Abstract

Nowadays, Urban Heat Island (UHI) occurs in big cities worldwide. The UHI phenomenon needs to be introduced in school because this phenomenon occurs around the students. Surakarta, one of the big cities in Indonesia, has been threatened by the UHI phenomenon, so enrichment materials related to the UHI phenomenon are needed for students in schools. This research will develop the UHI e-module as an enrichment teaching material on the impact of global climate change and research on climate and its utilization. This paper aims to present an e-module development research methodology on UHI based on the phenomenon of UHI threats in Surakarta City and its effect on student achievement and collaboration skills. Design and Development Research (DDR) uses the Borg and Gall model. The methodology of the research development is divided into three phases: the needs analysis phase, the design and development phase, and the implementation and evaluation phases. The difference in this research is the geographical space-based study approach in the development of material based on the UHI phenomenon in Surakarta City and urban and rural spatial sampling techniques.

Abstract

AbstractAdapun produk yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini adalah buku ajar geografi lingkungan berbasis konstruktivis dengan model pembelajaran cooperatif learning. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, produk penelitin yang dihasilkan berupa buku ajar geografi lingkungan berbasis konstruktivis dengan model pembelajaran cooperatif learning layak digunakan oleh mahasiswa dan dosen geografi lingkungan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar, hal ini didasari oleh: 1) penilaian yang telah dilakukan oleh para ahli baik ahli isi, ahli bahasa, maupun ahli desain dengan nilai baik; 2) tanggapan atau penilaian yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi dan dosen geografi lingkungan dengan kategori baik; dan 3) hasil uji coba, baik uji coba terbatas maupun uji coba lebih luas, menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar yang cukup signifikan hal ini bisa dilihat dari nilai pretes dan postes. Selanjutnya, hasil validasi model menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan dengan produk hasil pengembangan memiliki motivasi dan hasil belajar yang lebih baik bila dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang diajarkan mengunakan metode pembelajaran ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai referensi utama dalam perbaikan mutu pembelajaran geografi lingkungan.Kata Kunci : bahan ajar, geografi lingkungan, konstruktivis, cooperatif learning, motivasi dan hasil belajarThe products produced in this development research are constructivicist-based environment teaching books with a cooperative learning model. Based on research done, the product that produced the results of a constructivist-based environmental geographic teaching book with a cooperative learning model is appropriate for students and environmental geography lecturers to Improve motivation and learning outcomes, this is based on: 1) assessments that have been performed by experts in both content experts, linguists, and good value design experts; 2) Responses or assessments conducted by students of Geography education study Program and lecturer of environmental geography with good category; and 3) test results, both limited trials and wider trials, demonstrate increased motivation and significant learning outcomes this can be seen from the value of pretes and postes. Further, model validation results show that experimental classes taught with product development have better motivation and learning outcomes when compared to the control class taught using learning methods Talks, discussions and FAQs. The results of this research are expected to be used as a major reference in improving the quality of environmental geography learning.Key words: teaching materials, environmental geography, constructivicist, cooperative learning, motivation and learning outcomes

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini sebagai bentuk usaha dalam melestraikan lingkungan asri ditingkat lingkungan desa dalam mendukung masyarakat SDGs khusus lingkungan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dengan tujuan : 1) Meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat  akan pentingnya lingkungan asri di sekitar  dan  2)  memberikan semangat baru dalam motivasi menanam pohon dan pemeliharaan secara berkelanjutan; Metode pengabdian yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah sosialisasi, Pelaksanaan kegiatan padat karya dan evaluasi program. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada minggu, 22 Mei 2022. Kegiatan penanaman pohon bersama karang taruna ini dilaksanakan pada Desa Rempe Kecamatan Seteluk Sumbawa Barat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini memiliki dampak positif terhadap penghijauan jangka pendek dan panjang dalam melestarikan lingkungan masa akan dating. Kata Kunci: penanaman pohon; karang taruna dan lingkungan asri ABSTRACTThis community service activity is a form of business in preserving a beautiful environment at the village level in supporting the SDGs community specifically for a sustainable environment. This community service activity aims to: 1) Increase public awareness of the importance of a beautiful environment around them and 2) provide a new spirit in the motivation to plant trees and maintain them in a sustainable manner; The service method used in this activity is socialization, implementation of labor-intensive activities and program evaluation. This service was carried out on Sunday, May 22, 2022. This tree planting activity with youth groups was carried out in Rempe Village, Seteluk District, West Sumbawa. Abstract

