Abstract

Discipline in the context of early childhood education can be interpreted as a child's ability to follow applicable rules and norms. PAUD Nurul Islam is an educational institution where children's disciplinary abilities are not yet optimal. Some children still experience difficulties in following established rules and routines, such as arriving late to school, throwing rubbish out of place and not heeding teacher instructions. The aim of this research is to determine the disciplinary conditions of group A children at PAUD Nurul Islam Kragilan and to determine the disciplinary strategies used at PAUD Nurul Islam Kragilan. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The subjects in this research were Group A children and PAUD teacher Nurul Islam Kragilan. The data collection technique used in this research is interviews. Based on the findings obtained, the cultivation of discipline in early childhood at PAUD Nurul Islam is carried out through various approaches involving teachers as role models. The condition of children's discipline is not based on their conscience but is influenced by other people. Teachers at PAUD Nurul Islam use various strategies to instill discipline in children, one of which is through habituation, advice and giving rewards. Parents must create a good environment, the school continues to collaborate well and researchers can increase insight into teacher strategies.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah tinggi dan berat badan yang tidak sesuai dengan usianya perkembangannya dengan penyebab beragam seperti buruknya asupan gizi pranatal, pola asuh, atau masalah infeksi yang dialami oleh ibu atau anak. Persoalan lain yang mendeterminasi stunting adalah rendahnya pengetahuan orang tua akan pengasuhan, pendidikan orang tua, dan sanitasi buruk dilingkungan rumah.  Permasahalan stunting berdampak besar pada kehidupan anak-anak dimasa mendatang seperti menurunya prestasi, keidakpercayaan diri dan problem produktivitas dimasa mendatang. Disisi lain ada kondisi yang tidak pernah tersentuh baik secara praktis maupun penelitian yaitu penerimaan ibu yang memiliki anak stunting. Tentu dinamika psikologi ibu saat menerima kenyataan bahwa anaknya didiagnosa stunting akan sangat beragam seperti marah, tidak menerima, mengalami stress maupun sedih. Dengan demikian sebagai ibu perlu memiliki ketahanan dan adaptasi ditengah kondisi risiko dan masalah stunting anak, ketahanan itu disebut dengan resiliensi. Dimana resiliensi dapat meningkat melalui aspek dukungan sosial, psikologis, dan pengetahuan. Dalam hal ini peneliti tertarik pada aspek dukungan pengetahuan untuk meningkatkan resiliensi ibu melalui program parenting transformatif yang menekankan berpikir reflektif atas pengalamanan yang terjadi. Sehingga peneliti mengusulkan untuk mengembangkan e-modul parenting transformatif program dalam menumbuhkan resiliensi ibu dengan menggunakan metode ADDIE (Analysis, Define, Develop, Impmentation, dan Evaluation).

Abstract

Kondisi masyarakat yang ada di lingkungan PAUD BKB KEMAS Pancasona cenderung menggunakan pola asuh otoriter terhadap anaknya yang masih berada di usia dini. Sehingga, hal ini menjadi urgensi penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui analisis pola asuh otoriter di PAUD BKB KEMAS Pancasona serta mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh otoriter terhadap sosial emosional anak usia 4-5 tahun. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian data yang telah didapat akan diolah dan dibuktikan dengan teori-teori yang berkaitan. Hasil penelitian bahwa pola asuh otoriter di PAUD BKB KEMAS Pancasona memiliki karakteristik, pengasuhan yang ketat dan memaksa, memberikan hukuman fisik, dan melarang anak melakukan sesuatu tanpa memberikan penjelasan. Sementara dalam perkembangan sosial emosional anak dengan pola asuh otoriter di PAUD BKB KEMAS Pancasona Desa Ukirsari menghasilkan perkembangan sosial emosional anak yang bersifat negatif, yaitu anak yang takut untuk mencoba sesuatu yang baru ketika mengenal lingkungan baru, emosinya tidak terkontrol, penakut, pemalu, kurang kreatif, serta menghasilkan perkembangan sosial emosional yang bersifat positif, yaitu anak yang disiplin, bertanggung jawab dan percaya diri.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide parents with an understanding of the importance of early literacy and effective ways to stimulate the reading and writing skills of young children. The theme of the activity is "Reading & Writing for Early Childhood", held at PAUD Safitri, Kota Serang, with the Ambassador of Reading from Serang City 2023 as the speaker. This event was attended by 10 parents who focused on understanding and practising early literacy methods. During this activity, parents were introduced to the importance of language and literacy development in children and techniques they can apply at home, such as reading aloud, matching pictures with words, and writing their child's name. The evaluation results showed that interactive and experience-based methods were more effective in increasing children's interest in literacy compared to conventional methods. In addition, parents gained an understanding of the stages of children's literacy development and how to provide stimulation appropriate for their age. The activity also emphasised the importance of a home environment that supports literacy, where children familiar with books and stories are more interested in reading and writing. With this activity, it is hoped that parents will become more actively involved in supporting their children's literacy development enjoyably and effectively.

