Abstract

Public service is an activity in which there is fulfillment of service needs in accordance with applicable regulations, because there are laws that regulate it, the community or residents have rights to goods or services and other administrative services that have been provided by public service providers. The purpose of this research is to be able to find out how the implementation of statutory regulations regarding the implementation of public service standards and what are the obstacles faced in public services. This writing uses the type of empirical legal research. This research is carried out by looking at the facts in the field where the contents of the research include understanding and studying how to apply the law directly to the subject of the field. The results and conclusions of this study are that the implementation of laws and regulations regarding the application of public service standards for the Population and Civil Registration Office of Magetan Regency has implemented the law well marked by the absence of problems with the community, although in conclusion it cannot be fully stated that the Magetan Population and Civil Registration Agency has universally implemented law but in one subject this can be said as a public service provider is already a very good thing.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop interactive multimedia based Articulate Storyline 3 on the subject of building volume, and to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of the product. The development model used is ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) developed by Robert Maribe Branch. The product that has been developed is tested for validity by media experts and material experts, after which it is tested on class VI students at SD Ulil Albab Caruban. The validity test results of media experts showed a value of 88.09% and material experts showed a value of 91.67%. The results of the trial on 30 students showed a score of 81.33%. Meanwhile, the effectiveness test carried out has a significant difference because Sig. (2-tailed) has a value of 0.000 less than 0.05 which shows that there is a difference between pre-test and post-test. From this description it can be concluded that the interactive multimedia developed is valid and effective for use in learning. Keywords: Interacti

Abstract

Type cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) is a learning model that involves the activities of all students and contains elements of play in small groups without any differences in status. Integration between types of cooperative learning models Teams Games Tournament (TGT) with Quizizz will make the learning process more fun and focused according to the stages of the learning model. This research aims to determine the effect of implementing a type of cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) assisted by Quizizz on the cognitive learning outcomes of junior high school students in science on vibration and wave material. This research design uses post-test only control group design with the type of research quasy experimental design. The research results show that the cooperative learning model is type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) has a significant influence on the cognitive science learning outcomes of junior high school students with a significance value (Sig.(2-tailed)) 0,000 < 0,005. Abstract

Less innovative learning activities have an impact on an unpleasant learning atmosphere. Project-based learning (PjBL) with a gamification approach presents innovative learning to increase motivation, engagement, and achievement of learner performance. As a gamification mechanism, the leaderboard provides feedback by reporting learner achievement and progress. This study aims to comprehensively analyze and provide evidence of the effect of the use of leaderboards and students' self-efficacy levels on their performance achievement in project-based learning. This study uses Quasi-experimental quantitative method with 2x3 factorial experimental design. The research sample consisted of 94 undergraduate students who took the Interactive Multimedia course. The data collection method used observation and questionnaires. The research instrument used a questionnaire sheet. Data were analyzed with inferential statistics using a two-way ANOVA test. The results showed a significant difference in the average performance score between the class that used the leaderboard and the class that did not use the leaderboard. The application of the leaderboard mechanism as a gamification method has a positive impact on students' learning achievement in project-based learning. The results also show that the level of self-efficacy has a significant impact on student achievement.

Abstract

Scientific publication is an academic activity that must be carried out. This article aims to analyze scientific publications in education: the “scourge” for academics. Several academics consisting of 10 lecturers, 10 teachers, and 10 students were interviewed to obtain valid data. Apart from that, observations and analysis of several documents were carried out to support valid data. The results show that academics have difficulty carrying out scientific publications due to limited knowledge and information regarding how to write scientific articles by journal standards, difficulty finding credible journals, difficulty identifying journals that suit the topic and scope of the article, language limitations, high publication costs, and intensity. Rejection from the journal editor. Based on the treatment carried out, namely through training on the effective scientific publication strategy "MeRePeCeKoRe", there was an increase in the knowledge and ability of academics to conduct scientific publications by 80%. Academics need practice and a habit of writing articles to improve their skills in scientific publications.