This research aims to improve the activeness and results of integrated IPS learning by implementing a cooperative learning model of Time Token type (TITO). This type of research is class action research with the subject of the study is grade VII students MTs Nurul Masak in school year 2019/2020. Research was carried out in three cycles, each cycle was carried out with 2 actions and consisted of 4 stages namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The population and samples in the study were grade VII students of MTs Nurul Masakin. The research instruments used in the implementation of this action research were observations, interviews, and field notes as well as tests of students' learning outcomes on each cycle. This study used two forms of data analysis, namely quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. Quantitative data were obtained from the percentage of students' activities in participating during the learning process and student learning results and qualitative data were used to describe data in the form of numbers in order to provide a clear picture of the activities and learning results that had been done. Based on the results of the study it showed that there was an improvement in Integrated Social Science learning outcomes using the Method of Cooperative Learning Type Time Token (TITO) which was the average value gain that each cycle increased. In Cycle I the average value obtained was 6.5, while  in cycle II the average gain value reached 7.40 and in cycle III, the average value reached 8.18.

Abstract

Abstrak: Desa Ekas merupakan daerah penghasil rumput laut terbesar di Pulau Lombok. Permasalahan krusial yang dihadapi petani adalah kendala modal yang terbatas, musim yang sewaktu-waktu beruah, pemasaran, dan keterampilan mengolah rumput laut menjadi aneka makanan siap saji atau diversifikasi produk rumput laut menjadi produk baru yang bernilai ekonomi tinggi masih belum mampu dilakukan. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan keterampilan kepada petani rumput laut tentang mengolah rumput laut menjadi aneka makanan siap saji atau diversifikasi produk rumput laut menjadi produk baru yang bernilai ekomomi tinggi; dan melakukan pemasaran agribisnis rumput laut. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam kagiatan pengabdian ini dengan menggunakan pendekatan andragogis yang mengedepankan metode ceramah, diskusi, praktek, dan demonstrasi serta presentasi hasil. Pola ini digunakan dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi kelompok Agribisnis Rumput Laut Pasir Putih dalam mengolah rumput laut menjadi aneka makanan siap saji atau diversifikasi produk rumput laut menjadi produk baru yang bernilai ekomomi tinggi, dan melakukan pemasaran agribisnis rumput laut. Evaluasi kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan pada akhir kegiatan berupa pendalaman materi. para petani rumput laut melakukan praktek secara langsung mengenai pembuatan dodol, jelly dan puding dengan bimbingan dari tim pengabdian. Pada pelaksanaan praktik tim memberikan hadiah atau reward kepada peserta yang dapat menghasilkan produk pengolahan rumput laut terbaik.Abstract: Ekas Village is the largest seaweed producing area on the island of Lombok. The crucial problems faced by farmers are limited capital constraints, seasonality that at any time, marketing, and skills to process seaweed into various ready-to-eat foods or diversification of seaweed products into new products with high economic value are still not possible. The purpose of this service is to provide seaweed farmers with skills about processing seaweed into a variety of ready-to-eat foods or diversifying seaweed products into new products of high economic value; and conducting marketing of seaweed agribusiness. The method used in this service activity uses an andragogic approach that prioritizes the method of lectures, discussions, practices, and demonstrations and presentations of results. This pattern is used in the hope of increasing the competence of the White Sand Seaweed Agribusiness group in processing seaweed into various ready-to-eat foods or diversifying seaweed products into new products with high economic value, and marketing seaweed agribusiness. Evaluation of service activities is carried out at the end of the activity in the form of deepening the material. seaweed farmers practice directly on the manufacture of dodol, jelly and pudding with the guidance of the service team. In the implementation of the practice, the team gives prizes or rewards to participants who can produce the best seaweed processing products.