Abstract

BackgroundProgesterone (P4) is known as a female hormone affecting oocyte maturation and developing uterine wall. A proteomic study identified several receptors including P4 receptors on human sperm. The role of P4 in human sperm cells remains unknown as to whether P4 has non-genomic effects on human sperm. The present study aims to determine the effect of progesterone (P4) on the hyperactivated motility and membrane integrity of human sperm cells.MethodsSemen from normal individuals was obtained from donors. The semen was washed by gradient density centrifugation. P4 was added to each semen sample to final concentrations of 0 (control), 250, 500, 750 and 1000 ng/mL. After the sample treatment was completed, the sperm membrane integrity was assessed with the hypoosmotic swelling test (sodium citrate dihydrate and D-fructose) and the hyperactivated sperm motility parameter was determined with the Computer Assisted Sperm Analyzer [CASA] (Hamilton Thorne, IVOS II, USA). The percentage was then compared between the treatment groups and the control group. The percentage differences were analyzed with the Sigmastat version 2.0 statistical program.ResultsAdministration of P4 increased sperm hyperactivated motility when compared with the control group at a concentration of 500 ng/mL, but the increase was statistically not signicant (p>0.05). In contrast, P4 decreased sperm membrane integrity significantly (p=0.042). And the mean of plasma membrane integrity in all groups was subnormal hypoosmotic swelling test score. ConclusionProgesterone administration tends to increase sperm hyperactivated motility. The integrity of plasma sperm membrane was affected by progesterone.

Abstract

Worm disease still a serious problem and is second health problem in Indonesia come after malnutrition. Cumulative worms in human body can cause loss of substances that are useful for growth. The Filariasis and Worm Worms Sub-Directorate of P2PL stated that the prevalence of worm diseases in Pandeglang Regency was 58.3%. Various worm larvae were found when examining soil samples taken at the homes of residents of Sukasari, Pulosari, Pandeglang villages. The aim of this community service (PKM) is to increase knowledge about worm diseases. This Community Service Method (PKM) uses the counseling or lecture method by the presenter. Before and after counseling, residents were given a questionnaire to measure their level of knowledge about worm diseases. Residents' knowledge increased after being given counseling and it is hoped that this can help the community to prevent the emergence of worm diseases in the future.

Abstract

AbstrakHipertensi atau darah tinggi biasanya ditandai dengan peningkatan tekanan darah diatas normal, yaitu > 140/90 mmHg. Hipertensi sering menyebabkan komplikasi penyakit lain.Provinsi Banten memiliki prevalensi penderita hipertensi sebanyak 27.6% kasus. Desa Karyawangi memiliki penduduk sebanyak 2.881 orang dan memiliki fasilitas kesehatan puskesmas 1 buah dan posyandu sebanyak 6 buah. Masalah kesehatan dapat timbul akibat tidak meratanya fasilitas kesehatan dibandingkan dengan jumlah penduduk yang ada. Tujuan: mengetahui gambaran tingkat tekanan darah dan prevalensi penyakit di desa Karyawangi sebagai gambaran kepada pihak pemerintah setempat untuk dilakukan intervensi berikutnya dalam rangka membangun desa sehat. Metode: Kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan dengan metode berupa pengobatan gratis.  Khalayak yang disasar adalah masyarakat umum di wilayah kerja desa Karyawangi yang datang ke tempat pengoatan gratis. Dari hasil pemeriksaan oleh dokter umum didapatkan diagnosis suatu penyakit yang digunakan sebagai gambaran tingkat tekanan darah dan prevalensi tekanan darah di desa Karyawangi. Hasil: Tingkat tekanan darah pada tingkat normal yang paling banyak ditemukan. Prevalensi penyakit terbanyak adalah hipertensi grade II, hipertensi grade I, dan ISPA. Kesimpulan: Mayoritas tingkat tekanan darah pada tingkat normal. Penduduk dengan tingkat tekanan darah pre hipertensi perlu dicermati terus menerus karena walaupun belum dalam tingkat hipertensi, resiko menderita penyakit kardiovaskuler juga dapat terjadi. Dengan mengetahui gambaran tingkat tekanan darah dan prevalensi penyakit terbanyak di desa Karywangi, puskesmas setempat dapat melakukan intervensi yang terarah. Hal yang paling mudah adalah melakukan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat dengan metode ceramah.

