Abstract

This article discusses the potential and challenges of improving the accessibility of education in developing countries through the use of technology. With technology, traditional obstacles such as limited physical resources and teaching staff can be overcome, enabling wider and more equitable access to high-quality educational materials. However, significant challenges remain, including limited technological infrastructure, low levels of digital literacy, and resistance to change from the traditional education system. To overcome these obstacles, collaborative efforts are needed between the government, the private sector, and international organisations in building adequate infrastructure, providing digital literacy training, and implementing policies that support the accessibility of technology-based education. With a sustainable and strategic approach, technology can play an important role in improving the quality and accessibility of education in developing countries. The study in this research uses the literature method. The literature research method is an approach used to collect, review, and analyse various written sources, such as books, journal articles, research reports, and other documents relevant to a particular research topic. Research shows that improving the accessibility of education in developing countries through technology offers great potential for overcoming traditional obstacles, such as limited physical resources and teaching staff. The implementation of technology is able to provide high-quality educational materials more widely, enabling students from remote areas to access the same information as students in large cities.

Abstract

This article examines the state of education in Indonesia in 2023, focusing on both the challenges and opportunities facing the system. Education in Indonesia has undergone significant transformation over the past decade, but several barriers remain, such as disparities in access, quality, and infrastructure between urban and rural areas. Despite these challenges, recent reforms and the increased use of technology have provided promising avenues for improvement. The study analyzes the national education policies, including the impact of the Merdeka Curriculum, and evaluates the role of digital learning platforms in addressing the educational needs of Indonesia’s vast population. Additionally, the article highlights key issues such as teacher training, student engagement, and education for sustainable development. By examining both the progress made and areas requiring further attention, this paper offers a comprehensive view of the Indonesian educational system in 2023. The findings suggest that while substantial improvements have been made, systemic inequities and the rapid pace of technological integration pose both challenges and opportunities for educators, policymakers, and students alike.

Abstract

This article aimed to promote English in elementary school students through a fun learning method, called the Fun English Camp. Several studies had been conducted to encounter the best solution to handle this issue. The researchers used PRISMA Protocol as an instrument to collect the data that has been widely used in the process of selecting relevant articles. The researchers reviewed twenty five scientific publications, related to Fun English Camp that has become an English learning approach for beginner students. Through a review of twenty five scientific publications, for instance book and journal, the researchers got scientific evidence that introduction of a learning method with the term Fun English camp has an impact on promoting language learning for elementary school children in Indonesia. Thus, the fun English camp method can be an interesting method to be applied by elementary school curriculum design in Indonesia. Keywords: English Camps, Learning Method, Fun English Learning

Abstract

Indonesian students' mathematical literacy skills remain low, especially in spatial geometry, which requires visualization and a deep understanding of concepts. Conventional learning methods that focus on procedures and memorizing formulas have not been able to facilitate optimal knowledge construction, giving rise to various misconceptions. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model integrated with the STEM approach and its effect on students' conceptual understanding of spatial geometry. The research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method of national and international journal articles published in the last ten years. The data were analyzed using content analysis to identify consistent patterns of findings related to PjBL-STEM in geometry learning. The synthesis results show that PjBL-STEM significantly improves students' conceptual understanding, mathematical creative thinking skills, and spatial visualization. Contextual project-based learning shifts the learning orientation from memorization to conceptual understanding through activities of designing, constructing, and analyzing real objects. PjBL-STEM is a relevant approach to improve conceptual understanding and develop 21st-century skills. Its success requires careful planning, adequate teacher competence, and facility support for sustainable implementation.

Abstract

This study analyses strategies for optimising the readiness of educators and learners to utilise responsible artificial intelligence (AI) in the learning environment through a literature review, focusing on mitigating the risk of plagiarism, strengthening academic integrity, and improving data literacy capacity. Findings from two main discussions show that an integrated approach—covering strict institutional policies such as AI codes of honour, authentic task design, advanced plagiarism detection technology, and data literacy frameworks such as the AILit Framework and H-AI-H model—effectively reduces plagiarism incidents by up to 40% while building students' cognitive resilience through personalised ethical learning and interdisciplinary training. This study recommends a layered national Responsible AI Use Framework for Indonesia, including mass teacher training, standardised anti-plagiarism guidelines, and a mandatory data literacy curriculum, to realise an inclusive education ecosystem in line with the Merdeka Curriculum and the 2045 golden generation vision.

Abstract

Digital technologies have transformed the dynamics of social solidarity across the globe. This research examines this transformation in depth, taking into account the challenges and opportunities it creates. The literature review shows that cyberspace has a strong influence in strengthening the bonds of community across borders. Virtual communities of citizens have sprung up with ease, allowing cross-cultural interactions to take place more smoothly. Social networking sites facilitate collaboration and human connection on an unprecedented scale. However, digital porch technology has also created significant problems. One of the main issues relates to the risk of polarization due to automated filtration systems that tend to reinforce one-sided perspectives and "viewpoint overflow". Privacy of personal data and security of personal information are also serious issues, given the large volume of intimate data that users share on various online pages. Disparities in access to digital technology also remain a problem, leaving certain groups isolated from the times.
