Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop an assessment instrument for problem-based Phase B science learning that is valid, practical and effective for measuring the critical and creative thinking abilities of students in elementary schools. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D), with development design referring to Borg & Gall theory. The population in this study was class IV students at SDN 4 Bumi Waras Bandar Lampung. Data collection tools use valid and reliable test instruments. The final average validation results from material experts, evaluation experts and language experts obtained a score of 87.75% with very valid criteria. The test results for the educator practitioners were 83% and the students were 82% with very practical criteria. The data analysis technique uses the One-Sample Z-Test to determine the correctness of the results of the assessment scores with a significance level of 95% (α 0.05), with a significance value of 0.023 obtained, indicating that the sig. value < 0.05 means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so Effective assessment instrument for measuring students' critical and creative thinking abilities in elementary schools. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the assessment instruments for problem-based science learning are valid, practical and effective for measuring the critical and creative thinking abilities of students in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas aktivitas muhadharah dalam mengembangkan soft skill siswa di MTs Mamiyai Al-Ittihadiyah Bromo Medan, serta untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan kegiatan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif berbasis studi deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui tiga teknik utama: observasi langsung terhadap pelaksanaan aktivitas muhadharah, wawancara mendalam dengan guru, siswa, dan pihak madrasah untuk mendapatkan perspektif yang lebih kaya, serta studi dokumentasi untuk memperoleh data pendukung dari dokumen resmi sekolah. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan teknik Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi tiga tahap: reduksi data untuk menyaring informasi relevan, penyajian data dalam bentuk naratif dan tabel untuk memudahkan pemahaman, dan penarikan kesimpulan untuk mengidentifikasi temuan utama serta memberikan rekomendasi yang dapat diimplementasikan oleh pihak sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas muhadharah di MTs Mamiyai Al-Ittihadiyah Bromo Medan terdiri dari beberapa tahap, yaitu protokol/MC, tahfidz Qur’an, pidato dalam bahasa Indonesia, Inggris, dan Arab, pengarahan dari kepala madrasah atau guru, dan penutup dengan doa. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dua kali sebulan dengan siswa dari kelas yang berbeda secara bergantian. Upaya madrasah dalam mendukung pengembangan soft skill siswa melalui aktivitas muhadharah meliputi pelatihan, kerja sama antara wali kelas dan guru pembimbing, serta pemberian motivasi dan reward. Faktor pendukung mencakup antusiasme guru dan pihak madrasah, serta fasilitas dari yayasan yang mendukung kelancaran kegiatan. Faktor penghambat utamanya berasal dari siswa, seperti rendahnya motivasi, rasa malu dan kurang percaya diri, kurangnya persiapan, dan ketidakhadiran siswa yang bertugas pada saat kegiatan berlangsung. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya peran aktivitas muhadharah dalam mengembangkan soft skill siswa, serta faktor-faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat pelaksanaan aktivitas ini.

Abstract

Pendidikan bagi anak-anak sangat penting terkhususnya pendidikan karakter religius, untuk membuntuk moral seorang anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi program literasi Al-Qur'an dalam penguatan karakter religius siswa di SMP Swasta An-Nizam Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomologi dan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi, kemudian data yang sudah terkumpul dianalisis dan diuji keabsahan datanya agar penlitian lebih efektif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa program literasi Al-Qur'an berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang makna ayat, konsep-konsep Islam, dan aplikasi praktis dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hal ini tercermin dari peningkatan keterampilan membaca dan pemahaman siswa terhadap teks Al-Qur'an. Peningkatan ini diukur melalui hasil tes pemahaman, observasi kelas, dan umpan balik dari siswa, yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa lebih mampu mengaitkan ajaran Al-Qur'an dengan situasi sehari-hari mereka. Program ini juga berkontribusi pada penguatan karakter religius siswa dengan meningkatkan kesadaran spiritual dan kepatuhan pada ajaran agama. Peningkatan rasa percaya diri dalam membaca Al-Qur'an, serta pengembangan sikap seperti kejujuran, keikhlasan, dan kasih sayang, menunjukkan adanya dampak positif dari program terhadap karakter siswa. Data kualitatif, termasuk wawancara dengan guru dan orang tua, mengonfirmasi bahwa siswa menunjukkan perubahan perilaku yang konsisten dengan nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of parents in instilling discipline in children in the new normal period at SDN 373 Sikara-Kara II, Natal District, Mandailing Natal Regency. The problem focuses on three things: the role of parents, constraints and solutions. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The research informants comprised 15 parents with different educational backgrounds and children aged 7-12 years. The study results show that parents' role in instilling discipline in children during the new normal era is manifested in several ways: making simple rules, accustoming them to an orderly life, and setting an excellent example for children. In practice, parents also experience obstacles such as; limited time for parents to accompany their children and change the habits of children who are not suitable for the better. However, parents have solutions for dealing with these obstacles, such as sharing time between the roles of both parents in instilling discipline in children in the family, giving gifts to children who can carry out the rules that have been made, and establishing communication with teachers. So, cooperation is found in instilling discipline in children both in the family and school environments.

