Abstract

Usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting bagi suatu negara. Keberadaan UMKM akan memberiakan sumbangsi terhadap peningkatan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan ekonomi suatu negara. UMKM muncul dari orang-orang yang memiliki inisitif dan keberanian dalam mendirikan usaha atau bisnis. Jumlah UMKM di Indonesia terus mengalami peningkatan termasuk di provinsi gorontalao khususnya di desa Bilungo. Banyak potensi yang ada di desa Bilungo yang bisa dimanfaatkan untuk diolah menjadi kegiatan bisnis atau usaha. Untuk menciptakan peluang usaha baru maka diperlukan orang-orang kreatif dan inovatif dalam mengembangkan bisnisnya.Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberiakan motivasi dan juga strategi yang komprehensif kepada masyarakat agar tertatik untuk mengembangkan potensi bisnis yang dimiliki agar dapat menciptakan dan mengembangkan kegiatan usaha atau bisnis baru.

Abstract

Student literacy skills are very important because they influence student academic achievement. So far, the literacy skills of students from disadvantaged groups who live in rural areas and suburbs are very low. This international community service aims to increase student literacy among students living in rural areas such as remote areas or on the outskirts of urban areas by utilizing picture card media. This service was carried out in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia using the mentoring method. There are 16 students involved in international community service activities from classes 1 and 2. The service activity consists of four stages, the first stage is introduction and socialization, the second stage is observation, the third stage is the application of picture card media, the last stage is evaluation. International commonity service has enabled students who previously had difficulty pronouncing letters and words to successfully articulate both. This community service can be declared successful according to the goal, because it can increase students’ literacy, especialy in reciting the alphabet and reciting word with the help of picture card media.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the validity of the SiPjBL model reviewed from the aspects of model development needs and knowledge updates. The method used is development. The data collection technique is carried out by model validation and the research instrument is a model validation sheet containing statements referring to aspects of development needs and knowledge updates. Data analysis is carried out quantitatively by calculating the score on each component of each aspect of the model. The results of the study obtained an average score of 3.92 with a very valid category and the percentage of feasibility of the SiPjBL model reached 97%. Thus, the SiPjBL model is feasible to be implemented in the learning process in higher education.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the benefits of lenses on health; the aim of this article includes an in-depth understanding of the benefits of using lenses on eye health, identified through potential risks or health problems related to lens use, as well as investigations depending on the latest innovations or developments in lens technology that can improve eye well-being. In this descriptive research, the researcher uses a method in the form of a literature study that aims to observe, find out, assess, identify, analyze, and determine the topic of related research. The results of data analysis concluded that lenses have significant benefits for health, especially eye health. Lenses also help correct vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Lenses have significant health benefits, including protecting the eyes from dust and UV rays, aiding vision correction, reducing exposure to blue radiation, preventing dry eyes, and improving the quality of life for those with visual impairments. In various forms, lenses help maintain and improve eye health for overall comfort and well-being. Lenses can also help in particular situations, such as providing clarity of vision for athletes or physically active people and facilitating proper medical examinations and eye surgery procedures

