Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: People with disabilities, especially the blind, are members of society who have limited vision. Therefore, they require specific methods to learn certain skills to earn a living. One such skill suitable for the blind is massage therapy, which can be learned without relying on sight, but relying on the sense of touch. Purpose: This paper aims to describe the experience of training blind people to perform a special massage treatment called Tuina Chuzhen. Methods: The experience of training blind people to perform Tuina Chuzhen massage is described chronologically and systematically from facts and primary data collected during six training sessions at the Daya Dharma Institute of the Archdiocese of Jakarta, with support from traditional Chinese medicine experts from the Nalanda Institute. Main Results: The Tuina Chuzhen massage training for 20 blind people went smoothly during six sessions over a period of one month. The training participants successfully mastered the Tuina Chuzhen method using the provided short wooden rods. Mastery of these skills was evident in the participants' recognition and their ability to pass the competency test conducted by the Nalanda Institute's assessment team after the training. Conclusion: Tuina Chuzhen massage training can bring tangible benefits to the visually impaired. Keywords: Massage, tuina Chuzhen, disability, visual impairment.

Abstract

This study has an objective to examine the effect of green supply chain integration (GSCI) and total quality management (TQM) practices on company performance in manufacturing companies in Karawang Regency, West Java, Indonesia. This study estimates that GSCI and TQM each have a positive and significant impact on company performance. It applies a quantitative approach. The primary data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to operational managers of selected manufacturing companies, using sector- and scale-based sampling. The variables utilized include GSCI and TQM as independent variables and company performance as the dependent variable. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test validity, reliability, and causal relationships. The results indicated that GSCI (β = 0.550; t = 10.214) and TQM (β = 0.509; t = 9.100) significantly and positively affect company performance, with an R² of 0.739, indicating strong explanatory power. These findings suggest that integrating environmental practices into the supply chain and implementing continuous quality improvement can enhance operational and organizational outcomes. This study advocates that sustainability policies in industrial parks should prioritize operational integration and quality management. Future research could explore mediating variables and longitudinal designs to assess the long-term impact of sustainability.

Abstract

This study evaluates the use of artificial intelligence (AI)-generated comics as an instructional medium for assessing students’ literacy skills and their understanding of Indonesian local wisdom values. In the context of increasing educational digitalisation, this research explores how AI-generated comics can be integrated into culturally oriented learning. The study employed a mixed-methods design involving 450 students from 15 schools across seven provinces in Indonesia. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests, student response questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and participatory observations. The findings show a significant improvement (p < 0.05) in students’ performance after using AI-generated comics, with average increases of 32% in literacy scores and 28% in students’ understanding of local wisdom. Qualitative analyses indicate that students responded positively to the interactive comic format, which provided personalised content aligned with their preferences and learning needs. Overall, the results demonstrate that AI-generated comics can serve as an effective instructional tool for integrating digital technology with culturally relevant learning materials, offering implications for curriculum development and instructional practices in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi akuntabilitas keuangan sekolah dalam meningkatkan transparansi pengelolaan dana pendidikan di SD Islam AL Fatih Paguyangan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan dokumentasi terhadap praktik keuangan sekolah, termasuk paoran penggunaan dana Bantuan Operasional Satuan Pendidikan (BOSP), sumbangan masyarakat dan donasi dari pihak luar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sekolah telah menerapkan prinsip akuntabilitas melalui pencatatan keuangan yang terstruktur, pelaporan rutin dalam rapat keuangan (bulanan dan pertengahan tahun pelajaran), pelaporan online ke pemerintah, serta keterlibatan aktif komite sekolah dan wali murid dalam evaluasi keuangan. Transparansi terhadap penggunaan dana sosial seperti donasi atau sumbangan memperkuat kepercayaan publik. Dalam penelitian in menunjukkan bahwa akuntabilitas keuangan yang dilakukan tidak hanya kewajiban administratif, melainkan menjadi sarana membangun partisipasi dan pengawasan Masyarakat secara aktif. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan sistem digitalisasi pelaporan dan pelatihan sumber daya manusia untuk meningkatkan efesiensi dan akuntabilitas keuangan sekolah

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation and impact of education subsidy policies for low-income communities in an effort to increase equitable access to education. The method used is a qualitative approach with a literature study type of research, which utilizes various sources such as scientific journals, books, government reports and relevant policy documents. Data were analyzed descriptively through a process of assessment, grouping and interpretation to obtain a comprehensive picture. The research results show that the education subsidy policy in Indonesia has been implemented through various programs, such as School Operational Assistance (BOS), Smart Indonesia Card (KIP), scholarship programs, and higher education subsidies, which in general are able to increase access to education for low-income people. This is characterized by increasing school enrollment rates and decreasing school dropout rates. However, policy effectiveness still faces a number of obstacles, including inaccurate targeting of aid recipients, uneven distribution, and weak monitoring and data collection systems. In addition, the impact of policy is more dominant in increasing access rather than quality of education. Therefore, improvements are needed in the implementation aspect so that education subsidy policies can run more optimally and sustainably.

