Abstract

This community service article explores the development of organic insecticides derived from tobacco leaf extract as an environmentally friendly solution for farmers in Ngusikan Village. The primary objective is to reduce the dependency on chemical pesticides, which pose significant health risks and environmental pollution. Through training sessions and direct practice, farmers learned the process of producing natural pesticides, gaining awareness of the benefits of sustainable agriculture. The results indicate increased farmer knowledge and willingness to utilize organic pesticides, with notable reductions in chemical pesticide usage. This program also highlights the economic potential of processed tobacco products, enhancing local income opportunities. As an outcome, Ngusikan Village serves as a model for sustainable agriculture by leveraging local resources for eco-friendly pest control.

Abstract

Tingkat literasi investasi masyarakat Indonesia, terutama di daerah pedesaan masih tergolong rendah. Salah satu upaya meningkatkan literasi tersebut adalah melalui kegiatan sosialisasi dan seminar pasar modal yang diinisiasi oleh Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Artikel pengadian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan pelaksanaan seminar Bursa Efek Indonesia di Kecamaan Adiluwih sebagai upaya meningkatkan minat masyarakat untuk berinvestasi di pasar modal. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam bentuk seminar interaktif yang melibatkan masyarakat, UMKM, dan karang taruna. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan metode ceramah dengan modul presentasi powerpoint yang dilakukan oleh pihak BEI dan Phintraco. Hasil dari adanya seminar ekonomi BEI ini adalah menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat Kecamatan Adiluwih terhadap investasi pasar modal. kata kunci: bursa efek Indonesia, minat investasi

Abstract

Musik memiliki potensi sebagai media komunikasi yang efektif dalam menyampaikan pesan emosional dan spiritual, salah satunya melalui lirik lagu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis makna motivasi dalam lirik lagu Mimpi karya Putri Ariani dengan menggunakan pendekatan semiotika Ferdinand de Saussure, yang memandang tanda sebagai hubungan antara penanda (signifier ) dan petanda (signified). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan interpretatif, dengan analisis umpan sebagai teknik utamanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lirik lagu Mimpi mengandung simbol-simbol yang merepresentasikan harapan, perjuangan, keberanian, dan keyakinan terhadap impian. Lirik tersebut tidak hanya memiliki nilai estetika, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai sarana komunikasi yang menyampaikan pesan motivasional secara mendalam kepada pendengar.

Abstract

This articel purpose to explain the concept of moral education with today’s education is inseparable from each other. Morality is very important in the study of Islam. Morality is a psychological condition that causes people to act impulsively and without careful planning, or consideration. The aim of this study is to determine whether Ibn Miskawaih’s moral education is still valid in today’s education. The data sources used are books, scientific journals, and records. The method used is qualitative with the type of research (kepustakaan). The findings of this study show that education is a process of forming human character towards a virtue, a correction of evil, and the process of improving. Ibn ‘Abbas emphasized more on moral education for human development, that is, the development of the soul with priorities comparable to the physics of pleasure, wealth, and power. Thus Ibn Miskawaih’s thought, he stated that if a person’s education is higher then his character will also be better.   Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan Konsep Pendidikan akhlak dengan pendidikan masa kini tidak dapat dipisahkan satu sama lain. Akhlak sangat penting dalam kajian islam. Moralitas adalah kondisi psikologis yang menyebabkan orang bertindak secara impulsif dan tanpa perencanaan, atau pertimbangan yang hati-hati. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan apakah pendidikan moral Ibnu Miskawaih masih berlaku dalam pendidikan saat ini. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitataif dengan penelitian library research dengan sumber data berdasarkan studi literatur. Sumber utama yang digunakan dalam hal ini penelitiannya adalah buku Pendidikan Etika Ibnu Miskawaih. Sedangkan sumber sementara yang sekunder adalah jurnal, berita sumber-sumber yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan yang akan terjadi dibahas. Hasil temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan, pendidikan adalah suatu proses pembentukan karakter manusia menuju suatu kebajikan, suatu koreksi keburukan, dan proses perbaikan menjadi lebih baik. Ibnu miskawaih lebih menekankan pendidikan moral untuk pembangunan manusia, yaitu pengembangan jiwa dengan keutamaan sebanding dengan jasmani kesenangan, kekayaan, dan kekuasaan. Dengan demikian pemikiran Ibnu Miskawaih, ia menyatakan jika pendidikan seseorang lebih tinggi maka karakternya juga akan lebih baik. Abstract

Health institutions such as hospitals are a form of service in the field of services so they must provide the best form of service to patients to increase patient loyalty at Bunda Sejati Hospital Tangerang. Patient loyalty is one of the key indicators of a hospital's success. When patients feel satisfied and confident in the services provided, they are more likely to return for future treatment as well as recommend the hospital to their family and friends. The purpose of this study is to analyze the quality strategy of nursing services in increasing patient loyalty at Bunda Sejati Hospital Tangerang. In this study, direct observation techniques were used, then interviews and documentation. Based on the discussion in this study, the results obtained are that the service quality strategy consists of several indicators to increase patient loyalty at Bunda Sejati Tangerang Hospital.

