Abstract

AbstrakKajian dalam penelitin ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang dampak penerapan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif pada staf manajerial pemerintah daerah di wilayah Sumatera Utara. Selanjutnya, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif sedangkan dalam penarikan sampel menggunakan random sampling, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 786 responden yaitu para pegawai Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) Pemerintah Daerah. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah melalui penyebaran kuesioner yang diukur berdasarkan skala likert. Selanjutnya, analisis data yang diperoleh diolah dengan bantuan software Smart PLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan melalui peningkatan penerapan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional maka dapat ditingkatkan perilaku kerja inovatif ASN pemerintah daerah khususnya di wilayah provinsi Sumatera Utara. Lebih lanjut, pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional di sektor publik menguntungkan hubungan antara pemimpin dan bawahannya karena potensi hambatan inovasi yang dipersepsikan oleh bawahan disingkirkan atau dihilangkan oleh pemberdayaan psikologis dan komitmen afektif ASN. Kata kunci: gaya kepemimpinan transformasional; perilaku kerja inovatif; ASN  AbstractThe study in this research aims to find out the impact of implementing a transformational leadership style on innovative work behavior in regional government managerial staff in the North Sumatra region.  Furthermore, the method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method, while sampling uses random sampling, with a total of 786 respondents, namely local government Civil Service (ASN) employees. Data was collected through distributing questionnaires which were measured based on a likert scale. Next, the data obtained was processed with the help of Smart PLS 3.0 software. The results of the research show that there is an influence of the transformational leadership style on innovative work behavior, so it can be concluded that by increasing the application of the transformational leadership style, the innovative work behavior of local government ASN can be improved, especially in the North Sumatra province. Furthermore, the influence of the transformational leadership style in the public sector benefits the relationship between leaders and their subordinates because potential barriers to innovation perceived by subordinates are removed or eliminated by the psychological empowerment and affective commitment of ASNs. Keywords: transformational leadership style; innovative work behavior; ASN

Abstract

Tantangan dalam meningkatkan kinerja sumber daya ASN semakin kompleks terlebih saat ini merupakan era disrupsi teknologi hingga munculnya revolusi industri 4.0. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kinerja sumber daya ASN melalui anteseden perilaku kerja inovatif. Anteseden dari perilaku kerja inovatif dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari  gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, pemberdayaan psikologis, dan komitmen afektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data utama dari beberapa daerah terpilih. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 397 orang. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengolah data adalah statistika deskriptif dan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)-PLS. Adapun hasil penelitian yaitu perilaku kerja inovatif berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja  ASN pemerintah  daerah di Provinsi Sumatera Utara.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the innovative work behavior of the local government employees in North Sumatera Utara.This study investigates the hypothesis of the antecedents of innovative work behavior consist of transformational leadership style, psychological empowerment, and affective commitment.The sampling technique used is stratified random sampling and purposive sampling,. This study includes 40 indicators and 786 participants.SmartPLS was used to process respondent data, which was then analyzed using the Structure Equation Model (SEM). In this study, three hypotheses are tested. This study uses a questionnaire as the main data collection tool from several selected areas. The results of this study are: (1) The transformational leadership style has a positive and significant effect on the innovative work behavior of local government ASN in North Sumatra Province; (2) psychological empowerment has a positive and significant effect on the innovative work behavior of local government ASN in North Sumatra Province; (3) affective commitment has a positive and significant effect on the innovative work behavior of local government ASN in the province of North Sumatra