Abstract

Community health problems in Indonesia are increasingly complex, including the rising burden of non-communicable diseases, communicable diseases, nutritional issues, and psychosocial problems, particularly among vulnerable populations such as the elderly. This community service aimed to implement an integrated community health promotion program through education, screening, and preventive interventions in Rejomulyo Village, Kediri. This study used a community-based participatory approach with a descriptive evaluative design. The program involved approximately 65 participants and included health education sessions, health screenings (vital signs, anthropometry, biochemical tests, and physical function assessment), and preventive interventions such as local food-based supplementary feeding and smoke-free household promotion. Data were collected through observation, screening records, and participant responses, and analyzed descriptively.The results showed that a significant proportion of participants were at risk of non-communicable diseases, including hypertension, elevated blood glucose, and abnormal nutritional status. Health education activities improved participants’ knowledge and awareness of disease prevention, clean and healthy living behaviors, and environmental health risks. Preventive interventions were well accepted, with increased community commitment to adopting healthier lifestyles, including routine health monitoring and smoke-free home practices.In conclusion, the integrated approach combining education, screening, and preventive interventions proved effective in improving community awareness, enabling early detection of health risks, and promoting sustainable health behaviors. This model has the potential to be replicated in other communities to enhance public health outcomes.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam bagi anak dapat diajarkan pada sejak dini. Pada masa ini, anak sangat sensitif terhadap apapun yang mereka lihat dan mereka dapatkan, termasuk melihat kebiasaan orang tuanya ketika sholat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pendekatan pembiasaan dalam pendidikan sholat bagi anak usia dini berdasarkan perspektif Al-Qur’an dan Hadis. Kajian dilakukan melalui metode literature review terhadap berbagai sumber ilmiah, baik klasik maupun kontemporer, dalam kurun waktu 2020–2025. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah pada pemahaman teologis dan pedagogis tentang pentingnya pembiasaan sholat sejak usia dini, strategi implementasi di lembaga PAUD, serta keterpaduannya dengan teori perkembangan anak. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan sholat merupakan strategi pendidikan efektif dalam menanamkan nilai spiritual, disiplin, dan karakter religius anak usia dini. Landasan normatif pembiasaan ini termuat dalam QS. An-Nisā’ [4]:103 yang menegaskan pentingnya penegakan sholat tepat waktu, serta hadis riwayat Abu Dawud yang memerintahkan orang tua untuk mengajarkan sholat kepada anak sejak usia tujuh tahun. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembiasaan sholat pada anak usia dini perlu dikembangkan melalui pendekatan holistik yang mengintegrasikan nilai agama, psikologi perkembangan, dan keterlibatan keluarga.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to analyze the influence of skills, knowledge, work ability, and compensation on employee performance at salon MSMEs in Semarang City. A quantitative approach with a survey method was applied involving 114 respondents. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results show that skills, knowledge, work ability, and compensation have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. This emphasizes that human resource development through skills and knowledge improvement, combined with fair compensation policies, plays a crucial role in enhancing employee performance in the MSME sector. This study is expected to provide practical contributions for business owners in formulating HR management strategies, as well as academic contributions to enrich the literature on employee performance in MSMEs in Indonesia. Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh keterampilan, pengetahuan, kemampuan kerja, dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan UMKM salon di Kota Semarang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 114 responden. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dengan skala Likert, diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier berganda untuk menguji pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan, pengetahuan, kemampuan kerja, dan kompensasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hal ini menegaskan bahwa pengembangan sumber daya manusia melalui peningkatan keterampilan dan pengetahuan, serta penerapan sistem kompensasi yang adil, merupakan faktor penting dalam mendukung kinerja karyawan pada sektor UMKM. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi pemilik usaha dalam merumuskan strategi manajemen SDM, serta kontribusi akademis dalam memperkaya literatur tentang kinerja karyawan pada UMKM di Indonesia.

Abstract

Digital transformation has significantly changed the education system, including in the aspect of financing, which is a key factor in improving the quality of and access to education. This study aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities of education financing in the era of digital transformation and to formulate an adaptive and sustainable conceptual model. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review, analyzing various scientific literature, policy reports, and related research findings from the past 5–10 years. The research findings indicate that the main challenges include the digital divide, limited education budgets, low digital literacy, and the complexity of digital system-based governance. On the other hand, digital transformation opens opportunities through the utilization of financial technology (fintech), digital platforms, and big data, which can enhance financial inclusion, budget efficiency, and transparency in the management of education funds. A synthesis of the findings indicates that digital transformation serves as a strategic mediator capable of converting challenges into opportunities through technological innovation and multi-stakeholder collaboration. Therefore, an integrative approach is required that combines adaptive policies, human resource capacity building, and the optimization of digital technology to create an inclusive, efficient, and sustainable education financing system in the digital era.

Abstract

This study examines the fundraising strategies for Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah (ZIS) implemented by BAZNAS Yogyakarta City, highlighting a comprehensive and integrative approach that combines both direct and indirect methods. The findings reveal that direct fundraising strategies such as face-to-face engagement and digital platform utilization are effective in generating immediate financial contributions. Meanwhile, indirect strategies play a pivotal role in enhancing public awareness, building trust, and sustaining long-term Muzakki relationships. The success of these approaches is further strengthened by active support from academic institutions, volunteers, and cross-sector collaborations. However, despite these strengths, several structural and operational challenges persist. These include inter-organizational competition, limited human resource capacity and professional certification, inefficiencies in operational processes, and insufficient educational and infrastructural support. Such constraints hinder the optimal performance of fundraising activities, resulting in inconsistencies in achieving targeted ZIS collections. This study underscores the need for strategic improvements through strengthening institutional capacity, enhancing human resource professionalism, optimizing operational systems, and expanding collaborative networks. By addressing these challenges, ZIS fundraising efforts can become more sustainable, effective, and impactful in advancing socio-economic welfare and supporting broader development goals.
