Abstract

Spread of the new virus 2019-Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCov) has caused a health crisis in the world. This prompted the government to make efforts to handle it by providing temporary isolation places for Covid-19 sufferers in a shelter or safe house to prevent transmission. The long treatment process and symptoms of the disease make the sufferer helpless. This study aims to describe the personal factors that cause helplessness. The research method was descriptive, population was Covid-19 sufferers who are isolated in a Safe House, and sample was some of the patients who experience helplessness as many as 57 respondents. Data were taken from November to December 2020 using google form and then analyzed univariately, presented in the form of a percentage. The results showed that there were personal factors that influenced helplessness, namely 94.7% middle adults ( 26 years), 54.4% highly educated (PT), 89% married, 54, 4% had income above the UMR, and 86% were of the type. male genital. So that each sufferer has different responsibilities towards his family, feels anxious about his illness because of the high morbidity and mortality rates, and cannot work for a long period of time. Based on the results of this study, a continuous program that involves families, officers, and fellow sufferers is needed to increase support.

Abstract

New students in entering campus life need academic, psychological and social readiness so the need for well-programmed and managed activities is called the Campus Life Introduction Program (P2KK). During this time P2KK often occurs in the form of violations of norms and ethics, and physical violence. This raises various reactions or coping mechanisms. The aim of this study was to analyze the differences in the Koping Student Polytechnic in Taking the Campus Life Introduction Program (P2KK) between Army / Police Families and Non- Army / Police Families.The design in this study is descriptive comparative. The population in this study were all new nursing study program students who underwent P2KK Period totaling 170. The sample in this study was 119 new students who underwent P2KK period which were taken by stratified random sampling. The results of the study showed that almost all respondents of the Army / Police family were 52 people (98.1%). In non- Army / Police families the coping mechanism was entirely adaptive for 66 people (100%). Fisher's test shows p-value of 0.445> 0.05, which means there is no difference in coping mechanisms of the Army / Police family with non- Army / Police. What is possible is influenced by other factors such as cognitive, environment, personality, and social networks. From the results above it is recommended for respondents to always open themselves to the social environment, tell stories and want to ask other people so that they will form a positive personality.

Abstract

Flexing behaviour can occur for a variety of reasons, one of which is to visualize self image because one needs a recognition, self-esteem and a need for social life. The study aims to identify the relationship between self image and flexing behaviour among Gen Z Instagram users at the ITSK RS dr. Soepraoen. This research uses a quantitative research design with a cross sectional approach. The population was 177 college students with a sample of 135 college students. The technique used is accidental sampling. The research was conducted from 14 to 28 February 2024. The research instrument uses a questionnaire in the form of a google form. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis. The results were tested using spearman rho. Obtained sig (2-tailed) p value = 0,000 < 0.05 indicates that H₁ received which means there is a relationship between self image with flexing behaviour among Gen Z Instagram users at ITSK RS dr. Soepraoen. The results of the study had a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.300 included in the study with a moderate strength of the relationship and with a positive direction which means the higher self image make it the lower flexing behaviour. The results of this research expect the participation of institutions to be able to provide education related to the need of students to improve their self image by attending academic and non-academic activities on campus. Abstract

This study aims to identify the relationship between self-acceptance and the quality of life of patients with degenerative diseases in the Internal Medicine Polyclinic Room, Bhirawa Bhakti Hospital, Malang City. The design of this study uses cross sectional. The population is 80 patients in the Internal Medicine Poly Room. The sampling technique used is consecutive sampling. This research was conducted from 01 to 05 July 2024. The research instrument used a questionnaire sheet and the variable studied was self-acceptance. Data analysis uses univariate and bivariate data analysis. The results of the study showed the relationship between self-acceptance and the quality of life of degenerative disease patients in the Internal Polyclinic with a total of 35 respondents, the results were obtained that changes in self-acceptance were significantly related to changes in quality of life in the samples studied with data on the sig value (2-Tailed) of 0.001 (p< 0.05), meaning that self-acceptance was significantly related to quality of life. From the results of the study, it is hoped that families can provide support and motivation to respondents to remain enthusiastic about living life and provide support so that they can improve the quality of life of patients for the better.

Abstract

Type 1 diabetes is a disease that can’t be cured but the quality of life of the patients can be maintained as much as possible. This study aimed to analyze the quality of life of adolescents with type 1 diabetes in Malang.  This study used cross sectional design. The sampling technique used total sampling by taking all adolescents (10-19 years) with type 1 diabetes who are still active in IKADAR Malang which were 24 adolescents. The quality of life of adolescents with type 1 diabetes was measured by the quality of life for youth questionnaire.  The result showed that the total score of the quality of life of adolescents with type 1 diabetes was 74.4±11.4 with the highest score was the impact on activities (92.3±12.4) and the lowest score was the parent issues (57.3±29.2). Higher score quality of life was in boys (75.5±12.9), age 10-14 years (75.3±11.7), disease duration  1-5 years (83.0±3.5) and last HbA1c was <7.5% (83.3±4.2). Healthcare providers especially nurse are expected to keep monitoring and improving the quality of life of adolescents with type 1 diabetes.

