Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap struktur kepribadian tokoh utama dalam novel The Sweet Sins karya Rangga Wirianto Putra. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, dalam analisis ini digunakan teori kepribadian yang dicetuskan oleh Carl Gustav Jung, yaitu menggunakan konsep sikap jiwa dan fungsi jiwa dalam struktur kepribadian manusia. Dari analisis yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut. Pertama, berdasarkan sikap jiwanya, tokoh utama (Rei) dikategorikan sebagai tipe ekstrovert, yaitu tipe terbuka. Kehidupan Rei lebih dipengaruhi oleh dunia objektif, dunia yang berada di luar dirinya sehingga dia termasuk tipe yang gampang menerima kondisi lingkungan sekitarnya. Orang dengan tipe ekstrovert bersikap positif terhadap masyarakat, seperti mudah bergaul, dan mudah berkomunikasi dengan orang lain. Kedua, berdasarkan fungsi jiwa, pengarang menggambarkan Rei sebagai seorang pribadi yang perasa, artinya menilai atas dasar menyenangkan dan tidak menyenangkan. Fungsi perasa pada Rei merupakan fungsi superior yang berkembang pada taraf sadar. Pada taraf sadar, fungsi perasa memengaruhi setiap tindakan yang dilakukan Rei. Fungsi pemikir, sebagai pasangan fungsi perasa, menjadi fungsi inferior karena kurang berkembang dan direpresi pada taraf tak sadar.Kata kunci: tokoh utama, sikap jiwa, fungsi jiwa, novel The Sweet Sins

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap struktur ketaksadaran kolektif tokoh utama (Rei) dalam novel The Sweet Sins karya Rangga Wirianto Putra. Dalam analisis ini digunakan teori kepribadian Jung, yaitu konsep struktur ketaksadaran kolektif dalam jiwa manusia yang meliputi persona, anima-animus, shadow, dan self. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Dari analisis yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut. Pertama, tokoh Rei menggunakan persona sebagai cara untuk menyesuaikan diri di lingkungannya. Kedua, shadow dalam diri Rei merupakan pengalaman yang ditolak karena tidak sesuai dengan moral atau norma yang berlaku. Ketiga, tokoh Rei memproyeksikan anima dalam dirinya bukan kepada perempuan tetapi pada sesama laki-laki. Keempat, self dalam diri Rei ditunjukkan dalam bentuk perjuangan untuk mencapai keseimbangan taraf kesadaran dan ketaksadaran saat berpisah dengan pasangannya. Struktur ketaksadaran tokoh Rei memengaruhi kon ik yang terjadi dalam dirinya maupun dengan tokoh yang lain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas aplikasi Fizzo dalam menumbuhkan minat baca siswa SMA kelas X, mengingat tantangan rendahnya minat baca di era digital dan minimnya kajian spesifik terhadap aplikasi populer. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan sepuluh siswa kelas X SMA Ma’arif Karangmoncol yang aktif menggunakan Fizzo, dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket tertutup dan terbuka untuk gambaran kuantitatif awal, serta wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan siswa dan guru Bahasa Indonesia untuk mendalami motivasi dan hambatan. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik induktif, didukung triangulasi sumber dan metode untuk validitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun minat baca konvensional masih perlu ditingkatkan, aplikasi Fizzo secara signifikan meningkatkan ketertarikan siswa terhadap membaca, terutama karena aksesibilitas ubiquitous learning dan keberagaman konten. Mayoritas siswa merasa senang dan terbantu dengan Fizzo, bahkan memilihnya dibandingkan buku fisik. Namun, potensi distraksi digital dan pentingnya literasi digital siswa juga teridentifikasi sebagai faktor krusial. Simpulan menunjukkan bahwa Fizzo berpotensi besar sebagai inovasi pembelajaran, namun keberhasilannya bergantung pada integrasi pedagogis yang cermat, pelatihan literasi digital, dan pengelolaan distraksi.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to improve the descriptive writing skills of 7th-grade students at Al Karamah Junior High School using the picture and picture learning model. The research method used was classroom action research, conducted in two cycles including planning, action implementation, analysis, and reflection. The study involved 26 7th-grade students at Al Karamah Junior High School. The findings showed that the picture and picture learning model significantly enhanced the students' ability to write descriptive texts from the pre-cycle stage to cycle I and from cycle I to cycle II. The study concluded that the picture and picture learning model effectively enhance the descriptive writing skills of 7th-grade students at Al Karamah Junior High School, with students showing improved work quality and achievement, increasing from 26% before the intervention to 33% in cycle I and 88% in cycle II.

