Abstract

This study explored how mathematics teachers interpret and implement deep learning approaches in classroom instruction and the challenges they encounter. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected from five teachers through an open-ended online questionnaire and two in-depth interviews. Thematic analysis was conducted following the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña framework. The findings revealed that teachers view deep learning as a student-centered approach that emphasizes conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and emotional engagement. Teachers employ various strategies such as group discussions, problem-based learning, contextual problem solving, discovery learning, open-ended math projects, game-based assessments, and the CORE model. However, challenges arose in tailoring strategies to meet diverse student needs, managing time constraints, and dealing with limited infrastructure. The study concludes that, although teachers value deep learning, its effective classroom application depends on stronger institutional support and flexible pedagogical models. These findings offer practical insights into how deep learning is interpreted and practiced in Indonesian mathematics classrooms.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic can change consumer habits and behavior, consumer preferences regarding health products they buy in the marketplace are increasingly shifting. Health products that became the best-selling products during the pandemic include masks, hand sanitizers, face shields and vitamin C. This study aims to determine the criteria for each health product based on the attributes of health products in popular marketplaces in Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a survey conducted to 100 respondents. The data is then analyzed using a multidimensional scaling approach to produce a map of the best-selling health products on popular marketplaces in Indonesia. The results show that the product that has the most superior rating in various health product attributes is the mask product, followed by vitamin C, face shield and hand sanitizer. This can be seen from the various attributes involved such as efficiency, effectiveness, health benefits, side effects, ingredients, caution, targeting accuracy, product reactions and product durability. This study shows that the attribute value of a product can change along with changes in the environment and consumer needs.

Abstract

Many students have low mathematical comprehension skills. This is partly due to a loss of interest and desire to learn. The purpose of this study is to improve students' mathematical comprehension skills through an ethnomathematics approach at the Al-Jabbar Grand Mosque with the help of Geogebra. This study, which used a sample of 38 students from SMP IT Ar-Rifqi for the 2024–2025 academic year, examined ethnomathematics in the architecture of the Al-Jabbar Grand Mosque as a geometry teaching aid with the help of Geogebra. Triangles, rhombuses, and other mathematical ideas are reflected in the design of this mosque. This research strategy, which combines exploratory ethnomathematics methodology with a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design, uses a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques include pretests and posttests of mathematical comprehension, as well as questionnaires. Data analysis techniques were carried out in several stages, namely the normality test, homogeneity test, unpaired t-test (independent sample t-test), and N-Gain to see the increase in scores from pretest to posttest. The findings of this study indicate that ethnomathematics methods combined with technology (GeoGebra) have significant potential to improve the standards of mathematics teaching. In addition to enhancing conceptual knowledge, this method helps students appreciate their local culture and the practical applications of mathematics

Abstract

The title of this study reflects an idealistic vision of improving mathematics learning quality through innovative approaches; however, empirical evidence indicates that students’ problem-solving abilities, particularly in critical thinking and mathematical creativity, still require improvement. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of integrating deep learning, flipped classroom, and digital storytelling in enhancing students’ critical thinking and mathematical creativity. Using a quantitative experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group, the study involved 33 eight-grade students, devided into an experimental group and a control group. The findings showed a significant improvement in the experimental group compared to the control group, especially in the aspect of interpretation, evaluation, and inference. More students in the experimental group moved into higher performance categories after the intervention. These results indicate that the integration of flipped classroom and digital storytelling in deep learning-based mathematics instruction fosters students’ engagement, supports critical and creative thinking, and enhances their ability to apply mathematical concepts in real-world contexts.

Abstract

Constructivist learning emphasizes the active role of learners in constructing knowledge through experience, social interaction, and reflection. However, students often encounter difficulties in meeting the prerequisite knowledge required for effective learning. This study aims to examine the effect of web oriented constructivist learning on improving students' self regulation skills and academic achievement in Biology, particularly in biodiversity topics. The research employed an experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design involving 38 students from class X-MIA 6 at a senior high school in Bandung Regency. Data were collected using questionnaires and test instruments, then analyzed through gain calculation and multiple linear regression. The results indicated a moderate increase in both self regulation skills and academic achievement based on the gain index. Furthermore, the correlation analysis revealed that the constructivist approach and self regulation skills collectively had a significant positive impact on students' academic achievement. These findings suggest that integrating a web oriented constructivist approach can effectively enhance self regulation skills and learning outcomes in Biology education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui permasalahan yang berada di desa wisata Sindangkasih, menganalisis strategi desa wisata Sindangkasih dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat lokal melalui penjualan paket wisata, dan mengembangkan model strategi yang tepat dan efektif untuk Desa wisata Sindangkasih dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat melalui penjualan paket wisata. Menggunakan metode Kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang peneliti dapatkan berasal dari wawancara dengan pengelola dan masyarakat desa wisata Sindangkasih, focus group discussion (FGD), dan observasi yang dilakukan secara langsung dilapangan serta menggunakan pendekatan Soft System Methodology. Hasil dari penelitian ini menggunakan tujuh langkah Soft System Methodology yang memperlihatkan bahwa terdapat strategi pemasaran yang perlu dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat lokal.

