Abstract

Solok Regency is the largest shallot producing district in West Sumatra Province. The abundant harvest has had a positive impact on housewives who do not work by becoming daily laborers peeling shallots. Peeled red onions produce abundant waste, the use of which has not been optimized. There are various benefits contained in shallots which are useful for plant growth, this is based on previous research that has been carried out. Organic fertilizer can be produced by utilizing shallot waste. The aim of Community Service (PKM) activities is to provide additional knowledge to the community in utilizing shallot waste into organic fertilizer that can be used for home garden plants. The target of this activity is housewives who are daily laborers for peeling shallots, totaling 25 people. This PKM activity consists of stages of observation, socialization, discussion and evaluation. The service activities took place during July 2023. The results of this activity were 1) participant participation in attendance reached 92% and participant activeness reached 80%, 2) participants' understanding in following the material reached 84%, 3) participants' skills in processing shallot waste amounted to 80%.

Abstract

The integration of technology in the learning process remains a significant challenge, especially in remote areas like SMA Negeri 4 Seram Bagian Timur. Limited infrastructure and low technological literacy among teachers have led to a lack of innovation in delivering learning materials. This activity aims to improve digital literacy and skills in creating technology-based learning media using Canva. The partner in this activity is SMA Negeri 4 Seram Bagian Timur, targeting 28 students and 1 teacher. The implementation of the activity is carried out in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. In the preparation stage, materials and tools are prepared. The implementation involves direct training using a Knowledge Transfer approach and the Community Development Model. The training sessions include an introduction to Canva, a workshop on creating media, and mentoring in the design process. Evaluation is done through pre-tests, post-tests, and response questionnaires. The results showed an average post-test score increase to 84.82 from 63.75 in the pre-test. The N-Gain analysis indicated a 57.82% improvement. Recommendations from this activity include the need for ongoing support for infrastructure and advanced technology training so that the skills gained can be consistently applied in the learning process

Abstract

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in education offers significant potential for enhancing the quality of learning and teaching efficiency. This study aims to evaluate AI-based teaching material development training using Kelas Ajaib on the Canva application, provided to 40 teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Ambon. The methods used included a workshop approach and interactive simulations, designed to improve teachers' competence in designing technology-based teaching media. The evaluation results showed that participants' enthusiasm reached 85%, while satisfaction levels were 86%, indicating a positive response to the training. However, competence levels in developing teaching media only reached 75%, indicating the need for additional mentoring and improved technological infrastructure. The main obstacles identified included hardware limitations and adaptation to new technology. Recommendations include further training, increased technical support, and the strengthening of school infrastructure. The implications of this training highlight the importance of collaboration among educational stakeholders to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of AI technology implementation in teaching. Further research is recommended to evaluate the long-term impact of this training on teaching quality and student engagement.

Abstract

This research discusses the theme of developing an information system for human resource management (HR) at the Sukamandi Fish Breeding Research center(BRPI). Some processes at BRPI are still carried out in common ways, such as applying for leave, transferring employees, pension information, and preparing reports. This condition results in problems that arise, such as delays in managing and processing employee information and data by Civil Service Staff. This is designing an e-HRM (electronic-Human Resource Management) information system that can produce accurate information in a short time, as well as providing a reference basis for agencies in overcoming existing problems. The research method used is the waterfall development model which begins with analyzing user needs based on the actors involved, designing tailored to user needs, implementation, verification and the final stage of maintenance. The discussion in this research includes employee data management, such as employee transfers, leave requests, pension information, and making reports at BRPI Sukamandi. The result of this research is to design and build an information system for BRPI Sukamandi that makes it easier for Civil Service staff to organize, process and maintain data about personnel (employees) and then increase the productivity of each employee.

Abstract

Karawang Regency is a rice barn and a large industrial area with a high regional minimum wage (UMR). However, the level of welfare is still a problem for leaders, considering that welfare is always associated with asset ownership measured in rupiah units to ensure financial inclusion in the community. Karawang district is interesting for discussion. This study aims to analyse the effect of Islamic financial inclusion on welfare through religiosity based on Tawhidi string relations, data processing using quantitative data processing techniques with multiple regression analysis, and placing religiosity as an intervening. This study uses primary data collected through questionnaires with a sampling quota of 564 respondents, with the locus of karawang district. The results showed that the path coefficient (mediation) of the indirect effect of inclusion on welfare through religiosity was 0.111 with a z-value (Sobel Test) of (5.132). The direct effect of Islamic financial inclusion (X2) on welfare (Y) through religiosity (X3) is positive and significant if we look at the direct effect of the Islamic financial inclusion coefficient (X2) on improving welfare (Y) of 0.302, this indicates that there is a positive effect of financial inclusion. Sharia is towards improving people's welfare; the more people can access sharia financial inclusion, the higher the level of welfare that the community will enjoy.

Abstract

The tri dharma of higher education contains elements of teaching, research, and service that must be carried out by lecturers in higher education. Community service is a forum for lecturers to contribute to the community according to the field they are engaged in. Learning is an activity carried out to achieve the goals of learning itself. In the learning process, it does not only provide information from educators to students. However, learning must be prepared carefully, one of which is through the provision of interesting learning media and in accordance with the times. Community service activities carried out with the title of training in the preparation of e-module-based learning media for teachers. This training activity through community service (PKM) provides space for teachers to innovate in developing the quality of learning through the development of appropriate learning media. This activity also provides an overview for teachers in carrying out their obligations according to the policy, namely the implementation of the independent learning curriculum. Through this activity, data were collected descriptively by describing responses and feedback with the implementation of this activity, namely providing a positive response in media development with the aim of increasing the pedagogic competence of teachers for quality learning preparation