Abstract

The problem in the research is the low social skill of the learners. The problem in this research is "what is group guidance service with effective discussion technique to improve low social skill to class XII student of IPA 2, IPA 5 and IPS 1, IPS 2 SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung academic year 2016/2017?". The purpose of this research is to know that group counseling service with an effective discussion technique to improve low social skill in class XII student of IPA 2, IPA 5 and IPS 1, IPS 2 SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung academic year 2016/2017. The method used in this research is quasi experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design design. Subjects in the study amounted to 20 students class XII IPA and IPS SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung who have low social skills. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire, namely a questionnaire (scale of social skills). The results obtained in this study indicate that social skills can be improved using group counseling services with discussion techniques, it is shown from the results of data analysis using t-test, from the scores obtained experiment and control class that is tcount = 2.678> ttable = 2.101 then, Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, which means group guidance services with effective discussion techniques to improve low social skills. Brief conclusions in this study that group guidance services with effective discussion techniques to improve the social skills of student class XII SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung academic year 2016/2017

Abstract

Student engagement is a crucial component of effective learning. A token economy is one strategy that can be utilized to enhance student learning engagement. This study aimed to investigate the difference in average student engagement between an experimental class using a token economy and a control class in Aqidah Akhlak (Islamic Creed and Morals) subject at MTs Hasan Muchyi Kediri. It also sought to determine the magnitude of this difference. This quantitative quasi-experimental study employed a posttest-only control group design. Two classes were selected as research samples: a control class and an experimental class that implemented a token economy. Data were collected using questionnaires and token recording documentation. The questionnaire data were then analyzed using an independent-samples t-test. The results indicate that the use of a token economy significantly impacts student engagement. This conclusion is supported by a significance value of 0.02 < 0.05, demonstrating a significant difference in the average student engagement between the experimental and control classes. The test results also revealed that the average student engagement in the control class was lower than in the experimental class, with a difference of 3.37. Thus, there is a significant difference in the average engagement of seventh-grade students in Aqidah Akhlak at MTs Hasan Muchyi Kediri between the experimental class using a token economy and the control class, with the experimental class exhibiting higher average engagement.

Abstract

ABSTRACK Modern games are type of game that is loved in the midst of technological sophistication. This study aims to analyze modern games in english language for young readers from research articles. A systematic review was conducted in this study to show the findings of relevant studies on modern games that are often used in schools. Three criteria were used for the systematic review: modern game, english language, and young learner. Based on search, only six articles were included in a systematic review out of 100 articles screened by criteria; Modern Game in English Language from 2019 to 2024. The results of this study show the tendency of modern use of games into learning media, the tendency of English materials into learning content, and finally the tendency of technological involvement in producing learning media. Following up on this research, the tendency of technological and gaming touches can be integrated to design a new framework for the development of English learning technology. These findings are directed so that teachers or educators can develop English learning easily and interestingly. So that young learners are more motivated to learn together.

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) aimed at improving students’ mathematics learning outcomes on the topic of Lines and Angles through the implementation of the Discovery Learning model. The problem in this study is the low initial understanding of geometry concepts among students, particularly in the topic of lines and angles, which negatively affects their mathematics learning outcomes. This is evident from the pretest results, which showed that only 4 students (9.3%) achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC). The research was conducted in two cycles using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which includes the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of 43 seventh-grade students from class VII E at SMPN 1 Mataram, who received treatment in the form of the Discovery Learning model implementation by the researcher. Data were collected through student activity observation sheets and learning outcome tests, which were then analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. In Cycle I, the learning focused on the types of angles (2 meetings), while in Cycle II, the focus was on the relationships between angles (3 meetings). The success criteria were determined based on students achieving MMC ≥ 75 and classical completeness ≥ 85%. The results showed an increase in classical completeness from 46.5% in Cycle I to 86% in Cycle II. Thus, the implementation of the Discovery Learning model proved effective in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Karang Taruna plays a crucial role in enhancing the social life of the community, particularly in Hinas Kanan Village, Hantakan District. The region has seen a decline in youth engagement in improving the quality of the younger generation, especially in terms of creativity and critical thinking skills. This served as the motivation for the service team to reactivate the Karang Taruna organization to develop and enrich the youth's understanding of their contributions to sustainable development. The younger generation has the potential to maximize the role of Karang Taruna in empowering the community's social welfare. The program aims to create a beneficial atmosphere through various social activities such as organizing Focus Group Discussions on village potential, commemorating the Republic of Indonesia's anniversary with the youth, conducting joint clean-up actions, and exploring tourist attractions with the village youth. The staff team has conducted workshops to strengthen the vision of Karang Taruna with the members and village officials, fostering solidarity and social responsibility among the youth of Hinas Kanan village. This aims to encourage a more active role in community development and greater sensitivity to social issues in their environment. The research emphasizes the importance of the active role of youth in sustainable development and their involvement in decision-making for the future of the village. It can serve as a reference for youth empowerment programs in other villages facing similar challenges and aid in designing more effective and sustainable strategies.