Abstract

Disiplin dalam konteks pendidikan anak usia dini dapat diartikan sebagai kemampuan anak dalam menaati peraturan dan norma yang berlaku. PAUD Nurul Islam merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang belum optimalnya kemampuan kedisiplinan anak. Sebagian anak masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menaati peraturan dan rutinitas yang telah ditetapkan, seperti datang terlambat ke sekolah, membuang sampah pada tempatnya dan tidak mengindahkan perintah guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi kedisiplinan anak kelompok A di PAUD Nurul Islam Kragilan dan untuk mengetahui strategi kedisiplinan yang digunakan di PAUD Nurul Islam Kragilan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak Kelompok A dan guru PAUD Nurul Islam Kragilan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil temuan yang diperoleh, penanaman kedisiplinan pada anak usia dini di PAUD Nurul Islam dilakukan melalui berbagai pendekatan dengan melibatkan guru sebagai panutan. Kondisi kedisiplinan anak tidak berdasarkan hati nuraninya tetapi dipengaruhi oleh orang lain. Guru di PAUD Nurul Islam menggunakan berbagai strategi untuk menanamkan kedisiplinan pada anak, salah satunya melalui pembiasaan, nasihat dan pemberian reward. Orang tua harus menciptakan lingkungan yang baik, pihak sekolah terus menjalin kerjasama yang baik dan peneliti dapat menambah wawasan tentang strategi guru.

Abstract

Strengthening character education in early childhood is one of the strategic steps in preparing a generation that is intelligent and has good character. This Community Service Activity was carried out with the aim of increasing the role of collaboration between teachers and parents in developing the character of great children through seven positive habits in early childhood. The implementation was carried out through socialization with a participatory approach to teachers and parents at PAUD Darunnajwa regarding the urgency and implementation of the seven positive habits of great children. The results showed an increase in teachers' and parents' understanding of the urgency of character education in early childhood and the implementation in integrating character values through the habituation of 7 (seven) positive habits of great children and the importance of positive habits both at home and at school. This Community Service Activity provides recommendations to teachers and schools to be able to maintain consistent and sustainable cooperation in the formation of children's character.

Abstract

The transition period is a crucial time for children, during which they are required to adapt to a new environment and various changes. Many children feel anxious, afraid, or hesitant to be separated from their parents. The role of parents and teachers is vital in helping children adapt during this period so that they are ready for school. The DPL KKM 70 UNIBA group conducted community service activities coinciding with the beginning of the new school year in the form of parenting sessions, featuring speakers from PGPAUD UNIBA lecturers, using a socialization method. This activity aimed to encourage parents to prepare for their child's transition period, recognize their needs, and promote active parental involvement in optimizing child growth and development through collaboration between teachers and parents. The results showed an increase in parental understanding before and after the socialization. If you want, I can also help make it more concise or formal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan media kolase batu warna dalam pembelajaran matematika awal serta mengetahui bagaimana media tersebut dapat menstimulasi kemampuan matematika anak usia 4–5 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah 15 anak kelompok A di TK Mangga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media kolase batu warna efektif digunakan untuk mengenalkan konsep-konsep matematika dasar seperti klasifikasi, pola, jumlah, ukuran, dan perbandingan. Selain itu, media ini juga membantu dalam mengembangkan keterampilan motorik halus, kemampuan bahasa, serta sosial-emosional anak. Aktivitas bermain sambil belajar menggunakan batu warna memungkinkan anak belajar secara konkret dan menyenangkan, sesuai dengan karakteristik tahap praoperasional menurut Piaget. Dengan demikian, media kolase batu warna menjadi alternatif pembelajaran inovatif yang mampu menciptakan suasana belajar bermakna dan menyenangkan di PAUD.

Abstract

Gross motor skills are an important aspect of children's physical development that needs to be developed from an early age. One activity considered effective in stimulating these skills is rhythmic gymnastics. This study aims to determine the effect of rhythmic gymnastics on the gross motor development of children aged 5–6 years enrolled at Masyarikul Anwar Pre-Primary Education in Serang Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method with a pretest and posttest design. Fifteen children participated in the study. Data collection used an observation sheet covering indicators of balance, strength, and agility. The data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test using SPSS. Based on the analysis, a significant difference was found between the pretest and posttest scores, indicating an increase in gross motor skills after regular rhythmic gymnastics treatment. Therefore, rhythmic gymnastics can be used as a learning method to optimally support the physical development of early childhood.
