Abstract

This community service activity was motivated by the potential of local natural resources in the form of Torch Ginger flowers (Etlingera elatior) in Mandalawangi Village, Pandeglang Regency, which have not been optimally utilized despite their high antioxidant activity and potential to be processed into probiotic kombucha beverages that are beneficial for health and possess economic value. The purpose of this activity was to improve the knowledge and skills of members of the Karang Taruna Cahaya Mandala in producing Torch Ginger flower kombucha as an effort to enhance public health and welfare. The activity was carried out through interactive lectures, hands-on training, and counseling using leaflet media, involving 30 respondents selected based on their active participation in the community. Knowledge evaluation was conducted through pretest and posttest assessments using the Wilcoxon test to analyze significant differences in knowledge levels before and after the activity. The results showed an increase in the knowledge level categorized as “good” from 63% before the training to 90% after the training, with a significance value of p = 0.000 (p<0.05), indicating that the activity was effective in improving participants’ understanding of Torch Gingerflower kombucha production. In addition to increasing health awareness, this activity also contributed positively to community economic empowerment through the development of local value-added products. In conclusion, the training and counseling on Torch Ginger flower kombucha production proved effective in enhancing community knowledge and skills; however, further activities are recommended, including business mentoring and product certification, to ensure the sustainability and broader impact of the program.

Abstract

Karawang Regency is a rice barn and a large industrial area with a high regional minimum wage (UMR). However, the level of welfare is still a problem for leaders, considering that welfare is always associated with asset ownership measured in rupiah units to ensure financial inclusion in the community. Karawang district is interesting for discussion. This study aims to analyse the effect of Islamic financial inclusion on welfare through religiosity based on Tawhidi string relations, data processing using quantitative data processing techniques with multiple regression analysis, and placing religiosity as an intervening. This study uses primary data collected through questionnaires with a sampling quota of 564 respondents, with the locus of karawang district. The results showed that the path coefficient (mediation) of the indirect effect of inclusion on welfare through religiosity was 0.111 with a z-value (Sobel Test) of (5.132). The direct effect of Islamic financial inclusion (X2) on welfare (Y) through religiosity (X3) is positive and significant if we look at the direct effect of the Islamic financial inclusion coefficient (X2) on improving welfare (Y) of 0.302, this indicates that there is a positive effect of financial inclusion. Sharia is towards improving people's welfare; the more people can access sharia financial inclusion, the higher the level of welfare that the community will enjoy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of financial literacy and technological ease on the decision to use e-wallet services among the millennial generation. Digital transformation in the financial sector has introduced various electronic payment service innovations that increasingly facilitate public transactions. Millennials, as technologically adaptive users, have become a primary market segment in the adoption of e-wallets. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey technique involving 385 millennial respondents aged 25–40 years who actively use e-wallet services. Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on the decision to use e-wallets, with a path coefficient value of 0.342 and a t-statistic of 6.847. Technological ease also has a positive and significant effect on e-wallet usage decisions, with a path coefficient of 0.518 and a t-statistic of 9.326. Simultaneously, financial literacy and technological ease explain 68.4% of the variance in e-wallet usage decisions. These findings imply the importance of enhancing digital financial literacy and developing increasingly user-friendly features to encourage broader adoption of e-wallets among millennials. This study provides practical contributions for e-wallet service providers in designing marketing strategies and product development aligned with the characteristics of millennial users.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the most disaster-prone countries in the world, making early disaster mitigation education crucial. Geography education holds significant potential for integrating disaster literacy, especially within the context of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes flexibility and contextual learning. This study aims to explore the forms and strategies of integrating disaster mitigation content into high school geography instruction. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers and students, classroom observations, and document analysis of teaching modules and student projects. The results indicate that disaster mitigation topics are integrated into several geography themes such as lithosphere dynamics, risk mapping, and regional development. Teachers implement project-based learning strategies, disaster simulations, and digital media to enhance student engagement. The developed teaching modules have shown to improve disaster literacy and support the achievement of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila dimensions, particularly critical thinking, collaboration, and environmental awareness. However, challenges remain, including limited access to locally relevant learning resources and insufficient teacher training. This study recommends strengthening teacher capacity through targeted training, developing a national module framework based on disaster mitigation, and fostering cross-sector collaboration to optimize the integration of disaster education in geography instruction
