

This research is a pre-experimental research with a one group pre-test and post-test research design. The population in this study was 116 students and a research sample of 8 people was taken, using a purposive sampling technique, sampling based on considerations of student learning boredom. The technique for collecting data in this research is the Likert scale. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique in this research is the Wilcoxon signed rank test method with the help of Statistical Product And Service Solutions (SPSS) version 22. The research results are from the Wilcoxon (Z) value which shows that there is a difference between the pre-test and post-test. From the results of the Wilcoxon test calculation, the asymp sig value (0.012) is obtained, which means it is smaller than <a (a=0.05), which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. From the results of the Wilcoxon test calculations, it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' interest in learning at SMP N 3 Lubuk Suhuing through group tutoring services. Based on the research results, the results of interest in learning before treatment (Pretest) were obtained, namely a mean of 179.12, which is classified as in the medium category. Meanwhile, after the treatment (Posttest), the mean was 201.25, which is classified as high. Pretest and Posttest hypothesis testing, if converted to the Z value then the value is -2.521, the sig or p-value is 0.012 then Ha is accepted Ho is rejected, so there is a difference in students' interest in learning before and after being given treatment, namely group guidance services. This means that group guidance services have an influence on students' interest in learning at SMP N 3 Lubuk Sikaping. Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pre-test dan post-test. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu 116 siswa dan sampel penelitian sebanyak 8 orang diambil, dengan teknik purposive sampling, pengambilan sampel berdasarkan pertimbangan dari kejenuhan belajar siswa. Teknik dalam pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu skala likert. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu  metode Wilcoxon signed rank test dengan bantuan Statistical Product And Service Solutions (SPSS) versi 22. Hasil penelitian dari nilai Wilcoxon (Z) yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan antara pre-test dan post-test. Dari hasil perhitungan uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai asymp sig (0,012), yang artinya lebih kecil < a (a=0,05)  yang berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dari hasil perhitungan uji Wilcoxon dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan minat belajar siswa di SMP N 3 Lubuk Sikaping melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok. Beradsarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil minat belajar sebelum perlakuan (Pretest) yaitu mean 179.12 ini tergolong pada kategori sedang. Sedangkan setalah dilakukan perlakuan (Posttest) meannya menjadi 201.25 ini tergolong pada kategori tinggi. Uji hipotesis Pretest dan Posttest, apabila dikonversikan ke nilai Z maka besarnya -2.521, nilai sig atau p-value sebesar 0,012 maka Ha diterima Ho ditolak, sehingga ada perbedaan minat belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan yaitu layanan bimbingan kelompok. Artinya layanan bimbingan kelompok berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar siswa SMP N 3 Lubuk Sikaping.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is a problem related to deviant behavior, namely student cellphones containing pornographic images and videos, known by the search history on their smartphones. They save pornographic video sites and view them when the teacher is not around. There are students who cannot limit their association with the opposite sex and so on. The purpose of this study was to find out what the guidance and counseling teacher's efforts were to overcome pornographic behavior in students at SMP Negeri 1 Palupuh, Agam Regency. This type of research is a field research (Field Research) with a qualitative descriptive method, namely research that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior. Informants in this study were divided into two, namely key informants and supporting informants. The key informant is the guidance and counseling teacher, the supporting informant is six students. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study indicate that the efforts made by the guidance and counseling teachers to overcome pornographic behavior in students are using curative efforts. Curative effort is an activity or series of treatment activities to overcome a problem that occurs. In curative efforts there is an alleviation function where the alleviation function is an effort made to overcome problems through guidance and counseling services with the aim that deviant behavior does not occur again. Curative efforts are provided through basic services with individual counseling strategies, providing educational punishments to students and cooperating with related parties. Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of social support that students receive from their parents as a form of social support in choosing students' future careers. Facing the transition to the world of work, students face various problems entering the world of work. Social support, especially from parents, will assist students in overcoming difficulties of confusion in choosing a career, lack of information obtained, and strengthening skills in entering the world of work. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with percentage data analysis techniques. The population is Guidance and Counseling final-year students, totaling 95 people with a total sampling technique. The results of the study illustrate that 65 respondents received social support in the high category, 12 respondents were included in the very high category, 13 respondents were included in the sufficient category and 5 respondents received low social support from their parents. Of the five aspects of social support, emotional support is the highest with an average score of 20.21, appreciation support 20.47, instrument support 19.96, information support 18.98, and social network support 15.26. There needs to be an increase in social support in the aspect of social networking from parents because it will provide broad opportunities for students to enter the world of work later.

