The aim of the research is to describe the learning outcome of the “shape and space of Geometry” by using Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach at 5th grade of SDN 08 Campago Ipuh, Bukittinggi. The subjects of the research were the teacher and 21 students of the school. The result of the research show that there is an improvement on stundents learning outcome. In cycle I the average score is 72.46%, while in cycle II is 87.75%. thus, the use of Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach has improved the students learning outcome in leraning the topic of shape and space geometry at 5th grade of SDN 08 Campago Ipuh, Bukittinggi.Keywords: Learning outcomes, shape and space of geometry, Contextual Teaching and Learning approaches

This research is motivated by integrated thematic learning that has not been well implemented, is still in the process of improving. This causes the integrated thematic learning process to be carried out to the maximum. The purpose of this study, to improve the integrated thematic learning process using the Discovery Learning model. This type of research is classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was conducted in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The results of the study showed an increase in: (1) the learning plan, namely cycle I obtained a percentage of 83.33% (Good), cycle II obtained a percentage of 97.2% (Very Good). (2) the implementation of learning cycle I obtained a percentage of 79,7% , cycle II obtained a percentage of 96,9% (Very Good). It can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model can improve the integrated thematic learning process in elementary schools.

The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of IPS learning outcomes by using Problem Solving method in class IV SDN 04 2x11 EnamLingkung. The type of research is class action research, using qualitative and quantitative approach, done with two cycles that is cycle I and cycle II. Increased: at planning 69,65% to 92,57%, teacher aspects 72,09% to 87,6%, student aspect 70% to 88,6%. It can be concluded that problem solving method can improve student learning result of IPS. This research was motivated by the lack of the use of learning models in the learning process on fraction material that causes students’ learning outcomes to be low. This study aims to fine out the effect of using Polya model on learning outcomes on multiplication and division problem in grade V SD group VI Akabiluru District. The research design was quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The sampel of the research was grades of SDN 02 Suayan. Moreover, the result showed that there was an influence on the use of Polya model on students’ learning outcomes. The result t-test on α 0.05 and df 16 of was obtained tcount (2,33) ≥ ttable (2.04) and the average experimental class was 70.3 and 46.1 in control class.Keywords : polya model, question of the story multiplication and division, learning outcomes.

The purpose of this research was to describe the improvement of students’ learning outcomes in learning natural science by using inquiry learning strategy in the fourth grade. This was a classroom action research which applied qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subject of the research was teacher and 15 students. The students’ average score improve from 68,26 (adequate) in the first cycle into 76,49 (adequate) in the second cycle. It means the inquiry learning strategy successfully improves the students’ outcomes in learning natural science in the fourth grade of Elemantary School.Keywords : inquiry learning strategy

This study is aimed to use the Polya strategy to improve student learning outcomes in solving the word problem volume of cubes and beams in class V SD.The research subjects were 28 grade V students. The implementation is done in two cycles with the procedure consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflectoin The implementation is done in two cycles with the research procedure consist of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.n. The results showed an increase from the results: a) RPP I of the average cycle of 85.71% (B), cycle II 92.86% (A), b) the implementation of aspects of the teacher the first cycle an average of 81.25% (B), and the second cycle 93.75% (A), c) the implementation of the aspects of the first cycle students on average 78.12% (B), and the second cycle 93.75% (A), d) results student learning cycle I average 75.52 and cycle II 89.37. The conclusion of the results of the study is that by using the policy strategy to improve student learning outcomes in solving the problem of the story problems of the volume of cubes and beams in class V SDN 07 Nan Sabaris. This research aims at finding out the effects of applying the NHT model toward the students’ learning outcomes of Civics subject at class V of SDN 09 Bandar Buat. The population of this quasi experiment research was all grade students of the school with the total number of 56 students. The samples were Class VA and VB. Data were obtained from a pretest and a posttest. They were analized by using the inferential statistics (t-test). The analysis shows that the score of tcount = 1.772 while P-Value = 0.082. Since the score P-Value is lower that α = 0.05, the H1 hypothesis is accepted. Keywords: the NHT Model, Learning Outcomes, effect, PKn

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of the Indonesian realistic education approach to the learning outcomes of fractions worth of students in class IV SDN 16 Tarok Dipo. The form of this research design is quasi experimental research of type non equivalent control group design. The sample in this study is class IVA and class IVB. The results of the calculation of the research data used is the t-test obtained by t count 3,08 > t table 1.67 at the level of α 0.05. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the PMRI approach to the learning outcomes of fractions worth of students in class IV SDN 16 Tarok Dipo. Abstract The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of learning outcomes of symmetry using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach at grade five-A of SDN 06 Padang Besi, Padang City. The subjects of this study were teacher and 23 students. The type of the research used was classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was conducted in two cycles. The results showed: a) lesson plans in cycle 1 was 83,9% and increased to 94.6% in cycle 2, b) aspects of teacher in cycle 1 that is 83,7% and increased to 95% in cycle 2, c) aspects of students in cycle I, 82,5%, increased to 93,8% in cycle 2, d) the average of students’ learning outcomes in cycle 1 was 73,4 and increased to 87,1 in cycle 2. It could be concluded that the CTL approach can improve symmetry learning outcomes at grade five-A SDN 06 Padang Besi Padang City. Keywords: Symmetry, CTL approach

The purpose of this research was to describe the improvement of students’ learning result by using the constructivism approach. This research was a classroom research using qualitative and quantitative approach. The subject of the research were teacher and 25 students. The result in cycle I lesson plane assessment was 77%, teacher’s activity was 73%, student’s activity74%, and the learning result was 46%. It improved in cycle II became 97%, 86%, 93% and 82%. In conclusion, constructivism approach in learning science subject was success to improve the student’s learning result in elementary school.
