Abstract

The progression of labor is influenced by three main factors: power, the birth canal, and the fetus. Additionally, studies indicate that the mother's position can enhance the labor process (Bonny, D. 2018). Labor begins with the onset of regular contractions, the expulsion of bloody mucus (known as the bloody show), and cervical dilation, marking the first stage of labor. This stage concludes when the cervix is fully dilated; it typically lasts around 13 hours for first-time mothers (with a latent phase of 7-8 hours and an active phase of 5-6 hours) and about 7 hours for those who have given birth before (with a latent phase of 4 hours and an active phase of 3 hours) (Hanifa, W. 2018).The study aimed to investigate the relationship between maternal positioning during the active phase of labor and the progression of labor at Awal Bros Panam Hospital in Pekanbaru. The study involved maternity patients in the active phase at the hospital, with a sample size of 30 participants selected through total sampling. Data collection utilized a partograph checklist. Univariate analysis revealed that 20% of respondents were under 20 or over 35 years old, while 80% were aged 20-35. Among the participants, 30% were first-time mothers (primigravidas) and 70% were experienced mothers (multigravidas). Out of the 30 respondents who adopted walking, squatting, or tilted positions, 17 (56.7%) experienced progress in labor, while 13 (43.3%) did not. Statistical analysis using the Chi-Square test yielded a p-value of 0.001, indicating a significant relationship between maternal position during the active phase of labor and labor progression at Awal Bros Panam Hospital, Pekanbaru. The results suggest that maternal positioning plays a crucial role in labor progression. This research may serve as a valuable resource for enhancing midwifery services by providing information and counseling to mothers about effective positions before delivery.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas penerapan kebijakan punishment di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Qurrota A'yuni Petapahan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan. Fokus utama penelitian mencakup tahapan kebijakan punishment, persepsi tenaga pendidik, faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta dampaknya terhadap kedisiplinan kerja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner, wawancara, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan punishment, melalui pendekatan bertahap, efektif dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan dan membentuk budaya kerja yang lebih profesional. Namun, terdapat kendala seperti kebijakan pemotongan gaji saat izin sakit, keterbatasan guru pengganti, dan persepsi ketidakadilan yang memengaruhi motivasi kerja. Rekomendasi yang diajukan mencakup revisi kebijakan pemotongan gaji untuk izin sakit, penyediaan guru pengganti, serta pemberian penghargaan bagi tenaga pendidik yang berprestasi. Dengan implementasi yang lebih adil dan fleksibel, kebijakan punishment dapat memberikan dampak positif yang lebih optimal bagi seluruh pihak.

Abstract

Morals are important to discuss because morals are the main pillar of human life. This study aim to assess the impact of comprehending the Book of Washoya Al Abaa’ lil Abnaa’ on the moral development of students at the Al Hidayah Modern Islamic Boarding School Riau. This research is quantitative associative, employing a proportionate stratified random sampling technique involving 232 students from the Al Hidayah Modern Islamic Boarding School Riau. This study employs sederhana regression analysis as its data analysis technique. The study's results indicate that the first hypothesis is supported, as the t-count value exceeds the t-table value (4.475 > 1.65145), and the significance value of the t-count is less than the alpha level set at 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). It can be concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected while the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is significantly accepted, indicating that comprehension of the Washoya Al Abaa' lil Abnaa' Book has a substantial impact on the morals of the students at Al Hidayah Riau Islamic Boarding School. The correlation coefficient between the variable of comprehension of the Washoya Al Abaa' lil Abnaa' Book (X1) and the morals variable (Y) is 0.409. This figure indicates a moderate correlation between the variable of comprehension of the Washoya Al Abaa' lil Abnaa' book (X1) and the morals variable (Y), as the computed r value is 0.409, which exceeds 0.05. The second hypothesis indicates that the calculated t value (-1.443) is less than the critical t value (1.65145), and the significance value of the calculated t (0.150) exceeds the alpha level of 0.05.

