Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly being used in various fields in the ever-growing digital era, including human resource management (HR). AI technology can solve problems such as long recruitment processes and retaining quality employees. The aim of this research is to find out how AI can improve this process. The focus of the research is how AI can be used to identify, assess and manage talent across organizations. The aim of this research is to see how AI functions in the employee acquisition and retention process. Specifically, the goal of this research is to identify how AI is used in the recruitment process to find and assess the right candidates, evaluate how effective the use of AI is in increasing employee satisfaction and engagement, and see how implementing AI impacts employee retention in the long term. Qualitative and quantitative methods were combined in a mixed approach in this research. HR managers and employees applying AI in recruitment and retention processes in various companies were thoroughly interviewed. Currently, surveys distributed to employees are used to collect quantitative data to measure employee satisfaction and engagement levels. For qualitative and quantitative data, thematic analysis and inferential techniques were used. The research results show that AI can be used in the recruitment process to reduce the time and costs required to find the right candidate. AI also helps reduce bias in candidate assessments, meaning better hiring decisions. Additionally, the use of AI in employee management increases employee satisfaction and engagement as it enables career development and work experiences tailored to them. According to survey results, employees who work with AI systems feel more valued and have better relationships with their organizations. The study found that AI significantly improves the efficiency and effectiveness of talent acquisition and retention processes. The use of AI not only speeds up and simplifies the recruitment process, but also increases employee satisfaction and their retention.

Abstract

Kemampuan intuisi memiliki peranan penting dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematis. Oleh karena itu, dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Snow Cube Throwing Berbasis Eksplorasi (SCTBE). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan intuisi matematis dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran SCTBE serta untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan intuisi matematis siswa dengan model pembelajaran SCTBE lebih baik daripada kelas dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent pretest and posttest control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Terpadu Bandung dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPS 1 dan X IPS 2. Intrumen yang dugunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes berupa soal uraian untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan intuisi matematis siswa. Berdasarkan analisis hasil penelitian menggunakan software SPSS 23 bahwa 1) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan intuisi matematis siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran SCTBE. 2) peningkatan kemamapuan intuisi matematis siswa dengan model pembelajaran SCTBE lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Background. Mathematics learning in elementary schools (SD) often requires innovative approaches to increase student engagement. With the development of technology, the use of social media as a learning tool is starting to become the focus of research to increase students' learning motivation in mathematics. Purpose. The research aims to measure how much influence the use of social media has in increasing students' motivation in learning mathematics in elementary school, as well as providing a concrete understanding of the relationship between social media and motivation to learn mathematics. Method. A quantitative approach using a survey model is used to examine the impact of social media on student motivation. Questionnaires were distributed to elementary school teachers and mathematics education students via Google Form and WhatsApp (WA) groups. Research ethical principles were upheld, and data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's qualitative data analysis techniques. Results. The majority of respondents gave a positive view of the influence of social media in mathematics learning. However, there are a small number who feel that social media can interfere with studying concentration. The integration of social media needs to be considered wisely to minimize risks and maximize its benefits in mathematics learning. Conclusion. The research results show that social media has great potential in increasing students' motivation in learning mathematics in elementary school. However, its use needs to be managed wisely and responsive to student needs and preferences. Social media integration can be an interesting and effective learning alternative in the context of mathematics learning at school.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Differentiated Instruction (DI) by teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Kongbeng and its impact on the participation of students with different learning styles. Departing from the challenge of learning style diversity that is often overlooked in conventional teaching approaches, this study emphasizes the importance of adaptive and responsive strategies to students' individual needs. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation studies of teaching materials. The results showed that teachers began to implement differentiation in content, processes, and learning products, but the implementation was still varied and limited. Inhibiting factors included limited training, administrative burden, and lack of structural support and policies that supported DI. However, several local innovations such as learning stations began to show positive impacts on student engagement. These findings underline that the success of DI depends not only on the method, but also on the teacher's pedagogical competence and systemic support. Therefore, the implementation of DI requires synergy between increasing teacher capacity, reforming education policies, and providing adequate resources in order to realize equitable, participatory, and transformative learning, especially in the context of non-urban schools such as SMP Negeri 1 Kongbeng.

