Abstract

The learning process does not rule out the possibility that elementary school students experience reading difficulties. High grade elementary school students' reading difficulties are also found in several elementary schools in various regions, of course this greatly influences the students' learning process in responding to and understanding the lessons given by the teacher. Improving reading skills in high class students at PIR Batee Puteh V State Elementary School, Arongan Lambalek, West Aceh requires a creative and contextual approach. This research explores innovative steps involving the introduction of nature as a means of increasing student literacy, namely: (1) Observation and introduction to the natural surroundings, (2) Selection of reading materials inspired by nature, (3) Integrated science exploration and learning activities, (4) Writing activities based on natural observations, (5) Discussion and reflection together. The author's aim is that through natural exploration activities based on the school environment, students can enrich their reading experience, increase their interest in learning, and provide a deeper understanding of concepts.

Abstract

This research aims to develop SKL (Graduate Competency Standards) based on SPMI (Internal Quality Assurance System). This research was conducted at Nurul Ishlah Integrated Islamic Elementary School in Banda Aceh City. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method, which is a process or steps to develop a new product or perfect an existing product. The data collection techniques used in this study were through observation, questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis was carried out descriptively to obtain data on SPMI-based SKL. The results of the study proved that the SPMI-Based SKL Development Model to Improve the Quality of Education at SDIT Nurul Ishlah in Banda Aceh city, which was compiled by the school in addition to referring to the Minister of National Education Regulation number 20 of 2016, also refers to the quality standard curriculum of Integrated Islamic Schools (SIT) which is then used as Quality Assurance for graduates at SDIT Nurul Ishlah, involving 2 categories, namely akhlak karimah (prayer with awareness,  fond of reading the Quran, devoted to parents, discipline, confident, polite and polite, clean and healthy culture, honest) and optimal academic achievement (tartil reading the Quran, complete the field of study, memorize the three juz of the Quran, communicate well and read effectively

Abstract

This research aims to describe the readiness of elementary school teachers in implementing the Independent Learning Curriculum in Peukan Bada District, Aceh Besar Regency. The research was carried out at Peukan Bada State Elementary School I and Lamteh State Elementary School. This research uses field research with descriptive research and a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques can be done by observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation. Data analysis in the field includes recording, coding and temporary interpretation of various information obtained at various research steps. The results of the research prove that there is teacher readiness in implementing the independent learning curriculum, the need for the use of the Independent Learning Platform by teachers who will implement the independent learning curriculum so that it can support the student-friendly learning process as expected in the independent learning curriculum

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning process with a variety of ICT-based media and examine the influence of information and communication technology learning media and learning interest on student learning outcomes in Social Sciences subjects at the Want Jaya 1 State Junior High School, Aceh Besar Regency. This research is a type of survey research with quantitative methods. the results of the research show that: there is an influence of information media and communication technology and interest in learning on student learning outcomes in social sciences subjects at the 1 Want Jaya State Junior High School, Aceh Besar Regency which together have a significant influence, this can be seen from the three variables. has a high influence, namely 34.5 for the learning media variable and 37.9 for the learning interest variable, 0.24, which means the learning media and learning interest variables, and the school environment has an influence of 24.4% on learning outcomes, while the second These variables together have an influence on student results in the Social Sciences subject at Want Jaya State Junior High School 1, amounting to 49.4.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a strategic planning model based on the Total Performance Scorecard (TPS) to enhance educational quality. The research method employed is developmental research involving analysis, design, development, implementation, and model evaluation. The study addresses challenges in formulating school strategic plans that currently do not meet theoretical standards and lack synchronization among plan components. Findings indicate suboptimal alignment with theoretical standards and lack of synchronization among plan components, reflecting minimal involvement from school stakeholders. As a solution, a TPS-based strategic planning model was developed involving all educators to fill out Personal Balanced Scorecards, while administrative staff filled out Organizational Balanced Scorecards. Discussions involving supervisors, school inspectors, and the school committee through Focus Group Discussions produced a SWOT analysis used to formulate the school's vision, mission, goals, objectives, key roles, strategies, and programs for the next five years. Implementation of this model will occur following operational and theoretical validation in the field, with plans to develop TPS-based strategic plans by 2028. Implications of the research highlight the importance of strengthening the strategic planning process at SD Negeri 61 to align more closely with theoretical standards and integrate plan components. Active engagement of all school stakeholders is expected to improve understanding and acceptance of the strategic plan, ensuring that the school's vision, mission, goals, and strategies reflect their needs and aspirations. The development of this model is anticipated to effectively address educational dynamics and future challenges, enabling the school to play a more optimal role in enhancing educational quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application and evaluation of character education values in school culture at public elementary school 14 banda aceh. This research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction and data collection and conclusion drawing/verification. The results showed that character education in the culture of public primary school 14 banda aceh is implemented in the layers of artifacts and values and beliefs. The planning consists of determining character values, namely religion, discipline, environmental care, national spirit, and respect for achievement; program preparation; policy socialization; and condition planning. The implementation is through the provision of facilities for various programs designed to shape student character through habituation activities. In general, SD negeri 14 banda aceh has achieved school success indicators in the implementation of the four main character values and the value of environmental care which is the focus of implementation. Evaluation is carried out through monitoring and evaluation at the end of the semester with the instrument of violation records and monitoring observation results. The aspects of evaluation include planning, completeness of facilities, implementation, achievement of targets and comparison of conditions.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate efforts to improve the performance of teachers at SD Negeri 61 Kota Banda Aceh through the implementation of scientific supervision using individual conversation techniques. Scientific supervision is a systematic approach that enhances teachers' competence and motivation through methods such as observation, data analysis, and personal guidance. The study employs a qualitative approach with a school action research design. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, classroom observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the application of scientific supervision with individual conversation techniques effectively enhances teaching quality and teacher performance. Scientific supervision allows teachers space for self-reflection, constructive feedback, and collaborative planning for improvement with supervisors. Additionally, individual conversation techniques enable supervisors to better understand the personal needs and challenges faced by each teacher. This creates a supportive work environment conducive to teachers' professional growth and improves learning quality at SD Negeri 61 Kota Banda Aceh. These findings can guide the development of educational policies and supervision practices in schools to achieve better learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of water contained in the Krueng Baru River area, South Aceh Regency, and to determine the effect of iron metal (Fe) pollution on the structure of snail shells found in the Krueng Baru River area, South Aceh Regency. This research was conducted on February 20/March 2021. Research sampling in the Krueng Baru River, South Aceh Regency. Ferrous heavy metals (Fe) were analyzed at the Chemistry Laboratory and Biological Laboratory of Syiah Kuala University. The research site contained research samples of suction snails (Cerithidea obtusa). The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique. The data processing method used in the research is the descriptive method. Based on the results of research that have been done, Fe heavy metal levels in water and biological indicators of Cerithidea obtusa at station I 1,264 ppm, station III 2,323 ppm, and most obtained at station II with an average amount of Fe levels reaching 2,592 ppm. Based on the results of the analysis, in terms of the biological indicators of the sucker Cerithidea obtusa, it shows that there are differences in water quality at Station I, Station II and Station III. Conclusions based on the results of research on water quality in the Krueng Baru River show the content of heavy metal compounds (Fe) in the river, which means the area is polluted with Fe.

