Abstract

Indonesian society has entered a period of mass and competitive knowledge production through the Internet boom. However, to produce beneficial results requires separate methods. For this reason, there are collaborative government efforts with contemporary art and communication workers to bring the community to creative arts endeavors. Using semi-structured interviews with seven creative entrepreneurs and 14 trainees, this research explores the experiences of teachers and students of creative products and activities, especially focusing on how they work together in the learning process. The themes of commercialization and the development of networks emerged, challenging creative knowledge practitioners to monetize. The trainees are not a homogeneous group. This research makes Bandung a model city in Indonesia which has a high enough creative culture to be evaluated and improved pragmatically. Interactions that arise before and after the Bandung Creative Hub can be identified the difference through the accuracy of the delivery of information through the appropriate target audience, equipment and communication facilities between creative actors, and budget conditions in meeting the needs of arts and creativity training. Some of the supporting factors for teaching creativity are the interaction between creative actors and the community, through the participants' interest in the activities carried out by the creators, how to deliver good information, the fabric of cooperation relationships and the completeness of supporting facilities. The efforts made by the creators to maintain the relationship are by the stage they capture potential people, the stage of lasting relationships and the stage of providing rewards to the community in the form of direct contributions.

Abstract

This study explored the role of government to encourage and provide a model of economic growth, including in the field of micro, small, and medium enterprises. Among these was the digital media industry. It could be a potential that can provide public welfare. The questions to be answered here were about how to model a development of community-based digital media industry in Cirebon City, West Java; whether the government could bring people to the digital media industry in order to foster the creative economy of society; and how the community appreciated and became a part of the digital media industry. With descriptive and qualitative methods, this study found that the government had sufficiently active roles in the development of the digital media industry in the community. The community itself had already been opened in responding to the government’s programs and the development of contemporary technology in the field of selling goods and services. Still, there were obstacles that might be continued to be refined for the success of the community’s digital media industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas kinerja dewan perwakilan rakyat daerah dalam melayani penyaluran aspirasi masyarakat di Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mendapatkan setting alamiah di mana ada banyak perilaku dan peristiwa yang terjadi. Penelitian ini juga menggali struktur, regulasi dan prosedur kelembagaan yang bisa memiliki dampak yang signifikan pada penyaluran aspirasi oleh masyarakat. Studi ini menemukan bahwa dalam rangka untuk melaksanakan fungsi mereka sebagai wakil-wakil terpilih, para anggota dewan provinsi selalu menyediakan diri mereka untuk melayani masyarakat. Dari segi dimensi sosial, semua layanan dilakukan dalam banyak cara yang merepresentasikan rakyat itu sendiri. Meski begitu, sebagian orang masih meragukan signifikansi cara-cara tersebut bagi perkembangan kondisi demokratis. Karena ketika di kantor DPRD, pihak penyalur suara rakyat hanya berhadapan dengan pihak secretariat DPRD, terutama bagian Hubungan Masyarakat dan Protokol.

Abstract

This study aimed to gain an overview of farmers' community in rural areas about a social communication model among them who have cultivated farmland from generation to generation. The qualitative and descriptive study in a village in Garut found that there were patterns of traditional communication maintained by the majority of farmers as well as open communication patterns with absorbs the modernization of development. With social communication pattern, it is clear that there are efforts to strengthen the resilience of rural communities which are sufficient dynamic to reduce the imbalance between rural and urban areas, reduce the level of dependence of the city, increase the income of farmers, and empowerment of farmers and poor communities in rural areas.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi, faktor penyebab dan pandangan orang tua terhadap pendidikan anaknya sehingga banyak anak sekolah yang putus sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Sukamanah Kecamatan Paseh Kabupaten Bandung sebuah kawasan pertanian di pinggiran Kota Bandung. Secara umum penelitian ini didasarkan pada metode deskriptif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kehidupan keluarga petani di Desa Sukamanah sangat rendah baik dari segi sosial ekonomi, pendidikan dan lain-lain. Faktor penyebab anak putus sekolah di masyarakat Desa Sukamanah antara lain faktor ekonomi; faktor rendahnya minat melanjutkan sekolah; faktor kurangnya kesadaran dan perhatian orang tua, faktor kurangnya sarana prasarana sekolah, dan faktor budaya. Adapun pandangan orang tua terhadap pendidikan anaknya sangat beragam, dipengaruhi oleh latar belakang pendidikan dan status sosial ekonomi dan budaya di sekitar mereka. Demi kemajuan bangsa, Pemerintah di sini harus terus mendorong kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pendidikan bagi anak putus sekolah.