Abstract

Adapun rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengaruh tata ruang kantor dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Enseval Putera Megatrading, Tbk Cabang Pematangsiantar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan dan penelitian lapangan. Populasinya adalah karyawan PT Enseval Putera Megatrading, Tbk Cabang Pematangsiantar yang berjumlah 84 orang. Data yang digunakan adalah data dengan cara kualitatif dan data kuantitatif, dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara kuesioner, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Kemudian teknik analisa data menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisa dari regresi linier berganda yaitu Ŷ=15,639 + 0,911X1 + 0,212X2artinya terdapat pengaruh positif antara tata ruang kantor dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kekuatan hubungan ketiga variabel adalah sangat kuat, yaitu r =0,681. Dari koefisien determinasi dapat dijelaskan tinggi rendahnya kinerja karyawan 46,4%, dan sisanya 53,6% dijelaskan oleh faktor lainnya yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Dari hasil pengolahan dan perhitungan kuesioner, penulis mendapatkan kesimpulan bahwa tata ruang kantor dan lingkungan kerja yangditerapkanPTEnseval Putera Megatrading, Tbk Cabang Pematangsiantar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui uji hipotesis secara simultan, dimana hasil uji fhitung (35,054) > ttabel (3,11) dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 < alpha 0,05.

Abstract

The result of this research: 1.Compensation and work environment is good and the job satisfaction is already categorized as satisfied. 2. The results of multiple regression analysis is: Ŷ=7,358 + 0,756X1 + 0,532X2, meaning that there is positive influence between compensation and work environment on job satisfaction. 3. Analysis coefficient is r = 0,790, which means there is moderately high and positive correlation between compensation and work environment with the job satisfaction.The value of the coefficient of determination (KD) 0,624, meaning that the level of job satisfaction can be explained 62,4% by compensation and work environment. 4. Hypothesis test result stated that H0 is rejected, it means compensation and work environment have positive and significant influence to job satisfaction at CV Sinco Jaya Abadi Pematangsiantar either simultaneously or partially.The suggestion of this research for financial compensation, the company can provide holiday allowance according to the length of service period of the employee. For increase comfort in office room, company can add an air conditioning. For non physical work environment to resolve relationship issues with colleagues, the colleagues need to listen to opinions and advice provided by colleagues. Meanwhile, to improve job satisfaction the company needs to hold an event that involves all employees so that they can interact with each other. Keywords: Compensation,Work Environment, and Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: 1. To determine the description of compensation, jobfacilities and teacher job satisfaction at SMK GKPS 2 Pematangsiantar Pematangsiantar. 2. To determine the influence of compensation and job facilities of teacherjob satisfaction at SMK GKPS 2 Pematangsiantar either simultaneously or partially.The research was done by using literature and field research. This study used source data are primary data and secondary data. The type of data used quantitative and qualitative data as of 59 respondents areteacher of SMK GKPS 2 Pematangsiantar. Collecting data done by questionaires, interviews and documentations. The analysis technique has done by regression multiple linear, coefficient correlation and determination with testing hypothesis with test F and test t.                The result of this research can be summarized as followsŶ = 9,708 + 0,170X1 + 0,162X2,  meaningcompensation and job facilities has positive influence to job satisfaction. The result of analysis correlations r = 0,673 it means that there is moderately correlation between being and compensation and job facilities to job satisfaction. Then obtained the value of coefficient of determination = 0,453, it means employees  performance can be explained by 45,3% by compensation and job facilities. Hypothesis H0is rejected, it means the compensation and job facilities haspositive and significant influence to teacher job satisfaction at the SMK GKPS 2 Pematangsiantar either simultaneously or partially.  Keywords: Compensation, job facilities and teacher job satisfaction