Abstract

Generasi Z (Gen-Z) merupakan kelompok masyarakat yang rentan terdampak oleh tekanan krisis akibat inflasi, terutama karena sebagian besar dari mereka masih berada dalam tahap awal membangun stabilitas finansial. Salah satu strategi yang dinilai efektif untuk mengantisipasi dampak inflasi adalah melalui kegiatan investasi. Gen-Z perlu memperkuat pemahaman mereka tentang keuangan dan memulai investasi sedini mungkin. Upaya ini tidak hanya berguna untuk menghadapi situasi ekonomi yang penuh tantangan saat ini, tetapi juga berperan penting dalam membentuk dasar yang kokoh menuju kemandirian finansial berkelanjutan di masa mendatang. Oleh sebab itu, Tim PkM kali ini akan melaksanakan program PkM yang bertujuan untuk memberikan penguatan kapabilitas mandiri finansial melalui literasi investasi di kalangan pelajar Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Kota Bandar Lampung. MAN 2 Bandar Lampung merupakan mitra PkM ini yang berperan sebagai peserta sasaran dan kolaborator yang menjadi wadah strategis untuk menanamkan nilai literasi keuangan berupa investasi sejak dini. Hasil dari terselenggaranya kegiatan PkM ini adalah adanya peningkatan sebesar 8% setelah dilakukannya sosialisasi tentang investasi saham dan emas, dengan kesimpulan bahwa kegiatan ini berjalan dengan efektif untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan dasar mengenai investasi sejak dini.

Abstract

Human Resources (HR) play a crucial role in the sustainable development of a company. Public Accounting Firm (KAP) partners need to maintain turnover intentions to enhance auditor staff loyalty. The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence on the influence of affective commitment and work-related stress on auditor turnover intention. The research method employed a survey. The convenience sampling method was chosen for the sampling technique, with the criteria being public accountants working at KAPs in Bandar Lampung City. The data used in this study were primary data collected through questionnaires. The Smart-PLS version 3.3.9 was used to process the collected primary data. The results showed a significant negative effect of affective commitment on auditor turnover intention. However, work-related stress had no effect on auditor turnover intention. The two independent variables in this study explained 50.7% of the external auditor turnover intention phenomenon, emphasizing the importance of understanding the behavior of public accountants working at KAPs. Suggestions for further studies include expanding the scope of independent variables influencing auditor turnover intention, such as auditor performance or job satisfaction. Thus, the results of this study can be the initial foundation for more in-depth research related to auditor turnover intention.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan nilai moderasi beragama di MTs Hidayatullah, Kecamatan Pringsurat, Kabupaten Temanggung, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dalam pengembangan nilai moderasi beragama serta strategi dan upaya dalam menanamkan nilai moderasi beragama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan penelitian lapangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Waka Kurikulum, Waka Kesiswaan, Pendidik Pendidikan Agama Siswa MTs Hidayatullah Kecamatan Pringsurat Kabupaten Temanggung.  Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa moderasi beragama yang berlandaskan prinsip wasathiyah (jalan tengah), tawazun (keseimbangan), dan i’tidal (keadilan) menjadi langkah strategis dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik, mencegah ekstremisme, serta menanggulangi berbagai krisis moral seperti kekerasan dan cyber crime. Upaya ini ditopang oleh payung hukum yang kuat, seperti UU Sisdiknas No. 20 Tahun 2003 dan Perpres No. 58 Tahun 2023 tentang Penguatan Moderasi Beragama. Implementasinya dilakukan secara holistik melalui lima jalur utama yaitu integrasi kurikulum (penyisipan nilai moderasi dalam PAI, SKI, dan mata pelajaran lain serta penguatan P5RA), kebijakan dan kepemimpinan (visi-misi yang menegaskan toleransi), penguatan pendidik (ideologi moderat, profesionalisme, dan keteladanan), budaya sekolah (iklim inklusif dan anti-diskriminasi), serta kegiatan ekstrakurikuler (pramuka dan OSIS sebagai media pembentukan nasionalisme dan keterampilan sosial). Meskipun demikian, implementasi moderasi beragama di sekolah menghadapi tantangan internal seperti pembelajaran yang masih bersifat teoretis dan resistensi pendidik, serta tantangan eksternal berupa pengaruh media digital yang tidak terfilter dan lingkungan sosial yang eksklusif. Oleh karena itu, strategi pengembangan moderasi beragama perlu dilakukan secara terpadu, berkelanjutan, dan partisipatif untuk membentuk siswayang toleran, religius, dan berwawasan kebangsaan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the number of poles on the output power of the Permanent Power Generator (PPG). PPG is an innovative renewable energy system that utilizes permanent magnets to generate continuous electrical power without relying on external fuel sources. This study uses an experimental approach using 1 mm diameter wire and three pole configurations (3, 6, and 9 poles) to determine the optimal configuration to maximize power output. Voltage and current measurements were taken using a digital multimeter, and the power output was calculated using the formula P=V×I. The results showed that an increase in the number of poles significantly increased the generator's power output. The highest performance was achieved with a 9-pole configuration and a 1 mm wire diameter. These findings support the basic principles of electromagnetism, where a decrease in coil resistance and an increase in magnetic field frequency contribute to higher energy conversion efficiency. This study is expected to contribute to the development of environmentally friendly power generation systems and serve as a valuable reference in the design of high-power, high-efficiency generators for future renewable energy technologies.

