Abstract

Based on the results of observations and direct interaction with students of the Social Studies Education Study Program of UIN KHAS Jember as many as 65 students, both male and female, who are still active from semester 2 to semester 6 for 3 months, this study found that the results of student understanding of certain courses are greatly influenced by the learning system provided by the lecturer. The more the lecturer gives many reasoning tasks and also summarizes the material, the student's interest in learning also increases. In addition, the more creative the lecturer is in using learning methods, the more active and easier it is for students to achieve the expected learning objectives. However, whether the 65 students who were used as respondents can grasp the material quickly, moderately or slowly, this is what is interesting to study. The results of the hypothesis in this study, effective learning methods and strategies are needed to achieve learning objectives that can be obtained by each student. So to be able to teach well, before teaching a teacher must be able to answer three main questions, namely: 1) will students be able to learn?, 2) how to organize students so that they can achieve their learning objectives well?, 3) what things must be done related to individual differences that students have? Using a phenomenological approach, this study concludes that in the context of higher education, visual learning styles, auditory learning styles, and kinesthetic learning styles have a positive relationship or influence on student learning behavior in understanding learning materials. Increasing understanding of visual learning styles, auditory learning styles, and kinesthetic learning styles is one of the crucial aspects in preparing students to become competent and effective educators in today's educational context.

Abstract

Nahwu merupakan salah satu ilmu yang dikaji di dalam pondok pesantren atau madrasah diniyyah, ilmu tersebut menjadi alat untuk membaca kitab kuning yang tidak berharokat dan bermakna. Keberadaanya memiliki peran penting untuk dipelajari oleh para santri guna membantu dalam membaca kitab kuning/salaf yang menjadi kajian utama pada madrasah diniyyah. Namun di satu sisi ilmu nahwu dianggap sebagai pelajaran yang sangat sulit oleh kebanyakan para santri. Salah satunya pada Madrasah Diniyyah Al-Hikmah Kesilir Wuluhan Jember. Oleh karena itu para ustadz akan mencoba mengimplementasikan metode mind mapping dalam menyampaikan pembelajaran nahwu dengan bantuan media power point. Dalam pelaksanaannya ustadz terlebih dahulu mempersiapkan bahan materi yang akan diajarkan kepada para santri, yang dalam kesempatan ini difokuskan pada pembahasan materi fa’il. Selanjutnya ustadz merangkum materi-materi pokok mengenai definisi, contoh, dan pembagian fa’il yang kemudian akan disajikan dalam bentuk peta konsep atau mind mapping. Diantara tujuannya yaitu untuk meningkatkan semangat dan hasil belajar santri kelas III ibtida’ madrasah diniyyah Al-Hikmah. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan. Penentuan subyek penelitian secara purposive (bertujuan). Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes tulis dan lisan. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Keabsahan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan trianggulasi sumber dan teknik. Setelah prosedur penelitian tersebut kita laksanakan maka kita akan dapat melihat hasil dari proses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan. Dari analisa yang dilakukan akan kita ketahui bahwa pencapaian  hasil belajar para santri dengan metode mind mapping menggunakan powerpoint dapat mengalami peningkatan, namun juga harus disertai dengan keseriusan para santri dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran.   Kata kunci :

Abstract

This research aims to analyze animated learning videos' validity, practicality, and effectiveness with a problem-solving approach to improving elementary students' creative thinking skills in science learning. This research method used Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The research was conducted in three elementary schools using problem-solving learning syntax. The research instrument used validation sheets, observation sheets, pre-test and post-test questions and was analyzed using the N-Gain test. The learning video validation results obtained 95.8% with a very valid category. The practicality of learning videos in three schools obtained scores between 88.86% and 89.82% in the very practical category. The effectiveness of learning videos based on the N-gain score obtained showed that learning videos based on animation were in the high category. Based on these results, the animated learning videos with the problem-solving approach developed were valid, practical, and effective in improving students' creative thinking skills in elementary science learning.

Abstract

This research aims to develop PBL-based interactive worksheets that can improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school students in science learning that are valid, practical and effective when used. This research used the Design and Development (D&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The research subjects for the limited test were 30 students in class VI at SDN 3 Rogojampi. In the broad test, there were 42 students in class VI at SDN 1 Pengatigan and 32 students in class VI at SDN 2 Rogojampi. The instruments used consisted of 1) an RPP validation sheet, 2) an LKPD validation sheet, 3) a teacher response questionnaire sheet, and 4) student pretest-posttest questions to assess the effectiveness of the LKPD. The data analysis technique used was data analysis of the validity, effectiveness and practicality of the product being developed. The results of the validation by the material expert validator were 93%, the media expert validator was 91%, and the language expert validator was 91%. The results of the effectiveness of using interactive LKPD based on the N-gain score in the three institutions obtained an average score of 0.69, which is in the medium category. Practical results based on the implementation of the use of interactive worksheets obtained an average of 90% and, based on teacher responses, obtained an average of 91% in the very practical category. This study concludes that PBL-based interactive worksheets are valid, very practical and moderately effective for improving the thinking skills of sixth-grade elementary school students in science learning.

