Abstract

Background: Climate change and sustainability challenges compel organizations to incorporate sustainable environmental principles into their operational framework. Green Human Resource Development (Green HRD) is a strategic paradigm that emphasizes training, developing, and empowering personnel to advocate for sustainability initiatives. Objective: This scholarly article provides a comprehensive review of the extant literature related to Green HRD, covering its determinants, key components, and impacts on organizational performance. Result: Green HRD plays a critical role in driving economic prosperity, enhancing social welfare, and promoting environmental sustainability. Internal determinants such as organizational culture and leadership dynamics, alongside external influences including government regulations and advances in green technologies, are critical to the effective implementation of Green HRD. In addition, critical components such as sustainability-focused training, green career development pathways, and employee engagement initiatives yield beneficial effects on operational efficiency, organizational reputation, and environmentally driven innovation. Conclution: Empirical evidence is lacking in assessing the long-term effects and practical application of Green HRD in specific sectors, especially in the context of developing countries. Future research efforts are recommended to concentrate on success metrics, green technology integration, and cross- cultural methodologies to enhance the efficacy of Green HRD in facilitating global sustainability initiatives.

Abstract

Hypertension is a significant health issue as it serves as a major risk factor for various diseases, including heart disease, kidney failure, diabetes mellitus, and stroke. One pharmacological method that can help lower blood pressure is consuming boiled moringa leaf (Moringa oleifera) extract. This study aims to analyze the effects of consuming boiled moringa leaf extract on reducing blood pressure in individuals with hypertension in Sebauk Village, within the working area of Meskom Public Health Center, Bengkalis District. This study employed a case study method with a descriptive design. The research findings indicate that before consuming boiled moringa leaf extract, the systolic blood pressure of the respondents ranged from 145 mmHg to 165 mmHg, with an average of 152.81 mmHg. Meanwhile, the diastolic blood pressure ranged from 90 mmHg to 120 mmHg, with an average of 96.19 mmHg. After the administration of boiled moringa leaf extract, the systolic blood pressure of the respondents decreased, ranging from 130 mmHg to 160 mmHg, with an average of 138.44 mmHg. Additionally, the diastolic blood pressure dropped to a range of 80 mmHg to 100 mmHg, with an average of 85.31 mmHg. Based on these findings, it is recommended that Meskom Public Health Center educate the community about the risks of hypertension and its prevention and management, including consuming boiled moringa leaf extract as a natural alternative to help lower blood pressure.

Abstract

As a pioneer of the Indonesian women's movement from time to time, the figures of 'Aisyiyah since the beginning of the movement have pioneered their work with a strong spirit of religious belief, a sincere soul, extensive knowledge and intelligence, a humble attitude, tenacity, experience, sincerity, and tireless service in the treasure trove of struggle for Islamic women. The role of 'Aisyiyah is a struggle to jihad in advancing all aspects of life through strengthening spirituality, morals, education, health, economy, social welfare, and other efforts at the community level (congregation community) spread throughout the country. Related to the strong determination and desire of the Aisyiyah Regional Leadership of Gresik City, East Java, and all its members to establish a Cooperative that operates according to the sharia system, we, the Community Service Team of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu, assisted the Aisyiyah Regional Leadership of Gresik City, East Java, in providing training and outreach in the form of Community Service with the theme of increasing Literacy about Sharia Cooperatives in the Aisyiyah Regional Leadership of Gresik City, East Java. Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of literary catechesis in helping believers, especially young people, to understand and live out the Word of God in their daily lives. The background of this research is rooted in the rapid development of technology and the flow of information, which significantly influence how young people perceive and experience their faith. In this context, catechesis is often still conducted in a one-way manner and tends to lack connection with participants’ lived experiences. Therefore, a more contextual and participatory approach is needed. This research employs a literature study method by analyzing various sources, including academic journals and Church documents, particularly the Petunjuk untuk Katekese (2020). The findings show that literary catechesis is an effective approach because it places Sacred Scripture at the center of faith formation through processes of reading, understanding, and reflecting on the text. This approach enables participants not only to know the content of Scripture but also to relate it to their personal life experiences.

