Abstract

The aim of this reseach was to describe the practicality of the SCPjBL model, based on the results of the implementation of scientific investigations to improve students' scientific creativity on Student Worksheets (LKM). The method in this study is the development of a modified model and applied in universities in 2024. The sample in this study was 90 students from two different universities. Data were collected based on the results of validation and observation of the implementation of the SCPjBL model. The assessment instrument used an implementation observation sheet carried out by two observers. The observation sheet was filled in by four observers who were divided into two observers who were tasked with observing the implementation of the SCPjBL model phase, and two others observed student activities, the results of the observations were then analyzed quantitatively. The results of the study were in the form of implementation results by obtaining an average score of 3.72 with an average validity percentage of 91% with a very practical category. The results of the practicality of the SCPjBL model and its supporting devices obtained a score of 3.56 with an average implementation percentage reaching 91%. Based on the results of the study, the SCPjBL model was declared practical and feasible for use.

Abstract

Scientific creativity is a skill needed in the 21st century. 21st-century skills are known as 4C skills, one of which is being creative to produce innovative work to answer the challenges of the Industrial Revolution era 5.0. The Project-based learning model is a learning model that can guide students to increase students' scientific creativity through a series of questions that direct and explore students' scientific knowledge and creativity. This research used a quasi-experimental research design with 36 students divided into control classes and experimental classes. This research aims to see how much influence the PjBL learning model has in increasing the scientific creativity of students in physics subjects in terms of the implementation of the model and the influence of the PjBL model. The instruments used to obtain data were essay test questions for pretest and posttest, and observation sheets to observe the implementation of learning in class. All test questions have been validated by experts and tried out to test the reliability of the questions, level of difficulty, and distinguishing power of the questions using the ANATES Essay Questions application. Concept mastery data (posttest) was analyzed by hypothesis testing (t-test) using the SPSS application. The results of the research show that: (1) There is a significant influence of using the Project-based learning model on students' mastery of physics concepts. A significance value of 0.031 (Sig < 0.05) was obtained at the 95% confidence level. (2) The implementation of the project-based learning model accompanied by probing prompting techniques is included in the good category

Abstract

This research aims to describe the profile of scientific creativity abilities of undergraduate students in the basic physics 1 course through the application of the Project-based Learning model. The sample in this research was 50 undergraduate physics education students at Madura Islamic University taking introductory physics courses. The data obtained was analyzed quantitatively and then described. The students' scientific creativity profile was obtained by administering a scientific creativity test and a student response questionnaire using the implementation of Project Based Learning. The data was analyzed using a score calculation formula, the results were categorized into very high, high, medium and low category. After obtaining the scoring, the data is interpreted in percentage form. Meanwhile, student response questionnaire were measured using Likert scale and then interpreted in percentage form. The research results showed that 83% of students' scientific creativity was still classified as low, while 17% of students' scientific creativity was classified as moderate. With details of the creative personal character profile for each indicator of scientific creativity as follows: 1) Scientific Phenomena 52.5%, 2) Scientific Knowledge 15%, 3) Scientific Problem solving 13.75%, 4) Creative thinking ability 20.4%, 5) advanced scientific product design 12.7 %, and 6) Technical product 8.7%. The results of the student response questionnaire showed that the majority of students experienced difficulty in write their initial knowledge about physics, difficulty in solving problems and answering questions based on the scientific phenomena presented.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between electric potential difference and electric current in a conductor with resistance and aims to describe the MPA relationship in adding to the scientific body of physics. The type of research used in this study is quantitative experiment, namely research by conducting practice on ohm's law physics. The data in this study were obtained from experiments, questions and answers, and documentation. Based on the experimental results shown by the graph, it proves that the potential difference and electric current strength have a significant relationship, which is in accordance with the theory of Ohm's law. Based on the discussion above, it can be concluded that there is a link or relationship between MPA and the scientific treasures of physics because MPA can add new experiences, understand new theories and so on. From the results of the graphs shown, it can be concluded that the experiments were carried out in accordance with Ohm's law theory, namely the voltage is directly proportional to the current strength. Therefore, it is necessary to have a practicum guidebook that can train the science of ohm's law physics

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the benefits of lenses on health; the aim of this article includes an in-depth understanding of the benefits of using lenses on eye health, identified through potential risks or health problems related to lens use, as well as investigations depending on the latest innovations or developments in lens technology that can improve eye well-being. In this descriptive research, the researcher uses a method in the form of a literature study that aims to observe, find out, assess, identify, analyze, and determine the topic of related research. The results of data analysis concluded that lenses have significant benefits for health, especially eye health. Lenses also help correct vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Lenses have significant health benefits, including protecting the eyes from dust and UV rays, aiding vision correction, reducing exposure to blue radiation, preventing dry eyes, and improving the quality of life for those with visual impairments. In various forms, lenses help maintain and improve eye health for overall comfort and well-being. Lenses can also help in particular situations, such as providing clarity of vision for athletes or physically active people and facilitating proper medical examinations and eye surgery procedures