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenyusunan rencana pengelolaan wilayah pesisir berbasis desa pada lokasi kegiatan merupakan upaya mengarahkan pemanfaatan sumber daya pesisir dan pulau-pulau kecil secara terpadu dan berkelanjutan dengan mempertimbangkan : (1) keserasian, keselarasan, dan keseimbangan dengan daya dukung ekosistem, fungsi pemanfaatan dan fungsi perlindungan, dimensi ruang dan waktu, dimensi teknologi dan sosial budaya; (2) keterpaduan pemanfaatan berbagai jenis sumber daya, fungsi, estetika lingkungan, dan kualitas lahan  pesisir; dan (3) kewajiban untuk mengalokasikan ruang dan akses masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan wilayah pesisir dan pulau-pulau kecil yang mempunyai fungsi sosial dan ekonomi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan dokumen rencana pengelolaan wilayah pesisir berbasis desa. Pendekatan yang digunakan secara partisipatif dengan pelibatan masyarakat pesisir secara lebih luas dengan harapan dapat menentukan arah penggunaan sumber daya tiap-tiap satuan perencanaan disertai dengan penetapan alokasi ruang berbasis desa yang diintegrasikan dengan rencana pembangunan daerah. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan: 1) peta infrastruktur social public lainya; 2) Peta Land Use; 3) Peta sea use; serta 4) rencana induk pengelolaan di wilayah pesisir Desa Lembar yang berisi tentang isu dan strategi pengembangan wilayah pesisir dan laut. Hasil yang diperoleh diharapkan dapat dijadikan sebagai pedoman aksi pengelolaan kawasan pesisir dan laut secara terintegrasi dan berkelanjutan yang dapat meningkatkan kelestarian lingkungan dan ekonomi masyarakat local Kata kunci: isu wilayah; perencanaan; pemberdayaan masyarakat; wilayah pesisir. ABSTRACTThe preparation of a village-based coastal area management plan at the activity location is an effort to direct the use of coastal resources and small islands in an integrated and sustainable manner by considering: (1) harmony, alignment, and balance with the carrying capacity of the ecosystem, utilization and protection functions, dimensions space and time, technological and socio-cultural dimensions; (2) the integrated use of various types of resources, functions, environmental aesthetics, and quality of coastal land; and (3) the obligation to allocate space and community access in the use of coastal areas and small islands that have social and economic functions. This activity aims to produce a village-based coastal area management plan document. The approach used is participatory with the broader involvement of coastal communities in the hope of determining the direction of resource use for each planning unit accompanied by the determination of village-based spatial allocations that are integrated with regional development plans. This activity resulted in 1) maps of other public social infrastructures; 2) Land Use maps; 3) Map of sea use, and 4) a management master plan in the coastal area of Lembar Village which contains issues and strategies for developing coastal and marine areas. The results obtained are expected to be used as guidelines for integrated and sustainable coastal and marine area management actions that can improve the environmental and economic sustainability of local communities Keywords: coastal area; community empowerment; planning; regional issues.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan dilakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat khususnya pengenalan wisata budaya pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Geografi Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram Di Dusun Sade Rembitan Lombok Tengah dalam rangka siar budaya dan pengenalan budaya sasak khusus kalangan mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dan kunjungan langsung lapangan. Hasil Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diketahui memberikan dampak positif terhadap mahasiswa akan pentingnya budaya sebagai asset bangsa. Kondisi sebagai keraifan local sebagai budaya leluhur dalam memperkenalkan kepada masyarakat umum. Kedepan diperlukan model baru terhadap sosialisasi terutama melalui event bersama dalam memperkenalkan budaya local pada khalayak ramai.   