Abstract

UMKM memiliki peran penting dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat serta ketahanan di tengah krisis, namun transformasi digital di era Industri 4.0 menuntut peningkatan kapasitas digital bagi pelaku UMKM, termasuk generasi muda. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan desain grafis dan pemasaran digital calon pelaku UMKM pemula dari kalangan siswa SMA melalui pelatihan desain logo menggunakan aplikasi Canva. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari observasi awal, ceramah, serta praktik langsung. Materi pelatihan meliputi pengenalan logo, penggunaan Canva, serta strategi branding. Peserta diajak langsung merancang logo sebagai representasi usaha mereka, dilanjutkan dengan evaluasi hasil karya dan survei kepuasan. Hasil menunjukkan partisipasi aktif siswa mencapai 90%, dengan tingkat kreativitas tinggi dalam pembuatan logo serta pemahaman yang baik terhadap konsep branding digital. Peserta menyampaikan kepuasan dan menyarankan perluasan materi untuk pengembangan pelatihan selanjutnya. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam membekali siswa dengan keterampilan desain yang aplikatif dan relevan dengan dunia wirausaha digital masa kini, serta membuka peluang integrasi program serupa ke dalam kurikulum kewirausahaan sekolah. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya pendekatan edukatif berbasis praktik untuk menumbuhkan semangat wirausaha sejak dini. Kegiatan ini menegaskan adanya dampak keberlanjutan kegiatan atau kontribusi sosialnya dalam branding produk berbasis digital, sehingga citra merek tidak hanya berorientasi pada keuntungan ekonomi, tetapi juga mencerminkan tanggung jawab sosial dan lingkungan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Tumbuhan obat di Indonesia begitu melimpah adapun usaha untuk melestarikan pengetahuan dan meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat, pendekatan kualitatif mempelajari praktik etnofarmasi tumbuhan obat sebagai warisan lokal, sedangkan pendekatan kuantitatif menilai efektivitas edukasi leaflet. Karena tumbuhan obat tradisional memiliki aspek budaya dan edukatif, metode kualitatif diperlukan untuk memahami nilai lokal, sedangkan metode kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengevaluasi seberapa efektif leaflet mengajar. Metode kuantitatif mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan, sedangkan pendekatan kualitatif menggambarkan kearifan masyarakat Pao-Pao tentang penggunaan tanaman obat. Penelitian kualitatif hanya menghasilkan angka tanpa konteks budaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggabungkan hasil penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk menemukan potensi tanaman obat yang dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat serta untuk menilai seberapa efektif edukasi berbasis leaflet.  Metode penelitian ini menggunakan literatur review tentang tumbuhan obat tradisional dan efektivitas edukasi leaflet. Berbagai laporan ilmiah dan jurnal diteliti untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang etnofarmasi, pemanfaatan tanaman obat, dan sumber daya edukasi kesehatan. Literatur yang relevan dipilih untuk mendukung diskusi tentang fungsi tumbuhan obat sebagai warisan lokal dan peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu Kedua pendekatan, kualitatif dan kuantitatif, menunjukkan pemanfaatan tumbuhan obat tradisional dan efektivitas edukasi leaflet. Kajian kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat memanfaatkan berbagai jenis tanaman obat sebagai bagian dari warisan budaya, dan kajian kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa leaflet dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat hingga lebih dari 80%

Abstract

The increasing risk factors for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) among adolescents require innovative preventive approaches. This community service program aimed to empower cadres of the Nahdlatul Ulama Female Student Association (PAC IPPNU) in Pademawu District as agents for the early detection of NCDs, addressing the challenges of the cadres' low knowledge and practical skills. The method used was the IPOAI (Identifying, Planning, Organizing, Acting, Impact) empowerment model. The program was implemented through hybrid training that integrated interactive lectures and hands-on practice in measuring blood pressure, blood sugar, and Body Mass Index (BMI) for 23 cadres. The program's effectiveness was measured by comparing pre-test and post-test scores for knowledge and an observation checklist for skills. The results showed a significant increase in the cadres' knowledge. The proportion of cadres with "Good" knowledge surged from 13% to 82.6%. In terms of skills, all cadres (100%) became proficient in measuring blood pressure and calculating BMI, while 82.6% of cadres became proficient in checking blood glucose. The analysis indicates that the experiential learning approach with immediate feedback was effective in building competency, although psychological factors posed a challenge for the invasive procedure. This empowerment program proved effective in enhancing the capacity of adolescent cadres. Equipped with health tools handed over for sustainable use, the cadres are expected to become the frontline for NCD promotion and prevention, bridging the healthcare service gap in their community.

Abstract

To support the goals of sustainable development in education (SDGs), it is inseparable from the 21st-century learning framework. 21st-century learning has provided a framework known as 4C, one of which is critical thinking skills (CTS) and creativity. The critical thinking and creativity skills of high school students are still relatively low so they need to be improved. The purpose of this study is to create a suitable learning module (valid, practical, and effective) to support sustainable education. The method used in this study is the development method of Klein and Richey with a one-group pretest-posttest design type, the sample in this study was 180 high school students from various districts in Madura. The research instruments were validation sheets, implementation sheets, and pretest-posttest sheets. The results of this study indicate that the physics learning module integrated with artificial intteligence is proven valid with a validity level reaching 95% in the very valid category. Practically where the implementation of the learning module with this module reaches 95% is well implemented. The effectiveness of the module, with the N-gain analysis results, reached a score of 0.77, categorized as high. This result is reinforced by the results of the effect size test with a score of 0.57, which has a very positive effect on achieving learning objectives. Therefore, this module is suitable for improving CTS and scientific creativity so that it can achieve the SDGs