Abstract

In the information age like now, waves are very influential on human life. Almost all living creatures on earth are inseparable from the use of waves. One of them is X-ray and ultrasound waves. The use of X-rays and ultrasonic (USG) waves in various fields, especially in the health sector, is an important aspect of technological development. As well as its application in the medical and industrial fields. Electromagnetic waves, especially X-rays, have become an irreplaceable diagnostic instrument in visualizing the internal structure of the human body. The various benefits of X-rays are explained, from diagnosing bone fractures to radiotherapy treatment for cancer. On the other hand, ultrasound is used for pregnancy checks, monitoring the condition of the fetus, and detecting tumors and other disorders. Although ultrasound does not use direct X-ray waves, the integration of X-ray processing technology can increase image resolution and provide more comprehensive information. In this article, we will discuss several benefits of waves, namely X-ray and ultrasound waves. X-rays use electromagnetic waves with a higher frequency that are ionizing. Meanwhile, ultrasound uses ultrasonic waves with non-ionization properties. The use of X-ray and ultrasound waves includes the medical and industrial fields. The research method uses literature studies by collecting and analyzing information from various credible sources obtained from 15 journals and 3 books. The results of the literature analysis include definitions, frequencies, and wavelengths, as well as the benefits and properties of X-rays and ultrasound. Although both are rarely used, some techniques combine them to increase image resolution and clarity.

Abstract

Waves are vibrations that propagate at any time. Waves are divided into two, namely mechanical waves and electromagnetic waves. In the world of health, what we often encounter are tools whose use is accompanied by one of the physics concepts, namely optical waves. Optical waves in the world of health are very important to apply because they are the basis for learning in health science or in the sense that the concepts that are developed in health science use the concept of optical waves. Optical waves are known as electromagnetic waves, because these waves describe visible light rays, infrared, and ultraviolet rays, so these rays are used as materials for the use of optical instruments. There are many kinds of optical instruments, including loupes which are used to magnify small things, microscopes as a tool to see objects that are far away with the sense of sight, binoculars as a tool to see the distance of objects that are far from the surface of the earth, and the eye as a tool for our vision. Then scientists applied the wave concept with optical tools to serve as a reference in the world of health. Waves according to Prof. Yohanes Surya, Ph. in the title of the book Vibrations and Waves (2019), propagating vibrations produce energy and move at a certain speed, and do not drag the material they pass through. The use of optical waves is widely applied in medical science, including X-rays as a detector for internal body elements to clarify broken parts such as bones or other things. From the explanation above, it can be concluded that waves are the basis in the world of health, which are of course used in optical equipment, and are a reference for the health team and as a basic concept in physics learning. This underlies the fact that optical waves are not only used in the world of education but are very It is also needed in the world of health.

Abstract

The development of science is very rapid. Competition is increasingly fierce and people are required to have high intellectual abilities in facing the challenges of the global world. In fact, the progress of a nation will be recognized by the world, one factor is how the majority of people in a country master, develop and utilize science and technology. The purpose of writing this literature review is none other than to explain in detail the development of individuals in facing developments in science, which has so far become a topic of discussion in the world of education. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, namely research in the form of a literature study which aims to analyze, evaluate, identify, observe, find and determine relevant research topics. The results of data analysis conclude that science and technology are human achievements that must be utilized in understanding and practicing something. In line with this principle, science is actually a process experienced by individuals in their development. The poorer the knowledge, the narrower the insight in understanding something, the narrower a person's thinking about a science. In conclusion, development is a skill in the structure and function of the body or an increase in more complex abilities in a regular and predictable pattern as a result of experience and the maturation process. Development is also very closely related to social, motor, intellectual and emotional abilities. So it becomes very necessary how a learning design is formed to provide freedom to be creative on an ongoing basis in order to optimize and develop students work.

Abstract

Physical fitness is a very important part of everyday life and almost everything that’s done depends on the physical member. In order to function properly, it is essential for us to maintain physical health so as not to cause problems and risk illness. In addition to the illness caused by physical activity, it can also be caused by age actors. In the field of health continues to undergo rapid development, one of the breakthroughs that has been used is the use of ultrasonic waves. Ultrasonic waves are the result of mechanical vibrations produced by the movement of isolated molecules in their diffusion media. If tissues receive ultrasound waves, the impact includes biological effects, mechanical effects and thermal effects. Some of the findings that have been established are the application of ultrasound waves to therapies in cases that appear on physical limbs. On this article aims to be able to contribute in the field of health so that it is easier to develop the use of ultrasonic therapy. This article is compiled using a literature review method taken from the references that have been collected. Of all the references collected, ultrasonic waves are used as therapies for some physical function problems. This therapy also collaborates with several paractic methods of health to address the existing problems. Therapy using ultrasonic modality has been shown to reduce pain, muscle cramps and minor injuries. It can be concluded that ultrasound therapy can help deal with patients suffering from disorders in their physical bodies, either to reduce pain or during the recovery process.
