Abstract

This research is motivated by the difference in learning facilities and student learning outcomes in class X of SMAN 5 Bukittinggi. Many students are found with high learning facilities, but the learning outcomes are not very satisfactory, and some are even below the KKM. The purpose of the study is to determine the significant influence between learning facilities on the mathematics learning outcomes of students in class X of SMAN 5 Bukittinggi for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. This type of research is correlation research. The population in this study is 334 students in class X with a sample of 33 students. The sampling technique uses a simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique used is in the form of a questionnaire to find out the learning facilities at home and tests to obtain data on learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used linear regression equations, correlation coefficients, simple determination coefficients, and the significance of correlation coefficients. The results of the study were obtained from tcount  ttable, which is 2,252  1,696 which means that learning facilities have a significant effect on learning outcomes. Where learning facilities have an effect of 79.3% on mathematics learning outcomes. Where between the two variables there is a positive correlation of 0.35, with the regression equation obtained is Y= 22.8046+0.590X

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that the number of students who have low mathematical literacy skills is caused by various factors. One of the factors that affects mathematical literacy ability is learning motivation. This study aims to determine the ability of mathematical literacy when viewed from the learning motivation of students. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The sample in this study is grade XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Padang Panjang. The sample selection technique in this study uses the Stratified random sampling technique where the sample is selected based on strata. The instrument used in this study is test questions in the form of essays to see students' mathematical literacy skills. Data analysis was carried out descriptively on all research data. The results showed that the average mathematical literacy ability was 50 which was classified as low. If viewed from high learning motivation is classified as medium with an average score of 69, when viewed from medium learning motivation has low mathematical literacy skills with an average score of 56 and mathematical literacy ability reviewed from low learning motivation is classified as low in the low category with an average score of 25

Abstract

The low motivation of students' mathematics learning makes researchers want to know the effect of the Make a Match learning model on students' mathematics learning motivation. The type of research conducted was pre-experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted in a class that was selected by random sampling. From the results of data analysis, the average student pretest questionnaire results were obtained 124,45 while the average student posttest questionnaire results are 131,59. From the results of the calculation of the paired sample t-test at the real level ?=0,05 also obtained the value of tcount =5,14 and ttable =2,048. Because tcount > t table then reject H0 and accept H1 which means that students' mathematics learning motivation after applying the Make a Match learning model is better than students' mathematics learning motivation before applying the Make a Match learning model. From these results it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Make a Match learning model on students' mathematics learning motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Time Token terhadap hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas VIII di UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Kecamatan Lareh Sago Halaban. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar matematika yang diperoleh siswa, ditunjukkan oleh rendahnya nilai Penilaian Harian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Control Group. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 231 orang. Sampel diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas VIII.2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII.5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk soal uraian. Analisis data menunjukkan thitung = 5,29 lebih besar dari ttabel = 1,675 sehingga hipotesis penelitian diterima. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Time Token berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

overcome this problem is to use the Pair Check type Cooperative Learning model in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study was to find out how the activities of class VIII students of SMPN 4 Lareh Sago Halaban in the 2019/2020 academic year using the Cooperative Learning model of the Pair Check type and to find out how the mathematics learning outcomes of students who used the Cooperative Learning model of the Pair Check type were better than conventional learning. in class VIII of SMPN 4 Lareh Sago Halaban for the 2019/2020 academic year. This type of research is a pre-experimental research design, namely The Static Group Comparison: Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMPN 4 Lareh Sago Halaban for the 2019/2020 school year. Sampling was done randomly, obtained class VIII 1 as the experimental class and class VIII 2 as the control class. Activity data was obtained from observation sheets and learning outcomes were obtained from students' mathematics learning test results. Based on the analysis of student activity observations, overall student activities with the Pair Check type Cooperative Learning model are classified as active with an average of 70.19%. From the hypothesis test, it was obtained that tcount = 2.11 and ttable = 1.68, because tcount > ttable, H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. And from the calculation of SPSS16 obtained a significant value of 0.041, = 0.05 and a significant value <α so that H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that students' mathematics learning outcomes with the Pair Check type of Cooperative Learning Model are better than conventional learning in class VIII of SMPN 4 Lareh Sago Halaban for the 2019/2020 school year". Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya aktivitas siswa saat pembelajaran  matematika, dan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari persentase jawaban ulangan harian siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Lareh Sago Halaban Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Terdapat kategori hasil belajar rendah dengan persentase 68,25%. Salah satu alternatif pembelajaran yang diduga dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah dengan menggunakan model Cooperative Learning tipe Pair Check pada pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana aktivitas siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Lareh Sago Halaban Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020 dengan menggunakan model Cooperative Learning tipe Pair Check dan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar matematika siswa yang menggunakan model Cooperative Learning tipe Pair Check  lebih baik dari pada pembelajaran konvesional di kelas VIII SMPN 4 Lareh Sago Halaban Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pra eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian yaitu The Static Group Comparison: Randomized Control Group Only Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Lareh Sago Halaban tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak, diperoleh kelas VIII 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Data aktivitas diperoleh dari lembar observasi dan hasil belajar diperoleh dari hasil tes belajar matematika siswa. Berdasarkan analisis observasi aktivitas siswa, secara keseluruhan aktivitas siswa dengan model Cooperative Learning tipe Pair Check tergolong aktif dengan rata-rata 70,19%. Dari uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung = 2,11 dan ttabel= 1,68, karena thitung > ttabel  maka H0 ditolak dan H1  diterima. Dan dari perhitungan SPSS16 diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,041,  dan nilai signifikan  sehingga H0 ditolak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar Matematika Siswa dengan Model Cooperative Learning tipe Pair Check lebih baik daripada Pembelajaran Konvensional dikelas VIII SMPN 4 Lareh Sago Halaban tahun pelajaran 2019/2020”.