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: 1. To determine the description of work discipline and communication and the employee’s performance at Kantor Badan Pertanahan Nasional (BPN) Kota Pematangsiantar. 2. To determine the influence of work discipline and communication on employee’s performance at Kantor Badan Pertanahan Nasional (BPN) Kota Pematangsiantar simultaneously and partially. This research is done with library research and field research. The data types are cualitative and quantitative data, the data sources are primer and secondary data. The population in this research is as much as 31 respondents. The data collection is done with questionnaire, interview and documentation. Technical analysis used is multiple linear regression, coefficient of correlation, coefficient of determination and hypothesis test F test and t test. The results of the study can be summarized as follows: 1. work discipline, communication and employee’s performance is good. 2. The results of regression analysis is Ŷ= 34,319 + 0,445X1 + 0,638X2 it means that work discipline and communication had a positive influence on employee’s performance. 3. The results of correlations analysis get value r= 0,826, it means that there is a high and positive correlation between work discipline, communication with employee’s performance. Further obtained coefficient of determination (R) = 0.682 means the level of employee’s performance can be explained as much as 68,2% by work discipline and communication. 4. The results of hypothesis test H0 is rejected, it means that work discipline and communication had a positive and significant influence on employee’s performance simultaneously and partially. The suggestion of this research is to improve the work discipline, 1. the leadership must be more firmly to give sanction for anyone who violates the rules. 2. To influence communication, the leadership and the subordinates must create good relations in order to achieve a conducive working environment. 3. to optimize the employee’s performance, the leadership have to apply the rules so that employees can implement the rules properly. Abstract

The result of this research can be concluded as follows: 1) Work experience, teamwork, and employees performance in this company are good.. 2) The result is Ŷ= 8,538 + 0,475 X1 +0,292 X2, means that there are positive influence between work experience and teamwork on employees performance. 3) The correlation result of r=0,784means that there are moderately high and positive correlation between work experience, and teamwork with employees performance. The coefficient of determination R = 0,614 means that the employees performance can be explained by work ecperience and teamwork 61,4%. 4) The research hypothesis H0 is rejected, means that work experience and teamwork have positive and significant influence on employees performance at Restaurant International and Convention Hall Pematangsiantar either simultaneosly and partially. Keywords: Work Experience, Teamwork, and Employees Performance

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1. gambaran tata letak, pengawasan, dan kinerja pegawai pada PT Bank Sumut Cabang Syariah Pematangsiantar; 2. pengaruh tata letak dan pengawasan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada PT Bank Sumut Cabang Syariah Pematangsiantar. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: 1. pegawai menyatakan tata letak sudah baik, pengawasan sudah baik, dan kinerja pegawai sudah baik; 2. hasil analisis regresi adalah Ŷ = 7,916 + 0,476X1 + 0,521X2, artinya terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara tata letak dan pengawasan terhadap kinerja pegawai; 3. hasil analisis korelasi diperoleh nilai r = 0,719, artinya terdapat hubungan yang kuat dan positif antara variabel tata letak dan pengawasan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada PT Bank Sumut Cabang Syariah Pematangsiantar baik tidaknya kinerja pegawai di jelaskan 51,8% oleh tata letak dan pengawasan; 4. Hipotesis H0 ditolak, artinya tata letak dan pengawasan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada PT Bank Sumut Cabang Syariah Pematangsiantar baik secara simultan maupun secara parsial.Kata kunci: Tata Letak, Pengawasan, Kinerja Pegawai

Abstract

Riset ini untuk mengetahui gambaran OCB, karakteristik individu, dan kinerja pegawai pada kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang Kota Pematangsiantar serta bagaimana pengaruh OCB dan karakteristik individu terhadap kinerja pegawai pada kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang Kota Pematangsiantar baik secara simultan dan parsial. Riset ini menggunakan desain riset kepustakaan dan penelitian lapangan. Populasi pada riset ini pegawai kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang Kota Pematangsiantar berjumlah 30 pegawai. Data yang dipakai merupakan data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif, dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil riset membuktikan ada pengaruh positif antara OCB dan karakteristik individu terhadap kinerja pegawai serta ada hubungan yang kuat antara OCB dan karakteristik individu terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang Kota Pematangsiantar.Kata kunci: OCB, Karakteristik Individu, Kinerja Pegawai