Abstract

Perancangan Sistem Informasi Profil dan Pubikasi Berita Berbasis Web pada Bagian Kesejahteraan Rakyat (Kesra) Kantor Bupati Kabupaten Deli Serdang bertujuan untuk menyediakan media informasi yang terstruktur, cepat, dan mudah diakses oleh masyarakat. Selama ini, penyampaian informasi terkait program keagamaan, sosial, pendidikan, kesehatan, bantuan kemasyarakatan, serta kegiatan Kesra belum sepenuhnya terdokumentasi dan terpublikasi secara digital. Kondisi ini menyebabkan masyarakat kesulitan memperoleh informasi yang akurat terkait layanan dan program kesejahteraan rakyat. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web yang mampu menampilkan profil instansi, struktur organisasi, program kerja, serta berita kegiatan dengan lebih efektif. Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan model Waterfall, yang mencakup tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian, dan dokumentasi. Sistem dirancang menggunakan teknologi HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, dan MySQL untuk menghasilkan platform yang responsif, informatif, dan mudah dikelola oleh administrator Bagian Kesra. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi ini mampu menyajikan informasi profil Kesra, publikasi berita, agenda kegiatan, dan layanan masyarakat secara terorganisasi dan mudah dipahami. Rancangan ini diharapkan menjadi acuan dalam pembangunan sistem yang sesungguhnya sehingga dapat meningkatkan efektivitas penyebaran informasi serta mendukung transparansi Pemerintah Kabupaten Deli Serdang dalam bidang kesejahteraan rakyat.

Abstract

Siswa tunagrahita merupakan kelompok rentan yang memiliki keterbatasan dalam memahami risiko bencana dan langkah perlindungan diri, terutama pada satuan pendidikan yang berada di wilayah rawan bencana seperti SLB B-C Optimal Kenjeran Surabaya. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat literasi mitigasi bencana dan proteksi diri siswa tunagrahita melalui pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis Virtual Reality (VR) dengan narasi bilingual yang dinamakan SafeQuest-VR. Pelaksanaan program menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dan Human-Centered Design yang meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan mitra, pengembangan modul literasi mitigasi bencana berbasis narasi bilingual, pembuatan media SafeQuest-VR, pelatihan guru dan orang tua, pendampingan pembelajaran, serta evaluasi program. Kegiatan melibatkan 20 siswa tunagrahita SDLB, 15 guru, dan 5 tenaga kependidikan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman siswa terhadap pengenalan jenis bencana, langkah perlindungan diri, kemampuan mengikuti instruksi simulasi, serta sikap fokus dan responsif selama pembelajaran, dengan rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 35–36%. Selain itu, program menghasilkan luaran berupa media SafeQuest-VR, modul pembelajaran, buku panduan, poster edukasi, dan video dokumentasi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa SafeQuest-VR efektif sebagai media pembelajaran adaptif untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan bencana dan mendukung penguatan pendidikan inklusif yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

National Children's Day (Hari Anak Nasional/HAN) serves as a strategic opportunity to promote public awareness of children's rights in Indonesia. Although Pontianak has been recognized as a Child-Friendly City (Kota Layak Anak/KLA) with the Nindya classification, the implementation of HAN has not been as optimal as that of other cities with similar recognition. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the HAN program in Pontianak using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with members of the Children's Forum and officials from the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control, and Family Planning (DP2KBP3A), supported by document analysis of activity reports and budget records. The findings indicate that the HAN program successfully encourages children's active participation in planning and implementing activities while fostering social, leadership, and teamwork skills. The context evaluation revealed strong collaboration between the local government and the Children's Forum. The input evaluation identified adequate resources, although improvements in facilities and facilitator competencies remain necessary. The process evaluation showed effective program implementation, while the product evaluation demonstrated increased public awareness of child protection issues. Nevertheless, the program requires further innovation and better logistical management. These findings are expected to support the improvement of future HAN programs and strengthen Pontianak's efforts to achieve a higher Child-Friendly City classification.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of parents in improving children’s reading and writing literacy skills at SDN 08 Kurnia, Semedang Village, Kuala Behe Subdistrict, Landak Regency. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions based on the research findings. The results indicate that the role of parents in improving children’s reading and writing literacy skills in Semedang Village has not yet been fully realized. In terms of education, parental involvement remains limited due to a lack of understanding regarding effective learning support. In terms of motivation, parents have not consistently encouraged learning activities within the family. In terms of facilitation, the family’s economic constraints are one of the factors preventing the provision of literacy support materials, such as reading books and learning media. In terms of guidance, time constraints due to work demands have prevented the intensity of support for children’s learning activities from reaching its full potential. This situation is influenced by several factors, including internal factors such as parents’ educational backgrounds and family economic conditions, as well as external factors such as a surrounding environment that does not yet support a culture of literacy, the influence of peers, and the use of digital media. These factors have prevented the establishment of sustainable literacy activities within the family environment.
