Abstract

This study investigated the effect of teachers’ variables on students’ academic achievement in entrepreneurship education in technical and vocational colleges in Lagos State, Nigeria. Two research questions and two hypotheses were tested at a 0.05 significance level. The ex-post facto research design was used for the study, and the population of the study was 223 students. The study sample was 85 final-year students from vocational and technical colleges in Ikotun and Ikorodu. No instrument was developed in this study. Rather, a letter was used to request data. Data was analysed using mean for the research questions and ANOVA (Analysis of variance) to test the hypotheses.  The collected data was analysed using the mean for the research questions and ANOVA to test the hypotheses. The finding revealed that the teachers’ variables related to sex and certification do not significantly affect student’s academic achievement in entrepreneurship education in technical and vocational colleges. The recommendation was made that the government should recruit competent teachers for technical and vocational college teaching; there should be no consideration in recruiting technical and vocational teachers because the students’ academic achievement is unrelated to teachers' sex and certification.Penelitian ini menyelidiki pengaruh variabel guru terhadap prestasi akademik siswa dalam pendidikan kewirausahaan di perguruan tinggi teknik dan kejuruan di Negara Bagian Lagos, Nigeria. Abstract

Hypostatic is derived from the original language of Scripture (Heb. 1:3) which brought the essential person of Jesus in his human and divine natures. Hebrews describes Jesus as superior to all other beings and all other claims. The doctrine of the hypostatic union teaches that our Lord’s divine nature and His human nature were united forever. He is different from the rest of humanity in that He is God and sinless and his unique theanthropic person of the universe. Despite the various opposing objections that attempt to criticize or disprove Jesus Christ’s two natures (divine and human) his obedience to God’s will even to the point of death shows Jesus’ divinity and humanity working together in perfect harmony. The basic idea that Christ is hypostatically communicating with both divine and human energies is also experienced by believers when their humanity is energized by the Holy Spirit and able to speak to God. In conclusion, the explanation of the anthropic unity of the person of Jesus Christ is quite clear that Jesus has both a divine will and a human will. The union of Christ’s divine and human natures are related to His acts as an incarnate person through His experience as a result of his person of Christ.

Abstract

Immanuel Kant's philosophy, celebrated for its universalist ethics, harbors a shocking paradox: his groundbreaking ideas on autonomy and cosmopolitanism coexist with deeply Eurocentric, racist, and patriarchal views. This tension raises urgent questions about the applicability of Kantian principles in contemporary debates on borders, race, and gender. This study critically examines Kant's legacy, interrogating how his moral and political frameworks, while foundational, reinforce hierarchies that marginalize non-Europeans, women, and migrants. The research objectives are threefold: (1) to analyze Kant's contradictions between universalism and exclusionary practices, (2) to assess the implications of his racial and gendered hierarchies for modern social justice movements, and (3) to explore pathways for reclaiming Kantian ethics inclusively. Using a systematic literature review of peer-reviewed works (1990–2024), the study synthesizes critiques from critical race theory, feminist philosophy, and postcolonial studies. Key findings reveal that Kant's racial theories justified colonial oppression, his gender binaries perpetuated patriarchal norms, and his cosmopolitanism neglected border violence. However, his emphasis on human dignity offers a redeemable framework for rethinking global justice. The study contributes by bridging Kantian scholarship with intersectional critiques, proposing a revised ethics that confronts historical biases while retaining universalist aspirations. By exposing these contradictions, the paper urges philosophers to reckon with Kant's legacy—not to discard it, but to transform it into a tool for equity.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a widespread behavioral issue among junior high school students, commonly marked by delays in completing schoolwork, preference for leisure activities such as gaming or social media, and difficulties in managing time effectively. Academic resilience the ability to persist through academic challenges is considered a potential protective factor against procrastination. This study investigates the effect of academic resilience on student procrastination among junior high school students in Pesawaran, Indonesia. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method, with data collected through a 74-item Likert-scale questionnaire. A total of 163 students were selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. The instrument was tested for validity and reliability prior to analysis. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicate that academic resilience significantly affects student procrastination (p < 0.05), with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.782. This means that 78.2% of the variance in procrastination can be explained by academic resilience, while the remaining 21.8% is attributed to other unmeasured factors. These findings underline the importance of integrating resilience-building strategies into educational interventions to mitigate procrastination behaviors. The study contributes to the literature on student motivation and offers practical insights for educators and school counselors seeking to enhance student engagement and academic discipline.

Abstract

This article explores Jesus' high priestly identity within Christian theology, focusing on its significance in the Old Testament priesthood. The role of the high priest was central to the religious and cultural life of the ancient Jewish community, serving as an intermediary between God and the people. The theological and historical controversy about Jesus' position as high priest is one of the main issues discussed. The paper examines theological, historical and biblical data to explore this issue thoroughly. The research question is: What are the theological implications of Jesus' identity as the High Priest? The research method involves biblical exegesis, historical analysis, and theological reflection. The study clarifies the complex relationship between the role of Jesus and the conventional information about the high priest using the Old Testament image of the high priest and the Jewish religious framework and the New Testament depiction of Jesus in the context of the priesthood.