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis implementasi UU No. 14/2008 tentang Keterbukaan Informasi Publik (KIP; Keterbukaan Informasi Publik) dari Badan Perwakilan Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat (DPRD; Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah). Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menyajikan diskusi tentang pendidikan karakter dalam implementasi kebijakan tersebut di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Dengan teori implementasi kebijakan dan pendidikan karakter, diperoleh temuan bahwa elemen pendidikan karakter dalam implementasi kebijakan informasi publik di DPRD Jawa Barat cukup tebal dan efektif. Karena itu harus memasyarakatkan implementasi UU di Jawa Barat. Ditemukan juga bahwa unsur-unsur pendidikan DPRD provinsi Jawa Barat dalam implementasi undang-undang ini dengan mendapat penilaian yang cukup baik di masyarakat. Namun demikian, kurangnya publisitas tentang UU KIP ini dapat mengurangi kekuatan pesan moral yang terkandung dalam UU kepada publik, yaitu tentang keterbukaan.

Abstract

Sanggar Tari dan Musik Topeng Kinang Putra merupakan sanggar yang memiliki tujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan melestarikan budaya betawi melalui tari topeng dan musik gambang kromong. Sanggar Tari dan Musik Topeng Kinang Putra adalah kelompok masyarakat pegiat seni tari dan musik yang memandang pengetahuan sebagai salah satu aset penting yang menjadi landasan kehidupan. Dalam melakukan proses penciptaan pengetahuan, nilai-nilai kebersamaan yang disusun bersama-sama oleh individu-individunya harus menjadi landasan yang dipercaya untuk meraih tujuan bersama. Penelitian memiliki tujuan untuk pada merancang prosedur operasional standar penciptaan pengetahuan untuk mendukung pengelolaan Sanggar Seni Tari dan Musik Topeng Kinang Putra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan action research berdasarkan model Kurt Lewin terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi untuk merancang prosedur operasional standar penciptaan pengetahuan dengan konsep spiral pengetahuan dari Nonaka. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui hasil wawancara, observasi dan FGD (Focus Group Discussion). Kegiatan FGD dilaksanakan dua kali dalam rangka menampung gagasan dalam rancangan prosedur operasional standar penciptaan pengetahuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sanggar Tari dan Musik Topeng Kinang Putra mampu untuk merancang prosedur operasional standar penciptaan pengetahuan yang mengatur dalam kegiatan Sosialisasi, Eksternalisasi, Kombinasi, dan Internalisasi dan juga telah menunjuk knowledge manager sebagai pihak yang mengatur kegiatan penciptaan pengetahuan.

Abstract

This paper discusses about how mass media as part of society has been widely used in addition being a media of information and entertainment, as well as a media of persuasion. In this case the researcher looked at the exposure of internet advertising that was part of the effort to promote goods and services from producers to the public as consumers. Researchers were intrigued to find out more about whether advertisements on internet mass media that contain more commercial advertisements and become part of economic activities can affect the behavior of students as teenagers that can lead to consumptive nature that is used to be a lifestyle. The student's consumptive lifestyle as a result of being hit by advertisements on the internet mass media is seen from the number of goods ownership such as female students who have a number of beauty equipment with different brands and gadget more than one. And men are more visible on gadgets alone, they are more likely to have more than one gadget, even though one of them can still be used.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy carried out in the campaign of environmental care with the slogan "Kang Pisman" on outdoor media in the recreational area of ​​Bandung city, which is around Cihampelas road. The focus of this research are to find out the message strategy on the slogan "Kang Pisman",and the strategy of placing campaigns in outdoor media. This research method uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach. The method of data collection is by the method of data triangulation, where data is obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation. The object of this research is environmental awareness campaign with "Kang Pisman" slogan. The results of this study indicate that the message strategy is carried out to change knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors, the strategy of placing outdoor campaigns is intended to be easily seen and read by many people passing by, both Bandung citizen, local and international tourists, and the strategy of placing campaigns in the recreational area is to make tourists take part in environmental care activities to reduce the amount of waste when traveling to Bandung city.