Abstract

Inequality in gender roles is still one of the causes of low psycho-social and sociocultural resilience in families. In response to this issue, the Family School Program is present to build equal gender partnerships and strengthen family resilience. This study used a quantitative approach with descriptive analysis, involving 86 purposively selected Family School participant families. The instrument used was the Family Resilience questionnaire from the Ministry of PPPA. The results showed that 77 families had implemented gender partnership, while 9 had not. A total of 54 families had socio-psychological resilience, and 73 families showed sociocultural resilience. Overall, 19 families were rated as low resilience, 63 as moderate, and only 3 as high. This research shows that most families are at the medium level of resilience. This study looks at the integration of gender and cultural perspectives in the context of family strengthening and contributes to more effective family-school development programs and psycho-social and local value-based interventions.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon that there are still many students at MTsN 6 Agam who are indicated to have low Self-Efficacy in dealing with learning situations. The aim to be achieved in this research is to find out whether there is an influence of Islamic group guidance on student Self-Efficacy at MTsN 6 Agam. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether the Islamic Group Guidance technique has a significant influence on the Self-Efficacy of class VII-8 students at MTsN 6 Agam. This type of research is pre-experimental research with a One Group Pretest Posttest Design model. The population is class VII students at MTsN 6 Agam, while the research sample is 10 students who have indicated Self-Efficacy problems based on a non-random sampling technique in the form of purposive sampling and the results of the pretest. Data collection in this research used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses the Wilcoxon test which requires the hypothesis to be accepted if the sig value is less than 0.05 and is assisted by the SPSS version 26 application. Based on the results of data analysis using the Wilcoxon test, the sig value is known. p-value is 0.005 ɑ (ɑ = 0.05) which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The results of the Wilcoxon test calculations can be concluded that Islamic group guidance can be an alternative for increasing student Self-Efficacy in class VII-8 MTsN 6 Agam.

Abstract

This study focuses on the impact of risky driving behavior, monotonous road and fatigue factor on vigilance of motor vehicle drivers. Accident case growth in Indonesia each year were 3.3%. Therefore it need to be conducted study to minimize the risk of accidents. The samples consist of 100 respondents. And then the data were analyzed using regression and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Regression analysis shows that latent variable risky driving behavior, latent variable monotonous road and latent variable fatigue can explain latent variable vigilance by 57.6%. Meanwhile, the result  of SEM analysis show that latent variable risky driving behavior, and the latent variable fatigue can explain the latent variable vigilance by 75.3%. The value R square of SEM analysis are higher than regression analysis. There are several cause of differences of R square between regression and SEM analysis, namely: 1) the multicollinearity is not allowed in regression analysis, while it is allowed in the SEM analysis; 2) there is no latent variable in the regression analysis, while there are latent variables and indicators of latent variables in the SEM analysis; 3) the regression analysis is explanatory, while the SEM analysis is confirmatory.

Abstract

This study is driven by growing concerns over the widespread influence of social media in students’ lives and its impact on academic performance and learning interest. Phenomena such as declining academic achievement and reduced concentration due to notification distractions during study sessions have become significant issues in educational settings. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of social media on students' academic performance and learning motivation at SMP Negeri 3 Kinali. A quantitative approach was employed using simple linear regression analysis. The sample consisted of 35 randomly selected students from a total population of 136. A Likert-scale questionnaire was used as the research instrument, and data were analyzed using an F-test. The findings indicate that social media significantly affects students' academic performance, with an F-value of 424.674 > F-table value of 4.15 and a significance level of 0.0001. The impact on learning motivation is also significant, as shown by an F-value of 246.006 > F-table value of 4.15 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Based on these results, the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected. The study concludes that uncontrolled use of social media negatively affects students’ academic performance and learning motivation. The implications suggest the need for intensive supervision by teachers and parents regarding social media use, as well as the importance of integrating educational approaches to promote its constructive use in the learning process.

Abstract

The low independence of students in learning is an activity that can be observed in learning. This is shown from the 10 eldest and youngest children that the writer observed, there were only 4 eldest children who did not do their own work, but sometimes asked others for help to take something, and the 6 youngest children who always did something always asked for help, and did not can do, both small and big things, meaning in terms of eating, ask for help to be taken by siblings or parents, and it is difficult to do something without encouragement from others. This type of research is a comparative descriptive study that aims to determine the differences in the independence of the eldest and youngest children. The research design used cross sectional (cross-sectional) because the research data (independent variable and dependent variable) were measured at the same time or for a moment. Based on the data processing used, this research is classified as quantitative research. The population in this study is the eldest child, and the youngest child in Say Paku, Kinali District, amounting to 112. The eldest child is 55 people, and the youngest child is 57 people. The data collection technique used is through recapitulation of independence questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses an independentsample T-test, but before testing the hypothesis, the requirements for analysis are tested for normality and homogeneity tests. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, the results of the tcount value of 6.111 at a significant level of 0.000 compared to the value in the t table with df = 110 located at the t-table value = 1.66 then the magnitude of the tcount value > ttable (6.111 > 1.66) can be seen Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a difference in the influence of the independence of the eldest child and the youngest child where the eldest child is more independent than the youngest child.