Abstract

Tuntutan kurikulum 2013 yang berlaku saat ini adalah kemampuan peserta didik dalam mencapai high order thinking skills (HOTS), sementara guru masih mengalami kesulitan dalam pembuatan alat evaluasi berupa instrumen tes. Salah satu kemampuan yang termasuk kemampuan HOTS adalah kemampuan berpikir kritis. Pembuatan alat evaluasi yang memenuhi HOTS merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi guru, begitupun dalam pembuatan instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis, maupun untuk mata pelajaran lainnya.Permasalahan ini muncul sejak tahun 2017 bahwa pelaksanaan penyelenggaraan UNBK sudah menerapkan ujian tulis dalam bentuk HOTS, keadaan ini menyebabkan peserta didik mengeluh dengan soal yang terlalu sulit dan dipandang tidak sesuai dengan apa yang diajarkan di kelas, sementara dipihak lain guru juga banyak berhadapan dengan permasalahan pembelajaran, apalagi dalam pembuatan alat evaluasi tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, karena selama ini belum ada pendampingan dan pelatihan dalam pembuatan instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Matematika adalah salah satu mata pelajaran yang wajib diberikan sejak pendidikan dasar hingga pendidikan tinggi. Memperhatikan karakteristik matematika sebagai ilmu yang makin lama makin sulit, maka umumnya peserta didik menyukai matematika pada saat peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam mempelajari matematika, keadaan ini apabila tidak diatasi dengan segera maka akan berdampak pada pembelajaran matematika selanjutnya. Sementara mata pelajaran matematika adalah salah satu mata pelajaran yang diuji secara nasional. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan bagian dari keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau high order thinking skills (HOTS), permasalahan ini muncul sejak tahun 2017 bahwa pelaksanaan penyelenggaraan UNBK sudah menerapkan ujian dengan bentuk high order thinking skills (HOTS), keadaan ini menyebabkan peserta didik mengeluh dengan soal-soal yang diberikan terlalu sulit dan dipandang tidak sesuai dengan apa yang diajarkan di kelas. Sementara di pihak lain banyak sekali permasalahan yang dihadapi guru selama melaksanakan pembelajaran, apalagi dalam pembuatan alat evaluasi tes HOTS khususnya soal kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis, karena selama ini belum ada pendampingan dan pelatihan dalam pembuatan instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis. Sekolah Menengah Pertama yang menjadi mitra merupakan sekolah yang terus berkembang dengan pendanaan untuk pengembangan fisik maupun untuk pengembangan guru-gurunya sangat bergantung dari dana yang berasal dari dana masyarakat khususnya dari siswa, maka sangat membutuhkan dorongan dan sekaligus bantuan dalam upaya meningkatkan kinerja para guru sehingga dapat menghasilkan pesera didik yang dapat dibanggakan. Hal ini sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan yang diinginkan pemerintah.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Game Based Learning model to improve the math counting skills of grade II students in elementary schools, especially in subtraction operations. The background of this research is the finding of problems in the field that the math arithmetic skills of grade II students are still relatively low, the problem is thought to be due to the lack of students' willingness to work on math problems. This study used a quasi-experimental method, with a research design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design, because the sampling used purposive sampling technique or sampling was not randomized. The research instruments used are observation and tests. The nature of the research used is quantitative, so data analysis is carried out using statistical tests with the help of IBM SPSS 22 software. The tests carried out are normality test, homogeneity test, t test, and N-Gain test. The results showed that there was an increase in the math counting ability of grade II students in elementary schools after the application of the Game Based Learning learning model. In addition, there is a significant difference in students' math counting skills between the experimental class using the Game Based Learning learning model and the control class using the conventional model. The application of Game Based Learning also shows the involvement and active participation of students.

Abstract

STEM education in elementary schools requires the pedagogical readiness of PGSD teachers as the main foundation for successful implementation. Teachers play a strategic role as facilitators connecting concepts in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics with meaningful learning experiences. However, various studies indicate that teachers' STEM literacy is still limited, particularly in integrating theory with practice, resulting in conventional learning that does not foster critical, creative, and collaborative thinking skills. Other obstacles arise from limited facilities, a lack of supporting resources, and limited access to relevant digital learning resources. Furthermore, general and unsustainable teacher training leads to low confidence in designing project-based learning. Resistance to methodological changes also slows STEM adoption, primarily due to administrative burdens and a school culture that remains solely focused on academic achievement. To address this, strategies to strengthen teacher competency are needed through practice-based training, ongoing mentoring, the development of learning communities, and the use of digital technology. Collaboration with universities and industry is also crucial in enriching teachers' STEM literacy. This study uses a qualitative literature review to map the readiness, obstacles, and strategies for strengthening PGSD teacher competency. The study results confirm that teachers' pedagogical readiness is a crucial prerequisite for STEM to truly become a means of transforming 21st-century education, not just a formal discourse.

Abstract

The educational process aims to change human life in a better direction. In Islam, humans are caliphs on earth, so they are responsible for civilization here. With the continuous development of the times, the government enforces an independent learning curriculum for good achievements. The independent curriculum, coupled with current digital developments, provides students with active, creative, innovative, and critical thinking about learning, especially in Islamic education. The paradigm of modern Islamic religious education in the digital era as a form of novelty to achieve good competence in the digital world. So this research aims to explore Islamic religious education involving the independent learning curriculum in the digital era, with produce findings about the implementation of Islamic education and the preparation of religious education to continue to develop in adjusting the continuity of education in the digital era. The data obtained from this study used library data available in books, articles, online media source documents, and other reliable sources.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan desain grafis para pendidik melalui pemanfaatan aplikasi Canva dalam penyusunan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 14 Desember 2023 melalui platform Zoom, melibatkan 32 peserta dari berbagai latar belakang pendidikan. Metode kegiatan mencakup persiapan, presentasi teori, demonstrasi praktis, serta sesi praktik bersama. Hasilnya mencakup peningkatan keterampilan desain grafis, pemahaman konsep desain visual, dan kemampuan peserta dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Kegiatan ini juga membentuk jaringan dan komunitas antar peserta.