Abstract

Edupreneurship must be part of student education. With edupreneurship, students are expected to learn independently, provide opportunities for others to work, behave according to their abilities, and think strategically when facing problems. This study aims to look at the integration of edupreneurs in craft lessons as local content. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The principal of SDN 1 Indrapuri is the subject of the study. Observations, documentation, and interviews were used to collect data. Data analysis involves reducing, presenting, and verifying or inferring data. The results show that edupreneurship can build student character in elementary school SDN 1 Indrapuri. In edupreneurs, educational planning is carried out through subject meetings where the teacher explains learning activities.AbstractPendidikan peserta didik harus mencakup edupreneurship. Melalui edupreneurship, peserta didik dimaksudkan untuk belajar mandiri, memberikan kesempatan kepada orang lain untuk bekerja, berperilaku sesuai kompetensi, dan berpikir strategis saat menghadapi masalah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran tentang desain, penyampaian, dan evaluasi edupreneurship. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek partisipan penelitian adalah Kepala Sekolah SDN 1 di Indrapuri. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data atau inferensi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa integrasi edupreneur dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar SDN 1 Indrapuri dapat membangun karakter peserta didik. Perencanaan pendidikan dalam edupreneur dilakukan melalui pertemuan mata pelajaran disaat guru menjelaskan kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model kinerja guru yang dibangun berdasarkan hubungan kausal asosiatif antara variabel eksogenus dengan variabel endogenus kinerja guru untuk diterapkan secara adaftif di SD Negeri Kecamatan Indrapuri Kabupaten Aceh Besar, kontribusi gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru SD Negeri di Kecamatan Indrapuri, kontribusi motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru SD Negeri di Kecamatan Indrapuri, dan kontribusi gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru SD Negeri di Kecamatan Indrapuri. Metode penelitian adalah kuantitatif jenis deskriptif studi korelasional dengan pola kajian korelatif. Sampel dalam peneltian ini berjumlah 62 orang yang diambil secara acak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru dengan ry1 sebesar 0,74 koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,55, kemudian memberikan sumbangan yang efektif sebesar 47,63%, terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara motivasi kerja dengan kinerja guru dengan ry2 sebesar 0,25 koefifisien determinasi sebesar 0,585, kemudian memberikan sumbangan yang efektif sebesar 10,87%, terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan secara bersama-sama antara gaya epemimpinan partisipatif kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru dengan ry12 sebesar 0,765 koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,585, kemudian memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 63,20%.AbstractThis research aims to determine the teacher performance model which is built based on associative causal relationships between exogenous variables and endogenous variables of teacher performance to be applied adaptively in State Elementary Schools, Indrapuri District, Aceh Besar Regency, the contribution of the principal's participative leadership style to the performance of State Elementary School teachers in the District. Indrapuri, the contribution of work motivation to the performance of State Elementary School teachers in Indrapuri District, and the contribution of the principal's participative leadership style and teacher work motivation to the performance of State Elementary School teachers in Indrapuri District. The research method is quantitative, descriptive correlational study type with a correlative study pattern. The sample in this research was 62 people taken randomly. The results of the research show that there is a positive and significant relationship between the principal's participative leadership style and teacher performance with ry1 of 0.74, coefficient of determination of 0.55, then providing an effective contribution of 47.63%, there is a positive and significant relationship between work motivation with teacher performance with ry2 of 0.25, the coefficient of determination is 0.585, then provides an effective contribution of 10.87%, there is a positive and significant relationship simultaneously between the principal's participative leadership style and work motivation on teacher performance with ry12 of 0.765 the coefficient of determination is 0.585, then provides an effective contribution of 63.20%.