Abstract

Tujuan  dari  kegiatan  Pengabdian  ini  adalah  untuk  Memberikan penguatan kompetensi literasi dan numerasi dengan keterampilan untuk mengakses, mengevaluasi, dan menggunakan informasi secara efektif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di SD Negeri 4 SINGKAM  kabupaten   Samosir   Sumatera   Utara seperti membaca buku, menulis cerita, membuat catatan, menyimak audio dan meringkas, mendeskripsikan gambar, dan berdiskusi tentang suatu topik. Peserta dari kegaitan pengabdian ini adalah SDN Negeri 4 Singkam kabupaten Samosir.  Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan oleh dosen-dosen pembimbing dan mahasiswa Kampus mengajar Universitas HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar yang mencakup tahap persiapam, pelaksanaan pelatihan/workshop kepada guru-guru SD, pendampingan dan penyusunan laporan. Dengan menerapkan strategi-strategi di atas, diharapkan kompetensi literasi dan numerasi siswa di SD dapat meningkat secara signifikan, sehingga mereka siap menghadapi tantangan di masa depan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perilaku negatif (menyimpang) siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IX pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 14 Pematangsiantar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi linier sederhana. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX yang berjumlah 80 orang. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 80 orang dengan mengambil seluruh populasi siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 14 Pematangsiantar dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu sampel jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa perilaku negatif siswa berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai thitung sebesar 26,213 yang lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 1,990 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Persamaan regresi yang diperoleh adalah ???? = 24,410 + 0,693????, yang berarti semakin rendah perilaku negatif siswa, maka semakin tinggi hasil belajar yang diperoleh. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa perilaku negatif (menyimpang) siswa memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 14 Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning interest and the utilization of learning resources on students' academic achievement in economics among Grade XI students at SMA Swasta Teladan Pematangsiantar. The background of this research stems from the low scores in the odd semester final exam for economics, indicating a lack of interest in learning and suboptimal use of available learning resources. This study employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive research design. The population consists of all Grade XI students at SMA Swasta Teladan Pematangsiantar for the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 243 students. A proportional sampling technique was used to select 90 students as the sample. Data were collected using questionnaires for the variables of learning interest and the utilization of learning resources, as well as documentation of midterm exam (UTS) scores in economics as an indicator of academic achievement. Data analysis techniques include simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination. The prerequisite test used chi-square normality tests, and the results showed that the data were normally distributed. The analysis results showed a positive and significant effect of learning interest on academic achievement (tcount=7.946 > ttable=1.987) and a positive and significant effect of the utilization of learning resources on academic achievement (tcount=6.124 > ttable=1.987). The F-test results also showed that both variables simultaneously had a significant effect on students' academic achievement (Fcount=24.627 > Ftable=3.10). The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.361, indicating that 36.1% of the variation in students' academic achievement was influenced by learning interest and the utilization of learning resources, while the remaining 63.9% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on students' learning outcomes in the Social Studies (IPS) subject for Grade VIII at SMP Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar. The background of this research is based on the low learning outcomes of students, which are caused by the lack of active student involvement during the learning process. The PBL model was chosen because it emphasizes student involvement in solving real problems, which is expected to improve both understanding and learning outcomes. This research employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The research design used is the Nonequivalent Control Group Design involving two classes, namely class VIII-1 as the experimental group that applied the PBL model, and class VIII-2 as the control group that received conventional learning. Data collection techniques were carried out through pre-test and post-test. Instrument testing included validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using the Independent Samples t-Test with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results of the study show that there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between students who were taught using the PBL model and those who were taught using conventional methods. The significance value in the t-test was 0.001 < 0.05, with the average N-Gain score of the experimental class being 44.67% and the control class being 31.24%. This indicates that the application of the PBL model has a significant effect on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study aimed at determining the influence of using social media as a learning resource on the economics learning outcomes of grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Siantar. This approach was used to describe the relationship between existing variables without any manipulation or direct intervention. The instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of 25 statement items, of which 20 were declared valid (rcount > rtable 0.333) and reliable with a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.754. The data normality test using the chi-square test showed that the data were normally distributed. The simple linear regression analysis resulted in the equation Y = 46.975 + 0.491X, indicating a positive relationship between social media and learning outcomes. Hypothesis testing using the t-test showed that tcount (4.883) > ttable (1.663), indicating a significant influence. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.2209, which means that the contribution of social media use to learning outcomes was 22.09%, while the remaining 77.91% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Thus, the use of social media as a learning resource provides a positive and significant contribution to students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

Improving employee performance in public organizations, such as local governments, faces increasingly complex challenges, especially with the rapid development of digital technology. The purpose of this study is to analyze how innovative behavior can improve the performance of local government employees. Data collection for analysis was conducted using a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool. The study sample size was 786 people. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)-PLS. The results of the study showed that the coefficient of determination (r-square) value of the performance variable was 0.454, which means that innovative work behavior was able to influence performance by 45.4%. Furthermore, the results indicate that innovative behavior has a positive and significant effect on the performance of local government employees in North Sumatra province. The novelty in conducting this research is to increase curiosity for improvement and the ability to discover new techniques/equipment, the government must provide opportunities for employees to pour ideas and thoughts into the work process.