Abstract

Dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan akan adanya suatu bahan ajar yang mendukung proses pembelajaran, sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan peserta didik serta sesuai dengan syarat penyusunan bahan ajar yang sesungguhnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah produk Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) pada materi statistika yang diharapkan agar peserta didik lebih memahami materi statistika dan hasil belajar meningkat serta menghasilkan LKPD yang valid, praktis dan efektif yang mendukung proses pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII.2 MTsS PP Darul Falah. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu model 4-D. Namun, karena adanya keterbatasan waktu, maka penelitian yang dikembangkan hanya terdiri dari tiga tahap (3-D) yaitu tahap pendefenisian (define), tahap perancangan (design) dan pengembangan (develop). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi yang dinilai oleh validator, lembar angket respon peserta didik dan tes hasil belajar setelah dilakukan pembelajaran menggunakan LKPD yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh produk Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Pada Materi Statistika yang telah dirancang valid, praktis dan efektif. Tingkat kevalidan memiliki persentase 73,89% dengan kriteria valid, tingkat kepraktisan memiliki persentase 87,8% dengan kriteria sangat praktis dan tingkat keefektifan memiliki persentase 85% dengan kriteria efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan motivasi belajar matematika siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pra-eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa, sedangkan teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket untuk mengukur motivasi belajar matematika siswa. Adapun analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil analisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa thitung = 7,144 > t0,05;29 = 2,04 serta signifikan 0,0005 < α = 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing terbukti memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

Hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 6 Bukittinggi masih tergolong rendah dan belum mencapai ketuntasan yang diharapkan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya perhatian siswa terhadap pembelajaran dan kecenderungan siswa bersikap pasif selama proses pembelajaran. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Index Card Match. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran tersebut terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan posttest-only control design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII, dengan sampel kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang dipilih melalui teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes esai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Index Card Match terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Students achieve KKM on mathematics learning outcomes. That is, in Cycle 1, there were 9 students who reached 70 or more, and in Cycle 2, up to 13 students reached 70. Based on the learning conducted at SMPN 3 Tilatang Kamang, class VIII's mathematics learning achievement is still low. This is because the teacher does not use group learning. The motive of this study was to discover whether or not the software of the "Numbered Heads Together" cooperative learning model can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes. The investigative method used is the PTK method at SMPN 3 Tilatang Kamang. This classroom action research method has two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. This classroom action research was carried out at SMPN 3 Tiratan Kaman in semester I of the 2022-2023 school year with a total of 20 students in class VIII subjects. This study found that in Cycle I, 9 students (45%) achieved KKM scores above 70, and in Cycle II, 13 students (65%) achieved scores above 70. The KKM achieved being 70, it can be concluded that learning using cooperative learning models of the "number heads together" type can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics. Abstract

Student learning interest is a willingness or desire in students to learn something. When students have a high interest in learning mathematics they will study as best they can at school or at home, conversely if students lack a high interest in learning mathematics they are not enthusiastic about learning mathematics, this has implications for low learning outcomes in mathematics. The author describes the interest in learning mathematics in class XII TKJ students at the Pembina Bangsa Vocational School, Bukittinggi. The subjects used were 19 class XII TKJ students at Pembina Bangsa Vocational High School Bukittinggi and a math teacher for XII TKJ class at Pembina Bangsa Vocational High School Bukittinggi. Research data was collected using interviews and questionnaires. Questionnaire data on interest in learning mathematics in class XII TKJ students at the Pembina Bangsa Vocational High School Bukittinggi as a whole obtained a percentage of 90% which was classified as very high. Students enjoy learning mathematics, are actively involved when learning activities take place, feel interested in learning mathematics and focus when learning mathematics takes place. In the first indicator, namely students' enjoyment in learning mathematics, a percentage of 89% is classified as very high, in the second indicator, namely attention students when participating in mathematics learning obtain a percentage of 90% which is classified as very high, on the third indicator, namely student interest when learning mathematics obtains a percentage of 92% which is classified very high, and on the fourth indicator, namely student involvement when learning mathematics obtains a percentage of 90% which classified as very high.
