Abstract

The quality of college graduates can be influenced by selection to enter State Universities (PTN). Therefore, the PTN selection process is an important aspect that needs to be paid attention to by prospective students, parents and the wider community. This service activity aims to provide training on scholastic potential test questions and increase the graduation percentage of Gamaliel Makassar High School students at PTN. The method used is lectures and providing training in taking scholastic potential tests, especially mathematical reasoning. The training participants were 50 class XII students at SMA Gamaliel Makassar. The results of this activity increase students' ability to understand and take scholastic potential tests, especially mathematical reasoning through practice.

Abstract

Driving schools, especially elementary schools in Wajo Regency, have several learning communities with different teacher competencies. Most teachers have not fully mastered the differentiation learning process in the Merdeka Belajar curriculum. The aim of this mentoring activity is to assist learning community teachers in planning, organizing and implementing an effective and creative Merdeka curriculum learning process. The method used in this service is a workshop form which includes stages starting from self, collaboration space, contextual demonstration and real action. Meanwhile, the material in this service activity uses teaching materials that have been determined by the Directorate General of Teachers and Education Personnel, Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology. The results of the service show that the learning community that was accompanied has been able to create a plan for real action for a quality learning process that will be implemented in their respective educational units. Apart from that, the participants increasingly understand the function and role of the Learning Community in improving student performance and solving every problem in the Education Unit

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) requires prospective primary school teachers to possess adequate AI literacy and scientific communication skills, particularly in presenting research proposals in an engaging and well-argued manner. Preliminary observations of sixth-semester PGSD (Primary School Teacher Education) students at Bone indicated that 72% experienced difficulties in structuring and delivering their proposals, as reflected in incoherent presentation flow, less communicative visuals, and limited use of digital presentation technologies. This community service program aimed to enhance students’ AI literacy and scientific presentation skills through training on the use of Canvas Gemini as an interactive medium for research proposal presentations. The program employed a participatory–educative approach through stages of socialization, technical training, mentoring, and evaluation, involving 30 PGSD Bone students. Data were collected through observation, a 15-item multiple-choice pretest–posttest, assessment of interactive slide products, and a participant response questionnaire. The results showed an increase in the average score of understanding and skills from 56.4 (pretest) to 88.2 (posttest). Approximately 80% of participants succeeded in producing at least one interactive slide representing the research problem or conceptual framework more coherently, while 94% stated that the training was relevant to their academic needs and 89% expressed interest in using Canvas Gemini for future presentations.

Abstract

Mathematics is a basic subject that is often perceived as difficult, and many students experience difficulties in achieving good grades in mathematics tests. This study aims to analyze the effect of integrating traditional games into mathematics learning on improving the learning outcomes of elementary school students through a literature review approach. Data sources were obtained from various academic databases such as Google Scholar, ResearchGate, SINTA, DOAJ, and Scopus, with publications ranging from 2020 to 2025. Articles were selected based on criteria such as year of publication, journal index, type of research, and education level. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods. The main findings show that traditional games such as kites, congklak, engklek, gobak sodor, marbles, jump rope, bekel, and damdaman significantly improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective, and social domains. These games are able to concretize abstract mathematical concepts, create a fun learning atmosphere, and increase student motivation, active involvement, and social interaction. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of innovative learning methods in elementary schools and encourage the preservation of local culture through traditional games.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze several mathematical concepts contained in traditional games and traditional foods of the Bugis tribe in Bone Regency. This research is an exploratory-descriptive study with an ethnographic approach. The instrument used in this study is a human instrument, where the researcher is directly related to the research and acts as a data collector. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use an interactive model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that traditional games such as mabbelle, mangngasing, mabendi bendi, mappadekko, and Mappasajang, and traditional foods such as doko doko cangkuli, barongko, and Putri sallang contain mathematical concepts consisting of flat and solid shapes such as squares, rectangles, kites, circles, pyramids, primes, and cubes. These mathematical concepts have relevance to mathematical concepts at elementary and secondary school levels in geometry material. Therefore, traditional games and traditional foods are used as a medium for learning mathematics in schools, especially elementary and secondary schools, so that learning is more innovative and meaningful and as a source of evaluation in learning mathematics related to local culture in the area.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental One Group Pre-test-Post-test yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media animasi Suku Kata terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas II SD Inpres 12/79 Biru II Kabupaten Bone. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media animasi suku kata, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah kemampuan membaca permulaan. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 117 siswa dengan sampel 20 siswa yang ditentukan melalui purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui tes membaca permulaan yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media animasi suku kata. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan uji Paired Sample t-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kemampuan membaca permulaan meningkat dari 64,50 (kategori cukup) pada pre-test menjadi 85,85 (kategori baik sekali) setelah post-test. Uji statistik menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 8,083. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media animasi suku kata berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas II SD Inpres 12/79 Biru II Kabupaten Bone.