Abstract

It is these facilities that can help individuals become more willing to do new things, to be bold and brave, to be able to try new things with new people, and to be willing to share new information that has been learned, making them essential learning environments. Generating a kesalahan is not impossible when learning something new, but the kesalahan and kekeliruan itself are aspects that are understandable in education. Eventually, the old people became disillusioned with their goals and joined a learning group. Those in their later years frequently have the desire to express their kelebihan and kekurangannya. For this reason, it is very important for groups to work together in a comprehensive manner to conduct joint evaluations that can be used as reflective materials. This will enable groups to evaluate each other based on the opinions of other people. The field of education is seeing rapid changes, one of which is the rise of online learning. Digital literacy is declining.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to integrate Islamic management principles in the management of educators and education personnel in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of education. This research uses the library research method to explore and analyze literature from various written sources such as books, journals, articles, dissertations and official documents regarding the management of educators and education personnel, with the aim of understanding existing theories and identifying gaps in the literature. Data was collected through literature searches in academic databases, selection of credible sources, organizing data based on themes, and analysis by reducing, presenting, and synthesizing information to draw conclusions that can improve the quality and effectiveness of educational management. The result of this work is that educators, including teachers, lecturers and counselors, have an important role in the educational process with the main task of teaching, educating and guiding students, while educational staff such as tutors and instructors support the implementation of education through technical tasks. The management of educators and education personnel is based on Islamic teachings which emphasize skill, discipline and good implementation of tasks, as well as the principle of order to achieve organizational goals. The aim of this management is to ensure that the institution has a quality workforce, an effective work system and a harmonious work climate through recruitment, fair compensation and employee capacity development. Management covers critical aspects such as curriculum, personnel, classes, student affairs, and finance, with duties and functions that emphasize professionalism to improve the quality of education. Even though it is formally recognized, Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia still face quality challenges due to limited facilities and the government's unpreparedness.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the main challenges in human resource management in Indonesia and identify relevant solutions to support sustainable economic growth and inclusive organizational development. This research uses a qualitative approach or library research and field research. This research found that the gap in qualifications between college graduates and the needs of the job market is a major challenge in human resource management in Indonesia, so adjustments to the education curriculum are needed. Women's workforce participation is still low due to cultural barriers and unfairness in the distribution of work, so organizations need to develop policies that support gender equality. Non-transparent performance evaluation is a significant problem and needs to be addressed with an evidence-based system. Lack of access to training and career development hinders employee progress, especially in remote sectors, necessitating investment in career development programs. Inconsistency in the application of labor law creates uncertainty, so consistency in its application is needed. Diversity of cultures, religions and ethnic backgrounds requires inclusive HR management to avoid discrimination. Adaptation to technological change is crucial, with digital skills and adaptability increasingly important. Organizations and governments need to collaborate to prepare the workforce for the era of digitalization through relevant training and technological accessibility.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze Budgeting Planning Analysis in Optimizing Training. This type of research is a library study. Data collection with documentation. Data analysis with SLR. Research results Effective budget planning is very important in optimizing the implementation of training (education and training) in an organization. By planning the budget appropriately, organizations can ensure efficient allocation of funds for training activities, so that the goal of developing participant competency can be achieved optimally. A good budgeting process also allows for easier evaluation of the achievements and impact of the training activities. Therefore, a mature management budget is a key factor in improving the quality and desirability of the training programs being held.

Abstract

Education is a major pillar in the development of a country, and the quality of education in Indonesia is highly dependent on teacher competence. This study analyzes the relevance of objectives and materials in teacher education and training (diklat) programs at SMP Negeri 2 Batu Belah. Using a qualitative approach and case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that although the training program has benefits in improving teacher competence, there are significant challenges, such as the inconsistency of the materials with practical needs in the field and the lack of training in the use of digital technology. In addition, theoretical training materials provide less opportunity for teachers to develop practical skills. This study recommends the need for updating training materials that are more relevant and in accordance with the specific needs of teachers, as well as improving evaluation and feedback to support the effectiveness of training programs in improving the quality of teaching in schools

Abstract

In the context of acquiring foreign language competence, motivation plays an important role in determining the outcome of the learning process. This study explores the influence of instructional leadership on the motivation and learning activity of students in language learning at the Tanjung Berulak Islamic Madrasah Tarbiyah Pondok Pesantren (PPMTI). The study uses a quantitative correlational approach, with a population of as many as 620 students from PPMTI Tg. Berulak. The sample size of 71 respondents was determined using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data analysis includes validity testing of research instruments and regression analysis to measure the impact of instructional leadership on student motivation. The regression analysis resulted in a coefficient of 0.870, which indicates that the improvement in instructional leadership by one unit was linked to the increase in student motivation by 0.870. In addition, the study also found that motivation significantly affects student learning activity, with a significance rate counted below 0.05. The findings highlight the important role of instructional leadership in enhancing the motivation and active participation of students in language learning environments.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the compensation and reward policy for educators and education personnel at SDIT Al-Izhār School Pekanbaru. The compensation and reward policy designed by the Daar En Niswah Foundation is not only intended to motivate and appreciate performance, but also as an encouragement to increase spiritual values ​​for educators and education personnel at SDIT Al-Izhār School Pekanbaru. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach method, where data collection is through interviews and document analysis. The results of this study illustrate that, in the implementation of the compensation and reward policy, in addition to having a positive impact, it also has a negative impact due to the unresolved obstacles. Thus, alternative solutions are needed to overcome existing obstacles and periodic evaluation of the implementation of the policy.