Abstract

Background: Publikasi artikel ilmiah merupakan salah satu kontribusi aktif para praktisi pembelajaran atau guru dalam menyebarluaskan wawasan praktis untuk khalayak. Namun, fakta di lapangan menunjukkan sebanyak 44 guru SMPN 1 Malang mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah. Metode: Pelatihan penyusunan artikel ilmiah pada jurnal Sinta perlu dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan penyusunan artikel ilmiah pada jurnal Sinta bagi guru SMPN 1 Malang. Pelaksanaan pengabdian di SMPN 1 Malang terhadap 44 orang guru dengan menggunakan metode pelaksanaan Pendidikan Masyarakat guna meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kesadaran pentingnya menulis artikel ilmiah bagi praktisi pendidikan. Hasil: Kegiatan pelatihan menunjukkan adanya respon positif yang ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan pada 44 orang guru SMPN 1 Malang dalam menghasilkan artikel ilmiah. Kesimpulan: Disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan penyusunan artikel ilmiah pada jurnal Sinta sangat efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru menulis artikel ilmiah berdasarkan hasil penelitian dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning design and evaluate the effectiveness of implementing a personalized learning approach in video editing education to enhance students' 21st-century digital competencies. The research focused on providing flexibility in the choice of video editing software to accommodate diverse hardware capabilities, ensuring inclusive participation regardless of students’ device limitations. A sample of 20 students from the Content Creator extracurricular program at Al Ulum Medan Junior High School was selected based on specific criteria, particularly the inability to install Adobe Premiere Pro due to hardware constraints. Data collection methods included pre-test and post-test assessments, surveys, and skills tests. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired t-tests to assess improvement in video editing skills after allowing students to use software suited to their devices. The findings indicated a significant improvement, with a 40% increase in mean scores from pre-test to post-test. The personalized approach not only enhanced students' technical skills but also improved motivation and engagement. The study concludes that personalized learning, through adaptive software selection, is effective in overcoming technical barriers and significantly enhances video editing competencies among junior high school students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a 20% increase in suicide cases among college students in Malang City. It aims to develop a telecounseling platform based on Facial Expression Analysis (FEA) to detect suicidal tendencies. The development follows a Research and Development (R&D) methodology, adapted from the ADDIE model and modified into four stages: analysis, design, development, and evaluation. Needs analysis shows that both counselors and clients require features such as scheduling, FEA reports, bibliocounseling, and forums. Expert validation results indicate that this platform is highly relevant, user-friendly, and engaging, with a validity index of 1. The final evaluation shows that the platform can enhance counselors' effectiveness and assist clients in managing their emotional issues. The designed features support a more comprehensive and in-depth counseling process.

Abstract

Background: This research was carried out due to the low level of student interest and learning outcomes in the historical material on the Japanese occupation period, caused by the complexity of the subject matter and the limited use of interactive and engaging learning media. And in previous research, it was still rare to examine the use of Edpuzzle in social studies, especially in history material, where previous research mostly examined science or mathematics.Purpose: The research was employed to determine the effectiveness of Edpuzzle interactive video learning media on students’ interest and learning outcomes in the topic of the Japanese occupation period for eighth-grade junior high school students.Method: This research employed a quantitative approach by a quasi-experimental design, specifically utilizing the non-equivalent pre-test post-test control group design.Results: The outcomes revealed that the use of Edpuzzle media was effective in improving students’ learning interest, but was not yet sufficiently effective in enhancing students’ learning outcomes on the topic of the Japanese occupation period for eighth-grade junior high school students. Where students’ interest in learning increased to 82.70% after using Edpuzzle.Theoretical implication: This research strengthens the CTML theory that reveals that interactive media can improve the learning process.Practical implication: The outcome of this research can be used to decide appropriate learning media for students.

Abstract

Kegiatan asesmen dalam evaluasi pembelajaran saat ini masih menggunakan media umum seperti Google Form atau kertas yang kerap berisiko menimbulkan kecurangan akademik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan inovasi media asesmen formatif yang layak digunakan dalam evaluasi pembelajaran. Media ini memanfaatkan teknologi QR card yang berbeda untuk tiap mahasiswa dalam menjawab soal asesmen guna mereduksi kecurangan akademik. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada asesmen formatif mahasiswa S1 Teknologi Pendidikan angkatan 2023 sebanyak 4 kelas dalam mata kuliah Inovasi Multimedia. Prosedur penelitian menggunakan metode Research & Development dengan model Thiagarajan, yaitu Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate (4D). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket validasi ahli media dan angket responden untuk mengetahui kelayakan media asesmen, dengan instrumen berupa lembar validasi dan angket respon mahasiswa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil akhir penelitian ini adalah produk media asesmen formatif berbasis teknologi QR yang mendapat respon positif dari ahli media dan mahasiswa, menunjukkan bahwa media ini layak digunakan dalam evaluasi pembelajaran untuk mengurangi kecurangan akademik.
