Abstract

The F&B business is one of the most popular businesses among various segments of society, from the lower to the upper classes. This is because food and beverages are among the primary human needs. This research uses a quantitative approach with a sample size of 400 respondents who are consumers of mobile coffee. The data analysis technique employs SmartPLS version 3 through outer model and inner model testing. The results show that location mobility has a negative and significant effect on sales volume, while samahah service hospitality has a positive and significant effect on sales volume. Location mobility and samahah service hospitality have a positive and significant effect on consumer buying interest. Consumer buying interest also has a positive and significant effect on sales volume. In addition, consumer buying interest is proven to significantly mediate the effect of location mobility and samahah service hospitality on sales volume. The findings of this study emphasize that high mobility creates a suppressor effect that reduces sales consistency, while implementing ethical hospitality and smart relocation scheduling play an important role in maximizing transaction rates.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the forms of legal protection for the rights of indigenous peoples to customary land amidst increasing investment and regional expansion, while simultaneously formulating strengthening measures that can maintain legal certainty and justice for indigenous peoples. The study uses a normative legal method with a statutory approach, a case approach, and a conceptual approach. Primary legal materials include the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, the Basic Agrarian Law, the Human Rights Law, Regulation of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning or the Head of the National Land Agency Number 14 of 2024, and Constitutional Court Decision Number 35/PUU X/2012. Data are analyzed qualitatively through systematic and teleological interpretation to examine the relationship between the recognition of customary rights, land governance, investment, and human rights protection. The results of the study indicate that customary land has a fairly strong basis for recognition in the Indonesian legal system, but its implementation still faces obstacles in the form of complicated recognition procedures, overlapping maps and permits, limited access to information, unequal bargaining positions, and consultations that do not always reflect the free and conscious consent of the community. Protection needs to be strengthened through participatory mapping, integration of customary territory data into spatial planning and licensing systems, meaningful consultation, independent legal assistance, equitable benefit-sharing agreements, and effective complaint and redress mechanisms. This approach ensures that investment can proceed without compromising the sustainability of livelihoods, cultural identity, and collective rights of indigenous communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital marketing on customer loyalty with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable among e-commerce users in Medan City. A quantitative approach was applied using non-probability sampling, specifically purposive sampling. The sample consisted of 130 respondents who are active e-commerce users in Medan City and have made at least three online transactions in the past six months. Data were collected through online questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results show that: (1) digital marketing has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction (β = 0.718; p < 0.001); (2) customer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty (β = 0.524; p < 0.001); (3) digital marketing has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty (β = 0.289; p < 0.001); and (4) customer satisfaction partially mediates the effect of digital marketing on customer loyalty (β = 0.376; p < 0.001). The implication is that e-commerce actors serving the Medan City market need to optimize the digital marketing dimensions, namely cost, interactive, incentive program, site design, and informative, to build customer satisfaction, which will ultimately foster long-term customer loyalty.
