Abstract

Central Java is one of the provinces with the highest number of positive Covid-19 cases in Indonesia, with 46,903 positive infected cases, with a death rate of 2,110 people (4.49%).  During the COVID-19 pandemic, community activities decrease, especially during the fasting month.  Their diet has also changed.  This study aimed to describe and analyse the relationship between nutritional intake and physical activity on people's sleep quality during the fasting month during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The benefit of this research is to provide information on factors related to people's sleep quality, so as to improve public health. The novelty of this research is on aspects of physical activity, and people's sleep quality during the fasting month during the covid-19 pandemic. This research method is observational using a cross-sectional approach. The research was conducted during the fasting month (Ramadan 2021) to find out the nutritional intake, physical activity, and quality of people's sleep while fasting amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This study was attended by 520 respondents who were willing to fill out a questionnaire distributed via Googleform. Respondents in this study were limited to people who live in Central Java. The selection of respondents using the cluster sampling technique and then the snowball method.  The questionnaires were the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), IPAQ and DQI.  The results showed no relationship between physical activity and slept quality during the fasting month (p : 0.402).  There is a relationship between food consumption, sleep quality (p: 0.0001), and physical activity (0.007) during the fasting month.

Abstract

Di masa pandemi Covid, masyarakat dihadapkan dengan permasalahan ekonomi, seperti pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK), menurunnya pendapatan bagi sebagian para pedagang, bahkan ada yang sampai harus menutup usahanya karena terdampak pandemi. Masyarakat harus pandai-pandai memanfaatkan sumber daya yang ada, salah satunya dengan memelihara lele di lahan sekitar rumah. lele termasuk ikan yang mudah untuk dikembangbiakkan, dan mampu bertahan hidup dengan berbagai keadaan lingkungan. Permasalahan yang ditemukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah dengan banyaknya masyarakat yang memelihara ikan lele, masyarakat menjadi kesulitan untuk menjual lele saat lele yang mereka pelihara sudah siap panen. Untuk itu solusi yang ditawarkan dalam kegiatan pengabdian untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi mitra adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan pembuatan abon lele, dalam upaya meningkatkan nilai jual dan daya simpan ikan lele, sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan ketahanan pangan dan meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga di Kelurahan Patemon Kecamatan Gunungpati Semarang. Untuk menilai efektivitas dari kegiatan pengabdian ini, dilakukan pengukuran pretest dan posttest. Dari kegiatan pengabdian ini didapatkan hasil bahwa bahwa kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, persepsi dan praktik ibu rumah tangga tentang pengolahan ikan lele. Saran yang bisa disampaikan kepada para ibu rumah tangga di Kelurahan Patemon supaya dapat terus mempraktikkan ketrampilan pengolahan ikan lele, sehingga dapat membantu meningkatkan income keluarga.

Abstract

Abstrak: Stunting merupakan permasalahan kesehataan anak di Indonesia yang perlu diperhatikan. Berbagai upaya dilakukan dalam upaya percepatan penurunan stunting di Indonesia. Kabupaten Magelang merupakan satu kabupaten yang telah ditetapkan sebagai wilayah prioritas percepatan penurunan stunting. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat yaitu remaja dalam rangka pencegahan stunting sejak dini. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendidikan kesehatan dengan ceramah dan demonstrasi. Kegiatan pembentukan duta remaja cegah stunting ini diikuti oleh 20 orang remaja dari 10 kecamatan di Kabupaten Magelang. Setelah dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan ini didapatkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan remaja dan berhasil ditunjuk sepasang remaja duta cegah stunting kabupaten magelang. Dengan demikian diharapkan peran serta dari duta remaja tersebut untuk edukasi pada teman sebaya mengenai penceghan stunting   Abstract: Stunting is a child health problem in Indonesia that needs attention. Various efforts have been made to accelerate the reduction of stunting in Indonesia. Magelang Regency is one of the districts that has been designated as a priority area for the acceleration of stunting reduction. The purpose of this community service is to increase community participation, namely youth, in the context of preventing stunting from an early age. The method used is health education with lectures and demonstrations. The activity to form youth ambassadors to prevent stunting was attended by 20 teenagers from 10 sub-districts in Magelang Regency. After carrying out this health education, it was found that there was an increase in the knowledge and skills of adolescents and a pair of young ambassadors for preventing stunting in Magelang district were successfully appointed. Thus it is hoped that the role of the youth ambassadors will be to educate peers about stunting prevention.