Abstract

This study aims to implement the estafet writing method to improve the short story writing skills of Grade XI students at SMK Kesehatan Madani Indonesia. The study employed a Classroom Action Research method conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection techniques were carried out through direct observation and interviews with teachers and students. The results showed that the implementation of the estafet writing method effectively improved students' short story writing skills. In the first cycle, student participation increased, although challenges remained in discussions and story structuring. In the second cycle, with smaller group formations and more focused themes, students demonstrated significant improvements in contribution, creativity, and the quality of their writing. The average student scores increased from the pre-cycle to the second cycle, with a completion rate reaching 100%. This method not only enhanced students' writing skills but also fostered teamwork, creativity, and active participation in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the form and meaning of speech in the Dayak Benuaq tribe's Pelulukng (Traditional Marriage) ceremony. The method used in this research is the semiotic method which is used to understand the form and meaning of speech, especially icons, symbols, and indexes. Data collection methods used include observation and interviews, as well as using tapping techniques. From the research results, it was found that eleven utterances in the form of icons, twelve in the form of an index, and twelve words in the speech in the form of symbols. First, the speech in the form of an icon is a form of action from the Pemeliant because it has similarities or similarities between the speech and the actions taken. Second, speech in the form of an index shows that the utterances spoken by Pemeliant have a cause-effect relationship or contain a causal relationship with the signified. Third, the words in the speech in the form of symbols are the result of the agreement or convention of the Dayak Benuaq community.

Abstract

According to Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalysis theory, this study aims to reveal the portrait of Trapani, “the mama’s boy,” in the novel Laskar Pelangi. Laskar Pelangi was written by Andrea Hirata in 2006. The literature technique was used to collect data. The collected data were analyzed using Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalysis theory. This novel tells the story of 10 underprivileged Muhammadiyah elementary school students who live in Bangka Belitung. Most of the the students’ parents’ jobs are tin miners. Trapani is a character in Laskar Pelangi. Although Trapani is not the main character in Laskar Pelangi, the character of Trapani, “the mama’s boy,” illustrates the imbalance of three important components in forming personality. The three important components are id, ego, and superego. The result of the research is that Trapani’s id, which is very dependent on his mother, affects his balance of ego and superego. The imbalance of the three important components, namely id, ego, and superego, causes Trapani’s psyche to be disturbed.

Abstract

Many students experience difficulties in writing, one of which is when writing descriptive text. This study aimed to improve students' skills in writing descriptive texts using the guiding question technique. This research is a class action research with a total of two cycles. The activities of each cycle include action planning, action implementation, observation or evaluation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 15 students of class VII MTs Hidayatul Husna. Data was collected using the test method, while descriptive statistics were used in data analysis techniques. The results showed that the application of the guiding question technique was able to improve students' writing skills. It can be seen from the increase in completeness that occurred in cycle 1 to cycle 2, which rose from 60% to 86.67%. The conclusion is that students' writing related to descriptive text has improved after using the guiding question technique at MTs Hidayatul Husna.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the life of calabai and bissu, as well as the views of the people depicted in the Calabai novel by Pepi Al-Bayqunie. This research is library research with a qualitative approach. Data analysis was carried out through several stages, namely the data classification stage, data analysis, and the conclusion of the analysis results. The results of this study indicate that calabai and bissu are gender variations other than men and women in Bugis culture as illustrated in the Calabai novel by Pepi Al-Bayqunie. Calabai who was described by the author in the novel was a Calabai who had privileges and finally he became a bissu. In relation to the existence of calabai and bissu as illustrated in the novel, it turns out that there is a rejection from the group who consider these two gender variations to be incompatible with human nature. The existence of calabai is a problem because it is contrary to the social construction that already exists in the community. However, unlike calabai, the existence of bissu is considered more respectable because it plays an important role in Bugis culture.

Abstract

This study focused on the analysis of the facts used to form the fabula which was defamiliarized into sjuzet in the novel Entrok by Okky Madasari. To analyze the facts, Russian Formalism theory and objective approach were used in this study. The results showed that the story in the novel used historical facts from the new order to form fabula. Subsequently the fabula was defamiliarized into sjuzet.The results also indicated that there was a fictionalization process conducted by the author in creating the story which used historical facts.Keywords: fabula, the new order, russian formalism