Kata Kunci: pengenalan; wisata; budaya; sade ABSTRACTThe purpose of community service, especially the introduction of cultural tourism to students of Geography Education at the University of Muhammadiyah Mataram in Sade Rembitan Hamlet, Central Lombok, in the context of broadcasting culture and introducing special Sasak culture among students. The method used is socialization and direct field visits. The results of this community service are known to have a positive impact on students regarding the importance of culture as a nation's asset. Conditions as local wisdom as ancestral culture in introducing it to the general public. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Dan Sosial (IPAS) Bagi Siswa Sekolah Dasar Kelas IV berdasarkan kategori valid, praktis dan efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model 4D dengan empat tahapan yaitu Define, Design, Development, Dissemination. Analisis dalam penelitian yaitu analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian bahwa hasil kevalidan dari ahli materi dengan persentase 88% dengan kategori sangat valid, kevalidan yang didapatkan dari ahli perangkat pembelajaran yaitu modul ajar dengan persentase 85% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji kepraktisan yang diperoleh dari hasil respon siswa dengan persentase 96% dengan dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hasil analisis data keefektifan dengan rata-rata nilai posttest 93,33% yang menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Kata kunci: modul ajar; IPAS; kurikulum merdeka ABSTRACTThis study aims to produce teaching materials for Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) for Grade IV Elementary School Students based on valid, practical and effective categories. The research method used in this study is a 4D model with four stages, namely Define, Design, Development, Dissemination. Analysis in research is qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of the study showed that the validity results of material experts with a percentage of 88% with a very valid category, the validity obtained from learning device experts, namely Modul Ajar with a percentage of 85% with a very valid category. The results of the practicality test obtained from the results of student responses with a percentage of 96% with a very practical category. Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan kegiatan pengabdian yaitu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa dalam menyusun artikel  ilmiah yang dipublikasikan pada jurnal nasional terakreditasi. Metode pengabdian terdiri dari sosialiasi, pelaksanaan kegiatan dan evaluasi. Lokasi kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan di Mataram pada Progam Studi pendidikan Matematika Univesitas Muhammadiyah Mataram. Hasil pengabdian bahwa ada peningkatan pemahaman dalam menyusunan artikel ilmiah nasional terakreditasi dan dapat melakukan submit artikel ilmiah di OJS versi 2. Kata kunci: pelatihan; artikel ilmiah; terakreditasi ABSTRACTThe purpose of service activities is to increase student understanding in compiling scientific articles published in accredited national journals. Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini sebagai bentuk usaha dalam pengenalan lingkungan pada anak usia dini sebagai estapet generasi dalam melestraikan lingkungan asri ditingkat lingkungan desauntuk menuju lingkungan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengenalan lingkungan kepada anak usia dini pada Desa Rempe Kecamatan Seteluk Sumbawa Barat. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah sosialisasi, Pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada minggu, 10 April 2023.  Kegiatan pengenalan lingkungan melalui penanaman pohon pada anak usia dini. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini memiliki dampak positif terhadap pengenalan lingkungan sejak dini dan membangun kesadaran untuk mampu peduli terhadap lingkungan asri di masa depan.  Kata Kunci: lingkungan; penanaman pohon; usia dini; lingkungan asri ABSTRACTThis community service activity is a form of effort in introducing the environment to early childhood as a generational relay in preserving a beautiful environment at the village level towards a sustainable environment. This community service activity aims to increase environmental awareness for early childhood in Rempe Village, Seteluk District, West Sumbawa. The dedication method used in this activity is socialization, implementation, and activity evaluation. This service activity was carried out on Sunday, April 10, 2023. Activities to introduce the environment through tree planting in early childhood.