Abstract

Generation Z is now facing a paradox in lifelong learning activities. While they have access to a wealth of information, they are also surrounded by the threat of hoaxes and the uncertainty surrounding scientific authority due to the dominance of influencers. It has been proven that relying solely on technical digital literacy skills is insufficient to solve this fundamental problem. This study offers a solution: re-examining the values of Islamic education (tarbawi) in the Qur'an and Hadith as a foundation of knowledge for the digital generation. Using a qualitative approach based on a literature study, this research thoroughly analyses QS. Al-Hujurat: 6 and QS. An-Nahl: 43. This analysis uses a thematic and analytical approach, referring to Tafsir Al-Mishbah by M. Quraish Shihab and supporting Hadith literature. The results of the study show that: (1) tabayyun is not only about checking facts; it is also a behavioural approach that encourages restraint on social media, and (2) the synergy between the concept of ahl al-dzikr and the principle of sanad results in digital sanad logic: a method of assessing the veracity of knowledge based on the credibility of the expert rather than its popularity. The study concludes that integrating these two values is crucial in providing Generation Z with an internal filter to help them grow into critical and original learners.

Abstract

Rapid exposure to digital communication has increased students’ use of English slang, yet its role in EFL classroom interaction remains insufficiently mapped across diverse contexts. Although studies have examined isolated aspects such as usage patterns or motivational effects, evidence remains fragmented, geographically uneven, and inconsistent in its implications for pedagogy. Responding to this gap, the present scoping review synthesizes two decades of research on the use of English slang in EFL classroom interactions, examining usage patterns, perceived benefits and challenges, and links to motivation and participation. A systematic search across four databases identified 23 eligible studies published between 2004 and 2024. Narrative and thematic synthesis revealed that slang use is pervasive in peer interaction and strongly shaped by social media exposure, with students demonstrating pragmatic awareness by shifting between formal and informal registers depending on context. Strong evidence indicates that slang can enhance engagement, social connection, confidence, and willingness to communicate, while also reducing language anxiety. However, students frequently struggle with determining appropriate contexts for slang use, and teachers express uncertainty regarding instructional boundaries. These findings suggest that slang represents an authentic linguistic resource that, when addressed through explicit instruction in register and pragmatic competence, can support communicative development. While methodological limitations and uneven research contexts remain, this review provides the first comprehensive mapping of the field and identifies a clear agenda for future inquiry into classroom practice, teacher training, and long-term learning outcomes.