Abstract

This article explains the implementation of digital school management through the Smart Classroom (SCR) program. This qualitative research approach uses descriptive analysis—data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews. The study results show that a digital school is an educational institution with a learning process using digital equipment, books, and applications. Digital school management is establishing and implementing IT-based programs through the Smart Classroom program using software and hardware products. Second, Smart Classroom Learning at Al-Azhar 37 Islamic Middle School Pekanbaru uses an iPad. Educators create web-based, Google, and application-based learning materials. They were giving assignments/homework through tests and quizzes. Assessment of exam results through the Google form, students make important notes equipped with photo and video features that can be shared using the notes application as a collaboration with friends. This implementation has received support from the school by facilitating internet access via Wi-Fi hotspots within 24 hours. Third, the urgency of Smart Classrooms in educational institutions will make learning more effective, innovative, fun, comprehensive, and time efficient. The implications of this research are very beneficial for all elements of the school because it can facilitate the current student-centered learning process.

Abstract

Teaching and learning activities can be effective if the class is conducive, and this cannot be separated from the role of a teacher in managing the type. Teachers must pay attention to classroom management both personally and physically. This article aims to determine what a teacher must prepare to develop teaching methods with a class management approach at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 09 Jember Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach in collecting data using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The validation technique uses source triangulation, namely testing the credibility of the data, which is carried out by examining the data obtained using several sources. The research results conclude The teacher's preparation for learning is that the seating arrangements are carried out in various ways, such as traditional shapes, semicircular shapes, or the letter U and group shapes. The teacher adjusts the student's sitting position. The development of the learning method implemented is 1) The Market Place Activities learning method developed by the teacher can arouse enthusiasm/increase learning enthusiasm. 2) the Expert Group method can grow students' courage to express their opinions in class. 3) the Group Investigation method can cultivate good work habits in everyday life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui penerapan media pembelajaran lectora inspire 17 dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Sumberwuluh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian tiga guru dan siswa kelas V sebanyak 23 pada pembelajaran matematika semester genap tahun ajaran 2021-2022. Instrumen pendukung menggunakan, pedoman wawancara, alat rekam, dan pedoman observasi. Teknik atau metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu: wawancara, observasi tempat kejadian dan studi dokumenter. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi media pembelajaran yang sudah diterapkan di Madrasah Ibtida’iyah Miftahul Ulum Sumberwuluh pada media pembelajaran lectora inspire 17 dengan materi matematika tentang volume bangun ruang kubus dan balok, bilangan pangkat tiga dan akar pangkat tiga sudah meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas 5 dengan nilai diatas KKM, sehingga media ini menjadi efektif dan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran, akan tetapi saat mengerjakan quis soal dengan menggunakan labtop setiap anak masih dipandu oleh guru-guru, karena anak-anak masih belum sepenuhnya menguasai pc tersebut.

Abstract

One of the main challenges in education today is the low motivation to learn among students. Many learners feel less enthusiastic about participating in classroom learning processes. This is partly caused by monotonous learning activities, where the teaching methods used lack variety and innovation. Often, the learning process is still dominated by one-way lecturing methods, causing students to become passive listeners with little opportunity to actively engage in learning. As a result, students feel bored and less challenged to develop their potential and creativity. The aim of this research is to encourage students to be more active in the learning process as well as to build a comfortable learning atmosphere that is supportive and emotionally positive, so that students feel safe and able to express themselves during learning. A comfortable learning environment enables students to maximize their learning potential and improve their learning outcomes as reflected in their academic performance. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design, specifically the One Group Pre-test and Post-test design. The subjects in this study were seventh-grade students at SMPN 1 Bantaran, selected using Simple Random Sampling (CRS) technique. From the randomization, class VII-A was chosen as the sole sample, consisting of 28 students. Learning outcome data were collected through a multiple-choice test consisting of 20 items, which had previously undergone validity, reliability, difficulty level, discrimination power, and distractor effectiveness tests using Anates V4 software. Data analysis techniques included normality test, homogeneity test, and Paired Sample t-test using SPSS version 25 for Windows, to determine whether there was a significant effect of the implementation of the Quantum Teaching model on student learning outcomes. The results showed that there was a significant effect from the Quantum Teaching model. Data analysis using the Paired Sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000, which is below the threshold of 0.05. This finding indicates a significant difference between learning outcomes before and after the implementation of the model. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Quantum Teaching model has a significant effect on improving student learning outcomes, particularly in Social Studies subjects at SMPN 1 Bantaran