Abstract

Matematika sering dipandang sebagai mata pelajaran yang sulit dan menimbulkan kecemasan bagi sebagian siswa, sehingga dapat berdampak pada hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat ketekunan siswa sekolah dasar dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei deskriptif yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret 2025. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas IV, V, dan VI di SD Negeri 23 Jeppe’e, Kabupaten Bone, dengan jumlah total 60 siswa. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 30 siswa dipilih menggunakan teknik random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa Skala Ketekunan Belajar Matematika yang terdiri atas 28 butir pernyataan. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran skala tersebut dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat ketekunan belajar matematika siswa di SD Negeri 23 Jeppe’e, Kabupaten Bone, berada pada kategori sedang. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa memiliki ketekunan yang cukup baik dalam menghadapi kesulitan belajar matematika, namun masih terdapat kecenderungan untuk mudah menyerah ketika menghadapi soal matematika yang lebih menantang.

Abstract

Primary education is the main foundation in character building and developing the potential of students. Therefore, the learning process needs to be designed in a comprehensive, meaningful, and enjoyable manner in order to foster students' motivation to learn. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between teachers' skills in varying their teaching methods and the learning outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects in senior classes at SDN 77 Pallae, Bone Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a population of 52 students. Samples were taken using saturated sampling techniques. The data were analysed using the Pearson Product-Moment technique. The results of the inferential statistical analysis showed a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 with a correlation coefficient of 0.454, which is in the moderate category. These findings indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between teachers' skills in implementing teaching variations and the IPAS learning outcomes of senior students at SDN 77 Pallae, Bone Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis quasi-eskperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media mentimeter terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 16 Cellu, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 18 siswa yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes berbentuk pilihan ganda untuk mengukur hasil belajar IPAS siswa sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media Mentimeter. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa nilai pretest hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V berada pada kategori sedang dengan rata – rata sebesar 55,83, sedangkan nilai postest berada pada kategori baik dengan rata- rata sebesar 78,61. Sedangkan, hasil analisis statistik inferensial menggunakan uji Paired sample t- test menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung sebesar 7,583 > ttabel sebesar 1,73961 dengan nilai signifikan 0.001, sehingga terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar IPAS siswa sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media mentimeter. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media mentimeter berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V SD Negeri 16 Cellu.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) design an information system for ordering and purchasing Web-based drugs at Putri Farma Pharmacy, Bulukumba. (2) To implement an Information System for ordering and purchasing Web-Based drugs at Putri Farma Pharmacy Bulukumba. This study uses the Waterfall research method, where the stages are as follows: Needs analysis, System Design, Coding & Testing, Application and Maintenance. Based on the results of this study, it can be interpreted that: (1) Web-based drug ordering and purchasing information system is designed based on problems that occur in the process of selling drugs in pharmacies, using UML (Unified Modeling Language) including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams and sequence diagrams and. The php programming language using the Mysql database as its database storage. (2) The implementation of a web-based drug ordering and purchasing information system at the Putri Farma Bulukumba Pharmacy is well implemented. This can be seen from the results of testing the use of the system using the System Usability Scale (SUS) obtained a score of 81% of 10 respondents with a letter grade of A or very good.