Abstract

Instilling an entrepreneurial spirit and long-term investment in providing cognitive knowledge, competencies and encouraging students to be able to take advantage of opportunities so that they are able to face global competition in the industrial revolution 4.0. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of project based learning and entrepreneurial interest on biology learning outcomes. This research is a quasi-experimental research (Quasi Experiment). The experimental design used in this study is the One Shot Case Study. The sample data selected for the experimental class is only one class, namely class 12 IPS 2, totaling 30 people. The sample determination of this study was carried out by Random sampling technique is random.This is because according to the results of observations in the field the ability of students in learning outcomes is classified as the same and there is no superior class.The data in this study consist of student project assessment data taken from student project assessments, entrepreneurial interest is taken from the distribution of questionnaires consists of several indicators of entrepreneurial interest, and learning outcomes are taken from multiple choice test data as many as 20 questions in the form of multiple choice Post tests after learning is carried out. Judging from the results of the research, it can be concluded that the project value and students' entrepreneurial interest only have less influence and the rest more influenced by other things outside the research. Based on the F test, the significance value is obtained that there is a relationship between project value and interest in entrepreneurship together with student learning outcomes. With the existence of project-based learning research and entrepreneurial interest in biology learning outcomes, it is hoped that there will be an increase in student interest in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Metaverse telah mencuri perhatian dunia karena kemampuannya untuk menggabungkan dunia nyata dan dunia virtual. Minat terhadap metaverse semakin meningkat seiring dengan dampak pandemi COVID-19 dan proyek pembangunan Ibu  Kota Nusantara (IKN), serta pertumbuhan penggunaan platform digital. Perbincangan isu metaverse semakin meroket naik setelah perusahaan Facebook merubah namanya menjadi Meta. Studi ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan  akurasi tertinggi antara metode algoritma Naïve Bayes dengan SVM  dalam menganalisis respons masyarakat terhadap metaverse. Studi ini menggunakan metode sentiment analisis. Penggunaan dua algoritma menjadi keterbaruan penelitian. Studi kali ini  menggunakan data yang diambil dari Twitter (x) dan disimulasikan menggunakan sentiment analisis dari algoritma SVM dan  algoritma Naïve Bayes. Berdasarkan penelitian, ditemukan bahwa akurasi algoritma SVM mencapai 90,32% presisi sebesar 0,90 dan recall sebesar 0,86, sedangkan algoritma Naïve Bayes mencapai 84,23% presisi sebesar 0,87 dan recall sebesar 084. Dengan adanya penelitian ini dapat memberikan wawasan terhadap tren metaverse, serta membandingkan hasil akurasi tertinggi antara  dua algoritma.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui terdapat GAP analisis antara manajemen pembentukan karakter saat ini dengan standar pemerintah dan untuk mengetahui strategi manajemen yang bisa diterapkan untuk menutupi kelemahan dan menonjolkan kelebihan model pengelolaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis POAE dan SWOT. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Perencanaan yang dilakukan oleh pesantren dan pemerintah memiliki tujuan yang sama, pengorganisasian yang dilakukan oleh pesantren dan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah juga sudah sesuai, pada tahap actuating yang dilakukan pesantren dan yang diharapkan pemerintah juga sudah sesuai. Begitupun pada tahap evaluasi juga sudah sesuai. Namun, terdapat Gap yang terjadi antara manajemen saat ini dengan pemerintah, Nilai-nilai PPRA yang ditentukan oleh pemerintah belum sepenuhnya tertuang pada santri di pondok pesantren. Terdapat karakter yang belum terbentuk di kalangan santri, yakni karakter dinamis dan inovatif. Kemudian strategi yang harus dilakukan oleh pondok pesantren wanita babakan fauzan adalah Meningkatkan komitmen/loyalitas pengajar dengan menjamin kesejahteraannya, Meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam belajar melalui pemberian penghargaan bagi siswa berprestasi dan mengadakan kompetisi antar kelas/antar pesantren, dll., Meningkatkan mutu sekolah dengan mengupayakan pemenuhan nilai-nilai PPRA, Memperketat tingkat kedisiplinan siswa dengan memberikan punishment bagi siswa yang melanggar aturan pesantren, agar siswa merasa jera.

Abstract

Pendidikan diyakini menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam mempersiapkan dan menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Salah satunya adalah perguruan tinggi, merupakan lembaga pendidikan tingkat tinggi harus memperhitungkan aspek kualitas pendidikan yang fokus pada pengembangan karakter, keilmuan, dan keahlian yang mapan. Dalam melaksanakan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi, dosen memiliki banyak peran dan tanggung jawab salah satu yang menjadi penyebabnya dipengaruhi oleh Personal branding yang mana selain menjadi citra positif bagi dosen berdampak juga terhadap branding perguruan tinggi itu sendiri. Selama proses berjalannya yang dilakukan secara internal atau eksternal oleh dosen tidak terlepas dari faktor lain yang dipengaruhi juga oleh Kemampuan, Motivasi dan Kesempatan pada dosen di setiap perguruan tinggi. Salah satu perguruan tinggi terbaik di garut yaitu Universitas Garut memiliki Personal branding yang baik sehingga banyak calon mahasiswa yang berminat untuk melanjutkan pendidikannya ke Universitas Garut. Fakultas yang paling banyak mahasiswa di setiap tahunnya adalah fakultas ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Bagaimana Pengaruh Kemampuan (Ability), Motivasi (motivation), dan Kesempatan (Opportunity) terhadap Personal branding Dosen Pada Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Garut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan asosiatif. Data primer diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 49 responden dengan menggunakan metode penentuan sampel berdasarkan pertimbangan tertentu. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini menggunakan PLS-SEM. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa Kemampuan (Ability) dan Kesempatan (Opportunity) memiliki Pengaruh signifikan terhadap Personal Branding Dosen Pada Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Garut sedangkan Motivasi (Motivation) tidak memiliki Pengaruh signifikan terhadap Personal Branding Dosen Pada Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Garut.