Abstract

Kindergarten is one form of early childhood education services for children aged 3-6 years which serves to lay the foundations towards the development of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. Therefore, self-adjustment is one of the important things in determining the success of a child in meeting the demands of the surrounding environment. This study aims to Identify Parents Perceptions of Adjusment Disorder At First Day School in PermataIman 3 Kindergarten Malang. The design in this study is descriptive. The population and sample in this study were all children aged 3-6 years who had just entered school as many as 84. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The instrument used in this study was the Child Behavior Checklist for Ages 1.5-5. This research was conducted at PermataIman 3 kindergarten in July 2019. Data obtained will be analyzed univariate and presented in percentage form. The results showed that adjustments to disorder at first day school in children in the mild category amounted to 66 (78.6%) and a small portion in the moderate category amounted to 18 (21.4%). This is probably due to factors of age, physiological conditions, order of children, and parenting. Based on the results of the study parents should be able to choose the right time to include children in the pre-school environment, namely at the age of > 4-5 years. And it is very important for the school to pay attention to the school environment, especially in the readiness of facilities, facilities and the environment.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused changes all aspects of people's lives today, especially in the world of education which requires all elements of education to adapt and continue the rest of the semester with online learning. This condition caused prolonged stress, a condition where there is physical, emotional, and mental fatigue caused by excessive. This research was conducted on April 2021 with the aim of identifying predictors of prolonged stress of students taking online learning. The method used descriptive approach. The data analysis used factor analysis with KMO and Bartlett's Test methods. The population in this research were all students of nursing study program ITSK RS dr. Soepraoen Malang total 815. The sampling technique used accidental sampling with total sample of 279. The instrument used Maslach Burnout Inventory which distributed online by google forms. The results showed that almost all of the students who experienced mild to moderate prolonged stress were regular students with a total of 252 people (90.3%), low to moderate respondents were unmarried, organizational factors causing prolonged stress were institutional support, more than half of the respondents, 27 people (9,7 %) who felt adequate support from the institution experienced prolonged stress in the mild to moderate category. The dominant factor was student's status as a regular student or assignment or study permit with the significance value was 0.001 <0.05. It is recommended that students actively seek support systems from family and friends as well as educational institutions that are consistent in supporting students

Abstract

Aim: This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and the learning motivation of final semester nursing students at ITSK Dr. Soepraoen Hospital Malang. Method: The study used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 114 final-semester nursing students at ITSK Dr. Soepraoen Hospital Malang, selected using stratified random sampling. Instruments included the Family Support Scale (FLS) questionnaire and Hamzah B. Uno's Theory. Data analysis was performed using the fisher test to identify the relationship between the two variables. Result: Most students indicated instrumental support (35.09%), and 47.37% indicated learning motivation as a path to achieving future goals. The fisher test showed a significant relationship between family support and nursing students' learning motivation (p-value 0.0001). The higher the family support, the greater the students' learning motivation. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between family support and learning motivation in final-semester nursing students at ITSK Dr. Soepraoen Hospital, Malang. This finding emphasizes the importance of family involvement to maintain nursing students' motivation to learn, even though they live far from home.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Penyusunan Karya Tulis Ilmiah merupakan tugas yang susah diselesaikan bagi mahasiswa, karena banyaknya hambatan. Hal tersebut membuat banyak mahasiswa putus asa, stress, cemas berlebihan, depresi, sampai tidak dapat menyelesaikannya tepat waktu, dan dapat mengarah pada ide atau perilaku bunuh diri bahkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mekanisme koping pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir program studi D-III Keperawatan dalam penyusunan Karya Tulis Ilmiah di ITSK RS dr.Soepraoen. Metode: Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif, dengan populasinya adalah semua mahasiswa tingkat akhir program studi D-III Keperawatan ITSK RS dr. Soepraoen sebanyak 246 orang. Sampel penelitian ada 156 mahasiswa didapatkan dengan teknik concecutive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuisioner sebagai alat ukur dan data yang didapatkan dianalisa menggunakan analisis univariat. Hasil: penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar dalam kategori adaptif sebanyak 104 mahasiswa (67%) dan hampir setengah responden dalam kategori maladaptif sejumlah 52 mahasiswa (33%). Hal ini kemungkinan dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya usia dan jenis kelamin. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka diperlukan sosialisasi yang lebih intens kepada mahasiswa dari jurusan atau prodi sehingga mahasiswa akan lebih memahami dan dapat membangun koping yang adatif.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Angka kejadian DM tipe II menunjukkan signifikan bahwa banyak masyarakat yang tidak mengetahui penyakit DM Tipe II. Kasus DM tipe II dari tahun ke tahun terjadi peningkatan 10% untuk setiap tahunnya. Kondisi ini dipengaruhi pengetahuan pada pasien mengenai dampak diabetes melitus tipe II namun tidak mengenali bagaimana cara perawatan jangka panjangnya dan bisa berakibat komplikasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan pasien tentang penyakit diabetes melitus tipe II. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi pasien DM tipe II yang menjalani perawatan di unit rawat jalan Puskesmas Poncokusumo sebanyak 60 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive sampling sehingga didapatkan sampel sejumlah 45 orang. Variabel yang diteliti adalah pengetahuan pasien tentang DM Tipe II. Lokasi penelitian terbagi menjadi 2 yaitu pada unit rawat jalan puskesmas poncokusumo dan kegiatan prolanis di Desa Pandansari pada tanggal 18-22 April 2022 dilanjutkan kembali pda tanggal 16-19 Mei 2022. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuisoner berbentuk angket dan analisa data menggunakan analisis univariat. Hasil: Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pasien tentang pengetahuan penyakit DM Tipe II lebih dari setengan jumlah responden berpengetahuan kurang sebanyak 23 orang (51%). Kesimpulan: Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa masih banyak pasien dengan penyakit kronis khususnya DM tipe II pasien masih kurang pengetahuan tentang penyakitnya. Faktor yang mempengaruhi salah satunya adalah kurang dalam menerima sumber informasi dikarenakan usia mereka dan pendidikan. Dalam dunia keperawatan diharapkan perawat dapat memberikan motivasi, edukasi dan mengaktifkan peran keluarga untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pasien terhadap penyakit yang dialaminya. Sehingga pasien lebih semangat untuk mengontrol gula darahnya dengan baik melalui pengaturan dan menjaga pola makan maupun aktifitas dirumahnya.
