Abstract

The banking sector plays a strategic role in supporting sustainable development through green investment. However, research on the sustainability of green investment implementation in Indonesia’s banking sector remains limited. This study aims to analyze research developments from 2019 to 2025 by identifying research themes, topic interrelationships, and the challenges and opportunities associated with implementation. This study employs a Systematic Literature Review method with a bibliometric approach based on PRISMA. Articles were obtained from Google Scholar and selected from SINTA accredited journals and relevant Q1–Q4 international journals. The findings indicate that research on green investment in Indonesia’s banking sector remains limited and has not specifically focused on sustainability issues. Major challenges include emphasis on short-term investment returns, regulatory inconsistencies, greenwashing risks, limited human resource capacity, and low investor confidence. Nevertheless, opportunities for sustainable implementation are supported by green accounting, banking digitalization, green sukuk development, and integration with the blue economy concept. This study is expected to provide a reference for future research, policy development, and academic discussion in promoting sustainable green investment in Indonesia’s banking sector.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Bank Perekonomian Rakyat (BPR) is a banking entity that plays an important role in strengthening the national economy, particularly by providing financing support to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). BPR is expected to provide financial services to MSME entrepreneurs and rural communities who lack access to commercial banks. However, BPRs face a dilemma in carrying out their operations due to fundamental changes in the financial industry. Research conducted in NTT shows that BPRs compete with Commercial Banks, Cooperatives, Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), and Financial Technology to maintain their financial sustainability. Competitive advantage can be achieved through optimal resource management, especially in the era of knowledge-based competition. This study aims to examine the positioning of BPR as the main pillar in supporting the growth of MSMEs and rural communities through inclusive and sustainable financial services. Positioning using SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis is a way to understand the position of a company or product in the market by identifying internal and external factors that affect banking performance. The results of the research are expected to include BPR's strategic model in strengthening its position in the market and ensuring growth and financial sustainability in the midst of fierce competition, scientific articles in reputable journals, ISBN books, copyrights to the books, and news.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between assets, market capitalization, company reputation, and stock prices in relation to financial performance. The research sample consisted of 30 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using secondary data from 2017 to 2022. The analysis employed multiple regression analysis with panel data. The results indicate that assets, market capitalization, and stock prices significantly affect financial performance, while the company's reputation index does not have a significant impact. These findings suggest that companies with strong asset values, high market capitalization, favorable stock prices are likely to enhance their financial performance. The study is limited by the small sample size of 30 companies, which may affect the generalizability of the findings. Further researchers are encouraged to use a larger number of samples with different analysis methods. Implications: This study serves as a benchmark for companies assessing their performance and provides valuable insights for investors when making investment decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the form and implementation of marketing personalization strategies at Swiss-Belcourt Kupang Hotel, their effects on customer experience and satisfaction, and the challenges and opportunities associated with their implementation. This study employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving 13 purposively selected informants, including the General Manager, front office staff, marketing staff, and 10 hotel guests. The findings indicate that marketing personalization is implemented through four main processes: identifying customer needs and preferences from the check-in stage, establishing effective two-way communication through direct and digital channels, providing structured staff training based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and utilizing customer data from reservation systems and direct interactions. These practices positively influence customer experience, satisfaction, and loyalty. This study contributes to the service marketing literature by demonstrating that, in the context of a hotel in Eastern Indonesia, effective personalization can be developed through consistent interpersonal interaction rather than sophisticated digital technology, thereby offering an alternative perspective to the dominant technology-centric personalization literature. The findings provide strategic guidance for hotel management to improve service consistency, optimize customer data utilization, and strengthen staff training programs in order to create more personalized and memorable guest experiences. This study is limited to a single qualitative case study at Swiss-Belcourt Kupang Hotel; therefore, the findings cannot be generalized to all hotels. In addition, the organizational homogeneity of the informants may restrict the diversity of perspectives obtained.