Abstract

Hypertension is a disease when a person's blood pressure exceeds normal limits. Hypertension can be caused by controllable and uncontrollable factors. Consumption of foods low in fiber, high in fat and sodium is one of the causes factors that can be controlled. This research was to analyze the relationship between intake of fat, fiber, sodium and sleep quality to hypertension in the Central Magelang Health Center area. This case control study used purposive sampling technique with a minimum number of cases and controls for each group of 47 subjects. The inclusion criteria for case subjects were grade 1 and 2 hypertension patients aged 45-59 years and had taken hypertension medication for the last 6 months. The inclusion criteria for the control group were men or women aged 45-59 years who did not had hypertension. Data was obtained by interviews using the SQ-FFQ and PSQI questionnaires. Data was performed using univariate analysis, bivariate analysis with the Spearman test and multivariate analysis with a linear regression test. The results obtained were fat and fiber intake had significant relationship (p-value=0,000) and (p-value=0,014) to systolic blood pressure. Sodium intake and sleep quality had significant relationship (p-value=0,000) and (p-value=0,000) to systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure (p-value=0,047) and (p-value=0,003). Fat and fiber intake were related to systolic blood pressure, and sodium intake and sleep quality were related to systolic and diastolic blood pressure in hypertensive patients.

Abstract

Hypertension is still a major problem in the world. Hypertension is related to total cholesterol levels where the narrowing and stiffness of the blood vessel walls causes blood pressure to increase. Non-pharmacological therapy by consuming foodstuffs that contain potassium, for example, blimbi and cucumber. This study aims to determine the effect of giving a combination of blimbi juice and cucumber on blood pressure and total cholesterol in elderly hypertensives in Patapan Village, Cirebon Regency. This study used Quasy Experimental Design using a pre-post test with control group approach. Sampling using purposive sampling totaling 22 people each in the intervention group and the control group. The combination of blimbi juice and cucumber is taken in the morning for 7 days in a row with a dose of 300 ml. After giving a combination of blimbi juice and cucumber in the intervention group, the average blood pressure decreased by 151.95/86.68mmHg and cholesterol 222.05mg/dL and in the control group the average was 148.95/87.91mmHg mmHg. and total cholesterol 214.77 mg/dL. Based on the independent t test, the p value of systolic blood pressure was 0.047 (<0.05) and diastolic 0.201 (>0.05) and total cholesterol 0.046 (<0.05). This means that there is a significant difference in effect on systolic blood pressure and there is no significant effect on diastolic blood pressure and there is a significant effect on total cholesterol.

Abstract

Status gizi lebih dan status gizi kurang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yaitu pengetahuan terkait gizi, asupan zat gizi makro dan aktivitas fisik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan gizi, asupan zat gizi makro dan aktivitas fisik dengan status gizi taruna dan taruni. Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan rancangan case control. Jumlah sampel berjumlah 178 responden dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner pengetahuan gizi, asupan zat gizi makro menggunakan kuesioner SQ-FFQ dan aktivitas fisik menggunakan PAL . Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square dan uji Fisher. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara pengetahuan gizi (p=0,000) dan asupan zat gizi makro (p=0,000) dengan status gizi taruna dan taruni. Namun tidak ada hubungan aktivitas fisik (p=1,000) dengan status gizi taruna dan taruni. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan pengetahuan gizi dan asupan zat gizi makro dengan status gizi taruna dan taruni namun tidak ada hubungan aktivitas fisik dengan status gizi taruna dan taruni.

Abstract

Prevalensi Diabetes Melitus di Indonesia pada tahun 2018 cenderung mengalami kenaikan yaitu sebesar 2 %. Terapi diet yang dianjurkan adalah 3J yaitu tepat jenis, jumlah, dan jadwal. Makanan tinggi serat dan beta-karoten dibutuhkan untuk pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 agar darah tetap stabil dan mencegah stres oksidatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kadar beta-karoten, serat kasar, protein, dan sifat organoleptik snack bar labu kuning dan kacang merah dalam beberapa formulasi. Desain penelitian studi eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Metode penelitian menggunakan uji hedonik untuk mengetahui sifat organoleptik dan uji laboratorium untuk uji beta-karoten, serat kasar, dan protein. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Uji Kruskal Wallis untuk sifat organoleptik, dan beta karoten serta uji One Way ANOVA untuk serat dan protein. Hasil uji beta karoten menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 30,541 mg/100 g (p=0,007), serat kasar menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 16,969 g (p=0,002), protein dengan nilai rata-rata 9,998 g (p=0,000). Hasill uji organoleptik hedonik yang paling disukai pada aspek warna adalah F1 dan F3, aspek rasa dan aroma dengan F2, dan aspek tekstur dengan F3. Snack bar dengan sifat organoleptik secara keseluruhan (warna, rasa, aroma, tekstur) yang paling disukai panelis dan uji kandungan gizi terbaik adalah snack bar F2 (70% labu kuning : 30% kacang merah) memiliki kadar beta-karoten 9,162 mg, serat 4,5 g, dan protein 3 g per saji (30 gram).

Abstract

Background: Semarang City 2020, 1.36% of pregnant women with hypertension, in January 2021 there were 5.65% of pregnant women with hypertension, and 13.8% of cases were at Puskesmas Gunungpati. The purpose of the study was to analyze the risk factors for hypertension in pregnant women in the Puskesmas Gunungpati, Semarang City. Methods: The research method used was analytic observational research with a case control approach. The study was conducted in June-August 2021 at Puskesmas Gunungpati Working Area. The sampling technique used was quota sampling with a total sample of 74 respondents, with a comparison of case and control groups of 1: 1. The data analysis carried out was univariate analysis, bivariate analysis (Chi square test) and multivariate analysis (logistic regression test). Results: The p-value on the variables of pre-pregnancy weight was 0.008 (<0.05), sodium intake 0.005 (<0.05), potassium intake 0.465 (>0.05), calcium intake 0.005 (<0.05), gravidity 0.580 (>0.05), maternal age 0.021 (<0.05), and family history of hypertension 0.000 (<0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between pre-pregnancy weight, sodium intake, calcium intake, maternal age, and family history of hypertension with the incidence of hypertension in pregnant women. There is no relationship between potassium intake and gravidity with the incidence of hypertension in pregnant women.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pembelajaran daring selama pandemi COVID-19 memberikan pengaruh terhadap stres akademik, penurunan Aktivitas fisik dan gangguan pola makan pada peserta didik. Perubahan ini dapat berisiko meningkatkan obesitas. Prevalensi obesitas remaja di Indonesia terus mengalami peningkatan sebesar 31,0% pada tahun 2018, sedangkan di Jawa Tengah sebesar 31,52% dan Kabupaten Demak sebesar 7% kasus pada tahun 2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara stress akademik, pola makan, dan aktivitas fisik dengan kejadian obesitas remaja pada masa pandemi.Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain studi cross- sectional. Sampel pada penelitian sebesar 60 siswa dengan teknik total sampling. Instrument yang digunakan adalah kuesioner terstruktur dan panduan wawancara. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat lalu data diuji dengan rank spearman rho.Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara stres akademik dengan obesitas remaja (p = 0,005), ada hubungan antara pola makan dengan obesitas remaja (p = 0,026;), ada hubungan antara aktivitas fisik dengan obesitas remaja (p = 0,014).Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara stres akademik, pola makan, dan aktivitas fisik dengan kejadian obesitas remaja pada masa pandemi COVID-19

Abstract

Background: Stunting describes poor linear growth with z-score TB/U <-2SD. In 2020, Kebondalem Village had 27.9% stunting cases, exceeding provincial (27.7%) and national (26.9%). This study aims to analyze the relationship between risk factors and the stunting toddler incident in Kebondalem Village, Pemalang District, Pemalang Regency. Methods: This research is an observational quantitative analytic with a case-control design. Sampling using simple random sampling technique, with 49 cases and 49 controls. History of exclusive breastfeeding, acute diarrhea, family income per capita, and maternal education were obtained by questionnaire, while history of growth and development monitoring was obtained by KMS. Analysis through Chi-Square test and risk value test. Results: The results showed that there was a relationship between stunting and a history of exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.000; OR=0.146; CI95%=0.057-0.377), family income per capita (p=0.025; OR=0.395, CI95%=0.174-0.898); and mother's education (p=0.013, OR=0.308, CI95% =0.119-0.797). However, there was no relationship between stunting and a history of acute diarrhea (p=0.094; OR=2.037; CI95%=0.882-4.706) and a history of growth monitoring (p=0.161; OR=0.443; CI95%=0.139–1.409). Conclusion: Toddlers without exclusive breastfeeding, having a history of acute diarrhea, low family income per capita, low maternal education, and a history of poor growth monitoring, have a greater risk of experiencing stunting.
